Just as everyone decided on this plan, a Monarch employee got their attention.

"Excuse me, Dr. Russell. The heads are asking for you. You guys as well." She pointed to everyone else. "It's about Apex and Mechagodzilla, and what to do with Godzilla and Kong."

"Fine, we'll be there shortly," Mark said. The Monarch employee left.

"Well, we better go," Ilene said. Not wanting to keep the top brass waiting, everyone nodded in agreement. As they walked to the nearest command center, Goku asked about the Titans.

"So, what's this Monarch thing?"

"We're an organization dedicated to study the Titans," Madison answered.

"But the Titans are so strong, why don't you guys fight them to get stronger yourselves?"

Vegeta groaned. "You idiot. Not everything involves fighting."

"Sheesh, calm down, Vegeta. How many times are you gonna call me an idiot today?"

"As many as I need to, to get through that thick skull of yours."

Goku placed his hands on his head. "What are you talking about? My head is fine."

"Ughhhh, you're hopeless."

Everyone couldn't help but laugh.

The group finally reached the nearby headquarters Monarch set up, which was a large tent. The interior was crowded, with people, computers and gadgets galore. The constant chatter and electronic beeping was deafening.

"Whoa," Goku, Madison, Josh and Bernie said simultaneously.

One of the Monarch heads at the large center table stood up to greet the group.

"Ah, Doctor Russell. Welcome. Please, everyone, have a seat."

Everyone took their seats and the meeting began. The head that greeted everyone said some opening words.

"I know what everyone is thinking. What everyone's questions are. But first, we must thank these two men for finishing off Mechagodzilla. Without their aid, more lives would have surely been lost, along with infrastructure."

A round of applause erupted for Goku and Vegeta.

Clearing his throat, another executive spoke. "Now, back to business. Godzilla is already five miles offshore, and descending rapidly. As for Kong, we believe that it is best for him to remain under Monarch surveillance."

Immediately, Jia retaliated with sign language.

"What is she saying?" Nathan asked Ilene.

"She says that he hated it there. He will most likely refuse to return willingly."

"Do you have a better idea?" another Monarch director asked.

"In fact, we do," Nathan said. "While in the Hollow Earth, we discovered that it's Kong's true home. We even came across a massive throne for him there. It's where he belongs."

The Monarch directors discussed the potential idea amongst themselves before one of them spoke up.

"Alright, we'll authorize it. What about Godzilla?"

"Well, since we know that he was attacking because of what Apex was doing, he possesses no threat to humanity anymore," Bernie explained.

"We should leave him be," Madison added.

"You mean it was Apex that was behind that robotic Godzilla?"

"Godzilla only attacked Apex in Florida because he was trying to stop the creation of this Mechagodzilla," Josh said. "He's still our protector."

"Speaking of Mechagodzilla, I found this. Do you think it's important?" Goku gave the drive to one of the executives.

"I don't know, but we're about to see," the executive said. She gave the drive to a Monarch employee, who in turn plugged it into a computer.

All of the screens flickered and flashed with static until a familiar purple and white alien appeared.

"Oh ho ho ho ho! Greetings, monkeys!"

"Frieza!" Goku and Vegeta said while getting up from their seats.

"I have to say you humans are hilarious vermin. First, you awaken my pet Ghidorah, who then proceeded to destroy your cities. Then, you used Ghidorah's conscience to power your own robot lizard. I barely had to put in any effort at all. You all almost killed yourselves with your own arrogance and ignorance."

"What do you want, Frieza?" Goku asked.

"Ah, Goku. I'm glad you asked. I came here to give the Earth a fair warning. You see, Ghidorah was under my influence five years ago. And don't you worry, he will be again soon enough. Also, I have another Titan in store, but it's a secret."

"What are you planning to do, you bastard?!" Vegeta asked while punching the table.

"Come now, Vegeta. I would hate to spoil the surprise." Frieza cackled. "Ah, but do not fear. Remember to bow at my feet, and I will grant you a swift and painless death."

Using his tail, Frieza knocked the camera down. The transmission cut and the screens returned to normal.

"That monster," Goku said, clenching his fist.

"Who is this Frieza?" Ilene asked, speaking for everyone else in the room.

"He's a really bad guy that goes around the universe, conquering or killing anyone that's in his way."

"Doesn't matter. We've stopped him before, we'll do it again," Vegeta said.

Goku nodded.

"You seem to know this Frieza best," a Monarch executive said. "What can we do to reinforce our defenses?"

"Oh, I know. What about the Dragon Balls?" Goku suggested.

"The Dragon what?" Josh asked.

"Dragon Balls. They're these round orange balls with stars inside them. There are seven, and if we get them all, we can wish for anything we want from a dragon named Shenron."

"I think I know what you're talking about," Bernie said. "There's a conspiracy of seven streaks that flew in different directions but the government tried to cover it up by calling them a meteor shower."

"Actually, Monarch does possess some of them," Mark said. "They're highly radioactive, so we've been holding the ones we've found in our facility in Tokyo. However, we're still missing two."

"Radio-what?" Goku asked, scratching his head.

"Radiation. It's an energy that most of the Titans feed on, as well as their power source," Nathan answered.

"Hmm, well, come to think of it, those big monsters we saw were full of energy," Goku thought.

"Tons of it," Vegeta followed. "Maybe this radiation is the same thing as ki."

"Oh, that would make sense! And if these monsters use this radiation to get stronger…"

"… We could use them to get stronger too."

"Okay, back to the Dragon Balls," Ilene said, changing the subject. "What happens when we get all of them?"

"We can then wish for the dragon Shenron, who can grant any wish you want," Goku said. "You can wish for all of the people who are dead to come back, fix your cities…"

"…Or a weapon to defeat Frieza," Vegeta finished. "But we'll only get three wishes, so choose carefully."

The room suddenly was filled with cheers and smiles. Honolulu. San Francisco. Boston. Pensacola. Hong Kong. All of it could be fixed, and all of its people could come back. And there was a fighting chance against Frieza's Titans. Perhaps there was hope after all.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get those Dragon Balls!" Madison exclaimed.

"According to the readings, it appears one on Rebirth Island, while another is in a volcano located in Hawaii," a Monarch technician revealed.

"Mothra and Rodan," Mark said.
