If it could… the mound of eyeballs and flesh would've screamed as it watched the Mobile Suit known as the Brave boost towards it as it aimed its Beam Rifle at it.
It was quick to shake off its initial shock, however, as it sent several strong signal bursts towards the Brave. With relative ease, the Brave was able to dodge all the signal bursts, much to the dismay of the Signal Tower, before it fired off several shots from its Drake Howling Beam Rifle. The Beam Rifle's tapered barrel split open before several shots were discharged from its main barrel, and the burning sensation that the Signal Tower's true form felt with each shot was so intense that it gyrated violently several times.
As it shook in pain, the Brave used this as an opportunity to boost in for a close range assault. Once it was close enough, the unit reached for its right Side Binder with its left arm and pulled out a handle of sorts. The few eyes that were staring at the unit could only widen in shock when a Beam Sword was emitted from the handle the Brave had pulled out, though within seconds, they were quick to squeeze shut in pain when the unit slashed at its fleshy mount of a body, giving it a massive gash all the while.
"You, an eldritch god?! You are unfit to even be considered a Gundam!" taunted Graham as the Brave flew into the air and fired at the Signal Tower with the GN Cannons on its Side Binders. The relatively low powered Beam Shots were still able to rip into the fleshy mound and injure it greatly as it jirated in pain, and when it sent several tendrils up to swat the Brave out of the air, it found that the unit was simply too fast to catch as it was able to maneuver around fast enough to avoid being snagged.
Several more shots found their marks on the mound of flesh before the Signal Tower began to lose its patience. Never before had it faced someone as powerful as Graham Aker, much less the Brave Commander Test Type. In the past hundred, maybe even thousand, of time loops, the Signal Tower had only faced humans, normal humans mind you, humans that were mostly children! And though they were powerful in their own right, these humans tended to be easily dealt with.
In a rage, the Signal Tower let out a roar of anger that echoed through the entirety of the Pale City before it began to attack Graham Aker more aggressively. It began to fire off powerful signal bursts at random, focing the Brave to evade more frequently as it flipped around in a truly sporadic manner, though before long, it was hit by a signal burst that caused it to be blanketed in smoke, much to the Tower's glee as it gyrate with pleasure.
Yes, this was good! The man(?) may have been able to survive being hit by the powerful signal burst, but there was no way that the machine could… wait, what was that…?
The sound of the Brave's GN Drive Taus still being active was more than enough to tell the Signal Tower that it was not destroyed, not yet, as, within seconds, the Brave Commander Test Type emerged from the smoke that once surrounded it. However, when it emerged, it appeared… different. Its arms and legs were bent backwards in an awkward position as its Beam Rifle was attached onto its abdomen, giving it an airplane sort of look…
… and as his Brave unit burst out of the smoke in its flight form, Graham Aker couldn't help but smile widely as he glared at the Signal Tower.
"Heh, it didn't even scratch the Brave's paint!" taunted Graham as he circled the Brave around and opened fire on the Signal Tower once more. The GN Cannons on the unit's Side Binders alongside its Drake Howling Beam Rifle 'nosecone' all simultaneously opened fire on the fleshy beast as the Brave closed in on it, with the Mobile Suit dodging left and right whenever necessary in order to avoid the occasional signal bursts that came from the Tower.
Once it was close enough, the Signal Tower launched a tendril out at the Brave, though at the very last second, the unit performed a barrel roll towards the left, in turn avoiding the tendril with relative ease. In the middle of performing the evasive maneuver, however, a small blade-like armement sprung out of the Brave's Side Binder, allowing it to slash at the Signal Tower's side as it passed it, and though it was not a Beam weapon, the physical 'Side Binder Blade' still tore apart the Signal Tower's side rather thoroughly.
Mere seconds after the blade folded itself back into the Brave's Side Binder, Graham shifted his unit's center of gravity and forced it to perform a frontflip. As it did so, the veteran transforming pilot shifted the Brave from flight into Mobile Suit mode and had it fire at the Signal Tower with all its armaments before boosting backwards as the mound of flesh was clouded in smoke.
"How sloppy!" taunted Graham as he boosted up into the air to stare down at the clearing smoke that surrounded the Signal Tower. As he did so, the pilot sighed a little as he glanced down at Mono, and he, admittedly, felt a little apologetic when he saw that the child seemed rather pale… "Ah, I… seem to have overextended a little. Are you well, Mono?"
No response from the boy as he mumbled unintelligible things behind his borrowed helmet. Graham, admittedly, felt a little bad as he patted Mono's back, though as he did so, a screen appeared on the Brave's on board cockpit screen.
"Yes, Graham Aker. you did overextend it. Look at the poor child, he's practically frothing at the mouth!" chastised an unfamiliar voice to Mono as he turned his attention up towards the newly activated cockpit screen. The motion sickness that the boy was experiencing was quick to fade away, however, when he realized who was on screen, and at that, he yelled out in fear as bad memories resurfaced in his mind.
"Y-You! IT'S YOU!" proclaimed Mono as he scrambled back on Graham's lap. The guy on the screen looked just as he remembered. Immaculately dressed in a purple suit and tophat, the aptly named Thin Man was staring over at Graham Aker with a rather irritated expression as he kept his arms crossed, though his gaze turned towards Mono after hearing his voice, prompting him to sigh.
"Yep. It's me, Mono. Or… uh… I guess it's you? You do remember the time loop, right? The Tower keeps telling us about it before repressing our memories after we break, after all," quipt the Thin Man through the screen as he tipped his hat awkwardly. Mono nodded in response in a similarly awkward manner as he tapped his fingers together.
"Y-Yeah… I remember the time loop… and… I… I'm sorry about-" began Mono, frowning deeply behind his helmet as he stared at the Thin Man, though to his surprise, the guy waved him off with relative ease before cutting him off.
"Meh no harm done. I did the same in my time loop anyways. Besides, you killing me gave me the chance to meet Mr Graham Cracker over here," assured the Thin Man, piqueing Mono's interest as the child stared up at Graham with curiosity. Smiling a little at that, Graham seemed ready to explain, though before he could do so, the systems in the Brave's cockpit flashed red, prompting its pilot to perform an immediate evasive maneuver mere seconds before a signal burst could hit him.
"Our conversation shall have to wait, Shonen, Thin Man!" proclaimed Graham as he turned his attention back to the mound of flesh. It was in an incredibly damaged state at this point, with its entire 'body' shifting up and down as it 'breathed' in heavily. Seeing that this was his chance to eliminate the eldritch abomination, Graham found himself smiling as he boosted backwards to avoid being struck by another signal burst.
"It looks… weak," commented Mono as he stared at the mound of flesh hopefully. Likewise, the Thin Man smirked as he nodded.
"Hell yeah! Kill that thing already!" urged the Thin Man as he smiled at Graham, and at that, the Solbrave Commander's smile simply widened as he clenched the fists of his Brave unit and boosted it down towards the Signal Tower's weakened form at full speed.
"Ask and you will receive! Mono, Thin Man, PREPARE YOURSELVES!"
And with that, the Brave's formerly blue chassis became a bright red as the yellow luminescent scar on the right side of its visor became more noticeable.
"TRANS-AM!"
And when it saw the Brave unit approach it at three times its regular speed, the weakened Signal Tower groaned out in pain as it sent several more signal bursts towards the unit. In response to the signal bursts, the unit transformed into its flight mode and began rolling from side to side, expertly evading the Signal Tower's attacks as it fired at it with every one of its armements.
"The Brave shall now show its true potential!" proclaimed Graham via his unit's comm-links as its Drake Howling Beam Rifle and GN Cannons on its Side Binders pelted the Signal Tower's fleshy body relentlessly whilst the unit itself rolled from side to side with every barrage, and once it was close enough, the Brave fired off four GN Missiles from its lower legs before it transformed, unsheathed its Beam Saber from its Side Binder with its left hand unit and boosted towards the Signal Tower in Mobile Suit form.
Not even a second after the GN Missiles impacted the Signal Tower's fleshy body, the Brave appeared before it and made use of its momentum to slash at it with the Beam Saber, giving the fleshy mount a massive gash. After twisting its body and slashing at the fleshy mound once more, the unit boosted upwards before descending back down and slashing at the Signal Tower four more times from multiple angles before boosting into the air in a zigzag motion and firing down at the eldritch monster with all of its small armaments.
"The pheasant would not be shot but for its cries!" taunted Graham, with him making use of an old phrase from his Bushido days as his unit pelted the Signal Tower with its chest and forearm vulcans. Likewise, its GN Cannons folded forwards and blasted the fleshy pile of flesh several times before the Mobile Suit abruptly transformed and charged headfirst towards the Signal Tower.
As it got closer, the Drake Howling Beam Rifle nose cone began to charge up a massive amount of energy as strings of GN particles emerged from its Side Binders and connected with the tapered tip of the rifle. Once enough power had been charged up, the Brave fired off its Tri-Punisher, which tore a massive hole in the Signal Tower's fleshy frame when it impacted it.
Not long after the powerful beam blast tore through the Signal Tower, the Brave Commander Test Type boosted past it, though before it got more than a kilometer away from the fleshy mound, the unit suddenly transformed. Its arms and legs folded outwards as its Side Binders abruptly shifted in the opposite direction, causing the GN Drive Taus to face forces and abruptly halting the Brave in mid air as its Drake Howling Beam Rifle remained attached to its chest.
"They call this…!" began Graham Aker as the Drake Howling's barrel began to charge up a tremendous amount of power. And, not even a second later, the Brave boosted backwards at tremendous speed, and thereafter, it removed the Beam Rifle from its chest, held it in its left hand and fired off a powerful sustained Beam Blast that destroyed anything that it struck. The gerobi struck the ground as the Brave trailed it towards the Signal Tower, obliterating the concrete beneath it all the while.
"THE GRAHAM SPECIAL!"
And by all means, that was the last thing the Signal Tower heard before the sustained Beam Blast struck its body, promptly dissolving it into nothing as the Brave Commander Test Type stared down at its handiwork for less than a few seconds before it turned around and boosted up into the air.
"Who knew that being useful to someone could bring one such joy?!"
In response to the comment… well… there was no response, really. Neither the Thin Man, via the cockpit's holographic screen, nor Mono could even say anything as they stared at him in utter shock as they kept their mouths agape.
Confused, Graham Aker raised a brow as he stopped boosting his Mobile Suit. The unit stopped right above the atmosphere as it hovered directly above the clouds, with it remaining afloat thanks to its GN Drive Taus, and as it remained there, its pilot glanced at its two charges in a mildly worried manner.
"Are you two well?" asked Graham, only for Mono to shift up and look him directly in the eye. He nearly hit him in the head with the helmet in the process, though thankfully enough, the pilot jerked his head back and managed to avoid that.
"WELL?! WELL?! WE'RE BETTER THAN WELL!" proclaimed Mono with a wide smile on his face as he stared at Graham with stars in his eyes. Similarly, the Thin Man appeared to be just as enthusiastic as his younger counterpart was, though he was more reserved with his emotions as he simply stared at Aker with intrigue. "A-AND… THAT ATTACK! YOU… TURNED RED! YOU ATTACKED THE SIGNAL TOWER LIKE A CHAMP… YOU… YOU…!"
And at that, something came to both Mono and the Thin Man's minds as they felt something rise in their chests.
"You…"
"You…"
"You destroyed the Signal Tower…!"
