Prologue: Crimson
Bending down in front of the door she gently tore open the letter and rolled her eyes at the writing, yet another reminder of her distinct past. She licked her lips, painted a bright crimson colour as her now black hair fell over her face like a curtain covering herself from the view of others. She was safe here, immensely safe. Safe from the people who would judge her. Granted she did nothing wrong but either way, she had served time for a crime she didnt commit and that would be enough to taint someone.
Carla's mind hung on to every word of the letter as she read it over and over, her face warranting no emotion but in her head was a different story, she was worried about the state of Peter's mind, after losing Aidan she knew that feeling. She had been there herself and if Peter was feeling that low she really did feel guilty for disappearing off the face of the earth. She knew she had to do something so she placed the letter into her bag walked into the bathroom, coated her eyes in thick mascara with strokes of eyeliner. Her eye shadow was dark, greys and black blending in with each other.
After she had finished she walked into the room collected a small bag of clothes that would make do not that she had much anyway and made her way into the living room picking up her passport. Carla glances at the helmet that was on the side, she picked it up and covered her head with it and then she was off, she wasn't going to look back now.
Before she left, she rolled her eyes and picked up the black leather jacket, she put it on and made sure it fit securely covering her crimson red chiffon which she specifically wore to match the colour of her lipstick.
To finalise she stood in the mirror taking n her appearance, the tight skinny jeans, the boots on her feet and the leather jacket teamed with her red top. She smirked knowing she was more than ready to face the music now.
