''Okay, Six, first take a deep breath...'' He tried to calm himself with deep breaths, but it only worked little.
''Wait, my pipboy can show me my location.'' Courier quickly raised his left arm and opened his pipboy's map. But when he clicked on world map to see where he was, but it was empty.
''What am I gonna do now?'' Courier started thinking about what he has to do;
First, he needs a shelter that can protect him from the cold.
He pulled out his trusted .44 revolver, grabbed it with his left hand, and started to walk inside the forest.
While he was walking: he was still thinking about where he was.
He was not in the wasteland anymore, which was apparent because of several reasons.
The first reason is his environment looked 'alive' back in the wasteland, the only place he saw snow was on the mountains of Jacobstown.
'Well, I am definitely not in the Jacbostown.' Courier thought as the weather started getting colder and colder.
'At this rate, I am going to freeze to death...' Courier started shivering because of the cold.
While walking, he constantly checked his pipboy's compass to ensure there was nothing alive except the plants and trees.
He walked and walked, and he couldn't find anything, even a single living animal.
'Damn, this is getting hopele-' his thoughts cut short when he felt something moving, and it was big.
'What hell should I do now? My right arm is crippled.' He readied himself for battle, and a giant snowball crashed down to the tree next to him.
He ran towards a rock to use it as a cover while he was looking around at what just attacked him a giant gorilla-like monster with a horn on its forehead entered his vision.
Its entire body was almost entirely covered in a white fur except for its face, chest, and inner arms that were left bare, its bare skin was red, and with its yellow eyes, with a predatory gaze, he roared at the Courier and charged towards him.
''OH SHIT.'' Courier yelled as he barely dodged the rampaging demon gorilla's arms, he quickly aimed his revolver and fired towards the beast, he fired his revolver two times on towards its chest bullets ripped thru the thick fur of the gorilla and injured him, but that just made it angrier, the beast made another snowball and threw it towards the courier, Courier Six threw himself to the ground to dodge the snowball, he activated his vats and aimed its head, he fired three-times all three of them hitting its head and killing it.
''Oww, killing mutants is hard with non-functioning right arm.'' Courier complained.
'Well, I guess I have left as soon as possible, or I can die here.'
Courier reloaded his revolver and left the corpse of the demon gorilla.,
After walking for a good twenty minutes, he saw a gray smoke rising in the distance, and he started walking towards there quickly as he can.
When he arrived at the village, villagers looked at him with a little bit of fear and caution, which courier didn't take any offense, after all, a guy with a blooded overcoat plus a helmet with glowing red eye sockets did look intimidating.
He raised his left arm and said, ''You guys don't have to worry, I am just a courier.'' Courier Six lied as naturally as he breathed. ''I got lost and came here to buy a map.'' Which was the half-truth, and for ''buying a map'' he was going to try to scam them with legion money.
Hearing his words, villagers relaxed a bit, but they were still cautious of him.
One of the villagers called out to him, ''Well then, Mr. Courier follow me to my shop, you can buy a map there.''
Courier nodded at him and started following the shop owner.
It was a small shop entrance of the shop was covered with a curtain, when they entered the shop man started rummaging thru his stuff searching for a map.
While he was searching for a map Courier asked him a question:
''Do you know a giant gorilla with a horn on its forehead?''
''Yes, If my memory is correct, their species are called Snow Blight, they are very dangerous, I advise you to stay away from them.'' The shopkeeper said.
''How much are they dangerous?'' Courier asked with a curious tone.
''From what I know besides their incredible strength, they are skilled in throwing massive snowballs and crushing their enemies from afar.''
''Thanks for the info.''
After a minute or two shopkeeper finally found a map and gave it to the Courier.
''It will be seven silver coins.'' Shopkeeper said.
Courier put his bag down and pulled seven legion denarius and gave them to him.
''Oh, sorry, but this currency isn't acceptable here.'' The shopkeeper said to him.
''So you don't accept this currency, eh?'' Courier asked man, making him gulp in fear.
''I-I am sorry, but this currency isn't acceptable in Lugunica.'' The man said with slight fear in his tone.
''Well, then how about I give you these gold coins'' Courier pulled a two Legion Aureus. ''I hope you will accept them they are quite valuable after all... and if you can find someplace you exchange these for lugunican currency.'' Courier was looking at the man intensely with his glowing red eye sockets.
''Y-Yes, I will gladly accept them, Mr. Courier.'' The shopkeeper let out a very nervous laugh.
''Thanks for your kindness, and can you please show me where I am right now?'' Courier opened the map he bought.
The shopkeeper pointed to a white area with trees and said, ''This is where you are right now, this forest is called the forest of eternal frost Elior Forest.''
''Thanks, oh, one more thing do you know where I can find an experienced doctor?'' Courier asked.
The shopkeeper pointed over a large city ''This place is the Capital of Lugunica, if you can't found a healer there, I doubt you can find anywhere else in Lugunica.''
''Thank you for your kindness you helped me tremendously, when I get paid, I will come back here and give you the money you deserve.'' Courier tried to sound convincing as possible, and thanks to his smooth tongue, he was successful.
''Have a safe journey, Mr. Courier.''
Courier gave him a nod and left the shop while he was leaving the Elior Village, he noticed people were still looking at him as if he was some alien.
'For the love of Bear and the Bull why are they still looking at me, I don't look that weird.''
And Courier of the wastes started his journey towards the Capital.
