"Do you want to talk about our lord and saviour All might?"

As Elaina watched her neighbour from her own balcony, she had to resist the urge to smack him on the head.(not that she could) "You develop a quirk and that's the first thing that comes out of your mouth?"

Izuku standing on his own balcony and making a show of balancing the rod on a finger while actually controlling it said,"Well I didn't want to make a big deal of it. I know I hated it when kachan went yabber-yammer-"he stuttered but gained his composure momentarily" kept talking about his quirk."

"Oh I know what my quirks going to be." Replied Elaina. "Really? How come?". Elaina continued,"All people in my family develop the quirk 'witch'. Its only the matter of quality."

Izuku just burst up in excitement" You belong to the White haired witches?". Elaina didnt look bothered by his excitement but inwardly she was shocked a 4 year old boy even knew about her clan. Well she was 4 years old too but she belonged to it. "You know of it?"

If possible Izuku's eyes developed stars and if she didn't see the rod floating above Izuku like a satellite without gravity she would have thought it was his quirk.

"Not much, but the last wizard hero trained All might. His name was gran torino and he taught all might when all might was in U.A". Then started a tirade about all might and his most recent escapades and Elaina realised this is exactly what she was trying to stop in the first place. 'boys', she thought.

Recognising what ammunition to use against the boy she started,"Ah, sora-jiji". As she expected all noise from Izuku stopped in a second. "You know him?" asked Izuku hopefully. "Of course I know him, hes my grandpa."

The stars in his glimmered and the rod above him started its own little dance. "So he'll be visiting?"

"Pretty soon probably, has to check the house for security measures annoying jiji." Elaina looked at Izuku again and saw him gripping the rails really tightly as if holding himself back. "Yes I'll invite you so you can meet him."

Then izuku joined his rod in the cute little dance at which she had to let out a giggle. Sue her it was hilarious. "So finally getting back to it. What happened with quirk doctor?"

Screwing up his face to remember every detail Izuku started,"The doctor was creepy. He took my blood and tried to poke at my rod which still feels weird. Then he started praising me about how it was a quirk for heroes as he could see its offensive possibilities. Then he said that while I have one of the more powerful quirk factory-no- factor he's seen its not versatile enough to be dependant on for a pro hero and if want to be a pro hero I will have to devel-develop skills like martial arts". Elaina was impressed by the amount he remembered. Maybe the boy was smarter that he acted.

"Then he said something about sensations and stuff but I don't remember all that". Elaina adopted a deadpan look 'Nope just a pro hero fanboy'.

"He also said I have to name it myself and that I can choose whatever until the end of the week." Finished Izuku. He felt weird for talking for so long with someone except his mom that didn't tell him he was annoying so he let the silence sit for a moment. Elaina mistook his silence for an end in conversation and began to retire to her room. "Goodbye."

And so he watched her leave never to see her again… until the next morning as he began to set off to school. Outside his door he saw both Elaina and her mother beginning to go somewhere and Elaina wearing what looked like his school's uniform. Rod floated behind as he was too stunned to speak suddenly 'she looks cute' . Elaina grew red and her mother let out a womanly laugh, "It seems I'll have to protect my sweet little Elaina from boys already"

Inko joined her in the teasing as she let herself out of the apartment and locked it behind her. "Zuku here has inherited my husband stuttering".'And his ability to attract women ' she didn't say.

"Elaina will be joining you for Izuku-chan, be good friends with her." Nikeh(Elaina's mother) said.

"Yes ma'am" said Izuku, forgetting his embarrassment at muttering for the prospect of having a friend at school.

The walk was too awkward. Izuku thought he had made Elaina mad and was overthinking already "she wont be my friend and I'll be alone again and no one will talk to me and ill never make friends and then I'll die alone…"

Bonk

"oww". "Will you stop that! You're sending off depressing waves" Elaina exclaimed annoyed at the boy. She decided on a change of topic,"So have you thought of a name yet?"

"oh yes, what about rod?". Bonk

"stick" Bonk

"tube" Bonk

And off they went

Ive decided this is how long I can keep a chapter. Pathetic I know, but I will persist and ensure that this keeps going. Ive recovered from the covid infection and will be writing faster now(like really fast, sonic if you will).
