After getting home the cat girl mostly stayed on my couch and from what she told me her people thought humans were a myth, until a couple of years ago when they started receiving some signals from our side.

Somehow they managed to get a signal from our internet to something they called the web lines, which are powered by magic.

Unfortunately, the signals they received couldn't be changed and so the only signals they received were from a webpage that only showed hentai.

"Okay, let me explain a couple of things for you," I said to the catgirl who kept her guard up

"You are the first cat person I have ever seen," I said to her but the look she's giving me just screams I don't believe you

You know what this isn't getting me anywhere, I might as well mess with her while she is here.

"Look, we all decided that we cant sleep with everything that we're attracted to because we would go extinct."

"There I said it, are you happy now?" I said to her with a faked frustrated tone

"Besides we've had our hands full with everything that's happened over the millions of years," I said to her as I handed her a copy of Warhammer 40k

"Like what?" she asks me with genuine interest

"See we had a couple of interstellar empires, I'm not sure but the last one barely managed to keep us alive long enough for us to be able to hit the reset button," I said to her as I showed her the image of the god-emperor of mankind, next to it was the introduction to Warhammer 40k

I could barely keep my face straight as I watched her read every line out loud.

"Then all of the gods tied to destroy us somewhere along the line, by the way, how did your people manage to win your judgment?" I asked her knowing full well she wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about

"The same way as you humans" she answered me quickly

I took the Warhammer book away from her and handed her a manga of the Epic of Ragnarok, and I watched her as she read the entire book, then I handed her three more.

"did this happen?" she asked me

"Oh yeah, we got to meet thor Buda beat the everliving daylights out of a bunch of gods and, in the end, we humans won"

"So tell me were your gods just as bad as ours," I said to her and I noticed that she suddenly started sweating

"Ye- yeah," she said to me as the bell around her neck began to shine and suddenly she was gone

There was no point in me worrying about it, she was gone, her people probably figure out a way of getting her back home, and judging by how scared she was, she probably wasn't ever going to come back again.

Anyway, it's getting ate and I have work tomorrow.

[Elsewhere ]

"Your lucky that you didn't get impregnated by one of the humans," her teacher said to her

'Teacher I met a human" she answered her teacher as she removed her bell and a holographic recording of everything that she had learned appeared in front of everyone in her class as well as some of the mages

"Amazing, we knew that when our realities separated time would move differently but if what this record says it's true then the humans must have advanced in such a way unimaginable to us," one of the mages said

"Yes but remember what that male human said, this last empire barely managed to hold on until they could reverse the process of what occurred," another mage said to the first one

"Meaning that they must be going through are repeated rise and fall of their empire," the head mage said to her underlings

"What troubles me, is the other records, the details in the art means that this was a fairly recent event, but for the gods to want to destroy their creations and for their creations to gain the power to kill them"

"What exactly has been occurring in the other reality?" she added as the recording began to replay itself

"There is no peace amongst the stars, only an age of war and the laughter of the mad gods"

Then the video of the council of gods wanting to kill all of the humans played itself.

"I see," the cat goddess said as she looked at the video

"Perhaps it was a fragment of myself and the others, left behind when we left the earth"

"Regardless who are you?" she said as she looked at the skeletal form of the god-emperor

"I need to speak to Poseidon about this, we god's can't return to earth, that realm has moved on, but there are things we have to look into," the cat goddess said before vanishing

And just like that she lost her bell, the bell was an expensive item, it kept track of her location-, recorded everything she saw and translated peoples' languages for her and the mages had taken it from her before beginning to look at every detail it recorded.
