How about the GAR verses the SATO navy from CODIW.
A: No. I don't know this universe.
Q: From: TheRabbidRabbit This seems interesting. For Death Battle ideas, does it have to involve either ME or Halo on one side?
A: It can be, as I mentioned in the description, also factions from other universes. I just need to know them in advance. If you have any nice idea, give it to me. It could even be the Lord of the Ring vs Harry Potter universe

I've got a interesting recommendation, The Turian Havoc soldiers vs Elysian Drop Troops. Both specialize in air raid insertions and are remarkable in their skills of being agile units. One big aspect is that both rely on transport ships to jump out of over a target.
A:These are units, not factions, so no.
Q: From: TexasBrigade
I don't know if you don't know what the UNSC stands for in halo
or not, but it stand for United Nation Space Command. The didn't have broadswords Pre-Covenant war.
A:I didn't know, thanks. I also checked information about broadswords. You were right and I have already corrected it.
Q: From: FORGEMaster
Interesting idea, my suggestion would be the eternal empire from swtor vs
either the tau from warhammer or covenant from halo.
A: Your idea has been considered and selected this time.
Factions:
Empire from Star Wars (before the first attack on the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire)
Covenant from HALO (before the war with UNSC)
Eternal Empire a faction so powerful in Star Wars that after their raid, the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire united to defeat them. And they would not have succeeded, had it not been for the armor, internal fights and ancient superweapon made specially to destroy the Eternal Empire fleet.
Or the Covenant, a faction that ruled the galaxy and destroyed all opposition to its rule by force. They lost for a number of overlapping reasons. Death of all 3 religious leaders, civil war, infection by Flood and Master Chief (plot armor).
Which Faction, against which the only effective weapon was the armor, will win in this duel. Same rules as in the previous chapter, although much less if I use point two at all:
1. They are not allowed to reverse engineer the technology of the other party, but they can improve their own.
2. To fill the lack of knowledge about ships, we will use images made by independent artists (right to quote).
3. For this knowledge, and my own thoughts, we will calculate the number of ships, people, and so on (right to quote).
4. Both factions start with the same morale.
5. No other faction can intervene.
6. I will only focus on space battles.
Now that the rules are clear, let's do it.
Eternal Empire, a faction founded on the planet Zakuul by Emperor Valkorion, one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful dark Jedi in the history of the galaxy. It was under his rule that an ancient fleet of an ancient species was discovered. Larger than any fleet built up to this point in History. After taking over the fleet, he began expanding into Wild Space. After taking over a large number of territories, his sons persuaded him to lead a small raid to the lands of the Siths and the Republic. And at this point, Eternal Empire will start its fight against the Covenant. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and first explain what the armed forces of the Eternal Empire were.
The Eternal Empire fleet was made up almost entirely of the Eternal Fleet warship, the fastest ship of its era. Only ships equipped with the Isotope-5 could be equal to their speed. Each ship of this class had a camouflage device and was about 500 meters long. Equipped with shields and numerous turbolasers and rocket launchers.
Their greatest strength, however, was their crew - GEMINI. These were droids created by the creators of the fleet and later were taken over by the Eternal Empire, which also began producing them. They could communicate with each other faster than any organic being and move an entire fleet in perfect synchronization. Valkorion built a special throne, thanks to which he and only he could communicate with GEMINI droids, which allowed him to have complete control of the fleet.
Additionally, the entire fleet was self-sufficient thanks to Sun Generators.
Additionally, the ships were equipped with Skytroopers placed in boarding capsules.
So the strength had to be somewhere on the level:
Eternal Flagship
2500 Eternal warship
Hundreds of fighters and shuttles
Thousands of Shytroopers
Personally, I thought Eternal Empire would have more ships, but several people on the internet have reported a similar number. Additionally, taking into account the time when the fleet was built and the fact that it was built by a single race and found all on one planet, give just a plus or minus that number. Yet it is still an unimaginable force. Now it's time for the Covenant.
The Covenant is an interstellar religious empire made up of several different races, ruled by a tetrarchy and built on a caste system. And that leads us straight to a lot of problems. There is really nothing to be picky about when it comes to technology, other than the stagnation that comes from religion. The guys at Generation Films on YT even made a series about the weaknesses and strengths of Covenant, I'll give you a link at the bottom, but anyway, back to Covenant. As religion is a major part of the Covenant, they are religiously fanatical. On the one hand, it makes them practically unwavering morale, but because of the caste system, it only works for certain races. Additionally, this system can causes revolts on many ships. Another problem is that they fail to exploit the potential of their lower-caste citizens, while many of the higher-caste get everything just like that. But their space navy is no joke. Their SDV-class heavy corvette is 950 meters, or over 3000 ft, corvette.
Their technology is there unimaginably advanced and includes all kinds of plasma and energy weapons. Each of the Covenant soldiers has an energy shield, and the Sangheili have energy swords almost like a Jedi. Their ships can travel over 900 light-years a day, and they can make short, precise leaps within the system. But their communication is not encrypted at all. In addition, they have various masking systems, and their capital, if threatened, may simply move to another place. Unfortunately, we don't know the exact number of Covenant ships, we can only assume based on fractional information. In the previous Faction Death Battle, I posted a video explaining that the Covenant had sent about 2,000 ships to the UNSC at the start of the war. However, humanity was then not considered a threat to the Covenant, which later changed. They consider the 2,000 ships to be about 25% of the full Covenant Navy, which was also dispersed with other tasks such as patrolling, pirate hunting, Flood, and rebellion. We also have a bit different information on Covenant from various internet sources, so I am giving the Covenant Navy force at:
20 supercarrier
600 carrier
2000 cruisers
2400 frigate
3000 corvette
And no wonder that the UNSC could only delay the inevitable and count on a miracle. Had it not been for the Covenant Civil War, they would have been completely destroyed. Now for the comparison.
Although the Covenant uses cloaking technology, it is not as common as Eternal Empire. Additionally, while the Covenant ships are fast, the speeds of StarWars ships are unimaginably crazy. They never gave an exact number, but as far as I know, during the time of the Galactic Empire, they could reach speeds of several thousand light-years per day. Back in the Eternal Empire, they weren't that fast, but still definitely faster than the SlipSpace that Covenant use. Additionally, the ships of the Eternal Empire have a much better level of coordination than their counterparts.
By having shields in both worlds, and Plasma technology are rather inferior to Turbolaser technology, but with a greater range for some reason. I really have no idea how they scale it, but I will stay at about 1000 km for the ship and 2 km for the fighters. For the Covenant, this may be different, but rather it will be an average of 10,000 km, the maximum is 100,000 km, as far as I know. It depends on the amount of energy used, but they definitely have a longer range than turbolasers. At least turbolasers from this era. When it comes to boarding actions, it will be very even. Skytroopers are very good battle droids, and certainly better than B1 or even B2, but the Covenant has personal energy shields and plasma weapons.
I think a typical Covenant ship would be equal to a typical Eternal Empire if they had similar dimensions. Add to that the Covenant outnumbering and it looks like their quick victory. Unfortunately, the reality is not that easy. Because the Eternal Empire fleet has several significant advantages. For example, although it has a few times fewer ships, they can move in a much larger group without problems, so these 2,500 ships will easily outnumber the largest fleet assembled by the Covenant, which had some 800 ships. As many people probably guess it was High Charity Defense Fleet, the calculations were made by a Youtuber, link at the bottom, and I think so too.
Taking all this into account and what I mentioned earlier in the description, I think that Eternal Empire would win. Slightly, but still. I think so because the fight between them and the Covenant, thanks to much better speed, each ship has camouflage, perfect synchronization, and having the entire fleet in one place will allow you to gradually eliminate Covenant ships. After all, no ship can survive a simultaneous salvo from the appropriate number of smaller ships. Sure, the Covenant has a much bigger economy, a fleet and everything in general, but their political system doesn't help to take advantage of it. In Halo, mankind would have been defeated in less than 10 years if the Covenant had gone all the way against the UNSC, but underestimated them. Given the wisdom and knowledge of Valkorion, this should slow the Covenant's response considerably.
You can ask for specific faction death battle in comments, and I will try to do this, if I now universes enough. If somebody want to use it in his e.g. video, you can without question, just let link to this(like I did - right of quote).
