Nefarious had started to panic, maybe this wasn't a good idea, he could always just call her and tell her something came up and she couldn't come over tonight,

But at the same time she would never believe that, mostly due to the fact she knew his schedule by heart, he sighed feeling his anxiety starting to build up, as he laid on his couch," I can do this...I mean it's just dinner you have done this a hundred times before with her..."He said to himself, trying to convince himself that this was no different, though it was he still couldn't figure out what possessed him to do it,

Maybe the near Death experience of the last mission...or something else, but he had finally asked Elaris out on a date, and to his surprise she said yes,

He felt his phone Buzz against his chest and he quickly picked it up to see messages from her, with a bit of hesitation he opened the message," about to be at your place in like 7 minutes!!! Can't wait to see ya!,"

This triggered him to shoot off the couch, he whined a bit as he tried to think of what to say," oh. Okay I'll see you soon then and be careful." he texted her before putting his phone into his Jeans pocket,

He took a Deep breath trying to collect his thoughts, he couldn't really put together why he was so nervous, she had been over many times before, hell she had even stayed the night more then once,

Why did he feel so sick over this?

But he tried to push that thought out of his mind. As he tried to pick up the living room a bit, though his apartment was by no means a mess, it could definitely fall under disorganized

As there were half finished inventions, and sketchbooks everywhere, and the random empty coffee cup laying around,

This seemed to calm him a bit, as he was able to focus on cleaning, but his Focus was completely broken when he heard a knock at the Door,

He felt his heart stop for a moment and he gulped a bit as he called out," ER ONE SECOND!!,"

He placed his hands on the back of his neck for a moment, before quickly rushing to the Door, he stopped for a moment to look himself over. Just to make sure he looked halfway presentable, he had put on his light blue button up shirt, and his good glasses which in his opinion made him look less like a nerd,And a pair of dark purple Jeans,

He sighed softly and tried to flatten out his shirt before opening the door," H-hey Elaris,"

Elaris stood nervously her wild green eyes for once not covered, she had put on a black dress A bit above her knees, and it looked like she had tried to do her makeup a bit differently, as she looked a bit more sparkly then normal, well at least to Nefarious," hey!! Um I brought food!,"

She said with a smile as she showed off a brown bag.Which had the logo of their favorite takeout place, Nefarious quickly moved so she could come it," Aw Elaris you didn't have to do that,"

She chuckled as she walked him and giving him a bit of a look," oh yes I did, besides knowing you, probably having eaten yet today!,"

He was planning to protest this as he close the door, but then realized she was right," well..it's not my fault I got busy!"

She rolled her eyes as she placed the bag onto the countertop," mmhm sure is that why you barely texted me today?,"

Nefarious felt his cheeks go a bit pink as he looked to the floor for a moment," err w-well no..I have been a bit nervous about our date to be honest with you,"

She looked to him a bit confused as she walked over to him," Neff why?"

He found himself struggling to look over to her as he tried to think of a way to explain himself," I...Um well," he sighed," I just really like you and you have been one of my Closest friends, hell one of my only friends for so long now I just didn't want to mess it up with you..."

He crossed his arms tightly not really knowing how she would react, but within a few seconds he was shocked to find her putting her arms around him and pulling him into a hug," Nefarious that's so sweet!!,"

His face quickly went completely red, as well as the tips of his ears as she continued," your not going to mess up anything! I mean your my best friend to! I can't really think of anything you could do to make me not like you,"

Nefarious had no idea what to say, but he chuckled softly as he hugged her gently," thank you Elaris...I am sorry I got so Dramatic,"

She smiled at she looked up to him," don't be! It's kinda cute,"

Nefarious smiled nervously as the realization at she called him cute hit him,

They both stared at each other for a moment before Elaris Cleared her throat," w-well let's eat before the food goes cold!,"

Nefarious quickly released her and said," y-yeah that's probably a good idea!,"

Nefarious had noticed that she had started to blush as well, and he couldn't help but wonder if he should call her cute to, since well she was especially when she was yelling at someone...but yet again that was just his personal opinion,

Nefarious couldn't really think of anything else as they ate, maybe she would like it to, as he thought about how special it made him feel,

He looked over to her as she sat next to him on the couch," u-um Elaris..."

She looked over to him as she took a sip of her drink," Hmm?,"

He smiled softly at her as he said," y-you know your cute too right?,"

Her face turned a dark shade of purple as she struggled to hide the Smile forming on her face," hehe! Really?,"

Nefarious pushed up his glasses as he moved a bit closer to her," yes!! Why wouldn't you think that?,"

She shrugged as she placed her drink down," well i just didn't think I was,"

Nefarious was a bit confused by this but he sighed," well you very much are!!!,"

She placed her hands over her face for a moment, trying to keep herself from giggling, Nefarious smirked slightly as he continued," especially your giggle,"

She quickly placed her hands onto her lap for a moment as she looked over to him," are you trying to kill me??,"

He shrugged the soft smirk still on his lips,

She looked at him for a moment before leaning in and kissing him on the cheek," well it's working!,"

Nefarious completely froze up, as he felt his whole Body heat up," u-um hehehehe!!!!!," was all he could get out as he continued to try to process what happened,

Maybe this date was a good idea after all,
