Encounter at the Shrine in the Night
Towa has just arrived home from her new school as there weren't any problems thanks to her boyfriend Touta and brought out an item wrapped in a cloth as she takes it outside and use her superhuman strength in her legs to climb all the way at the top of the apartment building.
"(The moments when I feel most at peace is when I get to do this.)" Towa thought unwrapped the cloth revealing a katana.
"(The sword, Kikujūmonji, a national treasure. I heard if wielded by Ashikaga Yoshiteru.)" Towa thought recalled the history.
"Hey, Towa!" Touta appeared in front of her.
"Hey Touta, I take it you finished your homework before coming here." Towa guessed.
"Yep, totally finished all of them!" Touta said with a smug.
"All of them, you say." Towa leaned forward with the suspicious look in her eyes, staring at Touta intensely making her boyfriend sweat.
Touta tried to fight the intense stare from her girlfriend by pretending he doesn't notice it, but he can still feel the stare until he cracks in ten seconds flat.
"Okay, okay, I didn't finish all of them! Just some!" Touta confessed.
"Honestly, Touta. You should know better than to lie to your girlfriend." Towa said.
"I know, I'm sorry. Please forgive me!" Touta begged a little.
Towa giggles always finding Touta cute like a little kid and she enjoy seeing him like that and place his head on her lap.
"Just rest your little head there while I clean the Kikujūmonji." Towa said as she starts cleaning the blade with a cloth.
"Isn't that sword from the museum?" Touta asked.
"Yeah, I really how great this sword is from the ancient feudal era of Japan, and I'm really glad my parents were able to convince the museum let me hold it for a while." Towa smiled.
"You know, most girls would be into dolls or makeup along with pretty dresses, but you're more into deadly things like swords and the video game at my house." Touta pointed out.
"It's such an amazing sword that I am able to hold it with my own two hands." Towa looked at the sword amazes and all.
"I may not know much about swords and all, but if you feel happy about this one then I'm happy for you." Touta smiled which made Towa smile back.
Just as Towa was about to clean the sword again, her nose picked up a faint yet familiar scent as Touta have also picked up the scent too.
"Towa, your little sister, Mei is crying right now." Touta said.
"I know, something bad must be happening to her and it's coming from grandpa's shrine." Towa worried.
"Then we better get moving and fast." Touta said with a slight serious look on his face.
(Higurashi Shrine)
The five bullies from before, that were knocked down by Touta's dynamic entrance, are seen at the shrine with one of them watching over a little girl with an older woman and a short old man: these are Towa family such as Mei, the little sister. Ms. Higurashi, the grandmother, and the Grandpa Higurashi as the great grandpa.
"Don't cry, your big sister is coming to the rescue. So, you just sit back and relax." One of the bullies said sarcastically.
"Uh, big bro, don't you think this is going a little too far." The blonde bully asked concern.
"Come on, you idiots. If you want revenge, you got to go big or go home. Now, don't you guys go chickening out on me." The boss bully with a wooden sword smirked as the other bullies obey.
"Today is our lucky day, boys. We'll teach those two little brats what happens when they mess with your gang." The boss bully proclaimed.
"Is that right?" Towa asked sarcastically. She and Touta standing pass the red gate of the shrine.
"Why don't you try put those lessons into us then." Touta dared.
"Hi guys, how are you all doing?" Touta waved at the three tied up hostages.
"Touta, I don't think they're doing good right about now." Towa pointed out.
"Well, well, well, the pretty tough girl and the doggy freak is here. Now we can get this party started." The boss bully smirked.
"Hey! For your information, my ears and tail are wolf! Totally different from each other!" Touta snapped, he really doesn't like his ears and tail being mistaken for dog traits.
"You're missing the point of the insult." Towa deadpanned.
"Get them!" The Boss bully ordered and the other bullies charges at Towa and Touta.
"Let me take care of these guys, you can go after the boss." Touta suggested as he stretches his legs.
"Oh, that's so thoughtful of you." Towa smiled.
As the bully minions were only halfway to the couple, everything seems to have move slower around Touta like someone press the slow-motion button on reality and the wolf boy dashes at the bullies giving them each one punch and appeared behind them. A second later, the bullies have fallen on the ground unconscious from Touta's fast and strong hit that only Towa saw him like that.
"Wh-What the heck was that?!" The Boss bully gasped.
"Okay Towa, they guy is all yours." Touta said.
"Hold it!" The Boss bully shouted getting the couple's attention.
"It would seem you have gotten that we have hostages." The Boss bully pointed at Towa's family with the one bully with the green jacket holding a knife to Mei's throat.
"Oh, I must have miscounted." Touta surprised.
"Now, neither of you two better not move a muscle or else Towa's cute little sister may never be able to talk again." The Boss bully threatened.
"No, Mei…" Towa clutched her fist, feeling like she has found herself caught in a spider web and she might not be able to get out of there.
"Don't hold back, Towa." Touta said, snapping Towa out of her trouble thoughts.
"I know you made a promise to not reveal your true strength, but I think it's time why you hav always been merciful to them until now." Touta believed.
Towa gave herself a few seconds of thoughts on what her boyfriend said and remember the promise she made with her adopted father years ago, about not showing off her powers, but it looks like that promise can't be kept any longer for this.
"(Sorry, Father Sota. But I can't keep my promise to you anymore.)" Towa thought closed her eyes taking in a deep breath before opening them again.
Towa jump high and fast to the bully with the knife before anyone could react and lifts the green jacket bully by the neck of the shirt then threw him away with ease toward the other bullies who have just woken up.
"Huh? When did she…?" Before the Boss bully could finish her sentence, Towa dashed in front of them and swing her sword making a large cut hole on his shirt and sliced the glasses bully's baseball bat.
"So, tell me do you boys still think you can take on even one of us?" Towa asked pointing her sword at them.
"Holy Showing of Superhuman! She can't beat her!" The large round bully gasped.
"We're getting out of here!" The tall bully said as he and the other ran away.
"Cowards!" The glasses bully shouted at his so-called companions.
"If you guys want some more." Towa smirked.
"Towa, no! Don't fight!" Mei begged.
"Don't worry about her, Mei. We all know how strong your big sister is when it comes to fighting." Touta smirked.
"You stupid head!" Mei kicked Touta on the shin even though it didn't do anything to him.
"You're supposed to be her boyfriend! Boyfriends are the ones who should be doing all the fighting, not the girlfriends, and if she keeps fighting then she'll never do cute girly things she deeply wants to!" Mei cried in anger and sadness, making Towa shock and Touta confuse.
"That's weird, Towa told me herself that she really hates doing those girly stuff like wearing the stupid dresses that gets in the why of her walking because of the skirts, and the makeup are idiotic to her, and playing with dolls are a huge waste of time to her." Touta blurted out the things Towa said to him before.
"Touta!" Towa gasped.
"What?! Then that means the dress I brought for you last year on Christmas, you actually hate it?!" Mei said sadden.
"No, no, no, no, it's nothing like that! The dress was pretty and all." Towa tried to come up with an excuse.
Meanwhile, the Boss bully and Glasses bully just stand there feeling like they have been completely forgotten and decided to leave when they heard police sirens closing in thinking someone called the cops on them. But that wasn't the case the two police cars were only passing by for patrol or something.
"Dumm, dummy." Mei cried as Touta kneels down for eye-to-eye contact.
"Listen Mei, I know you don't like fighting and all. But Sometimes when things gets rough, we have to stand up for ourselves and we don't fight because it would cause trouble, but to protect those we care a lot for and that what makes us stronger. I'm sure you'll understand that someday." Touta said while petting Mei's head.
"Whatever, just be sure to not make my big sister cry or else you'll get a hard lesson from me." Mei warned.
"Promise." Touta nodded as Towa comes in and hugs Mei.
Suddenly Towa's nose picks up a strange scent coming close like at the tree of the shrine and the strangest part is that it smells familiar to her somehow.
(With Setsuna)
Nighttime has come and Setsuna is still riding with Hisui on Kiara as they are still being chase by Mistress Three-Eye who wants the Gold Rainbow Pearl from the Demon Slayer girl.
"Okay, I think we lead her far enough away." Hisui believed.
"Hisui, I'm getting off here." Setsuna said.
"Are you sure?" Hisui asked concern.
"It's following me for the pearl in my right eye. I'll use that to my advantage." Setsuna planned and jumps off Kiara.
"You can't escape!" Mistress Three-Eye charged at Setsuna.
"Cyclone Burst!" Setsuna twirled her Kanemitsu no Tomoe around fast to create a massive cyclone of wind that pulled the demon woman in and the wind is doing damage to her.
"How dare you!" Mistress Three-Eye screamed in pain.
"I am Setsuna. These are the only words I have for you, I am the reason you will die tonight." Setsuna declared.
"Crimson Dragon Wave!" A crimson dragon aura suddenly appeared and destroy the Cyclone Burst freeing the demon woman.
"What the…" Setsuna turned around to see Moroha being the culprit for the attack.
"Sorry, Setsuna, I know you want to take her down, but I got first dips." Moroha said.
"Ridiculous." Setsuna grunted before jumping at centipede demon woman but got caught instead.
"Come to me, my lovely gold pearl." Mistress Three-Eye used her demonic power to force the gold pearl out from Setsuna's right eye and into her mouth.
"Damn, she took the gold pearl too." Moroha shocked.
"The demonic power from those pearls are already mixing in with my own. It feels so sweet!" Mistress Three-Eye transformed into a more demonic look and squeezing Setsuna with her lower body as she struggles to break free.
"It looks like the Red and Gold Rainbow Pearl have made old three-eye even stronger now." Moroha excited for this fight.
"Don't worry, I'll be right over to get you out of there, Setsu!" Moroha called out.
"Stop calling me that!" Setsuna said, not liking the nickname.
However, during all of this the Scared Tree behind Moroha suddenly glow brightly blue along with a demonic eerie voice.
"It's been a decade since I sensed a Rainbow Pearl, and two of them are here!" The rainbow mist vortex appeared with a power suction pull. "By the power of the Tree of Ages, I return to this world!"
"What is that?" Moroha asked.
Instead of answers, Moroha got sucked into the vortex along with Setsuna and Mistress Three-Eye into parts unknown.
(With Touta and Towa's Adoptive Family)
"Towa, you felt it too, from the tree?" Touta asked as he looks at the tree.
"Yeah, the scent is getting stronger too." Towa nodded as she gets Mei to her grandma and great grandpa.
Towa and Touta prepare themselves as the rainbow mist vortex appeared at the tree and out came Mistress Three-Eye with Setsuna still trap and Moroha who was holding onto the tail.
"That's something you don't see every day." Grandpa Higurashi surprised.
"I know that light, I remember. That unbelievably bright place from my memories, and this scent… Setsuna!" Towa screamed that her long-lost little twin sister is here.
"Whoa, that's awesome! You finally found your sister, that is the coolest!" Touta cheered.
"What… who is calling my name?" Setsuna confused.
"Why do I feel so weak? It is because I went through the Rainbow Portal?" Moroha groaned, then she finds herself in the arms of a young boy.
"You look you went through a marathon, don't worry. You'll be just fine with me around." Touta smiled.
"(Whoa, this guy looks a little cool.)" Moroha thought blushed a tiny bit, then noticed his scent.
"Wait, are you a" Moroha's sentence was cut off when Mistress Three-Eye laughed loud of insanity.
"This is perfect! The Silver Pearl is here as well, now I'll have each for my beautiful eyes!" Mistress Three-Eye smiled evilly.
"Setsuna, I'll save you!" Towa jumped at Mistress Three-Eye to slash at the shoulder, but to her surprise the katana broke in half, and the broken blade lands near Touta.
"Impossible! This thing broke my Kikujūmonji?!" Towa gasped.
"The hell are you talking about? This ain't no Kikujūmonji, it's a total knock off. I mean look at it, the blade pattens are completely wrong." Moroha claimed truly since she knows some blacksmithing herself.
"Oh, so you're saying it's a fake." Touta seemed to understand that much.
"A fake?!" Towa shocked.
"Give it me! I want the Silver Rainbow Pearl you have in your possession, hand it over!" Mistress Three-Eye demanded as she lets go of Setsuna.
"I… can't move." Setsuna groaned.
"Silver Pearl, what are you talking about?" Towa confused.
"GIVE IT TO ME!" Mistress Three-Eye charged at Towa to ram her down to take the pearl by force.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Touta jumped in front of Mistress Three-Eye and stopped right in her track with one hand between the three eyes.
"Holy Human Wall! You stopped her with just one hand!" Moroha gasped surprise.
"Towa, I think it's about time you unleash your demon power." Touta said while kept the large demon woman in place.
"My demon power, now?" Towa asked.
"Yeah, just like my mom taught you. Look deep within yourself and unleash the power that is bursting all this time wanting to come out." Touta said before he gave Mistress Three-Eye a powerful uppercut.
"Okay, you got it." Towa nodded and closed her eyes while holding her broken katana.
"This monster broke my Kikujūmonji, and hurt Setsuna. I won't let you… get away with this!" Towa's left eye glowed silver and blue demonic power is unleashed into the broken katana making a new blade of light.
"And she said she wasn't a fan of Star Wars." Touta smiled.
Towa jumped high and thrust her Demon Energy Blade right through the large demon woman on the chest to the back, she pulls back her sword as Mistress Three-Eye groans and twitches in pain.
"Wow, I really did it!" Towa surprised.
"Hey, don't just stand there. Finish her off!" Moroha shouted as the demon is not dead yet.
"I got this." Touta sprinted around the demon woman at high speed and teared the lower body into pieces, then jump above the head to throw a strong punch right through the skull killing it for good.
"He's so strong." Setsuna amazed.
"Let's me help you up." Touta offered as he walks up to here.
"I don't need help." Setsuna refused the help, but Touta just grabs her.
"Even the strongest warrior needs help from time to time." Touta stated as he helps Setsuna.
"Setsuna!" Towa called out running up to her.
"Who are you?" Setsuna asked, confuse of this girl.
"What? It's me, Towa. Your twin sister, we've known each other when we were little kids." Towa explained, but it doesn't look like Setsuna recognizes her at all.
"Man, I don't want to go through that again. At least I can finally move now." Moroha cheered.
Then the body of Mistress Three-Eye disintegrated leaving nothing but its skeleton and two of the Rainbow Pearls return to Moroha and Setsuna.
"I think things have just gotten a whole lot awesome from now on!" Touta wrapped one arm around Towa.

Touta and Towa sure went through a dangerous day: dealing with the bullies that took Towa's family hostage having to defeat a strong demon that was powered up by two Rainbow Pearls, and now Towa has finally been reunited with her twin sister, Setsuna though it doesn't feel like the reunion she was hoping for.
