1- A New Beginning.
It was a peaceful day at the Kanto region: the flying pokémon flew across the field like always and peace and calm ruled the entire area. The only sign of notable movement was a red and yellow 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 driving at high speed down the road. It looked like no one was driving it, but it was driving well, and it seemed to be having a conversation with someone else.
"So there I am on a lookout when out of nowhere these high red and blue beams light up my rearview. And then it hits me: I'm illegally parked." The car seemed to say, with a young male voice.
"Another parking ticket?" A woman voice asked at the other side of the dialogue, right on another region.
"Better, the boot."
"Big metal tire clamp, impossible to remove."
"Bingo. So the local Officer Jenny do her thing and I let them get all the way down the block. That's when I kick off my new shiny shoe, and BANG!"
"Cerulean City's finest soil themselves."
"You know me Arcee: mess with Hot Rod…"
"…and you'll know how to feel hot." Arcee finished, making Hot Rod laugh.
Arcee was a pink Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle, driving down another road with a hologram form of a woman driving the vehicle.
"Not sure how that complies with Autobot rule number one: keep a low profile." Arcee pointed.
"What can I say? Patrolling for energon out here in dullsville gets lonesome. It makes me miss him and the others, and almost makes me miss the Decepticons." Hot Rod admitted.
"Like Goldenrod City is a party, we're alone wherever we travel on this rock, Hot."
Suddenly, Hot Rod's terminal started to show something in his radar.
"I'm getting a signal." He reported.
"Need backup?" Arcee asked
"Do I ever need backup?" Hot Rod answered as he changed course right to where the signal was.
It only took him a few seconds to arrive to a crater, full with giant blue crystals.
"I just found a whole lot of energon."
Suddenly, a giant shadow covered the entire area as the ground started to shake. Hot Rod transformed into robot form.
"Decepticons."
Right on top of him was a huge dark purple and black sinister starship ended in spikes in the front part. By its appearance it was clear that it was a warship. The Decepticons' main warship: the Nemesis. And as soon as it arrived, one of its turrets fired at Hot Rod, sending him flying inside the crater. Next, the bottom hanger opened and a lot of robots descended right where the Autobot was in first place. These robots also looked like they could turn into vehicles, but these were purple and black, and all have red visors instead of eyes. There was no doubt that they were Decepticon soldiers.
"Arcee, about that backup, I might reconsider my choice." He said to Arcee before turning at the newcomers. "You came to ruin my day? Because you're going to regret it."
Hot Rod changed back to vehicle form and drove toward his adversaries, fast enough to jump so high that allowed him to change form again and fall toward the Decepticons ready to fight. Meanwhile, Arcee contacted with a red and blue semi-trailer truck, which was driving in the Unova region.
"Arcee at Optimus, the Cons are back. Hot Rod might be neck-deep in scrap."
"Understood." A profound male voice confirmed from inside the truck, through a com-link. "Ratchet, do you have Hot Rod's coordinates?"
The truck communicated with an orange and white ambulance, which was driving in Snowpoint City.
"I'm locked on his signal, Optimus. But our team is scattered across different regions." A mature voice reported inside the vehicle.
Optimus started calling his team members.
Arcee at Goldenrod City, Johto. "Arcee."
A brown M1 tank at Lavaridge Town, Hoenn. "Warpath."
A white, red and green Lancia Fenomenon Stratos Sports Car at Mandarin Island. "Wheeljack."
A grey and red Chevrolet Corvette StinGray Concept at Canalave City, Sinnoh. "Sideswipe."
A green Kawasaki Ninja 250 R at Striaton City, Unova. "Moonracer."
A pink 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray at Santalune City, Kalos. "Elita One."
A yellow Urbana 500 at Paladin Island. "Bumblebee, rendezvous back at base and prepare to ground bridge."
Meanwhile, Hot Rod was taking down the Decepticons one by one by simple melee combat, until he was exceeded by them and received a hit on the back, a kick from another and a hit on the head, hard enough to send him back into the crater. When he managed to get up, some triple cannons appeared on his arms.
"Alright. You asked for it!"
And the brave Autobot started firing them back with his own lasers. The Decepticons reacted as firing him as well. Some of the shots hit some of the energon pieces, starting a chain reaction. Fortunately, Hot Rod noticed it, so he started to get away as fast as he could, but the crater ended with a huge explosion that sent him flying right into the woods. The two only surviving Cons checked the crater in search of the Autobot, but when they saw nothing they returned to the warship. Inside of it, there was a grey, blue and red robot with red eyes instead of only a visor and wings on his back, meaning its alt mode was an aerial one. His name: Darkscream.
"Fools! The energon, it's worthless to me now." He saw mad as the two Decepticon soldiers met with him.
"We haven't found any surviving piece of energon, commander Darkscream." One of the Decepticons reported.
"And the Autobot who was down there? Where is he right now?"
"We've found no remains of the Autobot. It appears the explosion vaporized him."
"Ah, better for us. Less Autobot resistance means less obstruction in our way to submit this planet's inhabitants. Let's continue our operation."
The Nemesis moved and left the area, returning to space.
Hot Rod observed it hidden between the trees. "I guess for the Decepticons I'm gone now."
Immediately, a strange green portal appeared in middle of the air, and the members of the team came driving through it in vehicle form. One by one, Ratchet first, followed by Warpath, Wheeljack, Moonracer, Arcee, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Elita One, and finally Optimus Prime, transformed and pulled out their weapons.
"Well, about time. Although the party is already over."
"Hot Rod. Are you alright?" Arcee asked walking at him.
"Yes, a few scratches and a personal experience about being blasted off, but aside that nothing important."
"What do you have to report?" Elita asked.
"It was them, the Decepticons. They're back, and to make things worse they also repaired their warship. It seems they came looking for the same I've uncovered."
"An untapped energon deposit."
"Better said what's left of it." Wheeljack corrected.
"I guess they didn't get what they came for at the end." Moonracer deduced.
"The first Decepticon activity after the last encounter." Ratchet assumed.
"That we know of." Optimus stated as he removed his battle mask. "If they're scouting for energon, they may be preparing for his return. Let's return to base."
Moments later, all the Autobots gathered on the top of a part of Mt. Moon, looking at the sun.
"We must not allow our fear and insecurity to impair our judgement. As of today, only we ten Autobots remain on this Earth. We owe it to ourselves, to the memory of Cybertron. To any Autobot in any galaxy seeking safe harbor. To human and pokémon kind alike, and we owe it to the memory of all our fallen comrades, to survive." Optimus pronounced.
"Till all are one." Elita said, ending the reunion.
"Hot Rod, you should go to the medical bay and wait me there so I can examine you." Ratchet recommended.
"I'm fine, doctor."
"Are you sure?" Arcee asked worried.
"Totally. But it isn't myself who I'm worried about. Now that the Cons are back, and getting ready for the old times, I cannot help worrying about our friends' safety."
"Hot, you know that he's far away from here. The last time we knew about him, he was going to spend vacations on another far region, and for it seems it's been a long one."
"But it will not last forever. So, with your permission, Optimus, I'm going to check that everything is still fine." Hot Rod reported before he changed to vehicle form and drove between the forest.
"Optimus, are you sure protecting the humans and pokémon is worthy? Sometimes I believe that helping them will only result in war tragedy." Ratchet expressed.
"You know as well as we that what we witnessed time ago, it's a worthy cause." Elita answered.
"Hot Rod, next time you feel some trouble, report immediately so anyone could assist you." Arcee told him by com-link.
"You worry too much, Arcee. Don't worry, Pallet Town is a very calm place. I usually go to visit it regularly."
At the same time, inside the Nemesis's bridge, another familiar Decepticon, one purple with thin arms and his face covered by a mask, approached Darkscream.
"Soundblaster, what is it?" Darkscream demanded.
"Don't worry, Pallet Town is a very calm place. I usually go to visit it regularly." Soundblaster replayed, everything with not his own voice.
"Ah, the one called Hot Rod. Why slay just one Autobot when we still have the advantage of surprise?" He said sinisterly.
Meanwhile, not too far from there, in Pallet Town, the light of the rising sun was entering through the window of a particular house. Inside the room was a young boy and a Pikachu sleeping, until the sunlight woke up the little pokémon. As usual, Pikachu went to awake his pal, stroking his cheeks with his own. In a couple of minutes, Ash finally woke up.
"Hehe, good morning, buddy. Did you sleep well?"
"Pika." The little pokemon nodded.
"It's hard to believe that just yesterday we returned from Alola. I wonder how everyone's doing now." He said looking outside the window. "Well buddy, how if we come down and get ready for breakfast?"
"Pika pika!"
"Then come on, a race to the kitchen!" He proposed, jumping out of the bed.
While these two adventurers prepared for what was supposed to be normal day at home, Hot Rod was about to enter the town. As he started to drive between the streets, he noticed two purple cars driving behind him, which looked very suspicious.
"Twins, huh? I better keep an eye on them."
He speeded up and stopped next to a house as he saw the two cars driving away.
"Pff, that was close. I better stay here and be ready if they return." He said, simulating to be parked as he guarded.
Suddenly, Ash and Pikachu, on his shoulder, exited the house when he pulled out a phone out of his pocket which began to buzz.
"Hi mom, it's me. You were right, this phone may come in handy." He said talking to it.
At the moment he heard his voice, Hot Rod became speechless when he saw him walking out of the house's entrance.
"I can't believe it. It's him, it's Ash. He's already back."
"Of course I'm going to help you and Mr. Mime with the chores, but first I want to visit professor Oak to see how things are going on. Besides, I want to tell Tracey all what I experienced in the Alola region." Ash continued.
"I also wanna hear your adventures by your own words." Hot Rod said to himself.
Suddenly, Pikachu perceived something weird with his hears, and started to get nervous.
"What is it, buddy?" Ash asked.
"Pika."
Pikachu pointed to the two purple cars, which returned, and we're looking right Ash, like they were ready to charge at him.
"Scrap."
And indeed, they charge against him, so Hot Rod had no choice than intercept them first, smashing one of them, making them stop. Next, he opened his closest door to Ash.
"Get in!"
"What? Wait, is it…" Ash started, recognizing the car's colors.
"No time to explain. Just get inside now!" Hot Rod insisted.
The duo went inside the Autobot, so he started driving away. Of course, the two cars started to chase them, and tried to squash them in the middle, but Hot Rod managed to dodge and let them behind.
"Commander Darkscream, target sighted. Accompanied by a human boy and a pokémon." One of the cars reported.
"Destroy them all!"
Once the two hid inside an alleyway, Ash and Pikachu went out Hot Rod.
"Hot Rod, is that you? What's the meaning of this?" Ash demanded.
"We'll have time for explanations later. Listen, I'll distract them, so go to a safe spot and we'll meet at your house once I make them lost me. Now go."
Ash nodded before he and Pikachu started to run while the Autobot made sure the cars followed him. But then he saw one of them going after his friends.
"Scrap. Not them!"
He turned around and jumped over the first car and went after the second one.
"I don't think he wants to talk, buddy. Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika!"
Pikachu launched his electric attack, paralyzing the car and allowing Hot Rod to pass him from above and catching up with them.
"Nice move, Pikachu. Now let's roll." Hot Rod said, allowing them to get inside.
Hot Rod decided to drive outside Pallet Town, making sure the purple cars would follow him. And they did, but once they had him on sight, they pulled a pair of turrets in their front part and started firing them lasers.
"Why are those guys shooting at us?!" Ash asked.
"I think they're really after me, and they're no guys." Hot Rod answered.
"So, do you mean they are of them?"
"Smart as always. But don't worry, this time I have backup."
In that moment, Bumblebee entered the road in vehicle form and smashed the two purple cars, forcing them to slow down.
"Hey, that's…" Ash recognized.
"Yep, that's Bee."
Bumblebee tried to block the path from the purple cars, until they saw an opening and hit him back, making him to stop and resume their chase. Near there, on an open area in middle of Viridian Forest, there was a little boy with black short hair who was wearing a green shirt, pants, shoes and glasses, seeing an older girl of orange short hair held by a tail, who was wearing yellow shorts and a single button vest of the same color with blue touches. She ended training a Staryu and retrieving it back to its poke ball.
"Impressive, Misty. You're getting better, at this rate no one will be able to get a badge from your gym."
Misty chuckled. "I tried my best, Max." Then she heard a buzzing noise and pulled out a phone from her pocket. "Yes? Oh, hi Daisy. What? Of course not, a gym leader is supposed to accept a challenge till the end. I don't care if you have urgency to reach some sales. Urg, okay, I will reach there as fast as I can." And she hung up.
"It was one of your sisters?"
"Yes Max. Sorry, I guess we'll have to leave our free time for another moment."
"Do you mind if I accompany you back home?"
"Of course not. Let's go."
Back to the chase, Hot Rod decided to try another route.
"Hang on tight, we're going into the forest." He warned.
"What? Are you sure?" Ash asked worried.
Too late, he already changed course and headed right at the zone where Max and Misty were. The path was full of depressions, making both Ash and Pikachu shake inside the Autobot and scream. Loud enough to be heard by the others too.
"Hey, did you just hear that?" Misty asked.
"Yeah. It sounded like…" Max started.
Immediately, Hot Rod jumped above them and landed in front of them, leaving them shocked and surprised.
"Whoa." They both expressed.
The door opened and Ash and Pikachu came out dizzy. "That was a crazy ride."
"Pikachu."
"Ash, it's been a while." Max saluted.
"Since when have you returned from your trip to Alola? And where did you get that car?" Misty asked.
Right in that moment the two purple cars managed to catch up with them. They descended right to where they were and transformed almost reaching the ground, revealing to be Decepticon soldiers, with weapons ready.
"What in the world…?!" Misty said in disbelief.
"Those are…" Max started.
"Yes." Ash answered.
"So, that is…"
Hot Rod changed back to robot form and put himself between his chasers and the group.
"End of the line, Cons!"
And he charged at them as the Decepticons tried to shot at him, but Hot Rod was fast enough to evade the shots and get close enough to start hitting them. All of this happened while the group observed them from a safe distance.
"What are those things?" Misty asked hidden, still unable to believe what she was seeing.
"Some robots that can transform into cars, and vice versa." Ash simply explained.
"How do you know that?"
"Well, something special happened before I traveled to Alola."
Back to the fight, Hot Rod was constantly punching one of the Cons on the head.
"This…is for…Cybertron!" He exclaimed while he took the Decepticon down with his last punch.
But before he could deal with the other one, he heard the sound of something more approaching. Then he saw a purple tank coming at him firing its cannon. He had no problem to evade the shots, but when it was close enough the tank turned into a big Decepticon with tank parts and the same cannon in its back, still firing. Hot Rod was too busy dodging the shots that when he saw the Decepticon he took the chance and pushed him too hard, sending him to the ground.
"Hot Rod!" The boys exclaimed.
"Wait, you know its name?" Misty asked in disbelief.
"Indeed we know. And it's not an it, but a him." Ash corrected.
Then they heard something coming from above and saw Bumblebee changing to robot form before landing next to the new Decepticon and started punching him. He managed to send the Con to the ground.
"Bumblebee, how glad I am to see you again." Max called, making the yellow Autobot to turn at him.
"(Max, you're here! You have no idea how much I missed you.)"
"I missed you too."
"Have you understood him?" Misty asked confused.
But that distraction allowed the other Decepticon soldier to shot at Bumblebee, sending him to the ground. He tried to get up, but the Decepticon tank crushed him against the ground and the other Decepticon soldier aimed his weapon at him.
"Hey, leave him alone!" Max shouted.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail, let's go!" Ash commanded.
Pikachu ran toward the Con and hit him on the head with his movement, making him to step backwards a little. But next, he and the other Decepticon looked at them.
"Huh, sorry?" Max invented.
"Bad call. Run!" Misty exclaimed grabbing Max by the hand before she, Ash and Pikachu started to run away.
"I will terminate the Autobot, you catch those fleshlings." The Decepticon tank ordered to the other.
The group started to run from the Decepticon who was after them. They saw a big fallen tree trunk nearby, perfect for their size, so they got inside. Once inside, the group tried to get as far as they can while the Decepticon tried to grab them with his hand.
"Don't look behind, keep running!" Ash instructed.
But before he could reach them something grabbed him and dragged him out: it was Bumblebee, who took a look to see if they were fine.
"(Thanks for the help, guys. We can take it from here.)"
"You're welcome." Max nodded.
"(See ya.)"
"I don't know what we just witnessed, but I hope you explain me later what exactly is going on."
"Don't worry, Misty. We will, I promise." Ash reassured as they continued walking to the other side of the trunk.
Back with the Autobots, Bumblebee was trying to keep busy the Decepticon soldier and the tank, but then the other soldier got back to his feet and hit him from behind. Next, he kicked the Autobot on his face, sending him back with Hot Rod, who had recovered and helped him to get up. The Decepticons prepared to finish their opponents, but then a huge shot almost hit them. It was Warpath, in his tank form, who fired again, this time hitting the tank's head, taking him down. The Autobot continued advancing towards them at high speed and changing to robot form once he met with Bee and Hot Rod.
"Who's ready to get KABOOM?" Warpath asked crushing his fists.
The Decepticons decided that three Autobots was something they couldn't deal with, so they changed to their vehicle form and retreated.
"What took you?" Hot Rod asked.
"You have no idea how hard is for a tank to move through a forest." The Autobot tank answered.
Moments later, the Autobots returned back to their base.
"So, you engaged the Cons again without us? I thought you already learned the lesson and you were going to call for backup."
"Haha, really funny, Sideswipe. Those Cons would have been scrap metal, if I hadn't been distracted by Ash." Hot Rod reported.
"Ash?" Optimus asked surprised.
"Wait, do you mean that Ash has returned already?" Arcee asked too.
"Yes. It seems his long holidays have finally ended." Hot Rod nodded.
"(And he wasn't the only one who we saw again. Max was also there.)"
"So you finally have reunited with your friend?" Moonracer asked.
"(Almost, if it wasn't for the Cons. There was also another human with them: a girl.)"
"Great, now we have a human who knows about us and from who we don't know anything about." Wheeljack groaned.
"I guess Max and the other one caught us in action, I'm not so sure. I was a little busy at the time." Hot Rod explained, finishing his report.
"Optimus, if the Decepticons are targeting us, anyone perceived as our ally will be at grave risk."
"You're right, Elita. And with the last events occurred, I think…that it's time to reunite all the team."
Moments later, each Autobot traveled to a determined place in each region: of course, both Bumblebee and Warpath traveled to Petalburg City, and stepped outside the local gym, while Max, who miraculously managed to arrive in a short period of time, was talking with his older sister inside.
"I am telling you very seriously, May. I saw Bee and Hot Rod when I was with Misty, and they were battling with other robots."
"Really Max, are you sure you're not inventing it? Surely if Misty was there, she surely would have remained without words."
"You can say that, as well as I am now."
"What? Why?"
Max pointed outside the house, right where both Autobots were waiting. At the same time, Arcee was on Lilycove City looking for someone around the building of the pokémon contests, until she finally found the girl she was looking for and called her attention. Moonracer was driving through Lumiose City's streets, Kalos, until she arrived to the house she was looking for: the one where Clemont and Bonnie lived and they saw her when she signaled them with her lights. Wheeljack was on Twinleaf Town, Sinnoh, waiting in front of a house until a blue haired girl came out and got surprised at seeing him. Sideswipe reached to a city of the Kanto region which name he didn't know and checked it, until he finally saw a very recognizable boy for him. Back to Pallet Town, already at midday, Ash was heading to professor Oak's lab, but not to visit him, but to see a friend of him to talk about what he encountered before. When he arrived, he also found Misty present there with him.
"Hey guys."
"Ash, it's been a while." Tracey saluted. "You came to visit your pokémon?"
"Not exactly. I need to tell you about something that happened this morning."
"Really? Well, Misty was about to tell me something that happened at the same time."
"Is the same thing. You know that car from something, right Ash?" Misty sensed.
"Well, you may say that. But it's not a simple car."
"What? Tracey, you knew about this too?"
"It's complicated to explain. But you can ask him directly." Ash suggested.
"What do you mean?"
Ash pointed to the road, just where Hot Rod was parked in vehicle form. Misty first reacted in fear, but both Ash, Tracey and even Pikachu walked at him.
"Come on, Misty. There's nothing to worry about." Tracey reassured.
"Are you certain?" She asked nervous, but following them.
"Relax, I just wanna talk with you." Hot Rod suddenly said, surprising Misty.
"Oh right, I think receiving an explanation from a talking transforming robot will be more believable than one from my friends." Misty said sarcastically.
"Misty, there is a lot you don't understand." Ash defended.
"We're also like you when this happened to us for the first time." Tracey followed.
"Wait, don't tell me, I will guess: they're some kind of robots made for a new combat show that were training outside, and the first rule about that club is not talk about it. And the last thing I need now is a bunch of giant robots following me all around which can crush me in any time by…accident." Misty said, until she stopped when Hot Rod transformed, revealing his true form.
"Listen. Misty, isn't it? Your personal safety is exactly why Optimus Prime has requested your presence. All of yours." Hot Rod started to explain.
"Wait. What do you mean all of ours?" Ash asked confused.
"You are in danger, because you're some of the few, some of the only who have ever seen us."
"You are worried about us? Well, that makes me feel more relieved. So what's going to happen now?" Misty asked.
"You will know. Once we are with everyone at base."
And with all said, Hot Rod changed back to vehicle form and opened his doors.
"So, if you guys please take a seat?" Hot Rod offered.
"Come on, Misty. It's okay." Tracey reassured.
"You can trust Hot Rod, he's a cool guy. And I'm sure you will get surprised with all the others, and even like them." Ash added.
"Pikachu!"
Although she was little afraid, Misty ended getting inside Hot Rod, following her friends who immediately went inside. Moments later, Hot Rod was driving through a forest, heading right toward Mt. Moon. They were getting very close to it, heading right against a wall of the mount.
"Eh, Hot Rod? Why are we approaching Mt. Moon?" Ash asked worried.
"I would turn right now if I were you." Tracey added.
"Turn right now or we're going to get crushed!" Misty yelled, started to panic.
But when they were really close, a secret entrance just opened. Next, they entered some kind of secret tunnel that led to a big room with lots of advanced technology, some kind of secret base. Inside, they saw the other Autobots and the rest of Ash's friends already there. Hot Rod allowed them to get out before he returned to robot form.
"So, this is the new girl to join the team?" Moonracer saw.
"Well, more or less. Fortunately, she's also a friend of Ash." Hot Rod reassured.
"Well, now that we all here I can say it. Welcome everyone to Autobot Outpost Omega One." Sideswipe proclaimed.
"You now have a hidden base inside Mt. Moon? That's awesome." Ash expressed.
"Ash, Tracey! You're finally here!" Bonnie shouted before she and everyone went running to welcome them.
Ash hug her laughing. "I'm glad to see you all once again."
The pokémon also were glad to see their friends again: Pikachu, Sparky, Piplup and Dedenne reunited in a huge hug.
"The last thing we knew about you was that you were in the Alola region." Clemont pointed out.
"Have you learned some of those called Z-moves?" Ritchie asked.
"Did you participate in the first official pokémon league of that region?" Max added
"Yes and yes. We will have enough time so I can tell you all about it." Ash answered.
"Better than that. We even had all your battles recorded here in the base's rest room's TV." Hot Rod revealed.
"Whoa, really?"
"I saw all your battles. You were incredible against that professor friend of yours and that island guardian."
"Then we can all see them too." Max suggested.
"Ash! I'm so happy to see you again." Serena said coming to hug him.
"I'm also glad to see you too, Serena." He said, hugging her too.
"We're also glad that you now are part of this too, Misty. It's been a while." May saluted her.
"You guys are in this too?" She asked surprised.
"Yes. Of course, not all our first meetings were like yours, only a few." Ritchie reassured.
"So, you're the first girl which accompanied Ash in his first journeys." Dawn deduced.
"That's right. Oh, is this little guy your pokémon?"
"Indeed. Meet Piplup, say hi."
"Piplup." The little pokémon saluted before Misty started to pet him.
"It's so cute. And I'm glad because I love water pokémon." Misty said before looking at how Ash and Serena were looking at each other in a weird way. "Why are Ash and that girl acting like that?"
"Oh, you don't know? Serena is Ash's girlfriend." Bonnie revealed.
"What?!" Misty said really surprised. "Ash has a girlfriend?"
"Many things have happened since our last reunion, Misty. We will update you in no time." May promised.
"Is so amazing to see you all reunited." Ash said, but his happiness disappeared when he noticed something. "Wait, where are the other Autobots?"
"Yeah. Where are the others? You know: Ironhide, Jazz, Drift, Jetfire…" Dawn named.
"I haven't seen Blaster either." Tracey added.
"After you returned to your lives, some of us decided to stay here while others chose to explore the rest of the universe, in order to bring back more of us. Blaster and the others departed into space to start their quest." Elita One explained.
"The only Autobots stationed on Earth are present here. We are Team Prime." Ratchet added.
"What about the Dinobots?" Bonnie reminded.
"Since Optimus left them on their own, we have no received any news about any of their members." Arcee told them.
"Okay, this is so interesting and a very warming reunion. But I'm new here and I need to know the basics. So first of all, who and what kind of robots are you?" Misty demanded.
Then everyone heard loud steps coming from behind the children. They turned to see Optimus Prime.
"You're correct about deserving an explanation. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron." Optimus explained.
"But you can call us simply Autobots." Sideswipe added.
"Misty, meet Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots." Ritchie introduced.
"Why are you here?"
"To protect your planet from the Decepticons." Elita answered.
"The bullies who tried to bump us off this morning, remember?" Hot Rod added.
"They're the bad guys." Max clarified.
"Okay. Why are they here?"
"A fair question, Misty." Optimus started, crouching down to their height. "In part, they are here because our planet is uninhabitable, ravaged by eons of civil war."
"A war? Why were you fighting a war?"
"The main cause was over political idealism: we Autobots fight for freedom and equality. The Decepticons, on the other hand, fight for conquest and supremacy over all other lifeforms." Elita answered.
"Secondly was over control of our world supply of energon, the fuel and lifeblood of all cybertronians; Autobots and Decepticons alike. The combat was fierce, and endured for eons. In the beginning, I fought alongside one whom I considered a brother. But in war ideals can be corrupted, and it was thus, that Megatron lost his way." Optimus ended.
"Megatron?" Misty asked.
"Is the leader of the Decepticons." Serena answered.
"Well, now he calls himself Galvatron." Ash reminded.
"So what is…Galvatron or any of this have to do with us?" Misty asked.
"Galvatron has not been seen or heard from in some time. But if his return is imminent, as I fear, it could be catastrophic." Optimus said.
Meanwhile, in the Nemesis bridge, Soundblaster approached Darkscream with something to show.
"Those transmissions are emanating from deep space. I would hate to waste the energon, unless you are absolutely certain." Darkscream said, earning a nod from Soundblaster. So he turned to a Vehicon. "Then lock on transmission coordinates, and activate the space bridge."
Out in Earth's orbit, there was a giant cybertronian structure with a hole in the center being activated from the Nemesis. A green portal, similar to a ground bridge but bigger, appeared in the hole of the middle. Then something came from the portal, some kind of purple advanced cybertronian ship, that turned into a sinister looking robot, with an appearance similar to a gladiator but more sinister and with red eyes: the leader of the Decepticons: Galvatron.
"DECEPTICONS, I HAVE RETURNED!"
