The sunlight doesn't help with my splitting headache as I got up from the ground? Crap it feels like gravity is pushing me down... More than usual. God neither getting being beaten down, drugged or going in the Meta-verse made me feel this bad. I seem to be in a forest. Where am I and how did I get here? I pulled out my phone hoping to find where I'm at via Google maps but for some reason, my phone isn't connecting to my service provider god I hate Verizon or is this a Samsung problem I knew I should have gotten an Apple. It's not even updating the date or time. It's not the 3rd we were fighting all night.
"The treasure!"
I quickly put my phone away and grabbed a small piece of paper from my pocket. It was a picture of Dr. Maruki and Rumi. Well, this is sad. I opened my dimensional storage and threw the picture in it. After I awakened to Arsene the ability etched itself into my mind. It never happened to any of my other friends so I was always stuck buying medicine and equipment not that I'm complaining tho, I got to spend time with my confidants and I wouldn't know what to do with all the weapons, items and loot period. I hardly have any room in my bag thanks to Morgana. When I tried asking Arsene about it, he said he didn't know.
I put most of my money in here too, I don't want someone to pickpocket me while I'm in Akihabara or Shibuya although I do keep 10,000 yen in my wallet because I just can't open the storage right in front of people. I always know what's inside it, every time I open it up there's a list of items and money would appear in my mind. Every time the list popped up it hurt but I got used to it, not even feeling the pain anymore. I threw my jacket in there as well for some reason it's ungodly hot out for February. I don't remember this being on the forecast.
I heard no running water but I did hear some animals while going through the forest. It took me about half an hour to find some type of rural interstate. No one's here it's weird and unnatural it's the middle of the day. Of course, I started walking next to the road hoping to find a city or something I won't need to worry for a few weeks as I have plenty of food and drinks in my storage. But I can't keep this up my body is screaming at me I worry if I sit down I won't be able to get back up. If I fall asleep next to the interstate it will freak people out when they drive by.
20 minutes later a black car with tinted windows was fast approaching heading where I was. It was a good distance away so I stepped in front of its path the driver did notice me as the car slowly lowered its speed until completely stopping right in front of me. I walked to the driver's window bending down a bit as the driver unrolled the window.
"Can I help you?" (???)
The driver appears to be a beautiful woman dressed in a black suit with black shades on and a bluetooth speaker connected to her right ear.
"...Sorry.. But I could use a ride." (Akira)
She took a moment to respond "...Hop in."
She didn't need to ask me twice I immediately open the passenger driver's door and got in after I shut the door I rested my head on the window. I know I know it's dangerous and all getting into a car with someone you don't know but I don't have the energy to keep going... Or to do anything else... The speed she's doing right now... Let's just say I hope we don't get pulled over.
"...Sorry again but I feel like I'm gonna die from the heat. Ah the AC feels heavenly."
"Haha Don't worry about it, so where you're heading Hun?" (???)

"Sorry, hun that's out of the way I'm heading to Saitama." (???)
"That's fine... Can you just drop me off at the nearest train station?"

"..I don't remember the last thing I remember is.. I was in Akihabara with my friends. I don't remember how I got here."

"Nope." I said before my vision got blurry falling asleep.
"Do you know anything about the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill?" (???)

Unknown to me she slowly stopped the car and took a look back to see me sleeping on the window of her car. She turned back around and started messing with her Bluetooth.
beep* "Call Tio." (???)
She waited for a moment before someone picked up.
"Hey Ti-"
"No. Tell Doppel I found someone out in the area the kid needs medical attention... Nah most likely a victim tho... I don't know... I'm taking the kid with me have Doppel open the roadblock by the time I get there and have an ambulance ready for the kid... Alright, talk to you later..Bye"
She then crossed her arms and rested her head on the wheel. "Why can't things just be easy?" She got up and turned her body to look at me again still sleeping on the window. 'If I go full throttle now he'll crack his head open.' She then pulled my sleeve making me lay my entire body on the rest of the sits.
'Hang on to your ass Fred.' She thought as she hit the gas.
*Earlier that day*
"You don't have any broken bones, just a dislocated shoulder." (Smith)
As soon as I left Kimihitos's house Miia called me on the house phone claiming she broke him. When I arrived he was on the ground sobbing.
"Quite the trouble you got here indeed." (Smith)

"I'm so sorry darling!!" (Miia)
'I have it in place now it only needs a little push.'

He then started to move around his shoulder making sure it didn't hurt. "Oh, thanks Ms. Smith."
"You're welcome Darling-Kun.." I took another look at them I need to tease them again before I leave.

Right at the good part... What does Zombina want? She doesn't usually call. "Give me a moment."
"Hello?" (Smith)

"I'm still at Kimihitos, Miia dislocated his shoulder." (Smith)
"Holy crap is he gonna get rid of her?" (Bina)
"...She isn't a Pokemon why did you call Brina?" (Smith)
"Oh we have reports that a liminal is using magic outside of town." (Bina)
I lowered the phone and covered the speaker. "Works calling I gotta go." I said as I made my way to the front door.
"Okay thanks again Ms. Smith." (Kimihito)
"Finally I get to be alone with my darling!" (Miia)
When I entered my car I continued our conversation.
"Is it a devil liminal?" (Smith)
"I don't know we think it could be a Yuki-onna considering how big the effect of their magic is." (Bina)
"The climate it's too hot for them here to survive. What were the effects of the magic?" (Smith) I asked as I grabbing my bluetooth from my pocket.
"Not much of a change the temperature increased two folds, that alone makes Tio thinks it's some strong dragon-kin or something." (Bina) I then switched it to my bluetooth as I started the car.
"It could be another portal to the underworld opening." (Smith)
"We didn't read any demonic energy but we did get spatial tho." (Bina)
"But only Grim Reapers should have that type of power. Did anything die?"
"Nope the magic itself encircled an entire forest." (Bina)
"...I don't like the sound of this." (Smith)
"Your telling me.. Look Lazy Ass we've already got a search partys around the forest and closed off the area can you come meet us already." (Bina)
"..All right I'll be there in a bit send me the location." (Smith)
"Alrighty then see y'all later Lazy Ass." (Bina)
After I hung up I received a text from Zombina. It was the directions to the forest. Another text came in as I was about to leave the residential area. 'Can you head to the west of the forest? Doppel there and I don't trust her to be by herself even though there is a search party with her. They'll get tired of her jokes quickly.'
'Yeah, Yeah I know' I texted back to her.
It took me around 40 minutes to get to the search party site. I easily found Doppel severely pissing off searchers trying to do their job.
"Yo Doppel take 5." (Smith)
"Smith? What are you doing here?" (Doppel)
"Oh you know just here to take the sights and all. A little of this and a little of that. But mainly here to watch you." (Smith) I said sarcastically.
"I can't be that bad." (Doppel)
"Oh no your worse." (Smith)
"I can do this without your help it'll be as easy as pie!" (Doppel)
A man then approached us as we were talking. He is the head of this investigation site.
"Ms. Smith can you assist me in something else. We just closed an interstate next to the forest can you do a drive-in to make sure there aren't any more drivers on it. We don't have the manpower to do it right now." (Cultural Exchange Security Squad Officer)
"Sure, sounds like fun." (Smith) And easy.
I turned around and started walking back to my car before looking back at Doppel. "Remember be a good girl until I come back." Her only response was sticking out her tongue at me.
10 minutes have gone by since I started driving through the interstate. I've been talking to Tio with my bluetooth as I was driving around. She had already completed investigating the north side of the forest with her investigation team. They found nothing, the magic itself was going back to its natural state as the effects of the magic were wearing off and the temperature returning to its normal state...
What is that? Is that a kid? Did he get into a fight with his parents and leave the car? When the kid noticed me he stepped in front of my lane telling me that if I didn't stop I'd hit him or if I changed lanes he'd likely to change in the other lane as well.
"Hey Tio, let me call you back I think I found something out here." (Smith) I hung up the call without hearing her reply. As I was slowly stopping in front of the kid. He approached my window easily guessing that he wanted to talk as I rowed down the window.
"...Sorry... But I could use a ride." (???) Is he demanding or is he asking? He looks dead as if he's about to pass out at any moment. Better take him with me if he stays out here for much longer he could get a heatstroke if not already have one it's my job anyway. I wonder how long he's been out here.
"...Hop in." (Smith) After he hopped in he immediately rested his head on the window as I saw through my overhead mirror.
"...Sorry again but I feel like I'm gonna die from the heat. Ah the AC feels heavenly." (???) He looks to be Japanese where's he going.

"I see...What school do you go to?" (Smith) There aren't many high schools in Shibuya only three in fact. I've had to visit the schools multiple times as liminal students and subjects have been incorporated into them.
"Shujin Private Academy." (???) That school doesn't exist. It doesn't look like he's lying either I should probably check his school ID will have it on him?
