I wasn't exactly expecting peace on earth in here, you could hear from the entrance that there some sort of large scuffle happening, it just happened to be larger than I imagined, no soon as we turned the corner than a table crashed through one of the paper walls that divided the rooms from the halls, a few seconds later Valiant came stumbling out of the door backwards before falling on her behind.

"BLOODY…" At that point she spotted us "Ahem, I'm afraid we are rather busy at the moment, we do not need any amateur detectives getting in our way!" and with that she ran back in, the way she was running making it seem like she was intent on tackling whoever was inside.

"I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR ARMS OFF!" someone else yelled from inside the room.

"Nee-sama calm down a bit!" The two of us just stood there while what sounded like the bloodiest fight of the century continued to bellow through the hallways.

"Whose room is this?" I asked my new partner.

"Amagi, Akagi and Kaga's." she replied rather hesitantly.

"Right, makes sense." I replied trying not to sound too bothered, I suppose Valiant was right, they did seem to have their hands full, and we'd only get in the way, I guess that meant we had to interview the other two suspects. I noticed my partner had turned suddenly before she ran towards the stairs yelling.

"ALIBI! Don't move!" before tackling this large silhouette hiding behind the stairs to the ground with a thud.

"Eek!" went the silhouette as it crashed to the floor, I sighed and walked over to Myoukou.

"Myoukou, I know you're eager, but we can't go round tackling every person we come across." Myoukou let go of her 'prisoner' allowing it to stand up, revealing a blue haired girl with what appeared to be a pair of demon horns on top of her head. "Would you mind identifying yourself?" I asked.

"My name is Junyou" the aircraft carrier said brushing herself off "I've heard that shikikan has disappeared, is that true?"

"That is not any of your concern Miss…(Junkyard?)"

"(Junyou)" Myoukou whispered to me.

"…Miss Junyou" the aircraft carrier dropped to her knees and started crying.

"Why? Why would anyone hurt Shikikan?" she cried.

"Were you particularly close?" Myoukou asked.

"Sniff… He was my…best friend" she answered "I warned him a couple of days ago that he might be in danger…but…he insisted on doing his duty…sniff… we used to have lunch together…"

"There, there, Junyou-san, we'll get to the bottom of this." Myoukou comforted, Junyou wiped her eyes before walking away.

"Hey" I asked Myoukou once Junyou was out of earshot "What type of girl is Jun…you?" My partner paused for a moment at the bottom of the stairs.

"She seems a rather quiet girl, to be honest I didn't think she had a crush on the commander, she didn't seem the type." I stored that information for later reference as we made our way towards Atago's room.

It was a fairly simple, but large room with four beds and a couple of desks at either end of the room. "Could you tell us where you were a couple of hours ago, say at around 10:00?" I asked the subject of the inquiry, pacing around the room as Myoukou sat opposite Atago jotting down the answers she gave.

"I was taking a shower." She replied.

"Why were you taking a shower?" Myoukou asked, I resisted the urge to facepalm.

"I was making myself presentable for shikikan, I wanted to make sure he felt relaxed, after all the hard work he's been doing." She smiled.

"Was there anyone else with you when you were taking a shower?" my partner asked, I stifled a groan.

"Oh my! I didn't know you were into those types of thing Myoukou-chan, you're a very naughty girl aren't you~"

"Huh? That's not…" Myoukou was busy trying not to turn this into an 18+ scene when I noticed something on the desk.

"What's this?" sitting on the desk was a single sheet of paper, picking it up I read it, it was rather steamy to say the least, and faintly smelt of lavender. Atago stood up and grabbed the piece of paper out of my hand.

"Oh my, that is something rather personal." She exclaimed. I agree, anyone who wrote a love letter that sounded like a check list of what the were going to do to the commander I was inclined to keep it personal.

"Thank you for your time Miss Atago. You might hear back from us." I felt as though I had seen enough of that room for a couple of hours.

"You have some guts barging into my room and asking me a load of pointless questions, when my beloved Shikikan may walk in and claim me as his own." Taihou gritted trough clenched teeth, her face scowling so much it felt as if death itself was staring at us. Even Myoukou's determination seemed to wither to dust, the said shipgirl hiding behind me, even I was trying not to look too terrified.

"I appreciate your concern Taihou, but we do have a few questions for-" Taihou slammed the table in front of us.

"Oh? And just what is it that you want to say to me?" I could see out of the corner of my eye that Myoukou was busy trying to creep away. "And where are you going?"

"Eek…uh, Bathroom?" Taihou pointed towards the back of the room.

"It's over there." She pointed out a face full of menace.

"Ahahaha…oh yeah…" My partner making the world's worst giggle before sidestepping past the bookshelf.

"So, what is it that you wanted to talk about…?" she asked again.

"Well…" I stuttered, be brave, "W-where were you at around 10:00 this morning?"

"That's none of your business!" she snapped back instantly.

"Um…Indianapolis…?" I turned to see my partner standing sheepishly next to the bookshelf "Can you come over here a second?"

I gave a heavy sigh. "Would you excuse us for a moment…?" I walked over towards the bookshelf, making sure to keep Taihou in my vision at all costs. "What is it Myoukou?" I asked, she didn't say a word, instead pointing to a sheet of paper partially hidden underneath some books, I pulled it out gently and started reading it, it wasn't pleasant reading, it read the following:

That damn fox thinks she so smart, trying to steal my beloved shikikan from me, well I'm going to make sure that shikikan will only love Taihou, and by the time that dumb fox realises it will be too late.

"Ara~ just what is that you're reading?" SHIT! How the hell did she sneak up behind us, she must be like one of those statues that move when you break eye contact, the two of us turned around slowly, Taihou was towering above us, a murderous grin on her face, okay act composed…

"T-Taihou… have you seen this letter before…" I asked holding the letter to her face.

"I've never seen it before in my life" she answered without looking at the letter.

"Indianapolis…I believe we have all the evidence we need…Taihou! You're under arrest for the abduction of Shikikan!" SHIT! That was not something I had intended to say out loud in front of them. Taihou seemed to freeze for a second.

"Sh-Shikian is…" She then did this horrifying screech and burst of flame erupted from her hands "THAT DAMN FOX, SHE'S KIDNAPPED SHIKIKAN, I'LL TEAR OUT HER HEART!" I was busy trying to read her her rights, but I doubt anyone could hear over the sound of a murderous rampaging turkey. At that moment the paper door slid open, and the Royal Knights barged through rushing in and restraining her as best they could, man that was one time I was glad to see the Royal Knights, I wasn't staying any longer, I grabbed Myoukou and ran through the dorms and didn't stop until we reached the Central Plaza.

"Well, that's that case all wrapped up." Myoukou commented after getting our breath back. "It won't take long for Taihou to tell us where she's been keeping the commander." I however wasn't quite sure "What's the matter Indianapolis?" My partner asked.

"Something just doesn't seem right" I replied, "I feel like I've overlooked something."

"It's probably nothing!" My partner tried to comfort me.

"Still…it's best to be sure… C'mon, there's someone I've got to see."
