Chapter 2

"What?" the General said in surprise

"She is pregnant, when I was checking her out I heard another heart beat inside her so I took some of her blood, Alina would be around umm 6 weeks"

The General calculator when he made love to her his Sun Summoner and it was about 6 weeks ago she was pregnant with his child. He didn't know where she was and he knew from her inexperience she wouldn't notice that she was pregnant and he worried for their safety. Their Safety know he knew he made some serious errors when he thought their safety, he needed to find her urgently and bring them home. He also knew he needed to end this war for her and their baby and for all Grisha. He got up and turned to the healer, "Please keep that to yourself about Alina's condition, we were attacked on the skiff. I'm not sure what happen to everyone but I'm going to organise a search party to find them"

The Healer nodded and followed the General out so he could speak to his guards to find Alina.

"Sir just so you know your still no strong enough to follow you will need more time to heal" the healers expressed

"Shit" the General replied and told his guard where he came out and possible where he thought they may have come out of the fold. They went on their way to find Alina and any others who were on the skiff that may have survived.

It took a week for the some of the guards to return, in the meantime the General had tried to use his connection to Alina to find her but he wasn't healed enough to find her. The guard that come back had inform the General that they found 6 tracks further down then he thought and that they stopped and created a fire but then they split up 5 heading to Os Kervo and another track led elsewhere. They believed Alina was with the group of 5 so they sent others to go into the capital to see what they could find. The General was given the all clear to go so he and the guards got back on the horses and rode out to the capital. They search and search for clues to where the 5 would have gone but came up with nothing, the General asked the guard to keep looking while the went to the little palace to sort things out there and rest.

When he arrived at the Palace the sick King and his son Vasiliy were waiting, "What happen General why is the fold still up?" he was asked.

"We were attacked your majesties by the Volcran and somehow the fold expanded whilst we were fighting them and took out Novokribirsk. I don't think anyone survived from there" the General looked down trying to look upset

"Okay General we will send a team from the army to check, what happen to the Sun Summoner" the King asked

"We were split up when we were attacked, I have my guard looking for her. I believe she is still alive just possible lost" the General replied

Vasiliy piped up, "You need to find her soon there are other who would use her or kill her. She has a price on her head"

"Yes your majesty, I promise I will bring her back" the General bowed to the King and Prince and left for his room.

When the General got into his room, he locked the door and burst into tears he knew if his mother was here, she would tell him he was weak but he needed, he wanted Alina. He wanted her there with him safe and well, he tried to use their link to see if he could find her. All of sudden he found himself on a boat watching his Alina and Nina talking, he watched as Nina helped Alina expanded her powers. He was so proud of her, he tried to reach out but he was blocked out. The General kept watch of their training until he heard shouting, he strained himself to hear, "Land hoe Land Hoe". He followed Alina and Nina up to the deck and watch as they got excited seeing Land again, he heard from another person that the boat was going to land at Ketterdam.

On the ship

Nina and Alina went to grab what they had with them and Nina took them both to Mathias to see how is was going.

"Nina I told you I never wanted to see you again" Mathias spat out.

"please Mathias I was, am trying to save you from death" Nina replied crying still holding onto Alina hand whilst

"go I will never forgive you" Mathias answered.

Nina nodded and Alina helped Nina up and they went above deck.

"What will you do Nina?" Alina asked

"I will fight to realised him" she replied.

"I know Mal wanted to leave after we get to Ketterdam but I want to help you since you helped me" Alina smiled sadly at Nina

"Thank you" Nina replied

When they got off Nina waited to see Mathias to be taken to jail so she could help him, however he was place in a carriage and they speed off to the jail. To quick for Nina to follow Alina grab Nina and drag her to the group.

"Maria what will I do" asked Nina

Alina looked at the group, "we will find shelter and we will help you find the jail tomorrow" she replied

Mal looked unhappy but Kaz who knew of Nina skills set beside her powers plus had been a friend to Alina and Inez agreed, "Yes we will help realise your friend"

"Thank you" Nina replied and they made their way to the nearest tavern to find room so they could stay for awhile.

When they arrived they had little coin and were very hungry Nina told them to order food and she would sort out there accommodation, Kaz and Jesper order drinks and food for the table. When the drinks arrived Alina tried to drink but it tasted awful she passed it onto Inez to finish it, when the food arrived she only picked at it. Nobody noticed this of Alina, Mal was keeping his attention on Jesper and his conversation and Kaz and aimed on their own.

Nina arrived back and she told them she had organised 2 room for them all, "well we have a boys room and a girls room" Mal piped up.

"No worries" Nina smiled and once they finished there food Nina took all up to their rooms.

Alina grabbed bed closer to the windows and said her goodnight.

The next morning Alina was awoke before anyone else she felt sick and got up and walked to the windows where she tried to breath in the first air unfortunately that didn't work and proceeded to vomit out the windows until there was nothing left in her stomach

When she finished Alina decide to head down to the tavern to grab something to eat, one of the tavern wenches gave Alina some porridge to eat, as it was quiet in the room Alina asked the women where was the jail located. The women processed to give Alina the information to find it. Alina thanked the women and as she watched the women leave she noticed a shadow watching her, Alina squinted but thought it was her imagination and went back to eating her food. The others arrived a little later on and Alina told them she knew where the jail so once they finished breakfast they should head out.

As they were heading to the Jail Mal came up to Alina and said, "Once we have finished here Alina helping Nina we should leave and start a new life"

Alina stopped for a moment then kept walking, "We will see" she said and walked faster to catch up to Nina.

Mal was angry but didn't want to draw attention to himself so he decided to keep quiet for now.

Arriving at the Jail Kaz, Nina and Alina went in to see what they could do to help Mathias. The Bailer told them if they could raise the coin they could free Mathias
