October 12

It had been 2 days since the sleepover and Friday was finally upon them all.

While some where going through a case, Guinevere was at least glad her first school week was over in a few hours.

Weekend would definitely give her the time to check out the town.

2 nights ago apparently there had been some news on a death that had happened a few years ago with a girls body not found.

Cassy had stayed longer at the TV station so as to gather as much information as she could.

This town really was as weird as it could get.

Guinevere sat down for history class that morning, giving small smiles to people who caught her eyes.

She was dressed in a N 21 ivory cable knit crop cardigan, a short pastel blue flounced tweed skirt to her thighs and black heeled Joplin buckle booties in suede. Her hair was in a high ponytail and she probably looked super expensive.

As she brought out her things, Kira walked into the class, walking over to the empty seat next to Guinevere.

Her eyes moved though as she stopped in front of a guy who had been talking with his friend and another girl just behind the class.

Guinevere recognized the two as those seedy looking guys that had stared at her when she'd first arrived.

She wasn't sure she'd ever stop looking at them weirdly… ever.

First impression did matter after all.

"Hey. I'm Kira. You knew that. I knew you knew that. I don't know why I just told you that again."

Guinevere stifled a chuckle with her fist as she heard the awkward conversation going on just right next to her.

Kira shook her head.

"Anyway, I have something for you."

She said as she dipped her hand into her bag and Scott looked at her, slightly surprised.

"For me?"

"Yeah. About the bardo. My explanation was sort of all over the place, so I did some research with Guinevere and I printed it out for you… Um, that's Guinevere."

She pointed to Guinevere and Scott looked down at the beautiful girl who gave him a small wave and he smiled at her in greeting before turning back to Kira who was frowning as she dipped into her bag.

"Ah, you didn't have to do that."

"It only took a couple of hours."

She tried to assure him and Scott's mouth dropped slightly in shock.

"Wow. Then you really didn't have to do that."

"I swear I printed it out."

Guinevere stifled a smile.

"Are you sure you put it in your bag?"

She asked Kira and Scott turned slightly startled at hearing such a soft yet posh accent at a close proximity and idly wondered if Stiles had been right when he said she was some sort of a princess undercover.

Kira shook her head and was about to open her mouth when her dad called out from the front.

"Kira!"

He walked over, holding the printed papers in hand out to her.

"You forgot all the research you did for that boy you like."

He spoke so nonchalantly that Guinevere knew he did it on purpose and she snorted, unable to hide it at the gobsmacked looks on Kira and Scott's face.

Mr. Yukimura turned to Guinevere with a playfully grin.

"Morning Guinevere."

"Hi, Mr. Yukimura."

She gave him a small wave as he walked away and Kira awkwardly turned to Scott who had a small smile on his face and handed him the papers, immediately slinking down and into the seat by Guinevere as said boy walked to an empty seat.

Guinevere chortled silently as Kira immediately dropped her head into her hands and with a sly smile, she made kissy sounds at Kira who raised her head and gave Guinevere a look.

"All right, everyone!"

Mr. Yukimura grabbed the attention of everyone.

"Let's get started. We were just talking about internment camps and prisoners of war. There's a passage in our reading that I'd like to go over in more detail Who would like to come up and read aloud for us?"

He looked around for a minute before looking at someone on the front row.

"Mr. Stilinski, how about you?"

Stiles looked up at the mention of his name, slightly startled and hesitantly shook his head.

"Oh, ah… m-maybe someone else could."

Mr. Yukimura smiled.

"Everyone participates in my class, Mr. Stilinski."

Stiles sighed before whispering.

"Okay."

He moved to the pulpit, looking down at the book and Guinevere looked at hers, not particularly interested in the class.

She was well and truly done with the first week at Beacon Hills and basically just wanted to take a break from sitting down behind a desk in a town that seemingly wasn't as quiet as she'd earlier suspected.

"Stiles? You okay?"

She heard a voice and looked up from the textbook to see Kira's crush… whom she had no name to yet, looking at his friend at the front of the class who seemed to be breathing in and out irregularly.

Guinevere frowned, ignoring the slight whispers as he walked over to his friends, holding him as Mr. Yukimura stood up concerned.

"I should take him to the nurse's office."

He said as he grabbed his obviously out of it friend and they both left the class.

Guinevere was pretty perceptive and knew exactly what a panic attack was.

She'd had a bunch of them after her parents death and so she could feel some sympathy for the seedy looking boy.

He probably wasn't good at standing in front of a crowd.

It happened.

The bell rang for classes over and done with and immediately, everyone stood up to leave as Mr. Yukimura shouted out some topic for them to read.

Guinevere put her books back in her bag as she stood up, looking at Kira staring at Scott's bag and she chuckled.

"You know you can just take it to him, right?"

Kira's head snapped up and a slight look of panic appeared in her eyes.

"I wasn't… I mean, that's not—it wasn't—"

Guinevere tittered slightly, going to the front desk and grabbing the other boy's bag, shaking it at her friend.

"Come on lover girl… I'll accompany you. Maybe that way you don't ramble and scare him off?"

She winked and Kira blushed as she eagerly grabbed Scott's bag and followed after Guinevere.

The nurse's office was down where the locker room was located as well, so the two girls passed through the doors.

It was quiet and slightly dark which creeped Guinevere out.

"The things I do as a wingman… this place is as desolate as a graveyard!"

Guinevere snarled slightly as she looked around and Kira nodded too, a frown on her face.

"Yeah… I wonder where everyone is—"

She paused, holding Guinevere's hand, also making her stop as she stared at something making the white haired girl turn.

"Fucking hell… I hate this school!"

She whispered painfully as on the staircase, was a freaking coyote, growling at them like dinner.

Guinevere wasted no time, spotting the door next to Kira and pushed her towards it.

"In… in, now!"

She pushed her urgently as the coyote pranced over to them and they quickly shut the door.

"Oh God! My aunt is crazy! I knew it but I thought she was taking meds… I can't believe she took me to a school like this!"

She ranted quietly and Kira shushed her as they ran to the end of the locker room, hiding behind a pair of lockers.

It was all for naught though, as the there was the sound of glass breaking and Kira gasped slightly, making the girls hold hands.

It was quiet except for the light pitter patter of the coyote's feet and Kira's whimpers and Guinevere got to her feet, pushing Kira behind her.

If anyone had the power to fight that thing and kill it… it was her.

And if she ended up revealing what she was to her new friend, who could quite possibly run away screaming when that happens.

Not that it would matter… she had ways of making her forget it.

Now though… they were more serious matters to go through.

The growling got closer and the two girls moved back slowly when someone grabbed the both of them, startling them and it turned out to be Kira's crush.

He pushed them behind him and without any stress, pushed two lockers over the coyote.

It was quiet for a minute as they looked around, Guinevere's heart beating quite fast and relief in her eyes at not needing to use her powers…

But where the hell had the coyote gone?!

"Someone better call animal control or I'm hunting that bloody thing to kill."

Was the first thing out of Guinevere's mouth and the other two turned to her with surprised looks making her glare at them.

"Don't look at me like that. Why are you looking at me like that?"

Scott immediately shook his head at the presence of a glaring female while Kira placed a hand to her chest to still her rapidly beating heart.

"No… nothing! It's just that… you don't exactly look like—"

"Like what exactly, mate? And choose your answer well…"

She whispered dangerously and Scott could feel chills in the air… but it must have been his imagination.

He really shouldn't have said what he'd said… after all, he knew a couple of badass females in his life.

This new girl though… without even trying, looked as dangerous as she was beautiful right now.

He quickly brought out his phone.

"I'll uh, call the cops…"

"Good answer."

She gave him a fixed smile as he quickly called the sheriff and Guinevere turned to Kira who was still shaking slightly, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

Kira nodded.

"Y-yeah! I mean… I didn't just have a run-in with a freaking coyote in the middle of my school on a sunny afternoon… what are the odds! Ha!"

She laughed slightly hysterically and Guinevere slightly stepped away from the girl.

She didn't know how to deal with crazy people. Never had.

"The police are on their way."

Was all Scott said and Guinevere nodded at him, going to grab her bag she'd thrown haphazardly to the side when she was hiding.

"Oh I'm so glad you're okay!"

Cassy hugged her niece tightly in the locker room, a couple of deputies in there and the room in slight disarray.

Kira was to one side, her father with her.

"I'm fine, Cassy… really, no harm done whatsoever."

Cassy gave her a look.

"No harm done? Imagine my surprise when I heard a freaking coyote had wondered into your school and had almost torn apart some students!"

She threw her hands up in the air, looking beautiful as usual and some deputies staring at the bubbly woman while Guinevere scoffed, amused.

"Okay, that's taking things too far now aunty…"

"Not at all… and then I hear you're one of them??"

"How did you even hear that?!"

"I told you doll, my office is filled with a bunch of gossips… news travels fast in there. But, really though… are you fine?"

She looked into her niece's eyes and Guinevere sighed, feeling slightly exhausted.

"Honestly… I'm just, tired… the whole moving thing?... It's getting to me. I just… I'm exhausted!"

She finished honestly and Cassy awed slightly at her niece, rubbing her back comfortingly.

"Well maybe after this whole… drama, you can ask for excuse to head home early… now come, I want to meet this new friend of yours."

She smiled, looking curiously at the Asian girl just a few feet away and Guinevere stifled a scoff as they walked over.

"Kira, hey! Mr. Yukimura…"

Guinevere spoke up as they approached and the father daughter duo turned to them.

"Ah, you must be Mr. Yukimura… and Kira, pleasure to meet you two, my name is Cassy Jones."

"Of course!"

Mr. Yukimura greeted her, shaking her hand politely.

"You're from the news… nice to meet Guinevere's aunt. She speaks highly of you."

"Still wonder why…"

Guinevere snidely whispered and Kira stifled a smile as she shook the woman's hand too.

"I heard about what happened. Really awful! But I'm glad you two are okay…"

Kira nodded.

"Yeah um, a student came in just in time and tipped some lockers over. We really were lucky."

"Oh? Which student?"

Cassy asked and Guinevere was about pointing when a loud voice was heard.

"Where did you find this?!"

They all turned to see a man holding an old dolly in his hand with a shaved head, eyes emotional.

"It belonged to my daughter…"

He whispered, slightly weepy, and the Sheriff walked over to them.

"Who's that aunty?"

Guinevere whispered slightly and Cassy smiled sadly.

"That, is Mr. Tate… lost his whole family a few years back… something must have brought him here though…"

She whispered to herself as they watched the sheriff try to direct him outside.

"You find that animal… you find that thing!"

He spat out before walking off and Cassy immediately grabbed Guinevere's hand.

"Come doll, let's go thank your savior."

"Excuse me??"

Guinevere spat out as her aunt greeted the Yukimuras before pushing her towards the two boys.

"Well hello there boys…"

Cassy smiled sweetly at them and the two turned slightly startled to see Cassy Jones, standing in front of them.

"Hi, I'm—"

"Cassiopeia Jones, TV reporter!"

Stiles laughed out, a look of awe on both their faces and Cassy giggled slightly, flaunting her hair and Guinevere watched unimpressed.

"Oh! I had no idea I had fans your age!"

"Fans! I have been watching you since I was a preteen!"

"Indeed, I have been a subject of sexual awakening for teenage boys and some girls since I appeared on TV."

Scott immediately blushed, no bothering to deny it while Stiles opened his mouth and closed it a couple of times, unable to say a word, making Guinevere butt in.

"Aunty… we didn't stop by to talk about your unrivalled beauty across the land, did we?"

The two boys turned to her and Guinevere looked at Scott.

"Thanks for helping Kira and I back there… we didn't really need the help but it was appreciated."

Scott blinked at the rather weird apology while Stiles blinked.

"You didn't really need—what?"

"Forgive my niece boys… she can occasionally be bratty, especially when she's tired."

Cassy gave her niece a look before turning to the boys with a smile.

"But I have no idea what your names are!"

"Oh I'm Stiles, this is Scott"

"Hi. And it was no problem… with the coyote."

Scott added with a puppy smile and Guinevere could see him and Kira together…

It'd be like puppy love.

Stiles… on the other hand…

She turned to him.

"Stiles? What kind of name is stiles?"

Stiles looked at her with an offended look and Cassy sighed.

"Well excuse me… it's a family name! What kind of name is… Guinevere??"

She raised an eyebrow at him.

"It's the name of a queen."

Stiles stared at her, not sure what to say as Scott and Cassy watched them both amused.

"A queen. Yeah, touche… you win this round."

He looked down, rubbing at his neck which was slightly red from embarrassment and Cassy cleared her throat.

"Well, it was nice to meet you boys and thank you again, Scott."

With that, Cassy walked off with her niece who gave both boys nods as she walked away and Scott turned to his friend with a smile.

"What?!"

"What kind of a name is Guinevere? Really?"

Stiles scoffs.

"Oh please! Like you weren't also tongue tied to be in close proximity with her?? She's really beautiful! I got tongue tied for a second! But not anymore!"

Scott smirked.

"Uh-uh…"

"Shut up… stupid… alpha…"

Jones Residence.

"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?"

Cassy questioned as they walked into the house that afternoon.

With Cassy having been with her, Guinevere had been excused from school for the rest of the afternoon and she honestly didn't mind it.

Not one bit.

"I'll be fine aunty… except you think a coyote's going to enter this house?"

She raised an eyebrow and Cassy gave her a look.

"Oh ha. Ha. Very funny niece of mine. Fine I'll go, but if you need me give me a call… and if a blonde haired woman with an inverted bun hairstyle whose name is Karen knocks on this door, don't let her in."

Guinevere gave her aunt a look at the certain description.

"Why not?"

"She's my neighbor and I hate her. Enough said. I'll see you later doll, okay?!"

She walked back out and Guinevere waved as she closed the door, leaving her alone in the big house.

Her exhaustion hit her once more and she climbed up the stairs slowly… mind still on what had occurred just over an hour or so ago.

Maybe she should call Kira and ask how she was too… but now, she needed a good soak in her tub to make her feel good.

The next morning came swiftly and since it was Saturday, Guinevere planned to have fun as much as she could.

Her first weekend in Beacon Hills and she wanted to know what people did for fun around here.

Times like this, she was just glad Cassy wasn't a strict adult.

As long as she knew you were safe and okay and where you are, she was cool with it.

And she had been rather curious about a night club called 'Sinema' and so, she'd decided she'd be checking it out that evening.

Cassy would be spending a late night at the station and so Guinevere had no plans.

She was a party person. So sue her.

As evening loomed on Beacon Hills, Guinevere dressed in a red satin spaghetti strap v neck backless mini dress and paired it with silver boots, letting her hair down in waves.

She didn't bother inviting Kira mainly because she didn't seem like the type to be super comfortable at parties.

Also… she wanted to have fun without worrying about any other person and if someone caught her eye over there… well… happy day then.

The drive to sinema didn't take too long as she stopped by the place her gps direced her to.

She could hear some beat from somewhere and followed a couple who walked through a slightly empty walkway.

Slightly creepy but… the things she did to have fun.

She waited behind them, giving a straight smile when they turned to her and they opened the door, walking in.

Passing through a silvery curtain, Guinevere's smile brightened as she looked into the club.

Sinema was a "mixed club" to be precise where both the LGBTQ and straights could have fun.

It also helped that all their dancers were muscled sexy guys, both straight and LGBTQ… it was like a win-win situation for everyone in attendance.

Guinevere walked in fully, sauntering through with a smile as some moved out of her way subconsciously while eyes seemed to follow her as well.

Totally understandable… she was sort of a new face around Beacon Hills and Beacon County in general.

The lights were more or less neon white and blue but not too bright to make people uncomfortable. It had a dark color to it and suited Guinevere just fine.

Muscled guys danced in boxes wearing rather lecherous outfits and people danced all around, holding drinks or so.

She'd spotted a drag queen or three already.

She walked to the bar with a small grin and sat down, crossing her legs and tapping the table as a guy bartender moved to her with a smile.

"Haven't seen you around here before. What would you be having?"

Guinevere smiled.

"New to town. And… I'll be having your most famous drink."

The guy nodded as he made her a drink before looking at her curiously.

"Your ID? I can't have you putting me in trouble no matter how beautiful you are."

He winked and Guinevere chuckled, going through her small purse and showing her authentically fake ID.

She had other ways to convince him, but this was just the faster and more efficient way to do things.

With a nod, he pushed the drink to her and she took a sip, humming with approval.

"Has a kick doesn't it?"

"Definitely… I needed it after moving to this crappy town."

"A sexy English girl moving to town… and a new face around here… it won't be long before you're asked to dance."

Guinevere made a noise at the back of her throat, turning around to watch the crowd.

"Hm… that's not the only thing I'm here for…"

She grinned slyly and he chuckled.

"Well then! Good luck to you and welcome to sinema! I'm Luke by the way."

She turned back to him, downing her drink and taking a liquor in a glass tube from a passing waiter, paying her for it.

"Pleasure, I'm Guinevere."

She downed it too before wincing slightly at how strong it was…

She was now feeling tingly and loose enough to have fun.

With that, she turned to Luke and gave him a wink.

"Wish me luck."

She walked towards the crowd with a skip to her steps.

Guinevere moved to the beat of the song as she grinded her ass into a guy she'd met on the dance floor and could at least move.

Hands on her waist while a girl danced in front of her, basically she was in a sandwich of two bodies, and she didn't mind it one bit.

Things soon got slightly heated as she leant into the girl and kissed her, making the girl reciprocate.

The boy behind her moved his lips to her neck, biting down on a sensitive place and she let out a moan, giving the girl passage to let her tongue into her mouth.

Hands roamed her body and she moved a hand behind her to drive her hand into the guys hair.

Feeling someone's eyes on her, she opened her eyes as the girl lips moved to her neck as well, and she saw a guy a few feet away.

He was tall, probably 6'3 or so and looked chiseled. He was also slightly young looking, probably her age and was presently dancing with a girl and a guy as he danced in between them.

How ironic.

He gave her a grin and a wink and something about him made her smile involuntarily as she turned away and danced though she could still feel his eyes on her every once in a while.

It didn't take long for her to separate from her dance buddies who she now recognized as the couple she'd walked into the building with.

Over time, she'd had another drink and was moving to the music, finally feeling like herself after a long week, when she felt someone behind her and turned to see the boy she'd spotted from afar earlier in front of her and she grinned.

"Can I help you?"

"Maybe... Can I have a dance?"

"Sure! If i can have a name."

He grinned down at her.

"Call me Brett."

"Brett huh?"

She played with the name on her lips.

"I'm Guinevere."

They smiled at each other… a promise behind the look.
