The team crowded around their leader to send her off, Mas y Menos holding onto both of her legs in an attempt to get her to stay.
"Can ya'll get off of me please? I'm not leaving the team forever, just for a month. I'll be back before ya know it."
"Pero sabremos que te has ido." They said with tears in their eyes. Aqualad and Speedy grabbed either twin and pulled the boys with all their strength off of their leader. "¿Ves cómo Cyborg nos dejó? No necesitamos que nos dejes también. Por favor reconsidere Bumblebee."
Bumblebee rolled her eyes and hugged both Boys. "Alright you guys, I'm not going to leave forever, I will be there for a month and I will come straight back here. You have my word."
"¿Estás seguro?"
Bumblebee smiled. "Por supuesto. Why don't you guys go play while I go board?" They then smiled and put their hands together.
"Si Bumblebee, Mas Y Menos, Si Podemos!" And they sped off. Aqualad walked up and gave her a tight hug.
"Don't forget us little people while you go out to the big city." He joked.
"Garth, Steel City is a big city too. Why are you acting like I'm gonna ditch you guys. I swear I'll be back in a month. Or at least until Robin mops the floor with Roy again."
"Uh uh, no. Back that up Bee. He did not and will not mop the floor with me. Just wait until he gets here!" Roy exclaimed.
"Yeah ok. Just give me a hug, Speedy." Bumblebee said walking up to him. He gave her a warm big hug. "Come right back to us, Honey Bee."
"I will, I will." As soon as they separated, a large T-Car pulled on the front of the Titans East home. In the passenger seat was Robin with some bags in the back seat and in the driver's seat was Cyborg. He honked on the horn with a big grin on his face.
"Did someone here order a Robin?!" Titans East smiled back at them too.
Speedy smirked. "That depends, did someone here order a Bumblebee? She comes with different outfits unlike some people."
"Yeah yeah, you won't be saying that when I mop the floor with you Roy." Said Robin as he smirked.
Bumblebee giggled."See, I said the same thing." Roy grumbled and took Robin's bags inside the tower while Cyborg laughed from inside the car. Aqualad gave Bumblebee one final hug and went to follow the other boys. She then walked to the T-Car with her bags, then Cyborg hopped out the car and grabbed her bags and put them in the truck.
"I got ya girlie. Hop on in!" He said with that same grin on his face. She smiled back at him and got into the front seat as they drove off. Bumblebee grew confused.
"Umm not that I don't I doubt the T-Car or anything, but I'm almost positive that it'll take forever to get to Jump by car."
Cyborg lifted his finger to his chin in fake thought. "Oh, I suppose you're right. Well LET'S PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL" He screamed as he pushed a button in the middle of the steering wheel. The T-Car then started to rise up off the ground and the car doors transformed into wings. Bumblebee's mouth dropped and Cyborg had a cocky smile on his face. "The T-Car at Titan's East can do that too. You're not special."
"Yeah, cuz I designed it. You better ask about me." He said with a smirk.
She mimicked his smirk. "Okay, I guess I'll ask Jinx about you once I get to Jump City."
The smirk disappeared off his face and his eyes grew really wide. "We haven't dated in years, I doubt you'll get anything from her."
"So you won't mind if I ask her how she dealt with you. Remember we never had a class together."
"That's true but we were too busy being spies to really get to know each other. And to be frank, we didn't really have that many interactions when we were renovating Titan's East Tower. Other than the fact that you are extremely technically savvy, like the color yellow, and may or may not be able to whoop my ass, I don't know much about you."
"You have a point. We'll I'm here, so hopefully in my time away from Steel, I can get to know Victor Stone."
A nice blush appeared on Cyborg's dark skin tone. "Wait a minute. How do you know…"
She chuckled. "I did still read your file. I didn't read everything but I did skim over your name. It's a nice name."
"Thank you. It's not that often that I get to use my real name for everything. The only one of us that uses their actual name is Raven. And I know she calls Beast Boy Garfield just to tease him at times. Other than that, as much as I love all of them, we only really use our superhero names."
"That sucks. I'll be sure to call you Victor my entire time here. Or Sparky. Imma call you Vicky if you piss me off."
"Hold up, how do you know I'm gonna piss you off?"
"You'll know, Victor." She said leaning on her seat and putting her arms above her head cooly.
"I like the sound of that. Okay Karen, I got you."
"Mhhmmm… wait a minute, how do you…?" Bumblebee said surprised.
"What? You think I haven't checked you out either, Ms. Beecher?"
"Touche. So you've been checking me out, huh?" Bumblebee said with a slight blush on her chocolate complexion.
"Well uhh… you see um...hey look, I see Titan's Tower. We're almost home." Cyborg said in rush to land the ship and avoid her question.
"So you're just not gonna answer my question? You're just gonna ignore me like I'm not next to you?"
"You know what, I will answer you in due time. As of right now, we need to get you into the tower. Remember, you're gonna be leading us for the month until Robin gets back." Both of them stepped out of the ship as it turned back into the standard T-Car and walked towards the tower doors.
Bumblebee sighed. "Yup. How's your team, if you don't mind me asking? I'm sure everyone's cool as hell and nice, I just wanna know what I'm getting into."
"Girl, you have nothing to worry about. Beast Boy's the homie and Starfire and Raven are like my little sisters. The most you'll really have to worry about is the villains we have now."
"That's good, I don't have to baby anybody here."
"You're overreacting, you'll do fine with us. And if you don't feel comfortable, even though I 100% doubt that you won't have the best damn time of your life, I will fly you right back to Titan's East."
"I mean, I'm not gonna shy away from any other person ever. Please, I don't scare easy. You won't need to fly me back anywhere!" She said confidently.
"That's the spirit!! Welp, there's no turning back now. Let's head on in."
"Yessir, its now or never." Cyborg and Bumblebee entered the dark building and he lead her into the direction of the Common Room. As soon as the Common Room doors opened, the young adults were bombarded with black and yellow balloons.
"SURPRRRRRIIIISSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!" Screamed Beast Boy and Starfire. The entire common room was decorated with black and yellow streamers, tons of different food everywhere and loud music was playing. A smile grew on Bumblebee's face. Cyborg leaned into her with his own smile. "This would have been mad awkward had you went back to Steel." He giggled.
Beast Boy turned into a bumblebee and buzzed over to the girl and tickled her face as she giggled, being really careful not to sting her. He transformed back to his human form and gave her a big smile.
"What's up, Bumblebee? We heard that you're gonna be here for the month sooooo we all decided to throw you a party! To show you how the west coast does it!!!"
"Yes friend Bumblebee. I am very glad that you will be living with us temporarily. I cannot wait for us to get to know you, and we can go shopping, engage in the girl talk. Ooooh I can even make the pudding of new friendship for you. With extra mustard!!!!"
Bee almost did a double take. Extra mustard? She didn't even like a little bit of mustard. Nonetheless she gave Star a hug and accepted her invitation.
"That sounds great Starfire. Looking forward to it." She said nicely. "Wait a minute, you two are here but where's Raven? "
A gravely feminine voice replied "Right here."
They all turned their attention to the common room couch and there sat the purple haired sorceress with her hood down, a book in one hand and a fork in the other. She was eating some ice cream cake. Which took everybody by surprise.
"Raven, you're eating cake...ICE CREAM CAKE. Every time I try to give you some, you blow it up in my face!"
"Today is a special occasion. It's very nice to meet you again, Bumblebee." She said turning towards the group.
Beast Boy grumbled and walked to the table with food. "She is never that nice to me." Bumblebee giggled a little bit and sent a smile in Raven's direction. Raven nodded her head and continued to eat her cake.
"Don't mind Raven. She's like that with everyone. Now, are you ready to party Karen??" Cyborg screamed.
"Heck yeah, I'm ready to party!!" She said walking to the food tables. Beast Boy went over to the girl and bombarded her with a tofu burger.
"Hey Bee, do you wanna try a tofu burger? I promise you, it tastes really delicious." He said giving her a plate. Cyborg took the plate away from them.
"Boy, get that trash out her face. Don't nobody want any of that crap." Then to his surprise, Bumblebee took the plate from him.
"Boy, you need to back up and let me eat this burger in peace." She said holding onto the sandwich. It had the fixings on it. Ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions with a sesame seed bun. Bumblebee brought it to her mouth and sunk her teeth into the sandwich. Everyone looked at her in shock.
"Its really… good." She said eating more of the burger. Everyone's eyes then grew extremely wide. Beast Boy started laughing like a maniac.
"In yo freaking face, Cy-Bum! She enjoys my tofu burgers. And what?!!!" He said dancing around the room. Cyborg shook his head and turned to Bumblebee. "So you're a vegetarian now? Is that another thing I don't know about you?"
"Hol up Sparky, I ain't no vegetarian but I do love food. The tofu burger was good. Sue me." Bumblebee was then pulled by Beast Boy towards him.
"Girl, if you like that tofu burger, you're gonna LOVE the other food I made!"
"Alright, what we're not about to do is only feed her that vegetarian shit. I'm giving her real meat and that's that!" Cyborg yelled going after them.
