After meeting with Team RWBY, Edelgard is taken into Beacon Academy, where she meets with the Headmaster of the Academy, Ozpin.

"I'm sure you'll love it here at Beacon!" - Ruby said, excited and with a big smile on her face.

"But what do you want me to do here?" - Edelgard asked, confused about the girl's intentions - "I'm not exactly what you might call, normal" -

"Don't worry about that, there aren't just humans at the Academy, there are also Faunus" - Yang said with a smile similar to her sister's.

"What exactly are... Faunus?" -

"They are humans with animal features, they could be ears, tails, fur in weird parts of the body, claws and a large etcetera" - Weiss explained to the confused Hresvelg.

"I appreciate your efforts, but I think you see that I'm not a Faunus either, I have no place here" -

"Stop being so negative, I'm sure you'll fir just perfectly" - Ruby said again before looking at her friend Blake, who seemed a bit nervous about Edelgard - "Is everything ok Blake?" -

"Oh yes, sorry, it's just that I'm still a bit... Afraid about how she looks" - the girl with black hair answered.

"I understand your fear, but I have no power over this. I can't remove it from my body" -

"Well well well, what do we have here? What did Team RWBY brough to us this time?" - a man with white hair and with a cane on his hand approached all 5, joined by a woman with blonde hair.

"Oh, professor Ozpin, we want you to meet Edelgard!" - Ruby said, pushing her in front of them - "She killed a Grimm with just one hand!" -

"Really? I might say that's impressive, even the most experienced Hunters have some trouble fighting hand to hand with a Grimm" - the man identified as Ozpin said before getting close to Edelgard - "But... What's with your looks?" -

"It's a long story, one that in this moment I don't feel like telling" -

"Well, whatever happened to you I'm sure we can try to fix it" - Ozpin said - "Now, why did you bringed her here?" -

"I just wanted to show her around, I thought she might like it" - Ruby said, taking responsability over Edelgard's presence there.

"I understand... Glynda, please take them to their room, I want to have a talk with her alone" -

"Alright. Team RWBY, follow me please" -

After the woman identified as Glynda left, Ozpin took Edelgard to his office to have a private chat with her.

"After looking at you for a second, I can tell you're not from here, and you don't look like anything I've seen in the past" -

"I trust you don't see people like me every day" -

"You said before that you had a story to tell. I want to hear it. I promise that I won't judge" -

"With all due respect Ozpin, you're going to hate me if you hear what I've done" -

"Edelgard, I've made more mistaked than any man, woman or child in this planet. I promise you, whatever you have to say I won't judge" -

With that, Edelgard decided to tell him everything. In her current state, there was no reason to hide anything.

Her childhood, her time at the Academy, her crowning as Emperor, the 5 year was and her death at the hands of Dimitri, after which he ended up in a field just outside of Beacon.

"That's all Ozpin, that's my story so far" -

"An interesting one to say the least Edelgard" -

"I understand if, after all I told you, you don't want me here" -

"Nonsense. In fact, I want you to stay here at Beacon" -

"You're clearly out of your mind" -

"I told you before, I made more mistakes than every man, woman and children on the planet, and if I was able to redeem myself and come back, then you sure can as well" -

"Redeem myself? But Ozpin, I..." -

"Edelgard, I want you to teach here at Beacon" -

"I beg your pardon?" -

"You hold a lot of experience from your previous life. You could waste it, wandering in Remnant with no purpose or you could put it to good use and instruct the future Hunters of this Academy" -

"Do you really trust in me to do this? Look at me, I stopped being human long ago" -

"Everyone deserves a second chance Edelgard, and I think you could use a new one" -

Edelgard knew that Ozpin wasn't going to drop the matter, and she felt he was making some sense. She still remembered everything, including her battle and magic experience.

"I accept your proposal then. I hope I can put my experience to some use" -

"I'm glad Edelgard, I feel like this is going to be the beggining of a very interesting relationship" -

"I'll trust you Ozpin, don't betray that trust" -

"Join me, I'll show you where you would be sleeping.

Like that, Ozpin guided Edelgard to the dorms of the students of Beacon and pointed her to a room where she would be sleeping, close to the students so she could keep an eye on them. He also asked her if she wanted more confortable clothes as staying all time with her armor would be unconfortable. She said that it wasn't necesary, and she would get clothes for her later.

After Ozpin left, Edelgard stood in her room, standing in the center while thinking for about a minute before sitting and starting to remove her armor. As she did this, she noticed that the Hegemon's influence didn't just stayed in her armor, as her entire right arm was now covered in the same black skin that her armor, and she couldn't remove it.

"I didn't think it would stay like this, I guess this is my punishment of some sort. Funny" -

/ Next day, classroom /

"Hey, did you hear? Apparently we're getting a new teacher" - Ruby said as she arrived and sat down her the rest of her team.

"Really? I thought we alredy had enough with one" - Weiss said, confused.

"Whoever he is, I hope he's someone cool" - Yang said before a door opened at the top of the classroom.

"Hello everyone, my name is Edelgard von Hresvelg, and I will be your teacher starting from now on" - the white hair woman said after she entered, now dressing in a rather different way. Instead of her armor, she was now wearing a red sweater, black jeans and shoes and with a white glove in her right hand to cover the black part.

"Wait... She!?" - Team RWBY all said at the same time, surprised about her.

"Oh, hi girls. Sit down please, the class will now begin" - Edelgard said as she started to remember the way teachers taught at the Officers Academy.
