Hello there.

Godzilla wearing glasses: [His luck is at least a B- or B]

See, I'd agree with you if we were talking about LN Hajime, but I admit I wanted to give him a slightly lower luck(B plus to be exact, but I can't add a 'plus' in my documents, and as anyone who was using this site for any length of time knows... it's obnoxiously inconvenient in some areas, and I know for a fact that a 'plus' can be added as I saw many fics with it, but so far I had no such luck, it even got to a point where I was considering making an offering out of virgin blood seasoned with orphan tears to Admins in hopes of appeasing them, but I had a feeling they'd still wouldn't be satisfied... I'm joking of course... or am I?!).

JOJO: [Dark abyss of wish fulfillment and depravity is more applicable to Webnovel IMO.]

Yes, I kinda agree... but then again I was talking about Fanfiction in general(I mean just look at Wattpad, if that isn't a Dark Abyss of depravity then I don't know what is.).

Chapter 2: Ready Perfectly.

I'm currently lying on the ground in the pool of my own blood with Rebellion being very lovingly jammed into my chest, pinning me to the ground.

I'm sure all of you would like to hear the story of how I got impaled by my own sword.

Well then, let us turn the clock back a few days ago and find out...

A few days ago.

After accepting my very first quest I started to make my preparations.

Firstly I wanted to see just how much(if at all) I'll be able to level up by doing nothing but push-ups, sit-ups and squats, so I took of my upper half of clothing(cause sweat can be stinky) and put it onto the ground, but first I decided to check something.

'[Perception].'

[Perception]

Plain Coat - an unremarkable trench coat made out of plain cloth.

Defense: E-

Durability: D

Weight: E-

Type: Clothing

Form: Coat

Enchantment(Skyrim): [None]

Enchantments(Minecraft): [None]

And also...

Plain Shirt - an unremarkable shirt made out of plain cloth.

Defense: E-

Durability: D

Weight: E-

Type: Clothing

Form: Shirt

Enchantment(Skyrim): [None]

Enchantments(Minecraft): [None]

'*Sigh* I figured, but didn't want to assume.' I thought, a little disappointed that my Coat and Shirt are nothing special... then again it was mentioned in the LN that the Royal Treasury had nothing for Hajime, despite him having an absurdly common Job, so it stands to reason that they'd also have absolutely nothing for someone with an unknown one.

I then put both of them into my [Inventory] and started doing physical exercises.

About a day later.

I may have gravely underestimated the power of a good background music.

Had it not been for my [Music Player] I would have no doubt succumbed to boredom already, but as it is now I have at least one way of dealing with it.

If you're wondering how it works... then I have no idea, but what I know is that for some reason it doesn't muffle other sounds, so you can simultaneously listen to music while also being able to hear other things perfectly fine.

Solence - Good F*king Music

"~All you need is just some good fucking music that you headbang to.~"

"~To forget all your problems and what's bothering you.~"

"~So come on, raise the volume, it will soon feel good.~"

"~Alright, alright, alright.~"

...Yes I'm singing to myself. Normally I'd just be humming, but right now I wanted to see if I could get a Bard Class.

The rest of my day went with nothing noteworthy happening, except I used [Transmute] to make some dumbbells out of surrounding rocks(I used [Perception] and learnt that it's Taur ore) in hopes of slightly improving the results of my training.

Another day later.

Not much has changed compared to my previous day, maybe except I got tired of listening to some Good F*king Music, so I changed it to Through Fire - Stronger.

As a side note: I don't necessarily tire by doing physical exercise, but mental fatigue is still a thing, so I need to take a break every now and again.

Also no Bard Class for me... at least not yet.

Few days later.

Still no progress on Bard Class.

I also finally grew sick and tired of doing physical exercise, so I decided to finally check up on my progress.

'Huh, 3 levels. Not bad I guess, but I feel it could have been a little more.' I was of course a little disappointed that all of the training yielded in only 3 levels.

Since I confirmed that I can Level Up with just physical exercise I could in theory sit here and grind until I reach a triple digit level... but I don't have the patience of a Saint, so I decided to move on to practicing with my weapons, but not before putting on my coat without the shirt cause I wanted to at least resemble a certain Devil Hunter, after that I picked Rebellion to give it a few practice swings, but something quite unexpected happened...

When I first had The Rebellion in my hands after choosing it as my Starter Kit nothing happened, but now that I picked it with the intent to get accustomed to it I felt a weird sensation in my mind, and then I got the basic knowledge of swordsmanship as well as a very vivid image of basic [Combos] from Devil May Cry being engraved into my memory.

'Hmm, I was wondering how using [Power Up Shop] to buy [Combos] would work, but now that this happened I think I got my answer.'

I then used [Perception] on Rebellion to see if it holds any special properties I didn't know about.

[Perception]

Rebellion - a powerful Devil Arm given to Dante by his father Sparda.

(The sword currently lays dormant).

Attack: C

Durability: EX

Weight: C

Type: Devil Arm

Form: Sword

Element: Magic

Enchantment(Skyrim): [None]

Enchantments(Minecraft): [None]

"Lays dormant?" I couldn't help but say this out loud as an idea that could easily backfire popped inside of my head.

I lodged The Rebellion into the ground and got close to it in order to cut my finger a little.

You see, in DMC 3 [SPOILERS] after his fight with Vergil, and in the cutscene that followed, Dante got impaled by a dormant Rebellion which, due to his blood, awakened his demonic powers, and it also unlocked [Devil Trigger] for the player.

I was curious whether or not my Gamer Skills borrow traits only from the gameplay or if it also borrows traits from cutscenes, and right now I was trying to replicate the cutscene with a little bit of blood to play it safe...

Suffice it to say that it backfired at me... quite literally.

After cutting my finger on the edge of the sword I smeared the blood onto the blade, after that I backed away and The Sword started glowing in a crimson red aura.

An ominous feeling of Foreboding came upon me as the blade unlodged itself and started slowly levitating... before coming blade first at me with great speed.

Like I said earlier "it backfired at me... quite literally.".

Before I even had a chance to process what was happening The Rebellion was already making sweet love to my chest with it's business end, pinning me to the ground.

And that's the story of how I got impaled by my own sword...

Back to the present.

I was bleeding... a lot.

'Fuck!' [Gamer's Spirit] prevented me from panicking, but that only made things worse as I was fully aware of what's happening.

There was a huge amount of pain in my chest area.

'Shit, it hurts!' I gritted my teeth and started trying to occupy my mind with something, as years of stubbing my toe on the corner of furniture had taught me how to deal with pain, but then I suddenly stopped feeling any pain.

'Oh thank God, it doesn't hurt.' at first I was relieved, but then I realized...

'Oh shit! It doesn't hurt!'

Pain is one of the most pronounced indicators that you're still alive, now if you put two and two together...

I looked into upper left corner of my vision and what I saw made me not-feel-so-good.

'How the hell did it took so much of my HP?! Was it a critical hit?! What kind of a sick joke is that?!' [Gamer's Spirit] could no longer suppress the panic I felt, as my HP started approaching 0% at an alarming rate.

I tried to pull Rebellion out of my chest... the key word being 'tried'.

There are only 3 things I'm truly afraid of:

-Insects(I have a terrible case of Entomophobia, but there are a few exceptions: Ants, Bees, Butterflies and a couple more)

The trip to Haltina's Labirynth is definitely going to be a 'fun' experience... note my sarcasm.

-Spiders(As if my Entomophobia wasn't enough The Universe decided to keep fucking me dry by giving me an even more terrible case of Arachnophobia... FUCK THOSE BASTARDS, FUCK THEM HARD!!!)

-And lastly... Blood(Out of my 3 phobias this one is the weakest and sometimes I don't even register it, but not this time unfortunately)

I usually tend to get a bit dizzy when I see a lot of blood, and currently my eyes were subjected to an abundance of red liquid, so unfortunately I couldn't do jack-shit to the sharp object in my chest.

Once my HP dropped to 0% my consciousness started to slowly fade away.

'Is this really how I'll die? I doubt even a week has passed since I got here.'

'Whether it was Gods of Isekai, or some people who put me into the Matrix I'm sure they're laughing their asses off right now.' a day or two ago I started debating whether I got dragged into the Matrix, or if I really got Isekaid, but right now that seems so pointless.

'Ah, my eyelids are starting to get heavier and breathing is getting increasingly difficult, it's not even funny.' I started to lose consciousness, but before I blacked out I saw something in the corner of my vision...

My MP started to deplete for some reason, and at an even more alarming rate than my HP did.

'...Huh?—' unfortunately I didn't have much time to think about the reason for my MP depletion, as I finally blacked out.

That's also why I missed a notification...

[Attention!]

[Devil Trigger] has been unlocked.

Rebellion's crossguard extended out of the ribs and it's single-spiked pommel split open into several, aside from that both of the skulls mouths opened as if they were screaming and their eyes began glowing crimson red.

My eyes shot wide open and my whole body got up by creating an involuntary shockwave of Mana, which launched me off of the ground and it also sent Rebellion flying straight into a wall.

It was with great effort, but I was taking deep breaths and took a good look at myself and I could see... red?

There was blood on my chest, but it's not the reason for my shock at seeing red, as I started glowing with the same red Aura Rebellion did when I smeared my blood on it.

The Aura then began pulsing in a rhythm akin to a heartbeat, and after it did breathing got even harder.

I started to slowly fall unconscious again, so I desperately fought the urge to close my eyes.

I looked into the corner of my vision to see how am I still alive.

'How the Hell did it start raising?' I was confused for a moment until I saw that when my MP was falling down my HP was raising up, so there was only one answer...

For some reason my MP was being exchanged for my HP, but what is that reason? I didn't have an answer for that and my rapidly fading consciousness wasn't helping me find it.

I tried resisting the urge to just let myself fall unconscious... Why? Well, I can be very stubborn about certain things.

It was frustrating how my body wouldn't listen to me when I told it to stay awake, that frustration was getting bigger before turning into anger, then the anger turned into rage, and the rage finally turned into wrath.

As I was progressively getting angrier the intensity of the red Aura surrounding me was also growing, before making it look like I was surrounded by a raging blood-red inferno.

I clenched my fists so hard the knuckles turned white, I gritted my teeth so hard I wouldn't be surprised if they'd snap, I forced myself to remain awake as hard as I could...

I wasn't aware of it, but at the time a certain Berserker Class skill was rapidly getting it's rank increased, it also helped in letting me hang on to consciousness for a few extra seconds.

Finally my wrath reached a breaking point, and so I released an angry shout...

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" my voice became slightly distorted and the red Aura around me exploded, leaving me in quite a curious state...

My body became red and black, my snow-white hair turned into a tusk-like crest, and my body physique became much more bare, my feet got clawed toe-nails and I was surrounded by a red foggy Aura. My coat turned completely red and instead of plain cloth, it was made out of crimson scales, and it also felt as if it became a part of me...

This curious state of mine lasted for only a second or two because I finally ran out of Mana which meant that I could no longer resist the urge to fall unconscious, so I fell down on my face...

Later.

I slowly opened my eyes.

'Huh?' I woke up, curious as to how I was still alive, but then I remembered how my MP was being exchanged for my HP.

'What exactly happened back then?' as I was thinking this, something I haven't seen in a couple of days happened.

[Help]

You have unlocked [Devil Trigger].

I blinked for a few times, before checking [The Game] list.

The Game:

-Devil May Cry Series [Devil Arms] [Style] [Combos] [Colored Orbs] [Power Up Shop] [Devil Trigger]

-Skyrim [Skill Trees] [Crafting Skills(Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy)] [Waiting] [{Locked}Shouts] [{Locked}Standing Stones]

-Minecraft [Crafting] [Alchemy] [Enchanting(Experience)] [Drops] [Mining] [Building] [{Off}Survival]

"Fuck yeah! It worked!" I was overjoyed at seeing the {Locked} status being gone, all of the panic and fear I felt when I got stabbed by Rebellion gone at my apparent success.

'Can I please get an exact description of [Devil Trigger]?' since I was in a very good mood at my show of genius I decided to ask My Guide very politely.

Devil Trigger - a special power which allows to release inner supernatural potential. In this form, the physical and magical attributes are amplified, and there may be access to upgrades or even additions to normal abilities like flying or hovering.

It uses Mana to maintain itself.

'It has no rank?' I asked perplexed.

[Help]

Abilities gained through the use of [The Game] can only be improved through the means supplied by [The Game].

"Nah, I think anything more would be too broken." - Top 10 famous quotes said moments before a disaster.

'What's the damn point of trying to balance an ability which can literally endlessly improve?!'

...Data not found?

'IT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION DAMMIT!!!!!' I was very angry at [The Game] but there was at least one silver lining...

[Attention!]

[Berserker] Class has Leveled Up.

I immediately stopped being angry, because the notification reminded me of something.

'Oh yeah, I forgot to check it out earlier.' I then focused on making my [Class] appear.

Class(Spare levels: 9):

Synergist(Common) Lvl 2

Skills: Transmute[Rank:D]

Berserker(Rare) Lvl 2

Skills: Mad Enhancement[Rank:C] - Battle Continuation[Rank:E]

Monster Hybrid(Unnatural) Lvl 6

Skills: Mana Manipulation[Rank:E] - Iron Stomach[Rank:E] - Lightning Field[Rank:E] - Intimidation[Rank:E]

I had a blank look on my face.

'...Rank C already? Damn, I have some anger issues.' it was at that moment that I realized...

'Wait a minute, weren't Skills on Tortus supposed to be some innate talents that you were born with, so there was no way to increase them with the exception of derivative Skills?'

Correct.

'Then does that mean I'm quite literally the only person whose Skills can improve outside of derivative Skills?'

Most likely.

All of the sour mood I had towards [The Game] for trying to be balanced when it can literally improve indefinitely was gone, as I had to admit that my skillset was waaaaayyyy too broken.

My lips curled up into an evil smile.

'Alright, time to abuse my Skills maliciously.'

'Superhot. The Witcher 3. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. God of War Series. Doom Eternal.'

[Attention!]

Superhot has been added to [The Game] section.

The Witcher 3 has been added to [The Game] section.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been added to [The Game] section.

[Attention!]

God of War(2018) has been added to [The Game] section.

[Attention!]

Doom Eternal has been added to [The Game] section.

This is how [The Game] is looking now.

The Game:

-Superhot [Reactive Timing] [Glass Cannon]

-The Witcher 3 [Combat] [Alchemy(Toxicity)] [Witcher Senses] [Gwent]

-Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice [Second Chance]

-God of War(2018) [Weapons] [Runic Attacks] [Enchantments] [Drops]

-Doom Eternal [Guns] [Glory Kills] [No Reloading]

"Hehe..." I couldn't help but chuckle at seeing [Gwent] be recognized as a game mechanic by [The Game] but then I also noticed something.

'I said God of War Series, so why is there only God of War(2018) in there?'

[Help]

Several compatibility issues were detected with [Devil May Cry Series] so most of the modules were rejected.

Switch [Devil May Cry Series] for [God of War Series]?

Yes/No

'I suppose it makes some sense, after all both of them are from the same genre(except GoW[2018]), but then why the Hell are all of those Crafting Skills working together?' I asked this while simultaneously rejecting the pop-up, because come on "Trick! Sword! Guard!" anyone?

...Data not found?

'Fumu, sounds like bullshit to me.'

Sorry.

'*Sigh* No matter, I'm probably just over-thinking this.' I decided to stop looking for any kind of logic to my abilities, after all it would probably result in an insultingly obvious answer like "It just works." or "...Magic I guess?".

'Can you tell me if [Glass Cannon] is what I think it is?'

Depends on what you're thinking.

'*Sigh* I'm thinking that it means I'll die after taking any kind of hit, but it also means I'll be dealing fuckload of damage.'

Yes, it's exactly what you're thinking.

'Got it.' I then proceeded to turn it off, along with a few other features.

This is how [The Game] looked once I was done with it.

'Now that I think about it, not all features seem to make it into [The Game].'

I noticed that less, and less features were making for some games and I wasn't talking about the ones that are {Locked} for example Skyrim has a few features in it's DLCs that aren't present here(Like Vampire Lord/Werewolf Perk Tree or Black Books), I'm not sure if it's because they are from DLCs, or if it's some other reason, but like I said earlier "I decided to stop looking for any kind of logic to my abilities", so it's something more of a curiosity than actual desire to know.

'Now to finally begin practicing combat, but first...'

I picked a random stone and threw it upwards, I meanwhile was making as little movement as possible.

The stone was seemingly falling in slow-motion, it was thanks to [Reactive Timing] and it wasn't really in slow-motion, it just seemed that way to me.

'Hmm, it's not completely stand-still.' I was intensely observing the slow-falling rock before coming to a somewhat logical conclusion.

'I guess [Reactive Timing] is counting my heartbeat and breathing as movement, so it's a little different than in Superhot, but still incredibly useful.'

Aside from counting my heartbeat and breathing as movement, I also found out that [Reactive Timing] is a toggleable ability(I toggled it subconsciously), unlike it's game counterpart which is permanently on, and it also takes a lot of focus to maintain it, so unfortunately I won't be able to live in permanent slow-motion.

'Now, to finally start practicing with my weapons.' I then went to pull out The Rebellion out of the wall it was lodged into.

I swung it a few times and I couldn't help but notice that despite never picking a sword in my entire life, I was able to swing it relatively skillfully, or at least compared to what I'd be able to do without my Gamer Job skills.

'Now is the moment of truth.'

"Swordmaster!" a quick flash of Red light surrounded me as I activated the Style, nothing blinding however, and it felt as if some mental switch was turned because I got even more skillful at swinging my weapon.

After maybe an hour or two of constant swinging I decided to move on to another [Style].

"Trickster!" another flash of Red light surrounded me, and it felt as if another mental switch was turned, but instead of getting more skillful at swinging my sword I seemed to get much more agile and my spatial awareness seemed to improve as well.

I then started jumping around, running, doing back-flips(I fucked up one jump and ended up falling on my head losing some HP as a result) and more in the cave I was in for another hour or two.

After I was done I went to pick up Ebony and Ivory and switched into another [Style].

"Gunslinger!" after another Red flash of light yet another mental switch was turned, this time however my eyesight got improved.

I then started shooting with my guns at some random Glowstones in the wall to improve my accuracy, but I also noticed something curious...

'There's barely any recoil.' I didn't know whether it was thanks to the Gunslinger Style, My Gamer Skills, or my quite high(compared to a regular human) Strength Stat.

The last of the 4 basic Styles wasn't really suited for practicing alone, so I'd have to get out and fight to use it, but as all of the earlier Styles showed me there is a mental switch, so I wanted to get used to it before going out and risking myself(however unlikely that seemed).

"Royal Guard!" with another Red flash of light, one more mental switch has been turned, this one focused on defense and aside from that I could feel my body getting tougher.

Now all 4 of the basic Styles have been tried out, but there was one more I was curious about. It technically doesn't count as Dante's Style(at least normally) instead being the only Style of Vergil, but it's still a Style I wanted to check out, that is of course if it works.

"Dark Slayer!" the flash of light this time was Arctic Blue instead of Red, and the mental switch this time was very similar to the one Swordmaster gave me, but this one felt more... calm, collected and unlike Swordmaster it felt restricted to a certain fighting style, aside from that this Style seemed to absolutely reject all firearms as Ebony and Ivory slipped out of my hands, despite me having a firm grip on them, and whenever I tried to pick them up they would just slip again.

'Hmm, so I don't need The Yamato to use it.' I thought this, while deactivating Dark Slayer.

'Now for the last thing I'll do before finally getting out of this cave.'

'Turn [Magic Assist] on.' I gave a mental command to activate [Magic Assist] in order to try to remedy the issue of getting solely focused on only on thing.

[Attention!]

[Magic Assist] is now turned on.

I then spent the next few hours trying to get a good feeling on the Skills which use magic:

-Using [Lightning Field] I found out that for some bullshit reason I'm able to accelerate bullets of Ebony and Ivory, but even with all of that I doubt they are as strong as LN Hajime's Donner and Schlag.

-I activated [Devil Trigger] consciously for the first time and saw that it drained my Mana at an outrageous rate(which left me with a slight headache), but the boost it provided was simply put 'unfair' as it: Increased my Strength, Increased my Speed, Increased my Defense, Increased my Reflexes, allowed me to Regenerate and boosted every weapon's damage I had with Mana.

-I also used [Transmute] to mass-produce simple daggers... Why? Well...

Smithing has increased to 23

Alteration has increased to 19

Yep, Skyrim's [Skill Tress] can apparently work with just [Transmute] Skill(they work with others, but I only noticed it with [Transmute]), but unlike their game counterparts they don't increase my level, instead they just boost my efficiency in some areas, so had Hajime not choose the Synergist class, because I know I wouldn't bother taking it so early, I wouldn't have discovered it so soon.

You see I tend to play games in a certain way:

-Early Game: Use every means possible to gain POWER for yourself and don't bother too much with the equipment(just pick whatever is better than your current one).

-Mid Game: You should probably start looking for a better equipment, but keep mostly strengthening yourself.

-End Game: Yeah, if you don't have good equipment by this point then you fucked up along the way. Restarting it is.

Of course that's only the general idea, because not all games can be played this way, but still equipment is an important part of the game, second only to Player Character's POWER, so this little 'waste' of levels that Hajime made was a blessing in disguise.

'Hajime I'm sorry I called you a chuuni bastard.' I mentally apologized to my predecessor, while putting 3 Levels into Synergist Class to hopefully enhance the efficiency of [Transmute].

Class(Spare levels: 6):

-Synergist(Common) Lvl 5

Skills: Transmute[Rank:D]

-Berserker(Rare) Lvl 2

Skills: Mad Enhancement[Rank:C] - Battle Continuation[Rank:E]

-Monster Hybrid(Unnatural) Lvl 6

Skills: Mana Manipulation[Rank:E] - Iron Stomach[Rank:E] - Lightning Field[Rank:E] - Intimidation[Rank:E]

And raise the efficiency it did as I continued to pop another 300 to 500 daggers, then I turned them into raw material and made another few hundred daggers, rinse and repeat until I ran out of Mana.

And this is how my [Skill Trees] looked like once I was done.

Smithing has increased to 34

Alteration has increased to 23

Yep, they got quite high considering how little Mana I had when I started power-leveling them.

After those few hours I had a good feeling of how magic worked, but I still didn't think it was good enough to be used in high-stress environment, so no combat use for now just to be safe.

'Now all that's left is wait until my MP regenerates and I can finally get out of this cave.' I layed down on the ground and closed my eyes in order to give my mind some rest, because I had nothing better to do except just wait, so I figured I might as well take a break early.

That was also when a familiar pop-up appeared.

Would you like to [Wait]?

'Hmm... Why not?' I saw no harm in it, so I chose to accept the pop-up.

How long would you like to [Wait]?

'Until my MP is full... but I guess that's a little too vague, so how about 3 hours?'

Proceeding to [Wait] (3 hours)

I felt a familiar feeling of losing consciousness at a stupidly high speed.

'Well... shit.' were my last thoughts before I blacked out.

End Chapter

Hi.

I don't really have a lot to talk about, but I am curious about 2 things:

1 - How many of you actually read the Novel?

And 2 - How is my grammar?(English isn't my first language, but most people around me keep telling me that I speak, and write, in it better than in my first language... the thing is that all of those people aren't really good at English themselves, so I didn't really take their opinions too seriously.)

Don't feel pressured to answer any of them though.
