The next morning, I woke up to a disturbing sight, Yuri had fully projected herself into my room and was laying beside me on my bed.

"Ahh… Yuri! How did you-"

She chuckles.

"Hmhmhm, good morning master. Did you have a peaceful sleep?"

I stared blankly and reacted.

"M-Master? Now wait just a sec, I ain't your master."

"Technically… you are. According to our magical contract-"

"Woah, I'm gonna pause you right there. CONTRACT? Since when is this a contract? I can't be a magical girl. Those types of things don't work in the real world. Well, there are japanese live action animes that use special effects for their transformation sequences, but still-"

"Exactly, only you are a full blown goddess. Over the years, the contract policy for older girls has changed. (A/N: Yes this is a Modoka Magica reference, also I don't own the franchise) Sooo yeah."

"Not cool Yuri, not cool. You literally took advantage of me while I was asleep. What do you have to say for yourself."

"Oh come on, lighten up. I just gave you an opportunity of a lifetime that many other girls fantasize about. Plus, you'll get to meet your favorite 'waifus and husbandos at a snap of a finger."

I perked my ears at the mention of waifus and husbandos. "Say what now."

"Uh huh, in order for you to visit other universes to meet them, you just have to think of the universe you want to go to. Then snap your fingers to summon a realm portal and you'll be transported to that place."

"Alyssa! Breakfast!" Mom shouted.

I glanced over at my alarm which read 8:35am

"Oh crap, I've got to get moving or I'll be late for school. Thanks a lot. BE DOWN A MINUTE MOM!"

I raced around my room getting changed, then headed downstairs for breakfast with my school bag already in hand.

"Love to stay and eat, but I gotta go. Homeroom starts in 15 minutes. Thankfully school is right down the street."

I grabbed the two pieces of toast and rushed out the door. My mother sighed as I bolted outside, not getting the moment to wish me luck at school.

At School

I gave it my all to make it on time, before the homeroom bell rang. No sooner as I got there the doors were already closed. I knocked on the heavy red doors with metal push latches, hopefully someone will let me in. One of the teachers was walking by the main entrance and heard my repeating knocks. She went over and opened the door. I walked through entering the building.

"Miss -, so delighted to see you. Shouldn't you be in your homeroom class by now, it's nearly time for morning announcements."

"Hahe, I was a little late getting ready. I'll see ya later Mrs. -." I walked away in an embarrassed expression. 'Of all the days I had to run into my Math Teacher. This has not been a good day for me.'

But the bad day still continued…

History Class

The teacher started to begin today's textbook lesson. Joy, as if I get enough ancient history with all this Atlantean crap already.

"Atlantis, a likely mythical island nation mentioned in Plato's dialogues "Timaeus" and "Critias," has been an object of fascination among western philosophers and historians for nearly 2,400 years."

My ears perked up at the mention of Timaeus and Critias. 'Hold on, Timaeus and Critias were the ancient warriors that defended Atlantis for thousands of years. Am I going crazy or both our actual history is the exact same. Wicked.' Since the teacher's lectures were always super drool and boring when it came to explaining stuff. So I decided to take a short nap.

DREAM

As I began dreaming, my mind was transported to a realm that seemed oddly familiar, but it wasn't what I had expected. The imagery was of a small city where little kids and teenagers were playing with cards that had pictures of monsters on them and numbers on both the left and right side.

I looked in shock at what I was witnessing…

'How did I get here?'
'You portal hopped.' Yuri answered.
'But how, I didn't snap.'
'It can happen in two ways, once while you are sleeping here in the real world, and the other by actually physically snapping your fingers.'
'Now… ya tell me!' I said, sarcastically.

I began to look around my surroundings, taking in what was happening. Then it suddenly came to me. I was in the Yugioh Universe. Tingling with excitement, I started to show my happiness.

'Oh, this is too sweet, I've literally stepped into the coolest 90's anime to date.'
'And...that would be?' Yuri asked, very confused.
'Card dueling, nuff said. Now, since we're here why don't we interact with some of these people. Ooo… and I know just who those people are gonna be.'

I immediately dashed away in search for a place called Domino High School.

'Should've told her that inferring with certain characters could spell disasterous for the real world as well. Ah well, she'll have to learn the hard way.'

Domino High School

I snooped around Domino City, basking in it's lively atmosphere. Every corner you turned you would see card duel after card duel. Affortuately, it was just right before the announcement of Maximillion Pegasus's Duelist Kingdom..

'Perfect timing.' I realized something. 'Oh wait I'm dreaming this, of course it would be just before Pegasus's whole tournament. Hm… ah ha, I'll quietly insert myself into the story, what harm could it do?'

Yuri kept silenced letting my actions play out, until I finally found Domino High School.

'Bingo. Now… let's see who to interact with first.'

As I was standing in the middle of a bustling hallway full of students deep in thought, until out of the blue someone ended up bumping into me. A tall boy with light brown hair with light blue eyes while wearing the male school uniform that immediately captures my gaze. I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Ah, sorry."

The male student didn't respond and just kept on walking.

'Ugh, the nerve of that guy. Walking around like that, as if he almost owns the whole school. But… yet again. He is the main antagonist for Season 1.'

'Who is he ?' asked Yuri, curious to find out.

'Seto-Freaking-Kaiba. He is the one of Gozaburo Kaiba heirs to the Kaiba Corporation along with his young brother Mokuba of course. However, his brother doesn't make his cameo until later in the series.'

'If I'm not mistaken, you seem very compatible with him.' Yuri pointed out.

'Me? being compatible with that snobbish jerk, yeah no thank you.'

'I don't know, you may deny your own feelings, but your heart knows what it wants.'

Then I heard my name being called from the History Teacher, as I drifted back into reality.

Reality

"Miss Alyssa, Miss Alyssa."

Before the teacher was about to say my name a third time, I shot my head upright.

"Huh what, I'm awake."

The entire class chuckles to themselves as I come out of my stupor.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, would you care to give your answer to the question from your textbook please?"

I glanced at the textbook question.

"What was the name of the ancient stone that brought destruction to the Atlantean race ?"

I gave my spoken answer.

"The Seal Of Orichalcos."

"Correct."

'Wait a minute, the question didn't say that the first time. What's going on here?'

'The anime world is slipping into the real world's history. Someone is either messing with the fabric of time and space or your universe is in grave parallel.'

'My thoughts exactly, but I don't have a darn clue as to whom it could be.'

The period bell chimed as the Teacher announced. "Continue reading this chapter, and study hard, we'll be having a period quiz later this week."

Everyone groaned and gathered their stuff.

'Ah, thank goodness English class is up next. Hopefully nothing weird or freaky will happen."

I'd made sure I had everything before exiting and started to wander through the hallway. Although… things seemed very out of place, not like it was the new norm or anything.

'What does this class teach exactly ?'
'English, you know how to speak properly, only not in an elegant manner.'
'Oh, like how we're communicating now ?'
'Eh, sort of.'

I continued walking in silence toward the next classroom.

English Class

"Okay, on the docket for today's assignments is learning how to use transitions in a five paragraph essay. Please turn to page 394 in your workbooks."

The class took out their workbooks including myself and quickly turned to the correct page.
'Now it begins…'
'By the sounds of your tone, I'm hinting a bit of skepticism towards this topic.'
'Transitions weren't my biggest forte when it came to sentences.'
'Which means your gonna end up falling asleep again.'
'Right you are, Yuri. I've gotta see where I end up next. Oo.. I hope somewhere that is a little more actiony.'

And before I knew it, I fell asleep again.

DREAM

Back to where I had left off, Seto Kaiba was heading off somewhere else instead of class.

'Hm… what is that rich bastard up to this time.'
'Maybe he got an important phone call that he had to take care of.'
'Nah, it wouldn't be that clique for him to skip a class. Although, he is... the type of arrogant jerk to always think he's better than everyone else.'

But out of the blue, I stumbled into him once again.

"Watch where your going you little punk."
"Well-I-never. Now see here, you narcissistic-stuck up-dragon lover." 'Ah crap, I just told off Seto Kaiba, what was I thinking!'
'Apparently you weren't.'

Seto walked up to me and forced a kiss on my lips, which then caused my heart to skip a beat. Then he turns and walks the other way, leaving me quite speechless.

'What the hay just happened? Did-I get kissed by Seto Kaiba ?'
'It did look that way'
'All I did was try to apologize, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted to. And yet his kiss felt warm. No, no. Don't fall for his beautiful cold blue eyes and snazzy white and black trench coat.'

My heart starts beating again only this time a little quicker. 'Neh, damn it, why do the villainous characters have to be so… attractive.'
'Told yah, the heart wants what it wants.'
'Oh shut up Yuri.'

Reality
I instantly woke up from the dream, finding out that class was over, then I began to stretch from being in a hunched position on my desk.

"Miss Brewster, would you stay behind for a second before you head to your next class."
'Uh-oh this doesn't look good.'

I felt something in the pit of my stomach, like your intuition is letting you know something up. So I simply walked towards the teacher's desk.

"What's up?"
"That's the 2nd time you've fallen asleep in class. Is everything alright at home?"

I wanted to lie, but a blue pendant that I wore around my neck was compelling me to tell the honest truth.

'What is this? Something is blocking me to not let me lie. What gives?'
"The truth is ma'am, I've been having late study sessions in order to keep up, and that's why I was falling asleep all the time."
"Thank you for being honest with me, Miss Brewster. As long as nothing is disrupting you from getting a school education, I guess I can let this slide. Run along now, or you'll be late."

I quickly turned around and headed for the hallway.

"Pwfh, that was a close call."
'You need to better console yourself when your dream dropping' (get it, kingdom hearts ref)
'Seriously Yuri, this shouldn't even be happening. The real world and the anime world are colliding with each other. It would create utter chaos, if any of the more things start to go arye. My thoughts are I'm gonna have to keep certain one from crossing in our world.'

I pause in the now empty hallway.

'You don't think… the Dazzlings from Equstristra Girls would…'
'They possibly well could, just keep your ears and eyes peeled.'
'Cause… that would definitely spell trouble. BIG TIME!'
'What harm could those girls dish out?'
'Apparently turn friends into enemies by feeding off negative emotions, and high school is usually the epiphany of drama.'

I spoke too soon, someone who looked a little like Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk walking through the hall.

'Oh shiitake mushrooms.'
'Hm, you seem pretty content with this…'
'Yah think, it took Twilight and her friends including Sunset Shimmer to help defeat them. In the real world that could be an unclear possibility.'
'With the blue pendant, nothing is impossible.'
'I beg to differ with that statement.'

Adagio explained to her sisters as they strolled about the school unnoticed.

"Okay girls, there is a human who apparently possesses an amulet that can travel to other universes outside of our own and we need to find it."

Aria intimately intervened, "But Adago, we don't know what this human girl even looks like."

A huge smell from the school Cafeteria reached the nose of Sonta, making her widely grin from ear to ear.

"Ooh… I smell Tacos, it must be Taco Tuesday."
"Enough...Sonta, you love Tacos, we get it!" Adago said arrogated. "Let's begin searching this whole school, it's bound to be here somewhere."
I begin to panic. "They're looking for me, I.. I.. gotta come up with a plan to get rid of them. AND FAST!"
'You could summon the same Equestrian magic that defeat them by thinking about it and then disperse the magic from your pendent.'
"I am just a mere human Yuri, magic only exists with real professional magicians."
'I have faith, you can do this.'

I sighed confidently, and stood up quietly tipped toed the other way. Thankfully gym was next, so I hurried to the gymnasium.
