Basic Disclaimer: I do not own Romeo and Juliet, Romeo + Juliet, or Avatar: the Last Airbender, or any of the characters. I am not receiving any monetary value or any sort of payment from this and only do it out of pure boredom.
This story takes basic things from Romeo and Juliet, like the formatting of acts and scenes and the content of those acts and scenes. But this story takes place in a Modern AU, mainly because I don't want to write in 13th century Italy or try and tackle what kind of AU it would be for the Avatar canon. So in that way, the structure takes after mainly the 1996 movie Romeo + Juliet.
NO ONE DIES IN THIS FIC. SO, IN THAT WAY, IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE TRAGEDY ROMEO AND JULIET.
Except for Kya. She is already dead.
