Chapter 2 Part 1
Naruko wakes up its been a week of nothing but training and D-Rank missions witch are pretty much glorified chores and even with the new benefits of her new bloodline limit there are still people from the civilian population that want her dead "at least they cant get away with the outright abuse they used to but Jiji cant keep me out of the CRA forever so ill need a workaround to stay in control of my life" Naruko's training was pretty consistent
Consisting of kenjutsu, bojutsu, bakujutsu, marksmanship, and psychokinesis practice the team trains collectively in ninjutsu with team-building exercise's Hinata's primary focus is increasing the range of her byakugan and working on her juken technique also learning some standard medical ninjutsu Shino works on breeding the most prominent weakness out of his hive being lightning chakra the process was slow going as far as training was going it was more interesting than missions currently witch consisted of weeding gardens painting fences fetching groceries and other tasks that were well with in the abilities of the civilians but they were too lazy yo bother
And so we arrive at today's mission "Lavender lady in position" Hinata said into the radio "Black Bug in position" Shino's voice came over the radio calm as ever "Pixy blue In position" naruko sad into her earpiece the target was a fat cat retrieving this cat had become a bit of a weekly thing for Team 8 they hated the Tora mission this was the 4th time they'd done it and they'd been genin for only a month well it did just get easier every time for them
Naruko psychokineticly lefts Tora up while Shino and Hinata restrain the problem cat they turn the cat over to the fire daimyos wife Naruko thinks back to the first time Team 8 had to retrieve Tora everybody came back all scratched up and considered lady Fubuki's treatment of the cat a sort of Carma but now it's quite clear that she just doesn't know how to be a cat owner "um Lady Fubuki the reason Tora keeps running away is that you're smothering him" Naruko points out "oh really?" asked lady Fubuki "yes and instead of squeezing him try holding him gently hell be happier for it" explained Naruko Lady Fubuki seeming to understand "well you've given me somethings to try Hriuzen you have some bright young shinobi" declares lady Fubuki as she leaves and Team 7 enters
Demanding a higher-ranked mission Sasuke is the one making the demands "an elite like myself shouldn't be wasting time doing glorified chores I should be training to become stronger "give ME a higher-ranked mission" something worthy of my skill" Sasuke declared with sakura Shrieking her support and fangirl fantasies next to him mostly echoing his demands the Hokage responds by giving them some forms to fill out for each member of the team Kakashi included in triplicate "fill these out if I'm satisfied with what I get back I'll give your team a C Rank
As team 7 leaves the office team 8 is given a C Rank Hriuzen presses a button on his desk and says" send in the bridge builder." thru a side door which Naruko knows is a short term wait area "so you're putting me in the cate of an entomologist a blind girl, a porcelain doll?" naruko predictably did not like this commentary on her friends
"Oh look who used the one grown-up word for the day
Are we doing this or are you gonna crawl back in your bottle?"naruko shot back Tazuna did a very comical impersonation of a fish for about a minute till he realized he'd just had his mission request accepted "well shit kid I better not run my mouth our your gonna turn it around on me huh" Tazuna asked, "yep who are you anyway?" Naruko asked back Tazuna giving the initial explanation
About the wave mission as they pack up and leave
