Chapter 2: - News and A Global Effect
As soon as their Spells collided, it was a battle of wills. Who had more willpower?
A Golden Hue was forming where their spells met. And people who had died from Voldemort's wand were coming out. And a white forcefield was building between the death eaters and the fight combatants. One by one spirits of Voldemort's victims were coming.
Harry couldn't recognize plenty of them. But only 2 mattered the
most when he saw them.
His Mum and Dad.
Once they came out of Voldemort's Wand, they began.
"Harry dear, we are so proud of you. So proud of what you have become. Remember, even if we are not around, we still love you." His Mother began.
"Son, I am bloody proud of you. I just regret not being able to spend more time with you. But now, let's focus on the task at hand. You
must break the connection to Tom's wand when we say so, got that?"
"When you do that, we can blind Tom and and give you some time.
But it is only a few seconds. You have to Summon the cup and get
the Diggory Boy and your Butts out of here."
"But Dad who is Tom? Voldemort?"
"Yep"
"BREAK IT NOW!" His parents chorused.
Harry broke the connection and quickly ran towards Cedric. He grabbed him and his wand and yelled "ACCIO TRIWIZARD CUP!"
Voldemort heard that so he cast a few killing curses to what he thought is Harry's direction. After the mist faded, he just saw Harry go away with the Portkey and cursed.
But the Ouroboros sign is following him. Wherever he meets with Voldemort.
It is watching. But meanwhile, it has faded away.
Back at the entrance of the Maze, Harry, and Cedric both landed.
Everyone cheered but some screamed once they saw Cedric is lying on the ground. Motionless
They thought he is dead. Dumbledore rushed over to them and was
questioning Harry.
"Harry, are you alright? Is everything ok?"
"Yes sir."
"What Happened to Mr. Diggory?"
"He is knocked unconscious. But why I will have to tell you in private."
"That is fine by me Harry."
Then Cedric's Dad rushed over.
"CEDRIC! MY BOY! Potter! What did you do to him? TE- "
"That is Enough Amos. Harry here has already confided in me that your son has been knocked unconscious."
"Thats All?"
Albus turned to Harry for Confirmation
He nodded
Amos sighed in relief.
Moody rushed over.
"Albus, I will take Potter with me to the Hospital Wing. Diggory too while I am at it"
Albus narrowed his eyes suspiciously but said nothing
"Alright Alastor"
"Come on Potter, Up…up…that's the boy. Let me levitate Diggory too. Wait..."
So, he levitated Diggory as well and took both of them to his Office.
He quickly rushed in, locked the door, put quieting charms on the door. Softly levitated Cedric onto a Chair, Pushed Potter in a chair.
Albeit a bit roughly.
He then started rummaging through his cabinets for something Harry had no idea about. All the time his back turned to him and asked
"How did you like that Potter? The Duel? A taste of the Dark Lord's Power?"
"How did you feel? When you knew death was about to come?"
"Wait, how do you-?"
"Never mind how I know boy; All I am here to say is you escaped his hands yet again. But I am here to finish what he was about to do…"
"AVADA-
"EXPELLIARMUS!"
Moody's wand was snatched out of his hand and cluttered onto the
floor. While that happened, each occupant in the room had ringing ears because Albus Dumbledore arrived with Professors McGonagall
and Severus Snape.
"Severus, now"
At the order Snape chugged half the flask of Veritaserum into Moody's throat and Albus grabbed Moody by his collar and roughly
started interrogating him
"Who are you?"
Moody was resisting
"I said, WHO ARE YOU?"
He managed to gasp out "Barty…Crouch…Junior.."
"HOW DID YOU ESCAPE AZKABAN?"
"When my mother died..My father replaced her and my body with Polyjuice..I used Polyjuice to resemble her while she was dead in the cell..later she was found out and I was presumed dead…"
"DO YOU KNOW ANYONE IN AZKABAN WHO HAS BEEN FALSELY
ACCUSED OF THEIR CRIMES?"
"Yes….Ohh Yes….Sirius Black"
All of them in the room were shocked.
"What do you Know about him? Was he ever in the Death Eaters?"
"All I Know about him is that He never was a Death Eater"
"Severus, give him more"
"How much Dumbledore?"
"Few drops"
He gave that.
"WHERE IS ALASTOR MOODY?"
"In that trunk.."
"WHERE IS BARTY CROUCH SENIOR?"
"Dead…."
And then he collapsed. He fainted.
Albus and Snape rushed over to the Trunk.
They opened one,it had another one,they opened it again, another one,opened that,another trunk.
This went for a minute until the last trunk opened.
They all peered into the trunk. Albus was the one to speak
"ALASTOR ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"
"I am sorry Albus…"
"Don't worry,we will get you out"
"Minerva,take Mr.Potter and Diggory to the Hospital Wing, they need to be treated with medical assistance."
"Yes sure Albus."
"Severus,write a letter to Azkaban,we have a lost item we need to return."
Dumbledore then bound Barty to the chair and helped Moody out of the trunk.
In the Hospital Wing while Harry was being treated, he heard a rush of footsteps and heard some familiar voices.
"OUCH! RON! Why did you push me for?"
"I didn't mean it Hermione,I did it on accident"
"Fine."
"Hermione any idea in which Bed is Harry in?"
"Start looking."
Harry then yelled
"HERE!"
They heard him and rushed to him.
"Harry! Are you alright mate? Did ya win?"
"RON! He is Obviously NOT OK! And you care about him WINNING THE TOURNAMENT more than HIS WELL BEING?"
"Sheesh,Sorry Hermione. I was just curious..No need to imitate a banshee"
Harry laughed at that.
Hermione then turned and said.
"Harry,be completely honest with me. Did the task go well? Did you get any major injuries?"
"Yep and No"
"Alright. Harry,you had no idea how worried we were about you.."
Just as Harry said that, A famillar Long white Bearded wizard
bounded into the Hospital with a shaggy black mutt in tow and a
Short and Fat man with a Bowler's Hat.
