"What you just saw happen earlier to your friend was simply the act of coming back through a bonfire," the Crestfallen Warrior said. He is a pale man with dark hair, stubble, and a surly appearance, who wears helm-less Chain Set. He was speaking to the rest of Night Raid though Leone and Bulat weren't in their transformed states. "Just like the Undead, but I never knew that it would be caused by a normal human."
"Well, it did happen...I'm just glad that in the end, my best friend isn't dead…" Mine said as she still hugged Sheele.
"Ah, I see then. Say do you know where that undead guy went off to?" Tatsumi said.
"He was heading off to Undead Burg as he believes that is where the first Bell of Awakening is at. And yes it is there in Undead Parish after traveling through Undead Burg, but there are actually two Bells of Awakening," the Crestfallen Warrior said.
"Wait there's actually TWO of them?!" Tatsumi said with a surprised look on his face.
"Yes. However, the second one is at Blighttown in its ruins," the Crestfallen warrior then laughed but it was more of a bitter one. "Hah Hah Hah, he isn't the first you know, many more came before, thinking they were the chosen *sigh* and either simply died too many times and turned hollow or gave up and then turned hollow. It just seems pointless with this quest…"
"If you really doubt that guy then why do you tell us this?" Akame said with curiosity.
"Well, it is rather simple as it is the one thing that I know what to do. As if I do not continue to sit and give advice to those "chosen" then I'll simply turn hollow like those who embarked on their quest," the Crestfallen Warrior said. "Well, I think I said too much now. Off you go now to this accursed land. Hah Hah Hah…"
After hearing this, Night Raid decided to sit around the bonfire of Firelink Shrine.
"So...what do you think we should do now?" Bulat said as he was not wearing Incursio.
"Well...maybe if we follow the guy in knight armor...maybe we will be able to go back home?" Akame said.
"Eh, it's worth a shot…" Leone said.
"But in what direction did that guy go off to anyways?" Tatsumi said.
"I think he went toward that place over there?" Bulat said as he pointed toward the fortified town, which is Undead Burg.
"Yeah, I think that may or may not be Undead Burg…" Mine said.
"Well, what are we waiting for! To adventure!" Leone said with a grin on her face.
Night Raid got up and went toward the direction of Undead Burg all while the Crestfallen Warrior sat on a slab of rock and watched them leave.
'They will all just fail and give up in the end...I can tell…' the Crestfallen Warrior thought to himself.

-Meanwhile in Undead Burg-
A Hollow wearing the Hollow Warrior set, who was wielding a Broken Straight Sword and Cracked Round, was fighting against the Chosen Undead. As for the Chosen Undead himself, he was able to progress far into the location, but he only has four charges of Estus flask left meaning he can only drink it four times before it runs out.
The Hollow Warrior struck again at the Chosen Undead but he used his Tower Kite Shield to block the strike. He then used this opportunity to strike back and killed the Hollow Warrior. He also killed four other Hollow Warriors which was a hard thing to do as they were able to damage by hitting him all at once. He then drank his Estus flask which healed up his wounds but not all the way. However, while he wasn't looking, a Hollow Soldier was going to use this opportunity to stab the Chosen Undead in the back of the neck.
The Hollow Soldier raised its Broken Straight Sword but stopped. As its head was removed from its body and thus fell down dead.
"Huh," the Chosen Undead said as he saw that his supposed killer was on the ground dead. Also, at the same time, he spotted Night Raid and Akame with her Teigu Murasame was the one who saved him.
"Oh, I wasn't expecting all of you to be here. Nor the fact you would save me...thank you," the Chosen Undead said.
"You're welcome," Akame said.
"Say why did you come to me anyway?" The Chosen Undead said.
"Well, we actually were wondering if we can, like, I don't know, accompany you on your quest?" Lubbock responded.
"And why will you all want to do that?" The Chosen Undead asked.
"Well maybe if we do so then we may or may not return home?" Sheele said.
"Well, I could use all the help I can get as this WILL be a perilous journey after all…" The Chosen Undead said.
"Hey it's no problem man," Lubbock said.
An Undead Warrior was going to throw a firebomb at the Chosen Undead but Bulat in Incursio suddenly jumped at him and easily impaled the Undead. And then tossed him into a cliff-face in Undead Burg.
The Chosen Undead went up the stairs and saw a bonfire. He went up to it and lit it. Then he had his Estus flask be set up next to the bonfire and it immediately filled up.
"Hey what is that in your flask? Is it orange juice?" Leone said.
"No, it is not. It is bottled fire or Estsus as we Undead call them. We usually drink them whenever we take some serious damage to our bodies," the Chosen Undead responded.
"Oh, I see then…" Leone said.
"Wait you said bottled fire. Isn't it…painful to like drunk literal fire?" Tatsumi said with concern.
"No, it's not. On the contrary, it actually feels nice and warm to drink from the Estus flask," the Chosen Undead said. "I wouldn't even be surprised if someone actually makes something, even more, tastier out of Estus."
After resting at the bonfire, all wounds he received were fully healed once he was done resting there, much to the surprise of Night Raid, the Chosen Undead, and co then finally began to move more into Undead Burg. They were on a bridge going to a building but were being attacked by Undead Warriors who were throwing firebombs at them.
"Okay, that's it!" Lubbock said as he used Cross Tails to catch the firebombs and throw them right back at the Undead Warriors throwing them. This caused them to be hit by their own projectiles which killed them.
"How did you do that?" The Chosen Undead said as he and Night Raid entered the building only to find two Undead Warriors wielding a Battle Axe. However, a new hollow enemy named a Hollow Soldier was wielding a Hollow Soldier Shield and Longsword.
"Well to put it bluntly that was a teigu you just saw," Lubbock said as Akame and Sheele managed to dispatch the two Hollow Warriors easily by one dying from Murasame curse and the other being cut in half by Extase.
"Oh really then?" The Chosen Undead said as he went up to fight the Hollow Soldier, who tried to attack him but ended up parrying the attack and riposted to the Undead by stabbing him in the chest.
"Yes we'll explain along the way," Lubbock said.
They proceeded onward by exiting the building and encountering three Hollow Warriors. Leone rushed forward and delivered a punch so powerful that it was able to instantly kill the Hollow Warrior wielding a Battle Axe and then struck the other Hollow Warrior who was about to throw a firebomb at her. The last remaining Hollow Warrior tried to stab the woman in the face but couldn't as Leone's rather sharp teeth actually caught the blade. Leone then punched that one's head off.
"I saw her as a normal human earlier. Why does she look like that?" The Chosen Undead said.
"Because of my teigu Lionel!" Leone said as she gave a grin to the Chosen Undead.
"Ah I see," the Chosen Undead said. "And well where did these teigus came from? Like there has to be an origin for everything."
"Well, the teigus are-"
Lubbock explained in detail on where the teigus came from, why they were made, who made them, how they were made, and also why there aren't more of them. Which were because the First Emperor from Night Raid's original dimension feared his Empire would fall and decided to create them through the use of unknown means, possibly through magic. The man further explained that the means to make teigus were lost to history, as a result, teigus are rare and they only choose the worthiest to wield them.
"To think you come from an alternate world with such powerful weaponry!" The Chosen Undead said but however saw a bolt coming towards him and he managed to dodge it. Mine saw that it was a Hollow Soldier wielding a Light Crossbow who did it so she decided to take it out using Pumpkin. She fired a straight laser projectile which pierced the Hollow in the head, leaving a hole in its forehead causing it to die.
They then saw a door that led to a house, the Chosen Undead tried to open it but found out it couldn't open.
"It's no use, I can't open the door…" The Chosen Undead said.
"Stand aside! Hiyah!" Leone said as she punched the door and it broke the lock causing it to flung open.
"You're so strong!" The Chosen Undead said in amazement.
"That's my teigu for you!" Leone said.
"By the way, I just realized this but what are these enemies that we are fighting against?" Bulat said with curiosity in his voice. While talking Night Raid and co entered the house to the residence room of that place.
"Remember when I told you about what happens if I don't fulfill my quest?" The Chosen Undead said. "Well, what you just fought were normal humans but turned into Hollows as I have explained."
"Wait! Those were originally humans?!" Tatsumi said with a surprised and horrified look alongside the rest of Night Raid.
"Yes they were, and when you turn hollow all previous memories go away, turning you into nothing more than a mindless being who craves for someone else's humanity," the Chosen Undead said as a solemn look appeared behind his helmet. "Though despite this some semblances of their original lives still shine through such as what you all saw earlier at they go to places they once visited before turning hollow and still be able to use weapons…"
"That is...very dark," Leone said.
"Well it was all due to the undead curse as it causes the ruin of MANY kingdoms," the Chosen Undead said as they exited the house and ended up on a platform with a chest. The undead then opened the chest and found Three Gold Pine Resins.
"Ah, I see then…" Tatsumi said. "By the way what was that in the Chest?"
"Oh this is Gold Pine Resin and well it allows me to coat my weapon here with it to cover it in lightning," the Chosen Undead said.
They then encountered three Hollow Soldiers after dropping from the platform, who charged right towards them. Bulat rushed in front of them and was able to easily kill two of them by simply punching them in their chests and head while killing the Spear Wielding Hollow Soldier by stabbing his spear straight into the chest of it.
They then turned right and saw what appears to be a ring on a corpse. Being guarded by a giant humanoid wearing a full set of black knight armor. This is the Black Knight and he is wielding a Black Knight Shield and Black Knight Sword though he had his back facing Night Raid and the Chosen Undead.
"Uhhhh who's that?" Leone asked.
"Well from what I heard, this actually is one of the Black Knights of Gwyn who sided with him," the Chosen Undead said.
"He looks huge! I think he's like a head taller than a normal human!" Leone said. "Also who's Gwyn?"
"Well they're not human for one...but I probably know for a fact that this one is here as they are known to roam the land of Lordran," the Chosen Undead said. "As for who Gwyn is, well he's the Lord of Sunlight and he sacrificed himself to link the First Flame to prevent the Age of Darkness."
"The Age of Darkness seems bad…" Tatsumi said.
The group started to approach the Black Knight which finally turned around and started to run towards them.
"Oh, crap here he comes!" Mine said as she began to fire Pumpkin at the Black Knight, who seemed to soak up the damage. They realized they were stuck in a close space so they retreated into the more open area they fought the Hollow Soldiers.
The Black Knight decided to target Mine and he tried to stab her with his Sword. However, she got out of the way and returned fire.
Bulat charged on ahead and attacked the Black Knight who blocked Incursio's spear with his shield. The Knight then shield bashed him, which momentarily stunned Bulat. The humanoid in Black Armor then slashed at him which was actually able to cut through Incursio.
'How strong is this guy?!' Bulat thought to himself in shock.
"Don't worry I'm here!" Leone said as she punched the Black Knight in the face which launched him to a wall. But he got up and went towards Leone, however, Tatsumi struck back and managed to leave a slash wound on the Black Knight. In response, the Black Knight thrusted his swords toward Tatsumi who rolled to the side to avoid being hit. Then the Chosen Undead took this opportunity to backstab the Black Knight and then he pulled out his blade.
The Black Knight was going to attack the Chosen Undead until Sheele stabbed Extase into the chest of the humanoid. It then roared before seemingly turned into dust, but left behind its Sword.
Tatsumi went towards it and was trying to pick it up with great difficulty before finally having it rest on his shoulder.
"This sword is HEAVY!" Tatsumi said. "Why is it so heavy?!"
"I forgot to mention this but they usually use those weapons when hunting demons," the Chosen Undead responded.
"Wait demons?!" Lubbock said. "I thought they were fictional?!"
"Well in this world they're not, sadly," the Chosen Undead said.
After killing the Black Knight, the Chosen Undead and Night Raid returned to the same enclosed location where they found the Black Knight guarding the place. The Chosen Undead went up to the corpse and took off the ring which was the Blue Tearstone Ring. He then put it on his finger.
"Hey, why did you put that ring on your finger?" Lubbock said.
"Well rings are capable of giving some effects to me or something," the Chosen Undead said.
"Oh, I see then…" Bulat said.
After exiting the location where the Black Knight was originally non-hostile, they then went up some stairs to what appears to be a tower. However a Hollow Soldier kicked a barrel right at them, but Leone came forwards and smashed it in a single punch. The Hollow Soldier took this opportunity to stab Leone in the stomach, but despite suffering that wound the woman punched the Hollow in the face instantly caving his head in.
The group entered the tower and saw a door. The Chosen Undead tried to open it but he couldn't as it was locked.
"Want me to break that door down?" Leone said as the wound on her stomach regenerated due to Lionel giving its user regenerative capabilities.
"No, I think that there may or may not be a monster behind that door…" The Chosen Undead said.
"Ah, I see then!" Leone said.
The group went up the side stairs to another floor of the tower where some barrels are at.
"Hmmm, I wonder if there's something in those barrels?" Tatsumi said.
"One way to find out I guess…" Akame said.
Akame and Tatsumi began to destroy the barrels with their swords but eventually once they were destroyed a Crystal Lizard popped out.
"Quickly kill the lizard!" The Chosen Undead said.
"Right!" Tatsumi said as he slashed his sword at it until it died.
The Chosen Undead started to dissect its corpse and found out he got Two Twinkling Titanite Shards required for upgrading specific weapons and two Large Titanite Shards.
"What are those shards for?" Leone said.
"Well they can be used for blacksmithing, though I do not know of one but we will probably find a Blacksmith," the Chosen Undead said as he then noticed the door leading out of a fog wall. He then traversed the fog wall with Night Raid following him.
They were on a bridge connecting the tower they came out with another one at the other end.
"You know this looks good from here…" Tatsumi said as he gazed at the sunlight peeking through the cracks of the clouds in the sky with some distant mountains far away.
"Yeah, it looks gorgeous...if it wasn't for the dangers lurking about in this cursed land…" The Chosen Undead said as the group was getting close to the other tower when a figure jumped down from the other tower. It appeared to be a large, minotaur-like monster covered in brown fur. Alongside having yellow eyes, large horns protrude out of its skeleton head and a tail hanging between its legs. This is the Taurus Demon and it was wielding a Demon's Greataxe.
"A Danger Beast!" Akame said as she had Murasame ready to attack it.
"No, a Chaos Demon!" The Chosen Undead said as he was prepared to fight it.
"That sounds even worse!" Tatsumi said as the Taurus Demon roared at them.
A/n: As for the lack of battle music, in Dark Souls there's no ambient music playing except for some certain areas so there's that. I do hope you are enjoying Night Raid being in Lordran right now as I do love Dark Souls right now…
