CHAPTER 1: Growing up
It has been six years since the event of Samhain 1981. Things have gone quieter since.
Hadrian has been proclaimed as the "Boy-Who-Lived" a moniker one Sirius Orion Black thought of as ridiculous.
Sirius had been able to gain custody of his godson, though not without difficulties. Said difficulties like Dumbledore trying to place Hadrian elsewhere saying it was "imperative" that Hadrian must be placed to his "blood" relatives. 'Funny' he thought of back then, still thought of til' now, specially since he was related to his godson albeit a bit distantly.
There was also Bartemus Crouch Sr. who tried to arrest him saying he was somehow responsible for the death of the Potters.
In the end of it though he was still able to gain custody of his godson.
He moved to Grimauld Place Number 12 with his godson shortly after that and redecorated the house into a much more livelier place.
Kreacher, the house elf he utterly despised seems to take a liking to Hadrian as well as his mother which probably had to do with his godson being a necromancer.
His grandfather surprisingly was rather happy when he met Hadrian, the same with his great aunt Cassiopeia specially after knowing Hadrian was her brother's grandson.
His cousin Bellatrix was able to avoid Azkaban and now have a child and LeStrange heir. It seems that Cygnus Black had dosed his daughter with potions that made her loyal to the dark lord and his cause.
It was a big relief to Rodolphus LeStrange who was forced to take the dark mark along with his younger brother Rabastan.
His Cousin Narcissa was doing rather fine though she was being displayed as a trophy wife, a sad thing as she had so much more potential than just that.
His favorite cousin Andromeda was reinstated to the Black family, with her daughter being a metamorphagus.
All in all the Black family was now in a much better state than it was in the war.
SCENE BREAK
Hadrian was currently sitting in the library reading a book far beyond the age of a seven years old. It was a book about offensive parselmagic and yet said seven years old child seemed to be understanding it well.
"Shouldn't you be playing?" a voice behind Hadrian said.
"If i was a normal seven year old child then yes, I should be playing"
Sighing the figure the voice belonged to went to stand beside Hadrian and looked at book he was reading.
"Salazar would be pleased to know that his descendant has taken to reading more books about parselmagic"
He snorted "Why granddad Ig you seemed to sound rather annoyed that I'm not learning about necromancy yet again"
Said figure now known as Ignotus Peverell or as Hadrian has taken to calling him Granddad Ig just grimaced.
"Of course not. I know for a fact that you take your study of death magic very well. In fact, your progress in that study was very fast and steady. It makes me proud and happy. I am only dreading the fact that Salazar would once again boast about this."
"You're acting like Uncle Ant doesn't do the same when it comes to me studying death magic"
"Yes but you wouldn't know what it's like to have those two together specially when those two (Sal and Ant) starts arguing with Godric and Cadmus at the same time" he sighed. Oh how Ignotus would pay to be far away from those two pair even for just a day.
"Well I guess I will leave you to your reading. Make sure to go out once in a while" and with that Ignotus left.
Hadrian currently a seven years old child is raised by many people some alive and some... not alive.
He lives in Grimmauld Place Number 12 and while the damage in Potter Manor had been fixed Sirius have eventually decided to stay here where Arcturus and Cassiopeia Black are also staying to help raise and teach Hadrian.
Sirius also helps in raising and teaching along with his cousins.
Arcturus teaches Harry with duties regarding being a Lord like how to manage finances and estates.
Cassiopeia meanwhile teaches Harry how to collect information along with the "noble" art of blackmailing.
Sirius as an Auror and a Marauder teaches Harry spells for pranks and offensive ones.
Andromeda meanwhile teaches Harry, as well as her daughter, with healing.
Bellatrix meanwhile (much to Sirius' ire) started teaching Harry the dark arts. Sirius threw a large fit able to rival most of the ones of the children but at the end he relented that may be useful and as long as not used for nefarious means. Thought him relenting may have to do with the fact that Harry practically gave him the lost puppy look with his eyes and a "talk" he received from Cassiopeia.
Narcissa meanwhile was in charge with etiquette. She was not able to teach Draco while teaching Harry as her husband had sadly not allowed her.
Meanwhile from his ancestors and parents he was also taught many things.
From his many times great grandfather Ignotus and his Uncles Cadmus and Antioch he was taught death magic. He was able to acquire books from the Peverell Manor ( that looks more like a castle ) through the heir ring he was wearing that acts like a portkey.
From Salazar Slytherin or Sal he was taught parselmagic, potions and occlumency.
From Godric Gryffindor or Ric he was taught physical activities such as how to use swords for fighting, exercising and etc.
From his father he was taught transfiguration and while his mother taught him charms and how to control and utilize his metamorphagus abilities.
He was also taught history by his grandfather Fleamont and Marius. While his grandmother Euphemia taught him herbology from the plants that was available or planted at Grimmauld Place.
From his grandmother Daisy he was taught muggle subjects.
Throughout the whole six years that he had lived at Grimmauld Place he can always be seen as if he was talking to himself.
Despite being taught many subjects though he was able to have a happy childhood albeit not a normal one.
Harry and his definition of fun was always reading books or sometimes riding a broom.
He wasn't one to enjoy other activities that other children might come to enjoy which became evident when Sirius tried to do those with Harry.
It seems he also was not a social butterfly to children his age as evident to people he socialize with being Nymphadora as the youngest.
SCENE BREAK
Years passed by and Harry's childhood continues as it does. His studies have progressed quite steadily fast.
In occlumency he was able to create defences that was quite creative that his relatives (those that are alive) have not been able to surpass.
In all of his practical subjects he had all but done them wandlessly. When he was given a wand his performance was lower so it was decided he do it without a wand.
He was also taught arithmancy and runes by his family and he had progressed admirably.
By the time he was 11 he was far above N.E.W.T.s Level of magical knowledge and talent.
Sadly he still have to go to Hogwarts to "have some fun" according to Sirius while according to his great aunt Cassiopeia it was to create allies and collect information in which he so readily agreed with a vicious glint that can be seen in his eyes.
Author's Note: I didn't focused on Harry's childhood that much. But rest assured I will at his Hogwarts years and post-Hogwarts time too. It will only be in this first chapter did I placed only few dialogues.
I also hoped that Harry doesn't seemed over powered in here.
If he is then do not worry there are some explanations as to how his magical prowess came to be that great. But i think you can guess that it's because of Lily and James being produced not out of inbreeding like other pureblood families.
