Chapter 2: It Would Be Easy
"Okaa-san…." Marlya began, her eyes still watching the scenery blitz by on the train, "My new quirk…" her voice hitched slightly, letting the fear filter through,
Mariko shifted to put her hand on Marlya's shoulder, giving it a light squeeze, "I understand that you are scared Inari. We will make sure nothing happens to you okay?" She gave her daughter a toothy grin, hoping to alleviate some of the fear she was feeling herself.
Mariko watched her daughter, knowing that she was still scared. Marlya's ears were pinned back on her head, her tail sagged against the chair. As much as she was excited to finally meet Adahya, it was dampened by the rise of her second quirk. Her father tried to explain as best he can what it is, but she knew that it was rare to have two quirks. At five years old, she knew that it was dangerous for her. She read a lot of the history of quirks in her spare time, very few people were recorded to have two quirks. Amongst other rarity's like healing quirks, she was a part of a very small percentage of dual quirk users.
She sighed heavily fogging up the window in front of her, she felt like there was a weight on her shoulders, but she really didn't know why.
Her instincts on the other hand knew, Marlya just wasn't in tune with them yet. The foreboding that something soon was going to happen.

They arrived at the train station, Marlya held onto her mother's hand as they walked from the station and onto a bus heading towards the nature reserve that Adahya owned.
There were quite a few visible animal quirk users on the bus as well. The excitement was tangible and Marlya couldn't help herself but feel excited, letting everyone's emotions to sway her own feelings of fear.
She could hear the muffled whispers about her, though they didn't know it was her specifically, ("I heard Inari is coming to this meeting.") She was nervous, but very excited. Marlya honestly couldn't wait to get there, she wanted to run in her fox form with her mother. Spread her legs and just be free.
The chatter on the bus started picking up the closer they got to the reserve, the more and more animal quirk users filled the bus until the only one that wasn't an animal quirk user was the bus driver. There were many people, ranging from young to old and in between.
Marlya knelt in her seat and started looking around, to see if there were more kids around her age. Her ears like satellite dishes on her head as she zoned in and out of the conversations. Her eyes looked to a couple rows behind her, there was a small family of people that had bird heads. The mother was white and looked like a dove, the father sporting a crow head and their son had one also. He looked no older than she was, even though they didn't seem to have animal shifting quirks, they had the animal characteristics. ("Inari would have just awakened their quirk Fumi. You would probably be closer to her age than anyone here.") Marlya smiled to herself, glad that she wouldn't have been the only child here.
"Darling," Mariko touched her daughters' arm, her tail flicked in acknowledgement was the only indicator she heard, "We are nearly there."

They arrived at the park not too long after that. All the animal quirk users disembarked the bus and made a beeline to the centre, where those who had transformative quirks would shed their clothes and run free into the park, whilst the others who had animal mutation quirks started the long trek into the darkened woodlands towards where the gathering will be held.
Marlya held onto her mother's hand tightly, it was quite odd to her being around so many people that were so like them yet weren't at the same time. But as well as them being completely unaware of who she was. That is until she transforms in front of them. She truly didn't want to be this 'messiah' that they have been waiting for, but that didn't lessen her excitement for it. She had no idea what this prophecy is about, but she promised to herself that she will do her best.
They went to the bathrooms, then went into a stall together. Marlya started stripping down to her body suit that she always wore beneath her clothes, her mother soon followed closely behind. She started rolling their clothes up and put them into her backpack.
Mariko led them both out of the bathroom, and to the lobby where there are lockers set up for people to store their belongings for the night.
With their bags stored, they walked out into the fresh air beyond the centre. Many people were gathered there, waiting for something. All in similar body suits or just with a towel wrapped around them covering their privates.
"What are they waiting for mother?" Marlya asked whilst tilting her head in confusion at the crowd,
"You." She stated affectionately whilst pushing her in front of her, "It's time for Inari to lead us to Adahya."
Marlya looked at her Mother, the nerves shot through her body, she was scared but she felt calm at the same time. Nodding to her Mother, she left the safety of her mother's presence and walked ahead towards the crowd.
They all sensed her walking up to them, slowly the outskirts of the group turned to her, then the rest faced her too.
Marlya took a deep breath, lifted her chin, with her tail was waving freely through the air behind her.
"I." She started quietly, but took another breath to steel her nerves, "I am Inari."
It was like a wave went through the crowd, they all looked at her like they truly saw her.
Marlya searched inside her for her Fox, and pulled it forward, the iridescent rings in her eyes glowed as the white mist enveloped her body.
She stood proudly on her four legs, though she was now significantly smaller than those around her. She had never felt braver.
Her Fox form seemed to glow, she gave off a slight ethereal light from her body, her bushy tail was longer than her body itself, wispy at the end and particles floating off into nothing. Her fur seemed to ripple constantly like flowing water.
Her ears pricked on top of her head, hearing something in the forest, then the warm feeling enveloped her. She needed to be closer.
Without another look to the crowd, she turned to her Mother. Instead of her human form, stood a tall proud black wolf. Padding over to her, she nuzzled her Mother's chest fur then looked longingly towards the forest.
The others in the crowd started their own shifts, no one had muttered a single word after Marlya announced who she was.
Mariko leaned down to her pup and just licked between the ears on her head. Marlya looked up at her mother who with a nod of her large head, gave her approval to run.
And so. She ran. Her short legs extended as far as they could, propelling her through the forest. Mariko wasn't too far behind her.
The feeling of the forest floor on the pads of her feet, was something different. She had run around the yard at home, but being able to run through the forest, free. Was a completely euphoric feeling. She wouldn't give this up for anything, if she had to choose between this and going home? She would stay in the forest for the rest of her days.
The full moons light filtered through the leaves, lighting up her path. Everything was crisp and clear through her eyes, sounds amplified and the forest felt alive.
She kept running to where she felt the warmth coming from. Something primal in her gut pulled her to it, she knew that it meant safety, that it meant home.
Though it felt like she was running for hours, it almost felt like it was only a few minutes since she started. It was only 30 minutes for the pack of creatures to make it to the clearing where the other animal quirk users were waiting.
The full moon shined down on the clearing, lighting it up beautifully. The light that was also given off from Marlya lit up the surrounding animals that fell into step behind her.
Everyone in the clearing turned their heads towards her, then the muttering and whisperings
reached her ears.
"It's true! Inari is here."
"It's Inari."
"Look mum, is that Inari?"
Marlya felt the nervous excite swell in her being yet again. She felt many pairs of eyes on her, she couldn't help but hold her head high.
Her ears twitched at the sound of wings in the distance, she lifted her nose to the air and tried to scent what was coming their way. It was the scent of the being that gave off the sense of security, of home.
Everyone turned their heads to the starry night sky, where the bright moon illuminated like it was day. The sound of approaching wingbeats, the thrumming of the large wings getting louder and closer. Marlya was more nervous than ever, her stomach a twisting pit of nerves, like snakes writhing together.
She didn't know why exactly she was nervous, was she nervous about meeting Adahya? Was she nervous about this supposed prophecy? Or was she nervous at what was held in store for her future? She wouldn't have been able to tell you. But these nerves, were caused by the foreboding feeling that she hadn't yet recognised. That her instincts knew there was going to be danger to herself and sooner than she or her parents thought.
Marlya had laid down on the ground in her form, head still craning to the sky watching for the being that was making the wingbeats to arrive. A shadow moved across the sky languidly, with an enormous wingspan that nearly blotted out the full moon, before slowly lowering itself into the clearing in front of Marlya.
Being illuminated by Marlya's ethereal light, that was emanating from her body, she could see that the creature was in the form of an Owl. The breed she recognised was like that of a Great grey Owl, but this owl was not grey, but almost black. Although it was not entirely black, just many shades of dark grey, thought the feathers that graced its face were that of a light shade, piercing all white eyes rested above the dark ochre beak.
A deep trill emanated from the owl; the feeling of safety swelled even more in Marlya.
The Owl stood up to its full height, now a hulking mass of shadows in front of her, easily over 5 times the height of her human form. Its eyes felt as if they were staring directly into her soul, they were not cold as one might thing, but warm and inquisitive. Marlya could only gather that this was Adahya.
"My, my, my child." A baritone voice came from the Owl, the tone so smooth yet rough at the same time, "It has been an age since I foresaw your coming, and yet I was wholly unprepared for how radiant you look."
Marlya immediately ducked her head in embarrassment, if she didn't have fur or if she wasn't in her fox form, she certainly would have turned as red as her mother's eyes.
A deep chuckle rumbled from Adahya, "Forgive me my dear, I have not introduced myself." He begun, "I am Adahya, Holder of the Zodiac Law, Leader of the Animal Quirk Society." Adahya had bent down in a faux bow, the best he could do whilst in his Owl form, one wing extended across his body as he looked at Marlya.
Marlya lifted herself up on to her paws and looked to Adahya, then lowered her head, tucking a paw underneath her, extending the other one out in front in a bow.
"I am Marlya, Sir." She announced with a silk like voice, "I am Inari." As she raised her head to look at Adahya, she could recognise the glint in his eyes, making them seem all the brighter to her.
"Yes, it does seem to be that you are Inari." Mirth filled his voice, "'A messenger of the sun, like glistening snow.' I dare say that the prophecy is accurate. You do represent the likeness of the kami, for you are a fox much like them. Your fur is an immaculate shade of white that you would easily be mistaken for snow if you were to hide in it." Explaining as he walked with silent steps around to her right, his head turning this way and that.
"Now I fear we do not have much time together, Inari." His walk stopped just behind her, as she turned her head to look at him his eyes seemed to grow brighter than they were before, "Allow me to show you this prophecy!"
She stared into his eyes and the world around them disappeared in a flurry of snow, the sun was shining bright in the sky. It didn't seem to be real; the sun was brighter than she had ever seen it and closer than it has ever been. Marlya could see loops of fire leaping off the sun's surface, molten spots of white, red, and orange danced across the ball of fire. She looked around, only then noticing Adahya was not there with her. But what she heard, she could feel it in her bones, a deep rumbling.
"A messenger of the sun," The disembodied voice of Adahya began, coursing through her body, mind, and hearing, "like glistening snow."
The scene slowly changed, a ball of ethereal white light careened from the sun itself to the ground, floating above the snow at her height. She could see pawprints forming in the snow beneath, but the ball was just that, a ball. She felt herself slowly pad forward in curiosity and the ball floated the same, mimicking her movements, so they were going towards each other.
A tongue of lightening split the sky, suddenly lit up her vision and the scene changed, to that reminiscent of a hellscape. Fire was everywhere, but there was no source, smoke filled the heavens and what she thought to be screams could be heard in the distance.
"Torn asunder from hearth and home," The disembodied voice thrummed, as the scene started changing again. A mass of shadows emerged in the distance, like a goliath rising from the depths of hell itself. Burning eyes of nothing stared across the hellscape directly at her, pinning her to the spot. "Pure evil shall be known."
The shadow goliath in the distance grew a splitting, fiery grin across what would have been its face. She couldn't help but cower in fear, her breath leaving her body quaking, if she were in her human form she would be sweating bullets. The killing intent floored her utterly, completely, like she wasn't even able to grasp the concept of something that evil being in her vision.
The ball of light was next to her, but the difference was now there was spidery like black tendrils seeping into its purity, muddying the colours themselves.
The scene didn't start changing but pure black, spiked shadows split the ground in front of her, seeking out something to wrap themselves around.
"Shackled in darkness," The voice boomed as the shadows wrapped themselves around Marlya's throat and legs, pulling her down into the maw of the ground itself. "hidden away."
Complete and total darkness filled her vision. Panic set in her body, the fear renewed and invigorated. Marlya could feel the tendrils tightening on her throat and paws, every time she thrashed against them, they got impossibly tighter. She was surprised that her neck wasn't broken, or that she wasn't suffocating.
That was when she heard the other noises around her, groans, whimpers, barks, and cries of creatures around her. She couldn't identify many but what she could understand from what she was hearing, there were hundreds of creatures around her all-in pain, trying to break free from their own shackles.
Then she saw it, iridescent lilac rings in the shadows of what she would assume are the creatures around her. The eerie glow unnerved her and gave of the smallest amount of light, to see these white creatures tainted by darkness, surround her with cold hard stares.
"Forsworn beasts come out to play." The finality in the disembodied voice terrified her further.
The reverberating growls, hisses, screeches from around her, all the beasts were aggravated, enraged. One by one they started moving forward to her all too fast, yet too slow at the same time. The split second before they reached her with their fangs baring, talons outstretched, venom dripping, she was seated in front of Adahya.
Marlya's chest was heaving in panic, her head whirled around looking for the beasts but none of them were there.
"Be still my child," Adahya breathed softly, leaning forward to capture her attention, "You are not there any longer."
Marlya's head snapped towards him, looking directly into his eyes. I'm no longer there, She thought to herself, even the voice in her head was shaking, I'm safe.
The concern in Adahya's eyes was smothering the panic in her body, she took slow purposeful breathes to steel her nerves.
"Though I must admit," He straightened himself, the even tone of his voice betraying nothing of his concern, "That vision was more intense than when I have seen it by myself." He looked down at Inari, "It seems to me that I was a mere holder of the prophecy, the truer meaning has been imparted to you."
Marlya felt her mouth go dry, even her fangs felt dry to her tongue, the breath in her chest hitched slightly. "W-what does it mean Adahya?" she ventured shakily,
Adahya's eyes turned forlorn, the shimmer of concern still discernible, "I fear it means that you and your Mother must leave now. Run on home," he commanded with steel voice, "You have my permission to use your quirks to get back to where you need, run like the wind, catch a train. However, it may be, you will arrive on time. This I know, this I have foreseen."
Marlya finally turned her mauve eyes to her mother's crimson, the fear was there at Adahya's words. None the less, her mother nodded, the giant wolf head dipping, eyes closing.
Marlya turned back to Adahya, with a nod of her own vulpine head, "Thank you Adahya." She began with a strong voice, "Till next we meet."
The old owl seemed taken aback by her wording, knowingly that the vision he imparted on her has given her some clarity.
For that Adahya was correct, Marlya now recognised that agonising foreboding that had plagued her for the day. That her instincts were warning her, of what they would be returning home to.
She trotted up to her mother, rubbing the flank of her body against Mariko's legs. Marlya looked up and summoned the feeling of her home, trusting her instincts to guide them as best they can.
Without looking back at her Mother, she took off into the direction she knew was home. The speed she ran was nothing like she had ran earlier on the way to the clearing. She knew her mother was only a few lengths behind her, they stopped by the visitor centre on the way out, Mariko shifted back into her human form grabbing their bag from the locker. Mariko decided to carry the bag back home, or to their car that was waiting for them in the parking lot by the train station they had caught. It was on the way home, and she decided to collect their car and drive the last leg home when they reached it.
They ran across the country, the wind flowing through their fur. Neither of the beasts acknowledged the exhaustion settling into their bones and muscles.
Following the train tracks most of the way, then leaping onto the rooftops of homes and buildings once they reached civilisation or suburbia. Swapping carrying the bag during their brief stops at overnight shops, where Mariko had bought them bottles of water to rehydrate their bodies before taking off again.
In the matter of a few hours they travelled all the way back to their home suburb, where the car was waiting at the train station patiently. Both Marlya and Mariko were panting as they shifted back into their human forms, sweat immediately started trickling down their bodies. Now it was just the last leg home with the car and the foreboding that Marlya was feeling, only grew heavier and heavier the closer they got to this home.
Before long, they reached their gravel driveway, both peering up at the house. Noticing that the only light on was in Hiroshi's study, nothing was out of the ordinary as far as they knew. Soon enough they reached the standalone garage, parking the car they both got out, and made their way to the house. All their senses were dialled up to 100. Listening for something, anything, trying to smell a scent on the wind. But nothing could be heard or smelt as they made their way to the front door.
Mariko reached up with her keys, a slight shake could be heard due to the keys jangle on others that were on the keyring. With a deep breath, she unlocked the door and slid it open, being greeted by the genken. But also greeted by a strong scent of blood in the air. The metallic tang burned her nose and Marlya immediately reached up to her face, gagging at the stench.
"Mumma…" she said carefully, muffled by having her hand covering her nose, "What…what is that smell?" Marlya already guessed the answer but wished it to be different.
Her Mother turned and the first thing she saw was her daughter's eyes were glowing, with the iridescent lilac limbal ring casting light onto the tears forming in her eyes.
"Marlya… darling" She started, immediately going to comfort her daughter, "There's nothing to worry abou—"
Mariko never finished that sentence, she barely even got out a gasp as she was shot with something. What? She didn't know. Her vision went black immediately and the last thing she saw was her daughters face scrunching up in what seemed to be a scream.

At the Shiikage Residence
Earlier
Hiroshi sat at his grand desk in the study within his home. The desk itself was made of crotch mahogany, recognisable with the black flame of colour through it. Sturdy and built to last a lifetime, or in this case multiple lifetimes, as this desk specifically was an antique of a bygone era.
As such, it was his favourite place to do work, especially compared to his office at work.
With his wife and child gone to the Midnight Hunt, My little girl is growing up quicker than I thought… He thought to himself, I can only hope that we can keep her second quirk under wraps. Not having to register it. I know we will find a way. His thoughts flashed back to that morning before his girls left to go on the Midnight Hunt, his daughter gained a second quirk. A much better version of his own from what he gathered. She was able to create life, unlike himself who can only create things, only if he has the equivalent chemicals and materials to make the item he wished.
It seemed like it was almost a perfect quirk, and a terrible quirk if it were to be sculpted by the wrong people. He had to make sure his daughter was safe from people who would use it for villainy, until the time was right to reveal it, when she would be able to defend herself.
Face scrunched up into a frown he shook himself from those thoughts, It is likely never to happen, he concluded, The only ones who know are Mariko and myself. Reassured he looked back to the papers in front of him, attempting to motivate himself for the much-needed catchup. As CEO these things tend to pile up quickly, especially with things needing the right signature and approval. Hiroshi was unable delegate this to anyone else.
Leaning against his left palm as he leafed through pages with his right, Hiroshi heaved a heavy sigh. Being at this for hours since they left, he had only made a partial dent in the stacks of paper. He loved his job, truly he loved what he did, but as many people. He despises paperwork.
Successful projects, requisition for more material, budget expansion, reports on failures, forms for potential upgrades, blah-blah-blah. Request from high ranking heroes, equipment testing… so many different documents to read, to approve or deny.
Placing the papers down, he brought his fingers to his eyes and rubbed them, then pinched the bridge of his nose, another sigh exhaled through it. Hiroshi could feel a migraine starting up, the deep-seated thrum in his skull made the point of it. Willing the tiredness from his body so he could finish this work so he wouldn't be as far behind.
Pulling out his pen and reopening the ink trays for the stamps, he got to finishing the stack that he had in front of him. Some he set aside for taking to account department to make sure the company can afford to expand the budget or buy more material. Worst comes to worst they'll buy the most basic form of the material and Hiroshi himself would convert it into what they need, that has helped cut costs over the years. It's what made his company few of the more popular support providers for heroes and civilians alike, because of the cut cost in materials they can provide high quality gear for a fraction of the price.
Time passed a bit quicker as Hiroshi went through the stack, his surroundings quiet except for the scratching of the pen and thumps of the stamps. That was until he heard the floorboard outside his study creak, that stopped his movements immediately. He looked to the shut door at the other end of the said room, anxiety spiking in his system. Lowering the pen in his hand, keeping eyes on the door the entire time, Hiroshi reached into the drawer to grab his letter opener. The blade glinted in the light as he shifted in his seat uncomfortably.
Another set of noises graced his ears, that of a car coming up the drive, he could hear he gravel crunching due to the silence of the night. He strained his ears, trying to pick up any other sounds. Specifically, beyond the door to the room. His heart thumping in his chest, heartbeat a cacophony in his ears. Sweat started beading on his forehead.
With his unoccupied hand he reached for his cell, speed dialling one of his closer hero friends besides Mariko's best friend. Knowing he was out of the country at the current moment in time. Hiroshi could hear the ringing tone, once, twice, three times before someone on the other end answered.
Before the recipient on the other end could even talk Hiroshi was already stammering out "Potential Code Re-"
He was cut of by the door being bashed inwards, a man that was too big for the door frame pushed his way in. Broad muscular shoulders forced their way through the door, shattering the frame with little resistance. The man himself, was dressed in a sharp black suit, a white dress shirt beneath the jacket. But what was the truly eye-catching factor of the man, was the fact he had an apparatus covering his face completely.
"A-all For O-one..." Hiroshi choked out, it felt like all the air in the room was suck out in one go. Hiroshi had heard of the man, the one described to him by All Might himself. Never in his life, did Hiroshi think he would ever be face to face with the most heinous evil there was in the hero society.
If the man's face wasn't covered, Hiroshi knew there would be an unnerving grin. The room was flooded with killing intent as All For One raised an arm and sent black tendrils from his fingertips, piercing Hiroshi's shoulder through and impaling him to the wall behind. A guttural cry broke from his throat, searing pain in his shoulder from the tendril consumed his thoughts, he couldn't think of much from how much it hurt dangling from his shoulder against the wall.
"Ahh." All For One begun slowly his gravelly voice dragging out, "Shiikage-san. It. Is curious that you do know of me." His head cocked to the side, even though All For One had no eyes Hiroshi could swear the man was staring into his soul.
Hiroshi knew in that moment, his friend wouldn't be able to help him, no one would make it in time to save his wife and daughter who had just arrived home. He knew he wasn't going to see the dawn of a new day again. He could only wish to see his daughter and wife one last time, but even that was a pipedream.
He could only watch as All For One walked across the room to him, the mans other hand came up and grasped Hiroshi's head. He could feel the sparks originating from All For One's hand, trying to do something to him.
If All For One had a face, it would be noticed as scrunching up in confusion, never had someone been able to resist their quirk being ripped away by his.
"Now this." He said evenly, not portraying the annoyance in his voice, "This, is truly curious. Your Quirk will not yield to mine, although I have not had the pleasure of attempting to take a quirk of this nature before." All For One gripped his hand tighter on Hiroshi's head, drawing a guttural groan from him, the pain would have been excruciating, considering how hard the quirk held onto its host.
"If I was to hazard a guess All For One," Spindly fingers clutched the remnants of the door frame, "It is a more integral part of his system, like the synapses are internally more fused than that of, ahem normal quirks."
The man who was talking emerged fully from the hall to stand in the doorway, a man that was also too tall for the doorframe, he had peppered grey hair that was slicked back. Thin frames laid on his long slender nose, glinting in the light from the study, his dark grey eyes shone with a wealth of intelligence. His face itself was long and sharp, eyebrows scrunched up settling a permanent scowl on his face. He had thin lips, high cheekbones, and hollow cheeks, with a mole gracing his left cheek.
"Dr Lamprict." All For One turned to the lanky man in the doorway, "Finally gracing us with your presence, are you?"
Hiroshi tried to look past All For One, but he couldn't move enough to see around the hulking man in front of him. He had to confirm that it was truly Dr Lamprict, his partner from a lifetime ago. The man was insanely obsessed with his quirk and they had a disagreement when Marlya was born. The potential that she could hold, that the Dr could experiment and document the development of her quirk in hopes that a better version of Hiroshi's would develop. He cursed himself for forgetting about the man, the possibilities of what he would do to her.
"I do apologise." Lamprict started smoothly, "I was just having a look around for our dear asset. It seems to be she has just arrived home from the Midnight Hunt." With a flourish of his hand he walked over to one of the bookshelves that decorated the study.
Not even absorbing what he was seeing, just perusing, eyes scanning the shelves and photos of Hiroshi's family.
"I do not think you will be able to force the quirk to release from him." Lamprict said with a wave of his hand,
"I must agree with you," All For One said slowly, turning back towards Hiroshi, "Now Shiikage-san, I believe you would have some information on your darling daughters quirk. Hmmm?"
With that All For One dug another tendril in Hiroshi's shoulder, drawing a stream of curses and cries from the man. Blood was now pooling underneath him, spreading across the hardwood floor. Hiroshi was starting to turn a deathly shade, gasping for air, he turned his hardened eyes up to All For One, "I…Will. NEVER, tell you what I know."
Quick as lightening All For Ones left fist struck Hiroshi's face, causing blood to start pouring from the man's nose and mouth, his right eye immediately swelling from the impact. Next the fist connected with the man's gut, causing him to double over the arm, spewing blood all over All For One's suit and tearing the tendrils through his shoulder.
The only noises in the room was Hiroshi's laboured breathing, the man himself suffering from a few broken ribs, his left lung currently collapsing, severe blood loss among other things. His field of vision was blurry and black was creeping in threatening to make him unconscious. Hiroshi's face was scrunched up in pain, with blood smearing down his chin, some leaking from his nose and the cut on his cheekbone from where All For One's fist crashed. He couldn't even arrange a coherent thought with the immense pain he was in, let alone speak any longer. He knew that deaths embrace would have him soon.
"What a waste of such a unique quirk." All For One all but grumbled, "Nevertheless, we are here for a much grander prize after all." A grin crept over his covered mouth, straightening his fingers on his left hand, he drew his arm back and struck his arm through Hiroshi's chest.
The mans eyes widened one last time at the sudden impact and sickening crunch of his ribcage being invaded, then his eyes went unseeingly to the ground and his entire body went limp.
All For One retracted his tendrils from the man's should and pulled his arm from their chest. Letting Hiroshi fall to the ground unceremoniously in a heap of bleeding flesh and broken bones, the man that was Hiroshi Shiikage was now dead, who died fearing for his daughter's safety.
