One night Poppy woke up to a thunderstorm she was terrified of them ever since she was 2 years old.

"DADA DADA DADA" Poppy shouted and Thunder and lightning hit their pod

but her dad was in a deep sleep so Poppy lied there in silence

"Barb!"Poppy shrieked as a lightning bot hit next to her Pod. Barb woke up because she heard her scream and heard the lightning bolt. Barb opened some of her pod closed it and ran to Poppy. "Poppy are you alright?" "yes, the truth is i have been afraid of Thunderstorms ever since 2 when my dad didn't hear me call for him" "i'll be right back" as Barb went to go get a blanket Poppy sighed But when Barb came out with the blanket Poppy shrieked and ran for her life. "EEK get away from me!" she ran out of her pod and got stuck on a couple tree limbs and winced in pain. when she reached the route tunnels where they met cloud guy she heard a crack

frozen in fear a tree Branch fell on her legs "OW!" right as she thought the monster was gonna eat her she had rivers of tears go down her face when A frantic shout yelled "poppy are you okay?" "i was calling for you" she must've not heard her yell she flipped over the limb and scooped her up in her arms they ran to Barbs home. "Poppy when we get to my place i'll help clean you up" Barb said "okay, but her let me walk to your place" "no i'll carry you." "are you sure?" "positive" Poppy let in the good smell and calmed down quickly.

Before she knew it they were at Barbs Home "Poppy i'm gonna clean your legs with this rag" Poppy winced when she went over a raw spot. it was a solid 30 minutes when they got finished cleaning her legs. "can i bandage them Poppy?" "sure." when she got done bandaging her legs she asked "does anything else hurt?" "No" she started tearing up "Poppy what's wrong?" "i-i just was scared that i lost you" "is that why you ran away Popcorn?" "yeah" she looked embarrassed when she told her about her fear of cuddled close and Barb said "Poppy its okay,i thought you were gonna die when the Branch fell on you" "sorry it's all my fault that i made you rescue me,carry me and fix my legs." "i could've done it myself you know" "i know i wanted to be helpful" "okay Barb,Boop" Poppy said as she Booped her nose. "Poppy I-i love you" Barb said "I love you too Barb" she said "oh and here is a ukulele wanna play a song?" "of course Barb" "this song is for Barb my Pretty Girlfriend" "what song?" "do just sing" "okay"
