"Agent Akaguro, do you read?" a voice crackled over the earpiece, causing a skinny man to look up. He raised a hand and pressed his finger against it.
"This is Agent Akaguro. I read you, headquarters." he said.
"Have you located the target?"
"Yes. It's just as I said."
"Excellent. The boat is SHIELD property, and filled with SHIELD Agents. There are a total of five terrorists onboard. Remember, you're to take back the boat from the terrorists with as little casualties as possible." the voice said.
"Understood." Akaguro said as he stood up. He nodded to the pilot, who pressed a button. Behind Akaguro, the helicopter he was in opened, revealing a vast ocean below. A single ship was floating a few miles off, lights off, almost invisible to the naked eye in the darkness. Akaguro took a breath as he walked to the opening. He had a single katana on his back, with a pair of pistols on his belt, his hands covered with a glove. The agent grabbed a large torpedo-like object and hoisted it up.
"Good luck Agent!" the pilot called to him. Akaguro nodded back and jumped out. He soon landed in the water with a splash. Resurfacing with the heavy object, he pressed a button on the machine while gripping a handle tightly. The machine whirred to life and shot through the water, dragging Akaguro with it. Akaguro's eyes were glued to the ship, focusing on the mission. In the sky, the helicopter was hovering nearby, ready for pickup after the mission.
'Five terrorists was all it took to take over the boat? The agents onboard need more training.' Akaguro thought to himself.
It took a little bit, but Akaguro eventually reached the boat. He turned off the machine and hooked it to one of the rungs of a ladder. He quickly and quietly climbed up the ladder. He came up the edge and kept himself low as he observed a few guards walking around. After observing for a few minutes, he took advantage of a break in their patrols and swiftly took one out with a solid hit to the back of the head. He repeated this quickly and hid the three of them. The agent continued to move in through the ship's deck with impressive stealth.
"You're just as good as they said." a voice said. Akaguro looked up to see a masked terrorist dropping towards him, trench coat billowing around him. The SHIELD Agent flipped backwards, dodging a falling knee which dented the deck where he was standing. Akaguro and the terrorist stood a bit away from each other.
'I couldn't detect him. This man is dangerous.' Akaguro thought.
"Who are you, bastard?" he said as he gripped the handle of his pistol. The terrorist took off his mask, revealing a young man with silver hair. The mask fell to the side as the two stood across from each other.
"You're young. What are you doing acting as a terrorist?" Akaguro questioned as the young man walked closer to him.
"My life story isn't something that you need to know. We're right here, at this point. At opposite sides. That's all you need to know." the terrorist said.
"I see." Akaguro said as he pulled out his pistol. The terrorist dashed forwards and kicked it out of the Agent's hand. Akaguro grunted as he was kicked away. The terrorist charged forwards and swung another powerful kick. Akaguro quickly blocked the kick and follow-up punch before countering with his own punch. The terrorist slid back and took his stance as Akaguro took an identical stance.
The two charged towards each other and threw a punch. Akaguro's longer arm hit the terrorist the first, knocking him backwards. The terrorist caught the next punch and threw Akaguro over his shoulder away. Akaguro grunted as he landed and got to his feet, only to suddenly get kicked in the stomach by the terrorist. He slid back with another grunt as the terrorist charged again and tackled him. Akaguro quickly put up a guard and blocked an onslaught of punches before managing to kick the terrorist off. He quickly rolled back to his feet and pulled out his katana.
The terrorist pulled out a couple of knives before hurling them at Akaguro, who quickly knocked them aside before bringing the katana cleaving downwards. The terrorist took out another knife and blocked the attack with a loud clang. Akaguro twisted the katana and pushed the knife to the side before knocking the terrorist away with a powerful kick to the chin. The terrorist got up and took a stance. Akaguro stopped and took his own stance with the katana.
'Hm… I was quick to judge the SHIELD agents that are here. For a SHIELD boat such as this, it's likely that there were only rank-C agents onboard. As I'm rank-A, and this man is matching me easily, it's no wonder that the terrorists could take them out.' he thought to himself. The terrorist suddenly began to walk forwards, slowly. Akaguro shifted his stance, ready to defend himself. As the terrorist came closer, Akaguro noticed that the knife was rising up.
'I have to play it careful. Who knows what he can do.' Akaguro thought to himself. He shifted his weight again. As the terrorist came closer, Akaguro was suddenly aware of a strange noise. His eyes involuntarily twitched sideways for a split-second. The terrorist shot forwards and Akaguro raised his katana, ready to impale his opponent.
Suddenly, the terrorist's knife dropped from his hand. Surprised, Akaguro's eyes dropped with it. A loud sound out of nowhere had Akaguro staggering backwards and falling on his back. Akaguro was stunned for a couple seconds before managing to push himself off his back and onto his feet. A splash made him look to the side.
'Did he throw himself off the side?' Akaguro wondered. It didn't make sense. He was lying down, defenseless. A skilled fighter like the terrorist he was fighting should've had no problem taking him out for good in those couple seconds. The noise from before increased in volume, causing Akaguro to look to the side. His eyes widened as he realized why his opponent ran away. The answer was in the form of a pair of metal cylinders soaring towards the boat.

A tall, well-built man with spiky black hair walked down gray halls. A few soldiers dressed in black-and-grey uniforms hurried past him. He came up to a door and opened it, coming into the infirmary. An unconscious, bandaged Akaguro was inside. The entirety of his upper body and his legs were covered with them, as well as his face. The face looked unnaturally flat, as the missiles that hit the boat had damaged it severely. A single bloodshot eye opened and looked at the tall man.
"Director… K…" he rasped.
"Agent Akaguro."
"How… long…"
"Two weeks. You've been out for two weeks."
"I… failed… the mission… the agents… onboard…" Akaguro said with difficulty.
"We looked at the remains of the boat. There were no agents onboard. It's likely that they were taken off." Director K said. Akaguro's eye closed in relief.
"I see…" Director K looked at the injured figure.
"Akaguro, what do you remember?"
"What… do I… I… don't know… there's something… something important…" he rasped. Director K's eyes narrowed.
"Akaguro, I'm taking you off the program." Akaguro's eye snapped back open with a pained gasp.
"But…!"
"Akaguro. Look at you. Your legs will barely be able to walk, your organs needed to be replaced, you lost your nose, tasting, and feeling on your face. Even if you were to make a proper recovery, I wouldn't let you on the LoA program. As someone who's served SHIELD for over 10 years, you have done a lot of work. And you're still only 33 years old. You're too young to have suffered this much damage."
"Director… Please… There's… too much! There's… still… much… I must… do!" Akaguro protested as he tried to rise up from the bed. Director K put a firm but gentle hand on his shoulder, causing Akaguro to freeze.
"Akaguro. There is much to do. But the weight of the world can't be solved with just one person." Director K said.
"Director…" Akaguro rasped.
"I set up a nice place for you Akaguro. I know how you don't like modern society. This place is located in a small traditional village in the country, with very little people. It should serve as a nice retirement place for you." Director K said. Akaguro's eye closed after a bit.
"I see… Thank you… Director…" Director K nodded.
"Agent Akaguro. Thank you for your incredible service." Director K stated as he walked away. Akaguro nodded slightly as he fell into a deep sleep as the medication he had been injected with a bit earlier finally started to kick in.

"There we go Chizome. Yer doin' perfect." a young man said as he watched Akaguro carefully walk across the floor.
A full year had passed since the mission. Akaguro had settled into this new town quite well. Everyone there was polite, and mostly quiet. The food was that of clam, fish, and vegetables. He was with a family with a lovely old woman, her son, and his daughters. It was a family of doctors, with the old lady being skilled in acupuncture, the son being a physical therapist, and the older sister being a doctor-in-training.
"Thank you, Akai. You have been very kind to me, even with my disfiguration." Chizome said as he sat down a couple minutes later. His face was heavily scarred, and his nose was indeed gone. It was a gruesome sight, yet Akai didn't bat an eye at this.
"Chizome, yer part of our family now. Yer face is nothin' we haven't seen before." Akai said as he sat down next to him. His youngest daughter walked in and set down a tray containing a pot of tea and two cups. She smiled at them.
"Tea?"
"Ah, thank you sweetie." Akai said as he took one of the cups. Chizome carefully picked one up and held it as the daughter filled it. Chizome brought it to his lips and sipped.
"Chizome has been making immense amounts of progress. Why, he oughta be able to take a full walk by da time our anniversary of his arrival arrives." Akai said. His daughter beamed at Chizome.
"That's great Mr Akaguro!"
"I told you already. You can just call me Chizome like your father." Chizome said as he took another sip of tea.
"Says the guy who only calls me Younga Miss." the daughter huffed.
"Now now sweetie. Ya finally got to visit for da first time in a long time. Let's not spend this time bickering with each other." Akai laughed as he patted his pouting daughter.
"Yer right. Where's-"
"Yer sister moved to da city. Her fiance is having her help him in researching genetics or something." Akai said.
"Da, her fiance is a douche. Why ya letting him marry Big Sis?" his daughter said. Chizome mentally agreed with the daughter. He had met this fiance already, and he was not pleasant. Akai sighed.
"I know dear. But it's da only way yer sis can be able to continue her studies in medicine. Studying needs a lot of money. And large amounts of money is hard to come by in such a small town." Akai said.
"And by having her marry into a wealthy family, she could get the money she needs to pay for her tuition." Chizome said.
"I know a few friends from my college 'ears. I was able to convince one of them to help her out. I know this is a, morally gray solution at best." Akai grimaced.
"If I may, perhaps we can go visit your daughter?" Chizome suggested as he finished his tea. The daughter was quick to full the cup with more tea.
"Tha sounds like a great idea! Let's do it in a few days before I return to da studio!" she said.
"Hm… But Chizome, are ya sure ya want to visit the city?" Akai asked in concern.
"I'll wear a mask and keep to myself. And though my legs aren't what they were, I'll be far from defenseless. All I'll need is a baton." Chizome said as he slowly got up. Akai put his hand to his chin, thinking.
"A'ight, we go to da city in two days. Chizome, let's continue your therapy for the trip." Akai said as he stood up as well. Chizome nodded.
'R…ber' a quiet voice prodded at the back of his head. He ignored it.

"Hm! So this is da city that she went to. Not much different from da one I went to for my college days." Akai mused as he looked outside the taxi window.
"Yeah, a lot of Japanese cities are similar at first glance. But they're a lot different when you take another look." his daughter said as she took on a completely different dialect.
"You change your way of talking flawlessly." Chizome noted. The young girl smiled.
"Come with the territory of my job." she said.
"You're skilled."
"Thank you Chizome." she nodded back. Chizome slipped a finger under his mask and shifted it slightly to make it more comfortable. The entire bottom of his face was covered with a black face mask with a lump of plastic attached inside, giving the impression of a nose. Under it, he was scowling at the sight of the city. He was tolerating it because of Akai and his daughter wanting to see the older sister, but he could barely stand the city. It was, in his own words, filled with corrupted people who are one bad day away from tearing each other apart.
The taxi eventually came up to an apartment building, and the three got out. The old woman had stayed back home to care for the plants and herbs they had in the house. Chizome accepted his cane from Akai with a nod, and the three made their way into the building. As the taxi pulled away, the former SHIELD agent suddenly sensed something. He turned his head to where he sensed a presence, but didn't see anything. He narrowed his eyes before following the oblivious two inside.
Chizome's scarred eyes and mask did get some looks, but they were mostly ignored on their way to the elevator. As they walked into the apartment using the spare key they received earlier, Chizome looked around the quaint little place the older daughter lived in. He noted the trash can, the bed, the dresser, the tv, the kitchen. His SHIELD-trained mind and senses immediately picked up on more details.
'It looks as though Young Miss had been drinking more, based on the smell of the room, and the bag overfilled with cans. Is she more troubled then what the letter said? What's more, her apartment is exceptionally neat, even for someone coming over. A stark contrast to her usual, more laid-back behavior.' Chizome thought to himself.
"Hm! Her clothes are pretty professional!" Akai said. His daughter nodded from beside him. Chizome looked over to see that they had opened the dresser, and saw some of what was inside.
'These clothes are incredibly stylish in modern society. Yet before, Young Miss has insisted on wearing older era clothes, or stranger clothes from indie companies on the account of them being more comfortable. Her shoes aren't sneakers, they're heels. Her shorts and track pants have been replaced with dresses. Her ankle socks are now stockings.' Chizome noted. He walked around, making note of more things.
'She hates black coffee, yet I only see milk with very little to any sign of sugar and cream anywhere. She has a love for sweets yet there aren't any. Her room was covered with colorful posters and bright paint, yet everything is painted in traditional colors. Her video games are gone. Her music player is gone. And her TV has a thin layer of dust.' Chizome's frown grew deeper as he continued to walk around. A voice was prodding at the back of his head again, but he ignored it like he had for the last year. Feeling that he had seen enough, he walked towards the door.
"Where are ya going, Chizome?" Akai called as he and his daughter sat down.
"For a walk. I will return later." Chizome called back as he walked out. He walked down the hall, his cane clunking as he made his way out of the building. He didn't want to spend too much time there.
'Though the city isn't that much of an upgrade.' he thought dryly to himself as he walked. People were glancing at his face and quickly ducking away. The former SHIELD Agent wasn't deterred, simply continuing to walk down the streets. He eventually came across an alleyway. He paused, and quickly made his way into it.
"That's enough." he said. A group of delinquents stopped harassing a blond haired young teen.
"Eh? What do you want, old man?!"
"Do you really need four of you to pick on one person?" Chizome sighed as he walked forwards.
"Oh ho! Looks like someone thinks that they're a big boy!" The four surrounded Chizome. One of them, likely the leader, sniggered as he reached for the cane he was holding with a gloved hand. Chizome moved it away from him, causing him to grunt in annoyance. He tried to slap Chizome, only for the former SHIELD Agent to lift the cane to push the hand away. Annoyed, the thug tried to punch Chizome, only to suddenly find himself flipping through the air. He flopped onto the ground, his breath forced out of his lungs.
"Yo! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" the first thug yelled as he swung a fist at Chizome. Chizome's eyes narrowed before swinging his cane. The thugs yelled in surprise as they were launched through the air like rag dolls.
"Woah…" the blond kid gasped.
"D-damn it!" the leader of the thugs cursed as he grabbed a gun out from under his jacket. Chizome looked at him with an unimpressed look before the thug shot at him. But though the bullet whizzed past his head harmlessly, his eyes widened, and his cane whistled through the air as he swung it. The delinquent yelled as his hand was shattered, and the gun was sent flying up. It landed on the ground with a loud clack. Chizome seethed as he glowered at it.
"You."
"M-me?" the kid repeated as he pointed himself.
"Go home."
"R-r-right!" the kid stammered as he ran out of the alleyway. Chizome turned back to the cursing delinquent. His cane forced him to look up at him.
"Where, did you get, that, gun?" he growled.
"I-I… I don't have to tell you anything!" the delinquent growled back. Chizome's cane jabbed his face, earning a painful sounding crack. The voice was starting to get louder.
"Tell me. Now."
"Alwight! Alwight!" the delinquent caved through a bloody mouth.
-Line Break-
'That gun. That was one of the weapons that are SHIELD issued. SHIELD guns are handprint registered. They can only be fired by someone who has the right handprints. And that delinquent didn't show any kind of SHIELD Training. So how is it that a random delinquent on the street managed to get his hand on such a weapon?' Chizome growled as he made his way down the street, thoughts of the Young Miss nearly gone from his mind. He came up to a building. A hardware store. He opened the door and walked inside, seeing a nearly empty store.
"Hello there sir." a woman said as she walked up to him. "Lovely weather today, hm?"
"Yes. But I always carry a umbrella." Chizome responded, having received the password from the delinquent. She smiled devilishly before leading Chizome to the back room. The former SHIELD Agent looked around as they entered a room. The lady pressed a button, and the room began to drop into the ground.
"Are you new?"
"Indeed. I'm especially interested in your tools." Chizome said calmly. She nodded.
"If I may, why is it that you want to see our special gear?" she asked. She looked over to him, studying his scars, his mask. Chizome was silent.
"I thought I put my faith in the right people, in the right cause. I want to know if I was wrong. And your gear will help me correct my mistakes." he said. She smiled.
"I see. Well then, I hope that we can have a nice and profitable relationship." she said. Chizome nodded back silently. He looked forward as the elevator stopped and opened. What was hiding behind the doors was something that made Chizome very unhappy.
"Behold, our large collection." the woman said as she and Chizome walked out. Weapons were laid out in plain sight, on tables, on stands, and on demonstration. From pistols, to rifles, to shotguns, to launchers to vehicles. From knives, to batons, to shields, to vests. Chizome looked around at the weapons, his face becoming darker as he did so.
'These, are all SHIELD Weapons.' he thought.
"These weapons are all fresh, bought straight from the source." the woman said. Chizome's frown deepened.
'Straight from the source? Someone must be acting as a mole. They have to be.' Chizome thought firmly to himself as he walked up to a black suit of armor. It was standing on what looked to be a gliding vehicle. A stand was propped up behind the suit, and the feet were locked onto the machine under it.
"That there is a special suit, made of a special metal alloy. It has life support systems, useful for big fights. And the glider can reach up to 500 miles per hour." the woman said. Chizome studied the blueprints nearby, skimming over the details on how the suit and glider worked. There were pistols, a rifle, strange grenades, and a mask on the table next to the blueprints. He grabbed the mask and lifted it up in front of him. It was an ugly mask, the mouthpiece as an ugly smile, with ugly eyes.
"That mask has infrared and ultraviolet sight and has a zoom function that allows you to see things up to 10 times closer."
"It's hideous." he said.
"It was sold to us that way." the woman said dismissively. "The entire set costs a little over a billion yen."
"Hm… I must say-" Chizome said as he turned around. He froze. His eyes were glued to the sight of a group of missiles, his mind not acknowledging the woman was speaking again.
'Those… those missiles.' he thought to himself. His mind flashed back to the boat. He saw the missiles flying towards the boat again.
'They… they were SHIELD Issued! But… but those missiles are only able to be fired by a SHIELD Vehicle. And the only SHIELD Vehicle in the area was…' his face paled.
'SHIELD. THAT'S WHAT YOU FORGOT. YOU FORGOT THAT SHIELD WAS THE ONE WHO SHOT THEM…" the voice seemed to roar.
'The illegal sales of SHIELD weapons, the helicopter firing on me… how, can this be? Is SHIELD, not what I thought? No… no… no, it cannot be!' his voice filled his head.
"Sir? Are you ready to make your purchase?" the woman asked again as she had a pleasant smile on her face. Chizome looked down, silent. Finally, he spoke.
"Indeed. I admit, this will be quite the honor." he said. The woman looked at him with a confused look.
"I'm sorry sir? What would be quite the honor?"
"Being your last customer." Chizome said before snatching a pistol from the table in front of him and shooting her in the head. He quickly moved into the suit. By the time security had noticed what was happening, he had opened the suit. By the time they started to move, he was in the suit. And when they were able to finally take action, the suit was rising into the air. Akaguro glared through the mask as the machine flew through the air. He gripped one of the grenades and hurled it down at the security guards, sending them flying with a fatal explosion. He lifted up the rifle and shot one of the missiles, causing them to explode. The people inside had their screams cut short. Outside, the nearby people of Osaka yelped as the building shook and collapsed.

'A full year has passed. I've done more research and investigations about this. SHIELD has been creating such powerful and dangerous weapons, and selling them on the streets.' Akaguro thought as he walked around in his hidden base.
He had been tracking down SHIELD bases similar to the one he infiltrated and destroyed the year before. He found a series of powerful weapons and destroyed them with the suit he had donned. Over time, his actions eventually drew the attention of the Japanese government and media. He was given the name, Goblin Butcher. A fitting name, considering how many he had killed over time and the appearance of his armor. He didn't tell the family he was staying with where he had gone. It's likely that they thought he was dead, based on the cane, mask, and some of the clothes he left in the rubble with his wallet. He didn't like doing this to them, the kind family. But he had no choice.
"SHIELD. They're creating such dangerous weapons and letting them out on the street. I must stop them. My actions will ensure that such dangerous weapons can't be allowed out in the regular world." Akaguro said. He put the mask onto his face.
"Even if I sacrifice my life… I will stain SHIELD with its own sins." Akaguro said. "That is my mission to atone for my sins working for SHIELD. And there will be no one who stops my mission."

"Yo Hitoshi! Let's watch some anime!" Denki called as he walked through the apartment.
"No anime young man!" Hisako suddenly said as she appeared with a stern frown on her face. Denki yelped as he jumped, dropping the anime.
"You're grounded!"
"Grounded?! Aw man!" Denki grumbled as he slouched back into his room. Hitoshi glanced up at him.
"You deserve this."
"Shut- ow!" Denki yelped as he slapped his neck. Hitoshi got to his feet quickly.
"What happened?!"
"Something bit me." Denki grumbled as he took his hand away. He paled at the sight of a large spider dead in his hand.
"UWWAAAAHHH! I WAS BITTEN BY A SPIDER!" Denki screeched as he ran around the place, Hitoshi chasing him to calm him down and to see the bite.
Chapter 2 is done. Now, you see the villain, and you already know who's the hero. How will they develop, how will they meet, and how will they clash? Oh, and Chizome Akaguro would've been a better villain for someone like Iida or Midoriya, I admit it, but for this story he's the best option for the development. I think this Denki will have the best character development out of all the character's I have written so far. And that's just everything I have to say. As per the usual, leave a review! Azure out!
