Maggie went to her desk and found OA sitting at his desk and she smiled softly seeing him "Hey can I talk to you in the conference room for a minute?."

OA looked up hearing Maggie, he was confused about why it had to be the conference room "Yeah, is everything okay Maggie?" he was up and walking behind her as they stepped in to the conference room at the back of the JOC.

She smiled hearing his concern "I know the timing on this is really bad with everything that is going on with you and your breakup but Isobel called me in this morning, the ADIC has requested me for an undercover assignment."

"And your accepting it?."

"It's a great opportunity OA one I might never get again."

"I get it. I understand why you are taking it and why they are requesting you, doesn't mean that I'm looking forward to not having you as my partner for a while."

"You sure you are okay with this?."

"Maggie you are right, you turn this down and you definitely won't get another opportunity, you have to take it. Just be careful out there okay? I need my partner coming back to me in one piece."

OA stepped forward and hugged Maggie tight, probably the tightest hug that the two have ever shared. Maggie smiled feeling how tight he was hugging her "I promise I will be back annoying you before you know it."

Jubal was standing at the top of the JOC as he had spoke to Isobel about him and Maggie having the rest of the day off to have time together before she started her assignment tomorrow. Kristen came walking in to the JOC followed closely by Stuart and Tiffany and she stopped beside Jubal and spotted OA and Maggie hugging in the conference room.

"What's going on with those two?" Kristen knew how close OA and Maggie were but it was still strange for them to be standing in the conference room hugging. Maggie stepped back from her hug from OA and she looked at Jubal standing with the others and she waved at them to come in.

Jubal looked at Kristen, Tiffany and Stuart "Maggie has some news that she wants to be the one to share with you all." The three agents were confused as they followed Jubal in to the conference room, he moved to the top of the room leaning on the window ledge close to where Maggie was standing while Kristen, Stuart and Tiffany stood beside OA who looked like he had some tears in his eyes. This had Kristen really worried as she looked at Maggie.

"Please tell me you aren't leaving?."

"Not forever no. I have been asked to go on an undercover assignment, I'm not sure for how long it's going to be. I can't really go in to too much detail about the case."

"How will we know you are okay though?." Kristen needed to know that Maggie was okay.

"Yeah I'm actually with Kristen on this, can your contact agent let us know that you are okay when you check in with them?."

"I don't know why don't you ask him?" Maggie smirked looking at Jubal. "You think you can let them know?."

"Oh I don't know depends if they annoy me or not." Jubal joked playfully as he wanted to try and ease things a little as he could see how emotional Maggie, OA and Kristen were right now.

Stuart looked at Jubal "You are going to be the contact agent for Maggie?."

Jubal nodded smiling softly "Isobel asked the ADIC, this way Maggie knows the agent and you guys will get updates the minute that I get contact from Maggie."

OA smiled "I feel a little better about letting my partner go in there without me."

"So how long do we have before you have to leave?" Kristen was expecting them to have some time.

Maggie looked at Jubal who nodded so she knew that meant that she would be leaving now "I'm actually going to be going now guys the assignment begins tomorrow. I have the rest of the day to get prepared and to talk to my family."

Maggie had just finished talking when Kristen had her wrapped in an extremely tight hug almost knocking the wind out of her. Maggie chuckled softly "I'm going to be coming back don't worry."

Kristen squeezed her once more "You better or OA and I will find you and kick your ass you know that we will."

Maggie laughed softly hearing Kristen and Stuart came up beside Kristen "Okay Kristen you are really going to have to let go so that the rest of us can say goodbye to Maggie."

Kristen shook her head "Nope not ready." This had everyone in the room laughing even though Maggie had tears in her eyes. Kristen finally stepped back and let Stuart and Tiffany both hug Maggie, both tighter than Maggie expected. They both told her to stay safe and they promised to keep an eye on OA and whoever his new partner would be.

Jubal pushed off the window ledge and came over standing beside Maggie "Guys try not to break anything in the JOC when I'm not around today?."

"Wait you aren't going to be here either?" Kristen asked looking at Jubal.

"I'm going to be helping Maggie getting ready for her assignment and she's going to introduce me to her family briefly, I'll be her contact to them as well."

"No one else is leaving the JOC today okay?."

OA laughed hearing Kristen "If we get a case we have to leave."

Maggie shook her head laughing and she headed towards the door and stopped giving OA one more hug "I'll call or text tonight." OA smiled hugging Maggie back just as tight before letting her go and they stood watching her and Jubal leave the conference room and head towards the elevator. They had just reached the elevator when Isobel appeared.

"Hey Maggie, I'm glad I caught you before you left. I know you will do great work on this assignment, Jubal is going to keep us updated as much as he can, be safe out there okay?".

"Thank you Isobel, and thank you for convincing them to allow Jubal to be my contact agent." Maggie was surprised when she was pulled in to a hug by Isobel. She couldn't remember the last time that she had been hugged this many times. Isobel stepped back and squeezed Maggie's arm gently before stepping away heading in to her office.

Maggie turned around to look back in to the JOC and she saw OA, Kristen, Stuart and Tiffany standing watching her, she smiled softly waving at them as she stepped on to the elevator as Jubal was already standing in it holding the door for her. When the doors to the elevator closed Maggie lay her head on Jubal's shoulder.

"You okay baby?" he kissed her head thankful that it was only them in the elevator.

"That was a lot harder than I expected, how the hell am I suppose to say goodbye to you."

Jubal wrapped his arm around Maggie kissing her head "We will still have contact baby, we will find a way to make this work I promise."
