Me and Harry were finally let out of the cupboard after a week. They locked us in with no food or water but Harry used some of my hair pins to pick the lock so we snuck out and ate then locked ourselves up again. Harry was very angry and I think he's angry at me for not being angry I'm not sure though. So that let us out and one morning Harry was getting the mail when he got a letter. He started to open it when uncle Vernon took it and burned it, but strangely they were appearing every where. Finally after the food the house Uncle Vernon took us to a small house in the middle of a lake. But what he didn't know was it was me and Harry's birthday eve. Clearly they didn't know or didn't care because they gave us super thin blankets, piled the rest on Dudley and left us to find the softest patch of dirt on the floor. I had a lot of bright sides to this but when Harry gets upset he usually doesn't want to hear it.
Our neighbor owns a small clothing company and I'm very good at sewing so I help her sometimes. Usually I use the money for books, I love books. But for a month now I've been saving up to but Harry a small handheld game. It's a little video game that costs only 50 dollars. I was planning on buying it today but we weren't home so as me and Harry watched the clock I decided I would tell him about the gift, "Harry?" I said, "Mhm?" He responded, "Well I wanted to tell you I got you a present," I started he looked up from the ground with a jolt, "it's a small hand held video game, I used the money from sewing to buy it," I finished, he just stared at me for a minute but then he gave me a hug, then something started banging on the door, "BANG BANG BANG," and a huge man with a brown Cooke and big shaggy black hair and beard, broke down a door and walked in. Uncle Vernon came in carrying a gun and Dudley stood next to his parents. Me and Harry tried to flatten our selves against the fire place and hoped he wouldn't see us.
The man said "Harry?" Then Harry came out from against the wall despite my repeated attempts to tell him not too. "Ah yes, here is yer letter then," then he saw a slip of paper that had fallen out of his pocket right next to me, it said plain and simply just "Eila" I found this odd but then the man picked up the paper. He stared at it for a moment questioningly then he had a expression like he solved a mystery, "Eila?" The man called, I decided to move, "Yes?" I said, he didn't notice me, so Harry said "She's right here," The man stared at Harry for a moment then his gaze shifted and he saw me, "Ah yes, I have a yer letter here too...here ye go. The man said, I stared at the letter but before I could open it Harry said, "Who are you?" "Ah yes forgot to tell ye me name, me name is Rubeus Hagrid, but you can call me Hagrid, I'm the Hogwarts grounds keeper," the man said, this seemed to give a boost of courage to Uncle Vernon, "I WILL NOT PAY TO SEND THEM TO THAT RUDDY SCHOOL," Uncle Vernon bellowed. Of course Hagrid took no notice to this, insisted that Harry and Eila come with him and they left.
