I am not even one chapter in and I have guests and people PMing me about how this is just another MHA bashing and it's not! It's only one chapter people! Please only constructive criticism! I have a plan set out for this and I have an idea where this storying is going to go in terms of MHA and Nasuverse! Please don't stereotype this.
"A city of heroes and Hero hopefuls," Ritsuka commented as he paced along the length of his window, staring out of it to the peaceful city below. "In an age of heroes, blood and death decided who was a hero...not popularity polls?"
"Kingdoms don't exist anymore darling," Raikou commented as she set up tea.
"But still...even modern war heroes where that...heroes," he turned to look at the Demon Slayer who gave a wry smile.
"Mayhaps," she conceded with a slight head nod. "Though you best figure out what our plan of action is so we may head back home."
"Yes, yes," he waved off. "I will be consulting with Sherlock and Sion later today asbout connecting into the week Ley Lines that Japan has."
"Semiramis and Gilgamesh were very….affected when we were in the middle east and all Ley Lines from the Age of Gods were fully depleted and dead."
"There's no mystery and magic...not much," he sighed.
"Drink your tea and relax, the move was stressful," She sighed, giving a bow. "We will figure out how to get home soon and how we will deal with the low mana."
"I worry…" Ritsuka murmured, shaking his head. "Apollo doesn't spit prophecies willy nilly," he nibbled at his bottom lip before sagging as he thought about the tiny sheep that Paris had. "How are the doors?"
'The Doors between our facilities are up and running. We can be in Paris within a moment's walk," Loli Da Vinci smirked as she barged in, ignoring Raikou's scowl before plopping down. "And we have another inquiry from UA. They want a teacher."
"And our more...scholarly servants refuse still," Ritsuka shot back, looking to the high school. "Even Chiron doesn't want to teach them and that's an achievement."
"They don't want to accept this world and their ethics. Chiron is the closest to what they have, but all these kids want to be heroes that gain money and fame, not too much unlike the heroes he trained...they are fundamentally different."
"It makes sense,' Ritsuka shrugged, ignoring the concerned looks his two servants gave him. "In a world where everyone has some form of magic, then saving everyone just becomes something expected," he sighed. "And you know Chiron doesn't deal too well with hero worship."
"Indeed," Raikou nodded. "I'll be heading down to make dinner for tonight with the other staff."
'Good," Ritsuka nodded, waving as she left leaving him with Loli Vinci.
"Ritsuka...What are you planning on doing," She asked, placing the green tea down. "I know you and after all these years, you can't get by me that easily anymore."
"What was the position that they wanted us to fill," he hummed.
"Ethics."
"Well...when was the date for the interview?"
'Whenever we found time."
'At UA?"
'They would prefer it here."
'Not subtle are they?"
"People have tried for over a year to get in this place, Ritsuka. We can't allow them-"
"Oh we will. If only to get them off our backs. Yan," Ritsuka spoke as the Assassin dropped from the rafters. "Kadoc and Pepe are still in Russia and India respectively? Yu in China?"
"Yup! But I can go and call them!"
'No need, they don't need to worry about this," he smiled. "Now...how about you create a director persona?"
"On it boss," he winked before using his skill Doppelganger.
It was a mix of many people that was hard to pick apart, but made something.
A middle aged man in his mid-30's, black hair slicked back, green eyes, slightly buff build and a presence of power.
"Good," Ritsuka clapped his hands. "Meet Kirschtaria Wodime! Half Japanese born, but lived in Europe!"
"My parents wanted me to have a name that reflected where I would grow up," he explained like it was natural.
"Of course you never planned on leaving UA alone," Loli Vinci pouted at his smirk.
'Nope! Besides, I want to see if they really will be the ones," he sighed.
"Of course…" Loli sighed before eyeing her master again as Yan left. "Would you like the latest medical report?"
"Nothing changed I assume," he shot back with a small glare, the girl nodding.
"Meuniere, Kawata, Octavia, Tomarin, Chin, Kayan, Elrond and Marcus are all in stable condition at the moment. If things go as we suspect they should be waking up soon...Director and Mashu…"
"They were idiots to get in the way of that attack."
"Say that all you want! Denigrate them all you want but they knew in the end it had to be you to go forward and fight this threat," Loli yelled, bothered by his coldness. As she looked at the boy she saw him looking to the ground, hands clenched tight as he tried to no doubt get that fight out of his mind.
"One year," his voice shook. "I wanted one year of peace after everything had been done. I didn't care if I was sidelined by the Association and UN. Forced to be a mentor to students who didn't respect. I didn't care that I would be forced into a paperpusher position...I just wanted ONE year!"
"I...I know...Ritsuka…," Loli sighed. "I know all you want is peace but...if it's him backing this man then we need you," she expressed.
'I know," he admitted, moving to grab a bottle of liquor. "I know and I hate it."
"You know that Sherlock and Moriarty switched out your alcohol stash right?"
"It's nice to pretend. Leave please," he sighed. "I'll be contacting UA soon."
"Don't try and force this," she advised. "And come down for dinner."
Silence was her answer.
AT UA HIGHSCHOOL
"What! We actually got permission," Mic yelped as Nezdu explained the situation.
"Indeed we did," the Bear, Rat, Mouse hybride nodded into his tea. "Their vice director agreed to fill in the position of our ethics teacher."
'Their vice director," Midnight yelped. "Not only do we have monsters as students and All Might as a teacher, but the vice director of the murderous agency?!"
Ah...chaldea's rather unsightly nickname. The Murderous Agency.
They did have a trail of bodies, more often than not traffickers, rapitists, murderers and other nasty sorts that would have rotted in jail. Though their methods were...intense and their people were intense as well.
"They are also expecting him to run the World Wide National Museum...can you believe the countries basically gave all that stuff up," Snipe huffed.
Ah that WWNM, a collection of every country's rather large history to be shown and maintained by Chaldea. It would have relics from 'Old Heroes' and myths and legends that the countries had. They had readily given Chaldea all their historic artifacts without much complaint.
"Yes, it seems that he will agree to teach ethics three times a week, the other two will be...mythologies and legends in the Museum...or no deal," nezdu explained.
"But the bus fees! That is going to be so much-"
"They have it covered,' Nezdus sighed. "They insisted on paying the fee."
"They seem intent on hanging onto the past," Aizawa commented as he looked up from his jelly pouch. "Their director even more so."
He was a fanatic about history, anyone hero or villain could tell that as he ordered his heroes to have the names of people from legends...often corresponding with where they were located out in the world.
"He's agreed for us to see the outer sanctum of the facility where we will conduct the meeting with the Vice. Apparently their warning to us is that he is older than he appears."
"Oh," Powerloader asked.
"I would have suspected him for a 1st year sidekick," Nezdu offered as he pulled up the photo to the projector.
"Well he'll be popular," Midnight shook her head as she looked at the boy. "How old is he in the records?"
"He apparently just turned 26," Nezdu read off the file. "He has some sort of youth quirk I believe, it's never been fully researched."
"He looks like he's 18 if barely," Vlad King scoffed.
'Right here. December 18th 2XXX," Nezdu offered up, he looked to the blood hero with a piercing gaze. "I know it's hard to believe but that's his age."
Ritsuka Fujimaru. Male. Aged-26. Vice Director of Chaldea Security Organization. Quirk-Youth?
He was a beautiful boy, with inky black tresses that fell slightly past his shoulders, swept back and gave clear sight of his pale moon-like skin and crystal blue eyes.
"We have the meeting in two days. He agreed for me to bring along 3 other people for the meeting as he will be taking the heads of PR, Management and Support with him to see if they think helping him during the course would be worth their time."
"Well All Might-" Snipe began only to be cut off by Nezdu.
"They said that if All Might were to come then the deal is off. They do not wish to have the No.1 Hero in their facility. They fear...ideologies may clash," he coughed, Toshinori nodding as he clenched his fist impossibly tight. "And there is also...fear of repercussions of what happened a week ago."
He had a confrontation with one of the heroes not even a week prior to this meeting, they were a duo. The horned one named Shuten had melted off a man's hand, the screaming villain admitting that they were how he used his quirk and that he used them to butcher women and children who pissed him off.
Her partner named Kintoki had offered to off the man to rid the world of someone who killed more than 50 plus people.
The Back Alley slasher had finally been caught and almost brutally murdered himself.
Toshinori had gone into a rage and tried to subdue the two of them, using all his power but Kintoki met him blow for blow and was actually having FUN when All Might was trying to detain him. Shuten had merely cheered on the man, getting drunk off a sake jug at her waist as she sat on the crying man and poured more poison on him.
Finally a man and a flying woman came to pick up the two of them, stating that they had immunity with the japanese government to handle things how they felt.
Toshinori attempted to follow them but was met with a shot to the thigh and a sword at his neck.
"You best figure out that even though you're the No.1 in Japan...that's under the HC and not us. We are something more," he, Ryoma he said his name, murmuring into his ear as crowds watched in horror and awe. "Stay away from Chaldea and don't even attempt to stop us again. It will end badly for you...Oryou lets go before Shuten actually kills the man."
"Okay," the floating woman nodded, motioning the woman to get up from the prone body and into the van.
'Ara, ara,'' she purred as her tiny body molded into Kintoki. "He looks like you boy if you grew up and matured...I find myself hating it."
'Don't compare me to him,'' Kintoki grumbled as he helped her into the van and hoisted himself in. "This is a warning you hear? Next time ain't going to be so golden my friend!"
And with that they drove away, leaving Toshinori with a bullet wound and a small slice on his neck from the insanely sharp katana that the man held.
"I...understand," he nodded, Nezdu doing the same back before speaking.
"I'll be taking Aizawa, Nemuri and Hizashi to Chaldea. Nemuri for her abilities with art, Hizashi for his English and Aizawa as our toughest...heroics teacher," he breathed.
"Understood," the three nodded.
"They expect us tomorrow,' he began. "I expect you three in your hero gear and I expect you to follow everything we are told."
"Will Power Loader be giving us small nanobots?"
"No," Nezdu grumbled, rubbing his eyes. "I fear they may be a bit...too smart for something like that to work."
"Makes sense," said the man shrugged.
"This meeting is over. All of you go home and relax...the next few days will be stressful," nezdu grumbled the others nodding before heading out.
CHALDEA SECURITY ORGANIZATION HEADQUARTERS, JAPAN
"So the rat is bringing in three teachers? He's not fighting to bring All Might," Ritsuka asked as he looked up from his Curry, courtesy of Parvati.
"They seem to fear that Shuten and Kintoki will be...angry at being interrupted," Bedivere said as he stood beside Avagrain.
"They barely remember what they ate for lunch yesterday if it's not interesting," Ritsuka shook his head. "We don't hold grudges."
"We're called the Murderous Agency," Avagrain sighed. "This is not good for reputation."
"Semantics," Ritsuka winked. "And it's not like Chaldea actually had a good reputation in our world. I mean, Seraphix?"
Avagrain went to speak in protest before a knock sounded.
"Brother. Mother wants to know if you desire to have the other Beasts out of sight," A familiar gravel like voice asked as he came in.
"Kingu," Rituska smiled as the Lancer came in.
Kingu, oh sweet Demonic Son of Tiamat.
He had forced his way into a summoning not long after Babylonia, the eyes of Ritsuka, one so determined to go against HIM had sent him into a spiral of desire to see that determination either extinguish or burn bright.
So here he was, many years later, Ritsuka Fujimaru's self proclaimed Big Brother and one of the few people who was extremely close to him.
Don't get him wrong. Ritsuka was close to all his servants, but only about 11 of them were extremely close to him, sans Mashu of course.
"You look ill brother," Kingu commented, stopping beside the two knights. "You have not come down wih something have you?"
"I am...tired of all these emails," he sighed, leaning back in his chair. "The Heroes Commission is determined to get us under their thumb. They have not taken too well to Seraphix that...suddenly appeared," he smirked.
"Was it wise to send that degenerate of a woman to the place where she nearly ended the world," Avagrain demanded, face twitching in anger as he thought about the sex crazed fiend.
"She won't do anything, she practically begged to head back to the oil rig to get away from this place," Ritsuka shook his head.
"Of course," Bedivere nodded.
It was...very difficult for them all who were still devoted to their religion to live in a world that all but threw them away. It was easy to see the dying magical creatures and mysterious wildlife...Robin barely could find the entrance to the Sherwood Forest when they were in Europe. The entrance long since shriveled up and dead.
Billy still consoles him from time to time at the death of his old home.
"Things are not going our way in this world...it was his plan after all," Ritsuka cracked his neck.
"Why would it,' Avagrain asked within no real heat. "We are Chaldea after all."
"I guess you're right…"
"You did not answer my question about the beasts," Kingu asked.
"He will never leave me alone," Ritsula murmured, hand touching his shadow that felt...warm under his hand. "But send the others to the holding cells for the time. No need for them to be out in the open."
"Right, we'll deal with that," Bedievere volunteered, motioning for Avagrain to leave as they stared at Kingu.
"Thanks. I have a feeling there is more to why you're here brother."
"Indeed."
It was silent as the two knights left, the Black Knight sighing as he looked to the Demonic son before leaving fully.
"I don't want to hear it."
'Let me go and kill that man," Kingu hissed, slamming his fist onto the table. "I can end this and end the others grab for power!"
"I know you can and I know it's the best course of action, but a prophecy is a prophecy and you don't have the power to break that chain of fate," Ritsuka shot back.
"You've changed," Kingu huffed. "Where is my brother!"
'I haven't left," Ritsuka insisted. "Things are different now. We have limited mana and limited personnel, we are struggling in this world."
"Then let me handle it!"
"I can't lose any of you. You're on a thing enough rope as it is with the Heroes commissions and...the peoples support...we even have reports of a manaica on the streets targeting some of us...called the Hero Killer," Ritsuka rubbed his forehead.
"You're putting all this faith into changing the ideals of the new generation."
"It's our only chance to go by fate...if not...then we'll glady go against it," he looked up into the dark violet eyes of Kingu with his dark forest green hair. "As we have many times before."
"There's my brother," Kingu smirked.
"Just because I am playing politician doesn't change a thing," Ritsuka assured him. "I won't falter and if I do I have an army of you to whip me back into shape."
"I still don't like this," he gave a crude motion to his body and desk with a sneer.
"We can't go against the game here. We need to play it. But it doesn't mean we have to play by their rules. When have we ever played by anyones rules?"
"Good. I'll go call Sherlock, Da Vinci and BB to the office so you can prepare for tomorrow."
'Don't remind me. Make sure that Avicebron and Paracelsus set up the defenses and have Assassin Emiya remind the assassins to stick to the shadows?"
"Right."
"All that's left is up to fate tomorrow."
"Or a few well placed jabs."
All Kingu got was a wry smile and a wink in his direction.
Ritsuka received a smile back, and with that he leaned back into his chair and heaved a heavy sigh.
This was going to be one of the hell of a journey...but not enough to make him miss the early days.
