Explanation: The first chapter of this story was lost to me, so, you will enter chapter 2 of this story, but, I guess you already know the characters, Yamato, Izumi, Mimi, Takuya, etc...

Mimi felt all eyes on her and she couldn't help but grimace, she was nervous...very nervous! And now that she was finally in that place she didn't know what to do or say. The last time she had been there she had been keeping a secret...and now it was still like that, although, this secret was not quite the same as it had been at that moment.

She just prayed to heaven she didn't run into that boy.

She sighed in relief, since, being "new" they were to go to the office, so, they had been spared checking in with the others in the central room. It was still too early to meet certain people again.

-Apartment number twenty on the third floor, side A," Takuya mused thoughtfully. Mimi turned in the direction of her brother.

-That was your apartment the last time we were here, wasn't it?" asked the brunette and couldn't help but see how her brother grimaced. The last time they had been there a lot of things had happened, hadn't they?

-Which apartment was yours?

Mimi looked at her keys, which had a striking wooden pendant with a carved number 30 and small letters on the side, "Apartment thirty on the B side of the second floor.

-But, you know that if something happens you just have to send me a message and I'll be here in five minutes..." She paused, "No! In two!" she corrected.

Mimi smiled, her brother was great, the only one who felt that he was truly with her at that moment, because, since the moment she had made that "mistake" she felt that her parents were disappointed and somehow she felt them far away.

-I hope this year will be a good one," the boy mused.

-Same here.- Sighed the Tachikawa, although, she knew that if she met certain people maybe some things could happen again. She only prayed that whatever happened she could get back those people like her two best friends, Sora and Zoe, two girls that she cherished so much in her life and that she had been forced to leave because of hiding her secret.

Rika grimaced in disgust at the sight of all the luggage lying on her bed. After waiting more than two hours to check in and receive the keys to her apartment at last! In the place that had been her room for the last four years of her life. She leaned against the doorframe, as she was simply a little tired. It had been a very bad idea to go out to a party one night before entering boarding school, she was so exhausted.

-A voice caught her attention, a voice that Rika Nonaka recognized instantly, the voice of her friend and roommate, Hikari Yagami.

She turned around and there she was with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

-That doesn't happen every day," Nonaka commented.

Hikari smiled, "One more year together.

Unconsciously Rika smiled too, without being able to help it, somehow she felt at ease with the Yagami girl, even though both were very opposite, they managed to understand each other very well, because of that, she always begged her mother to leave her with her when organizing the apartments.

Besides, that girl kept her secret since...that night.

-How old are you now?" Hikari asked, "Four?

Rika nodded-Exactly four with this one.

-I was checking the list and it looks like we won't have a third partner for the time being," replied the brown Yagami. Rika smiled triumphantly at this, since, that meant she wouldn't have to go around hiding her dr...stuff.

-We won't have to put up with another girl like Miyako then," Nonaka mused, not being able to avoid remembering how the year they had had an unbearable, screaming, and loud classmate, whom she detested since she was simply irritable, although she liked Hikari, she had not liked her.

-Like every year, can I have the room on the left," asked the brunette pointing to a door.

Rika nodded, "It's already yours.

Hikari smiled and without further ado went to the door she had pointed to, "Well then, I'd better start packing my things," she said before entering the room with her bags.

-I will do the same," said Rika and entered the room where she had already left her bags, closing the door behind her.

She smiled sideways.

Who was she kidding?

She was burdened with tidying up her room, she never did. Whenever he arrived at the boarding school, he always left his suitcases and as the days went by, he would take out his clothes.

He grimaced again. Another year was starting and he was not really in the mood. This place sucked, it had always sucked, ever since he had started going there, this place had seemed to him the worst place in the world. He sighed, from time to time he remembered that night, but he knew perfectly well that it would be neither a good nor a bad memory, many things had happened. Everyone had made mistakes that night, that was something that no one could deny, even if some ignored that others had made mistakes, even if some felt guilty, even if others did not feel guilty, even if some still dealt with the consequences, even if some did not deal with consequences, there were people counted on their fingers that had not made some mistake that time.

He checked the pockets of his jacket and from one pocket he withdrew a cigarette, which he stared at. There was his consequence, his serious consequence. Although in reality it was one consequence of many, since, the strongest night had been that April 3rd, but, all those weeks, months and year had been full of things that no one would have imagined.

-New apartment, new life," Koichi mused as he opened the door to the apartment where the twins would live with another roommate.

New apartment?

Kouji looked carefully at the entrance of the place, it said "Apartment No. 20" He had already been there, it was not a new apartment for him, in that place three years ago he had committed something on...that night of April 3rd. He grimaced and looked at his brother Would he ever tell him?

-Who do you think will be our partner this year," Koichi asked.

Kouji grimaced- I don't know- He entered the place- I just hope it won't be someone as dumb as Daisuke- He would never forget how last year he had gotten the same apartment with an unbearable, screaming boy who lived arguing with his other roommate, Takeru Ishida, his brother-in-law, Zoe's younger brother. Simply that year had been summed up in a hell, the blond liked him, since he respected his space, but the brown Motomiya had hated him with his life.

-Look who's here..." Someone spoke from the door and both twins turned around to find a brown boy with chocolate eyes, brown skin apparently the same age as them, "Yes, they are the Minamoto-Kimura twins.

The twins exchanged glances surprised by the boy's presence. It had been several years since they had last seen each other, but they would never forget Takuya Tachikawa, Taichi Yagami's former soccer co-captain and best friend.

-I can't believe it," Koichi mused, totally surprised, "Is it really you, Takuya?

-Wow! They thought they would get rid of me for a long time," the boy joked.

The two twins exchanged glances and a certain smile couldn't help but appear on their faces.

-Well, we should have guessed that the soccer player would deign to come back someday, right? Koichi joked and without further ado, the boys approached each other to shake hands.

-What a coincidence that we were in the same apartment," Takuya commented.

-Or a punishment from the devil himself," Kouji commented this time.

Takuya rolled his eyes- You're always so cool- He knew his friend all his life, so his comments were normal- Years will pass and you'll stay the same, come on! Admit that you missed me, my friend.

-You'd like that." A small smile appeared on the boy's face.

So many memories went through his mind, a lot of nostalgia inside him, it was as if yesterday he had just been that girl who had arrived at the boarding school, but, who was characterized by singing everywhere, dancing, always being a bomb of energy, but, at the same time being a sophisticated girl. But, everything had changed when everything had been "revolutionized" that night.

She sighed.

Sometimes she wondered what had happened to her a...She grimaced. He wondered what had happened to that boy.

The blond looked intently at the door of his new apartment "Number Eighteen."

He sighed.

Why did everything remind him of that year?

It could be because the whole Boarding School had been involved, well almost the whole Boarding School, since, the children under twelve who lived in the building next door had been spared, but, the others had all been involved. He always wondered how that place had become a black market. There were thousands of answers, but he summed them up in the fact that the "children of wealthy families" were not perfect.

He took a deep breath and without further ado opened the door with his new keys, praying to heaven not to meet an unbearable companion. His pleas were in vain, for, upon entering, the first thing he saw was the face of his disastrous best friend, Taichi Yagami.

-Yamato," exclaimed the tousle-haired boy, "One more year together!

He grimaced, "Apparently so," they both waved their fists at each other.

-Another year you'll have to put up with me," the Yagami joked.

-Poor me," the blond Ishida lamented.

-How did it go in France," asked Taichi.

-Well," he answered, "It was good for me to breathe new air, go to parties and compose new songs for my band.

-A new song?" Taichi mused, "It will be perfect for the beginning of school party, which by the way will be excellent, from what Sora told me, the organization of the party is being a success.

-I hope so," commented Yamato, "I just hope it won't be a crazy party.

-Quiet," spoke Taichi again, "There will never be a party like this again..." There was a sudden and uncomfortable silence between them. They had promised each other to talk as little as possible about that night, since the aftermath of that time was difficult to talk about- How is your new song?

-You'll hear it," the blond answered.

-I'm here," appeared a boy with blue eyes, brown hair and brown skin, calling the attention of those present.

-Ryo..." Taichi spoke and the boy approached both of them to greet them with his fists.

-So we are going to live this hell together this year," commented the Akiyama.

Taichi smiled, "Apparently so.

-It will be a good year then," commented Ryo.

-Of course," Yamato replied, sincerely he liked Akiyama quite a lot, he was part of his band, so it would be great not only to see him at rehearsals, but also there, "I just hope you won't be a mess, because Tai's mess is enough.

-Hey," Taichi exclaimed a bit "offended", "That mess is the way I organize myself.

How can it not be?

Yamato rolled his eyes. If his tidiness meant leaving his socks at the entrance and his shoes halfway down the hall, then, he couldn't imagine what a real mess would be like for him. He sighed.

Ryo shook his head slightly- Don't worry about my friend, I am tidy with my things, just as I am tidy with my life.- This last caused the three of them to exchange quick glances and then all three of them let out a chorus of laughter, since, they knew perfectly well that the Akiyama's life was a mess, he lived in parties, he lived dating girls, sometimes with two or three at a time. Although in reality they all knew that Akiyama's gaze would always be on the Nonaka girl.

The blonde sister of Yamato and Takeru looked attentively at her new apartment where she would live that year that had just begun, she looked down to her keys- Apartment number 30.

-He heard someone speak and did not hesitate to turn around to find a girl with red hair, tanned skin and amber eyes.

-Sora," exclaimed the blonde excited to see her best friend and without hesitation they both hugged each other, "I didn't see you at the reception, I thought you didn't come.

-How could you see me if you were hugging your boyfriend and there were more than a hundred guys in a room? asked the Takenouchi.

Zoe smiled, "Heh! You're right," she replied.

-I'm glad to know that we'll be sharing the same apartment again," Sora mused.

-Same here," the blonde replied, "Who do you think will be our other roommate?

Sora raised her shoulders, "I don't know, but it sure won't be Eri, I saw that she was settling in the apartment across the street," she pointed to the door.

-It's a pity," the blonde lamented, "I liked her.

-The truth is that since her best friend had left, Zoe and she had had three roommates and only the redhead, Eri Karan, had liked them, unlike other girls she used to hide when they both went out at night to hide or when Kouji or Taichi visited them, or also when they drank something to forget the stress of the studies- Hopefully our new roommate is as cool as her.

Zoe nodded- The same, can you imagine if we get someone like Airu?

Sora grimaced as she remembered the blonde girl with pale skin and pink eyes, girlfriend of Yuu Amano, the DJ of the boarding school, who had shared a room with them and then they were on everyone's lips for the things they did or said, so much so that once there was a rumor that Sora was pregnant, something that made Taichi very alert and literally forced her to go to the office of the owner of the boarding school and invent that she was still "pure".

-It would be horrible," she finally mused, sighing, "By the way, did you hear the latest news?

-News?" Zoe asked, "Excuse me, but, since I came back from France, I haven't had time to catch up.

Sora took out her cell phone, "It seems the Tachikawa family has...

-My family what?" A voice interrupted the redhead causing both of them to turn to the door to find a brown girl with pale skin and honey eyes, "Did they miss me?

Sora and Zoe exchanged glances, "I can't believe it," muttered the blonde.

-Mimi?- Sora asked in surprise.

From the next chapter I will begin to tell what happened three years ago by memories, but, in this chapter I found that it was too soon.

Place your bets, what do you think Mimi's secret will be?
