Changed a little detail from the last chapter about what Peter's new job at the facility is, now it's for Stark Industries working at the Facility which is a joint effort with SHIELD.
A few days later Peter had been out patrolling as Spider-Man and had responded to an attempted robbery of an Alchemax facility by the newest iteration of the Sinister Six; there was Doctor Otto Octavius or Doctor Octopus (Doc Ock for short) one of his most recurring enemies who had an arrogant posture with his goggles, green jumpsuit and harness attached to his back along with four mechanical tentacles. There was Adrian Toomes better known as the Vulture an elderly man in a dark green bodysuit, dark goggles with a mouth guard and a flight pack on his back with four bladed wings attached to it. There was Sergei Kravinoff or Kraven the Hunter, a muscular man in a lion fur vest who was an ex-KGB agent turned animal hunter in Africa who to make Spider-Man his pretty had paid to have his genes combined with animal DNA to have the strength of a lion, the speed of a cheetah and the leaping capabilities of a leopard. There was Max Dillon better known as Electro with a green and yellow bodysuit and a star shaped scar on his face with his body radiating with electricity. There was Aleksei Sytsevich better known as the Rhino was a thug in the Russian Mob who volunteered for a procedure that increased his size and mass and permanently bonded him to a silver technological armor with a helmet with a horn on it. Finally there was Fred Myers a disgraced former pro baseball player who now went by Boomerang and wore a black bodysuit with white armor plates and a white visor along with his black mask that didn't cover his mouth.
"Your defeat is finally here you wall-crawling menace." Octavius gloated in a victorious face as Peter was sent back with massive tears in his suit, Peter was doing his best to dodge their attacks as he was getting up to his feet.
"Bet you are a loyal subscriber to the Daily Bugle but are you so down on your luck that you needed to bring the Sinister Six back together just to rob Alchemax?" Peter asked as Octavius and Toomes grew angry.
"It's not stealing if it belonged to us in the first place, Oscorp was more than happy to keep what I had invented after they cut my funding and fired me! Besides working as a team will always be advantageous to your goals." Octavius told him and Peter knew that after his final battle with the Green Goblin; Norman Osborn was arrested and sentenced with his son Harry (who was Peter's roommate in Empire State University) moving away and sold the company off and it was combined with its new parent company to create Alchemax.
"Only fitting that Osborn lose his company considering he bought Toomes Aerodynamics from my board and booted me out of the company that I started! All the contracts he profited from using my company's resources!" Toomes ranted as Peter managed to glare at him.
"Funny you should say that considering that you were called a vulture before you donned that suit Adrian!" Peter told him off knowing that in the business world Toomes had a reputation for buying off smaller failing company and was called a vulture picking up the scraps.
"One of your final smart comments before your mask shall be mounted as my finest trophy!" Kraven told him.
"You shall be squashed like the dumb insect you are!" snarled Sytsevich.
"Spiders aren't insects..." Peter managed to correct him.
"Joke all you want but I get to be here for the death of Spider-Man!" Myers said excitedly.
"You really scraped off the bottom of the barrel when putting together your new Six; I mean Boomerang really Doc?" Peter asked as Myers got angry.
"You will be destroyed and then I can set my sights onto the other freaks!" said Dillon as Peter shook his head. Dillon was an electrical engineer at a lab which was experimenting with genetically altered electric eels and the lab was broken into by mercenaries. Peter came in to stop them and in the ensuing fight Dillon was accidentally knocked into the tank with the eels causing him to be given electrical powers after waking from a small coma. He became a criminal and was obsessed with killing Spider-Man who he blamed and already had anti Superhero views before.
However through the wall was Jennifer in her business suit and glasses as she punched Sytsevich in the gut sending him back. "Lucky for you I was here to join in the fun after court was dismissed for the day, are you alright?" Jennifer asked Peter concerned helping him up as he told him that he will be fine as he has a healing factor.
Then came in through the hole was Steve, Sam, Tony and Carl who were ready for action. The Six then was taken by surprise but did their best as the Avengers went in to fight as Peter set his sights on Octavius. "You were right about one thing Doc, being a part of the team is advantageous." Peter told Octavius who had grown furious and Peter was dodging his robot tentacles.
Steve used his shield to disarm Myers and easily took him down, "You're part of a team now Spider-Man so you don't have to go in against these numbers alone now." Steve took the time to say in Peter's direction.
"I can take on most of these guys on their own but nice to know that I don't have to fight stupid odds like this on my own now Cap." Peter told Steve with a smile on his face as Jennifer pummelled Sytsevich as he grew angry and managed to knock him down with a well aimed punch to the mouth.
Sam was in the air dodging green smoke bombs from Toomes, "the famous Captain America's partner who uses what was created from my mind! Oscorp helped create that technology for the military with my invention! I was close to perfecting it when Osborn bought me out!" Toomes ranted as Steve threw his shield to Sam who caught it and used it to bash Toomes' wings before throwing it back to Steve and catching Toomes.
"I made flying in the skies my own Toomes!" Sam told Toomes as he took him to the ground.
Steve dodged the attempts by Kraven to leap and attack him but took some punches but some good hits from the shield sent Kraven down. Carol was sending her blasts at Dillon who was doing his best to take them and send out his electrical blasts. "Superhuman freaks and the Avengers are the worst ones..." Dillon ranted before a blast from Carol to the head knocked him out.
"He hates Superhumans but he goes about blasting electricity?" Carol asked incredulously.
"Be my guest in telling him that as I gave up trying to point that out to him when it became clear that he won't listen." Peter told her with a shrug off his shoulders as he finished off fighting Octavius.
"No, NO! This was to be my ultimate triumph over you and I won't have it taken away from me!" snapped Octavius as he was knocked out by a punch to the gut from Peter. Peter smiled in triumph with his teammates.
In the headquarters of the government think tank Advanced Idea Mechanics, man in a business suit was in a meeting with some scientists and was not looking happy, "Mr Forson, we knew that giving Extremis to Rampart was a trial run to see how effective it would be in the field. With a lot of work it should still be feasible..." one of the scientists told the man Andrew Forson the company's CEO who shook his head.
"It had better because my benefactor was not happy with that trial run, Extremis caused Babbington to do more damage to himself than he did to Captain America or the Falcon! We had better show that Extremis is an advanced idea to live up to its namesake! So tell Killian and Hanson to keep working on it and the future reports had better be more promising!" Forson snapped at them as they quickly left.
He looked to the monitor showing WHIH News and it showed outside the Alchemax facility the Sinister Six was being put into custody as reporters were circling Captain America, the Falcon, Iron Man, She-Hulk and Spider-Man. Steve Rogers was in the middle of them and answered questions about the six of them together:
"We were hoping to do this in a special press conference but now is as good a time as any to tell you that the six of us shall continue to work together as one. We have assembled once more the Avengers and we will be working to do as the Avengers have done before, protecting the planet from threats that we may not be able to take on alone!"
Reporters continued asking questions especially if he and Tony had made up, "This complicates things..." muttered Forson.
Later at the Avengers Facility in his personal lab after being checked out by medical, Peter was looking over the ripped remains of his suit as Jennifer joined him. "Totalled but I have the materials now to build a better one which I was hoping to do so for some time if I could get the money for it. New materials and I hope to have a special coating over it for extra impact and armouring." Peter told Jennifer.
"Smart as well as cute but a tough one, definitively glad that I asked you out after that fashion show." Jennifer said but there was the sound of the intercom being turned on.
"A Wakandan aircraft has turned up by the Facility." Said the voice of the AI FRIDAY as Peter and Jennifer looked surprised.
Outside the facility Steve was leading the six Avengers along with some personnel as they looked and saw the high tech black Wakandan aircraft land and open up. Out came in his black uniform and a black helmet with panther ears was T'Challa the King of Wakandan and their protector the Black Panther. He was followed by the serious and bald headed guards and agents to the Wakandan royal family known as the Dora Milaje with their spears.
"Good you see you again King T'Challa." Steve said coming closer to T'Challa with the nanites of his suit causing T'Challa's helmet to disappear and show his face.
"I was going home after a successful mission when I hear of the Avengers being brought back together. Did you forget how to contact me or were you snubbing me of an invitation?" T'Challa asked.
"We thought that you would be too busy to come back since you have an entire country to run and everything." Tony explained.
"Nice to see that you and Captain Rogers seemed to have worked out your differences Stark. Avengers business involves the world which Wakanda is a part of and I wish to help the people around the world. I will be busy on Wakanda but if the Avengers are needed for a mission, you have your methods of contacting me or just send a message to the Wakandan Embassy." T' Challa said as Steve smiled offering his hand.
T'Challa smiled and shook it as Steve said "good to have you back your highness." Peter was taken aback to realise that he is now a part of a team with a monarch on it.
Electro is a composite Character with Supercharger who is a lesser known Spidey villain retconned to be his first Supervillain. Thought it would work for Kraven to be an ex KGB agent.
