Steeljaw was sleeping and sucking his thumb he was turned into a sparkling by unknown means and the bee team is looking after him. "He sure is cute when he's asleep," Grimlock said.

"I agree with that but we must be quiet and let him sleep. It's important for babies to get lots of sleep," Denny told them.

So they started to watch the TV. It was going on for awhile when Steeljaw woke up he was fussing. He needed to be changed. Bumblebee changed his diaper plate. He had to agree the worst thing about sparklings are the diapers. Steeljaw was kind of embarrassed by this but it was all part of being a sparkling. Now he was pretty wide awake and not tired anymore.

So he started to squirm around. So Bumblebee picked him up and carried him to the area where the others were watching TV. They saw Bumblebee come in with Steeljaw he looked around in wonder about was going on the TV. There were several shows to watch on the TV. Russell was flipping through then put it on a movie called Scooby-doo and the Cyber chase.

"Scooby doo I haven't seen that since I was a kid," Denny said.

Bumblebee sat down with Steeljaw in his lap. Steeljaw had his optics locked on the TV and started to suck his thumb again. Then about ten minutes in Steeljaw was enjoying it then he noticed something. I'm getting kind of hungry. Steeljaw thought and he started make sounds to get their attention. Drift noticed and looked over at Steeljaw who was making sounds and sucking on his fingers.

"Fixit I do believe Steeljaw is getting hungry," Drift stated.

"You probably right it has ho-ho- *whack* hours since he ate." Fixit said and fixed up another bottle. "Who would like to feed him this time I think we should all take shifts with him," he said.

"I'll do it," Strongarm said. "But how?" she asked.

"Watch me," Bumblebee said. He showed her how to feed Steeljaw. Then handed her the feed sparkling.

"Hey this is pretty easy," Strongarm said. Steeljaw finished about two thirds of the bottle before pushing it away.

"Why did he stop?" Jetstorm asked.

"That means he's full," Drift explained.

Then Strongarm ever so carefully patted Steeljaw on the back. Then Steeljaw burped. He felt better now.

The next morning Steeljaw was awake and very curious about somethings. But seemed bored. "He doesn't look to happy Lieutenant," Strongarm said.

"Yes he doesn't seem to happy right now," Side swipe said.

"Is something wrong with him?" Grimlock asked.

"I think he's bored," Russell said. "Babies get bored too," he said.

"Well what should we do?" Grimlock asked.

"How do we deal with a bored infant?" Drift asked.

"I remember there is something that babies love when you do it," Russell said. "Put him down on the ground," he said.

Bumblebee put Steeljaw down. Russell covered his face with his hands. "Uh oh where did Russell go?" Russell said in sing song. Steeljaw froze not knowing what was going to happen next. Russell uncovered his face. "Peek-a-boo!" he said.

Steeljaw giggled and clapped his hands.

"Hey let me try," Grimlock said. "Where did Grimlock go?" he said covering his face with his hands. Steeljaw looked around and then Grimlock uncovered his face. "Peek-a-boo!" he said.

"This seems a bit childish and quite unbecoming," Drift said.

"True but to a baby it's very entertaining," Russell said. Then Steeljaw covered his own face with his hands to copy Russell and Grimlock.

"Ka-boo," Steeljaw said.

"Awe how cute," Grimlock said.

"Yes babies love to copy people," Russell said.

"All team members to the command center." Fixit said. The team gathered. "I am picking up a Decepticon signal close to a nearby town." he said.

"We better take care of it." Bumblebee said.

"Hang on a second all of you someone has to stay here with Steeljaw, because he's too young to look after himself," Denny said.

"Hmm good point," Bumblebee said. "Grimlock since this is near a populated area you stay here with Steeljaw and remember be gentle," he said.

"Got it gentle," Grimlock said. Grimlock looked over at Steeljaw when the rest of the team left.

"Remember what Bumblebee saw be very gentle, because babies are delicate." Denny told Grimlock.

"Got it, be very, very gentle," Grimlock said. Then he carefully picked Steeljaw up. Russell turned on the TV and they flipped through the channels to find something to watch. He found a kiddie show and put it on.

"A little young for me but I think Steeljaw might like it," Russell said.

Steeljaw was liking it. He was very curious about it to say the least. He was soon fussing he needed to be changed. "Okay how do I do this?" Grimlock asked.

"I will walk you through it," Denny said and explained the process and Grimlock followed the instructions and put a clean diaper on Steeljaw.

"There we go," Grimlock asked.

Then the team came in with the con and put him in stasis. "That takes care of that," Bumblebee said.

"Hey guys," Grimlock said coming with Steeljaw.

"Grimlock did a very good job," Russell said.

"That's good," Bumblebee said.

Late that night Steeljaw felt pain in his mouth and started fussing. Not much calmed him and he kept fussing and now trying to bite things. Fixit took a look. "I see what is going on here, the effect from what happen caused Steeljaw to go to that age where he would be teething so right now he's getting a new tooth." Fixit said.

"That really hurts," Denny said. "Imagine a sharp object ripping and cutting it's way through your soft gums," he said.

"Ow, that does sound like it hurts," Side swipe said.

Fixit gave Steeljaw a teething ring. "Here Steeljaw this will help," Fixit told him.

Steeljaw started to bit on the teething ring it felt very good. He was very happy. He never had gotten so much attention and TLC before his parents abandoned him after abusing him at a young age, not to mention the horrible orphanage he lived in feeling unwanted and unloved. Now he was feeling safe and happy.

Meanwhile at the steel mill things were a bit different.

"Where's Steeljaw? I haven't seen him since yesterday it's not like him to disappear," Clampdown said.

"For once I agree with you crab rat, this is very unusual," Thunderhoof said.

"But where can he be?" Fracture asked.

"I haven't seen him since he got caught in the explosion because he didn't come back here with us," Underbite said.

"But what happened to him, you don't think he got blown up do you?" Clampdown asked.

"That might have or might not have happened, I will check the area where we fought the Autobots, crab rat you check the area where those no good Autobots hang out, Underbite the stone quarry, Fracture the forest," Thunderhoof said.

"Hey just because Steeljaw isn't here doesn't give you the right to tell us what to do," Clampdown said.

"In case you forgot I was a boss back on Cybertron are we clear?" Thunderhoof said getting in his face.

"Clear as crystal," Clampdown said.

"Good," Thunderhoof said.

The Decepticons started searching. "Okay where can he be," Clampdown said looking over where the Autobots lived. He saw then with something small it was a sparkling and it looked like Steeljaw. As a matter fact it was Steeljaw, he heard of this before he and he had to tell the others. "This is not good at all," he said. He headed out to find the others.

"Well you crab rat I hope you found him because we found nada," Thunderhoof said.

"Well you see, I saw something Autobot's base, it was sparkling that looked like Steeljaw but I think it was Steeljaw it's a phenomena I heard about before," Clampdown said.

"I heard of it to, and it rarely happens but it does, but I don't know much about it or if the effects are temporary or permeant," Fracture said.

"Same here and it happened to Steeljaw we need get him back and find out if we can fix this problem," Clampdown said.

"Well we better figure out about how to go about this," Underbite said.

"Well I have a plan," Fracture said.

"Good let's hear it," Thunderhoof said.
