It was around 2 years that Violet had been with Howard. Sticking around him, protecting him, she would sometimes be sent to the front lines while he was working on something. She was up to speed with military training, reading, writing and speaking. Though she was still expressionless, her feelings were showing in her eyes.

She had gone to the future fair with Howard, she had just stood off to the side. While he did his show, she wandered around. Finally stopping in front of the Army volunteer booth. She was confused mentally why they would just throw random people into war without knowing how to fight.

She stood there staring at the sign, She was wearing a white button down shirt, a brown skirt and gray stockings. She had maroon shoes on with a one inch heel, her hair was in two braids each put in a bun.

"Are you thinking about joining?" someone asked, she turned and saw a boy with blond hair and blue eyes. He was about her height, though he was skinny and sickly. He showed several weaknesses, though she just stared at him. Confused as to what to say, though again she seemed emotionless. "Or not that's fine too," He said and started to ramble under her intense glaze.

"Violet" was called though the crowd, she quickly ran to the sound, the sound of Howard. Howard had become a sort of father/brother figure to her, though she didn't know it.

"Ok well, goodnight" Steve said and walked into the booth to hopefully get in. He didn't think much of her, other than a little weird.

Violet ran up to Howard and silently followed him around the fair, "Doc said he found someone for Project Rebirth. He was going to send you to join the 107th after a week of recap training" Howard said to her. She had grown on him, he saw her as part of his family.

She nodded, she could hear everything, see everything. Though she looked innocent, she killed hundreds. Howard knew she would never get a normal life, everyone that met and helped her knew that. Dr Erskine had given her only two doses of the super soldier serum, it wasn't a lot but he believed that she would use it right. Even if she didn't know about it. The serum was to make sure that she wouldn't get a disease or sickness, though it made her a little stronger.

The next day she packed her stuff in her brown leather suitcase and waited for Howard to take her to training. As soon as she got to the training grounds, she was told that Peggy was her SO for now before going to the front lines and getting another one.

She walked through the grounds, and walked straight up to Agent Carter and stood behind her. Peggy was just now talking to the new recruits that were lined up. When Steve saw her, he had to take a double take.

The others were looking at her in confusion, and disgust, and a little irritation. "Soldiers this is Violet, she's going to be here for a week before transferring to the 107th in the front lines." Peggy said to the soldiers, Violet just stared straight ahead with an expressionless face.

"The front lines? She's a child and a-" The soldier stopped himself from finishing with the glare Agent Carter sent his way.

"She is more capable of the front lines than any of you" Peggy said to them, Violet looked like a doll. With her white button down shirt and brown skirt, and combat boots. With her expressionless face and still body, she could have easily passed as a doll. "Twenty Pushups" Peggy said after a little while then turned to Violet. "Violet, I want you to go over to group 5 and report back to me" Peggy said.

"Yes, Ma'am" Violet said with a solute and walked over to the group Peggy was talking about. She stayed and watched the group for a little while before leaving to go write her report. By the time she got back the group finished their run and Peggy was getting out of a jeep. Violet didn't even hesitate to walk up to her and hand her the report.

"Thank you Violet, you may go and do your training now" Peggy said to her with a smile, though Violet's expression never changed. With that Violet nodded and ran off into the woods, jumping off of trees, and focusing on her training.

Her training was easy for her but far from easy for anyone else. She would run through the forest, practice firing any and all guns there was, pull ups, and her breathing exercises.

Violet was sitting on her bed reading in the candle light as the others in the tent were asleep. She was reading a poetry book that Peggy had given her. She could hear everyone's slow breathing, she was sure everyone was asleep until she heard him.

"So you're going to be transferred to the 107th?" someone asked, Violet turned to face him. She had reckinsed him, though her face didn't show it.

"Yes" Violet answered to him,

"I'm Steve Rogers, I was wondering if you could give this letter to my friend Bucky. You might know him by Sargent Barnes," Steve said and handed her a letter. She took it and stared at it, then looked up at him. Violet was no doubt beautiful but she was a good few years younger than him.

Violet finally looked back to the letter and put it in her leather suitcase. "I am Violet Stark" Violet said back to him, After reading books she had learned that when one Person introduces themselves they expect the other to do the same.

"Nice to meet you Violet" Steve said with a smile, "Hey how old are you?" Steve asked, wondering how a child could get into the army.

"I was told I'm about 14 years old" Violet said, Steve thought he was talking to a robot with the way she spoke.

"About? You don't know?"Steve asked her,

"I'm an orphan," Was her only answer before turning back to her book and not talking to him. Once he fell asleep, Violet soon followed, giving herself a few hours of sleep.

The next few days were just going through the motions for Violet, She was due to leave after the Project Rebirth.

She stood ready to attack anyone that didn't belong, though she looked like an innocent child. She watched as it happened, as Steve was put into the machine, as he came out taller and stronger. She watched as she was shot, then the Doctor. She watched as Howard rushed towards her to pull the bullet out and help, while Peggy tried to stop the intruder.

Her eyes never closed, and she was still standing. She simply reached with her hand and pulled the bullet out of her. As soon as she did, Howard and other doctors rushed towards her and sewed up the wound.

By the time they were done Steve came back and walked up to her. "Are you ok Violet" Violet looked up at him with her expressionless stare,

"Yes" Was all she answered, it was emotionless just like the rest of her. The pain of the Bullet didn't bother her, other than the hole and the drop of blood you couldn't have told if she was shot. She was put through training to not feel the pain.

Steve looked at her unsure, while Howard and Peggy were looking at everything else that was ruined. The Senator offered Steve a job, he had expected it. While Steve left to go do shows, Violet left to be part of the 107th.

She stood behind Colonel Philips while they waited for her new SO(supervising officer) to come. "You called for me sir?" Bucky asked as he walked into the tent.

"Yes Sergeant Barnes, you will be Violet's SO until I say so" Colonel Philips said to him. He looked confused as he looked between the colonel and Violet. Chester (Colonel Phillips) turned to Violet, "He's your SO" He said pointing to Bucky.

Violet nodded, "Yes sir" she said in her emotionless voice. Bucky shuttered at her voice, it sounded life less. Violet picked up her leather suitcase, holding it in front of her and walked to stand behind Bucky.

"You bring a child to war and expect me to be a babysitter?" Bucky asked,

"That child will save your ass, now go eat before dinner's over" the Colonel ordered him. Bucky muttered a yes sir before leaving, having Violet follow close behind him. He sat down to eat, Violet sat down soon after. He turned to her to ask something, but was cut short.

"Steve Rodgers" was all she said as she had a letter in her hand waiting for him to take it. Bucky narrowed his eyes before taking it and opening it. He was hesitant with Violet, she looked like an innocent little girl. So how can she save them?

"Thank you" Bucky said to her, "Hey how old are you?" Bucky asked.

"I was told I'm around 14, only 4 years younger than you Sargent Barnes" Violet answered. She was slowly growing into a personality, though it had seemed at only Howard and Peggy saw it.

Bucky nodded to her, "You can call me Bucky" Bucky said to her, all she did was nod. Bucky nodded and focused on eating, after dinner was done Violet walked to her own little tent and read for a few hours. She had re-read most of her books, because she only had the poetry book from Peggy, and The Hobbit and a few engineering books from howard.

Bucky watched her for a minute though the flap on her tent before going to his tent. She was strange to him, she was almost like a robot. Her face was expressionless, her voice was emotionless, she looked like any other child off the streets with her innocent face. It just didn't add up for him.

The next morning she was up before anyone else. Bucky assumed that she already ate though he couldn't be sure. Today they were going to the front lines, so like everyone else Violet was dressed in combat boots, loose army pants, and a loose long sleeve top. Her light auburn hair was in a low ponytail that went to her mid thighs.

She had a rifle just like everyone, though she kept two knives in her pockets. Bucky walked over to her after eating breakfast.

"Look Violet, you're a kid. You're not supposed to be here ok, I want you to just stick by my side ok?" Bucky asked her. She nodded to him, though she wasn't planning on not doing anything. As the trucks came and took the soldiers away, Violet was sandwiched in between Bucky and someone called Jones.

Once they got there everyone was put into groups and each group started attacking anyone that was the enemy. Violet attacked as soon as she saw the enemy, killing on sight, most of the time before anyone got the chance.

Bucky starred as he saw her killing the enemy like it was nothing. She didn't care if she had blood on her, she seemed unfazed by killing them. It almost scared Bucky, that an innocent looking little girl could easily kill people.

They stayed put for a few weeks attacking the enemy from where they were. They would move after a few days, trying to find the enemy base to take it down.

As they moved Violet took care of any land mines, making it easier to move around and fool the enemy.

Authors note: should Violet get captured? Yes or no? I'll be updating the latest in two weeks.
