Don Ressler walked with his hood up and his hands in his pocket. His car was parked blocks away and he made sure no one was tailing him. He'd driven 2 hours to get to her in the middle of the night and would have to drive two back by 8am if he was going to get into the office on time. His suit was in his car.

He walked up to the apartment and took out his key and opened the door. She immediately turned and reached for her gun, but dropped it as soon as she saw it was him.

"You knew I was coming," Don said annoyed she had obviously been waiting up for him but then was surprised to find him.

"I fell asleep for a minute and…I got alarmed," Liz said as she rose from her spot on the sofa and walked toward him. "I missed you."

She kissed him slowly and he felt her hands run up his chest.

"Were the messages believable?" Don asked her as they broke apart.

"Yes, the taps they planted would have picked up the desperation in your voice," Liz smiled at him.

"Desperation, huh?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"To help me," she said with a smirk. "Sharing important information because you worry about me."

Don leaned down and kissed her quickly.

"Agnes asleep?"

"Yeah, you'll see her in the morning," Liz said as she pulled at his tie. "It is midnight Ressler, five-year-olds are generally asleep by then, hopefully."

"I've got to be in just after 8 for a briefing, I'll be out of her by 6. She's not up that early," Don said.

"Next time then," Liz said. "How are we on the intel about…?"

"Almost there," Don replied. "I should have all the codes in the next three days. I wanted you to be prepared to move once I had them."

"Cuba?" Liz asked.

"If you think," Don said.

"I went there with Tom, so they'll never think I returned with you," Liz smiled at him as she peeled off his jacket. "Come on, we have a lot to discuss."

She pulled him by the hand into her living room.
