Everyone started talking at once wondering what was happening. Percy, like everyone else, was wondering what happened. He had everything planned out about when he would get there and how much time it would take but he never thought about if there would be any problems.

Him being a demigod there are always problems, but they're usually ones that he could solve like killing monsters unlike the problem at hand. A few seconds later the train conductor came on over the intercom.

"It seems we have run into some technical difficulties and we should be up and running soon." He said

Percy huffed and leaned back into his seat. This was a problem he could not fix and if it couldn't be fixed soon then his plan was ruined.

20 minutes later they were on the move again. No one ever said what the problem was but it didn't matter as long as the train was heading towards its destination. Percy was anxious, but there was nothing he could do but wait.

The train stopped a few times along the way and people got off and on. Eventually someone next to him. This time it was a middle aged woman who seemed about 50 or so. She didn't talk to him but she occinaly glared at him for reasons he did not know why. The woman looked slightly familiar but Percy didn't know where he had seen her from.

He shook off the thought realizing it's probably just some stranger who's got some place to be. "You know," the woman said after a while, "I don't often agree with Aphrodite, but I must say your effort is… a little admiratible. Even if I don't approve of you." she said not looking at him.

Was she talking to him? Yes. Yes she was. Now he remembered where he knew her from. The glare gave it away, his girlfriend had the exact same one. "Athena?"

The goddess rolled her eyes ``Yes, you fish brain." so that's where Annabeth gets it from

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to talk to you of course." She said as if it were obvious

….

30 minutes later after their little "chat" Athena was ready to go. "You understand?" she asked Percy.

He nodded.

"I'll be on my way then. Remember what I said" she gave him one less glare and with that the goddess was gone. Percy took a deep breath. No doubt Athena was one of the scariest gods. Even more so when you're dating one of her children.

"What was she doing here?" A voice say from behind him

He slightly jumps and then calms when he sees Nico. "Oh um…. I don't know." he clearly knew but he didn't want to tell him about their little conversation.

"Uh huh." Nico said not buying it and walked away. Percy sighs and looks out the window beside him. The train was going so fast that you can barely make out everything.

By now it was around 5:30 at night so Percy decided to get some food. He got up (which felt good to stretch his legs since he had been sitting for so long) and went over to grab something to eat. For his "dinner" since Percy wasn't that hungry (which was a first) he got Mac and cheese and some water.

When he was finished eating, the sun was starting to set which was a beautiful sight. He still couldn't wait to see Annabeth; he tried everything to get it off his mind since Percy knew there was still a while to go but he failed. In fact all he could think about was his girlfriend. Even though it had only been a couple of months since they had seen each other it felt like an eternity to him.

He went back to his seat after going to the bathroom and looked at the sun set a little longer before drifting off to sleep. It was a long day and the least he could do was get some rest.

Percy woke up at 3:00 in the morning due to a nightmare. They happen way too often and can never really get a decent good night's rest. Almost everyone one the train was asleep except for the few people on their phones or reading.

He tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't. They were definitely getting closer. The time was about to change again in the next few hours. Half an hour later Percy fell asleep again, telling himself that the trip will go faster if he does.

…..

At 8:00 in the morning Percy woke up. For real this time. It had officially been a day since he had been on the train. A long eventful day. Today he was going to have to switch trains to finish the rest of his trip (a/n idk if trains actually do this like planes but I thought being stuck on the same train for a couple of days and not getting off would be too boring. Ok you may continue!)

Percy decided to stretch his leg and get some breakfast. He got some coffee and a bagel. A very normal breakfast. Thankfully the rest of his sleep was fine and got a solid 5 hours of sleep without any nightmares.

Soon the train would be stopping so he could switch trains. Percy was excited to get some fresh air and walk around on solid ground.

…..

The fresh air was amazing. Except it was only for a few moments while getting off the train. Once inside he decided to go get some coffee because they were supposed to be at the train station for at least 30-45 minutes.

Percy walked over to the nearest coffee shop and got a coffee with a shot of espresso to wake him up. Once he got the coffee Percy decided to walk around and check everything out. There were some gift shops, places to get food, bathrooms, and a bunch of people walking around.

After finishing the coffee Percy was even more hyper than normal. Maybe getting the shot of espresso wasn't such a good idea. Before he went back to get in line to get onto the next train he went to the bathroom like every mom tells their child to do before getting in the car.

The line was long. Even though they didn't leave for another 15 minutes. Percy was glad he came when he did because any later he would be waiting forever. He saw Nico and Will a little ways up. They seemed to be fighting about a ...…backpack?

20 minutes later the line started to move and people started to get on the train. Percy smiled to himself. He was now one step closer to Annabeth.
