[Chuuya Nakahara]

"Dazai Osamu."

He lends his hand to the girl who just came out of nowhere. I glanced at him, frowning as the red took his hand to shake it. I could have gotten those bastards down. She is not even that familiar to me.

"Oh. I'm Ruby Rose. Please to meet you!" She smiled at Dazai, then she turned to look at me.

I flinched so I just looked away. I have so many questions in my mind right now, and I couldn't even ask her that.

"Don't be rude, Chuuya-kun. Introduce yourself," Dazai muttered.

"No, I guess that's okay," Ruby replied.

"Chuuya," I whispered.

"What?"

"Chuuya Nakahara. Let's get going, Dazai."

I started walking away without even looking back. We were out on the streets from 10 in the morning because of some mission. We were tracking an organization and it was new to us, we never even heard of it not even our boss. I don't understand why some people keep on coming here. This is not a safe place where they can all be merry as much as they want to be.

"Wait, please! I have something to ask."

Just as when she spoke, I halted and with a deep breath, I turned to look at her again. Her silver eyes got to me, though she looks so tired which I don't know the reason. Dazai looked at me and he was smiling, then he turned back to look at Ruby again. He really do feels interested when it comes to women.

"What will you ask? It's not about both of us commit-"

I cut Dazai off as I ran to him and smacked his head. He started to complain but I didn't listen to him. Ruby is just there standing and watching us and she keeps herself not to laugh while covering her mouth with her hand. He is such a freak not to mention that I don't like him screwing around.

I crossed my arms on my chest and waited for red to speak again. She is a bit shy, as she keeps on rubbing the back of her head and she won't even look at us in the eye.

"I-uh...Uhm...I actually am a bit lost," Ruby said softly enough for us to hear. "I was about to ask for directions."

"Where are you going anyway?" I asked.

Her eyes widened a bit as she looked at me. She probably didn't expect that I will talk to her and since I am really doing it, I should have asked her more about where she came from and what she is doing here. While she was just cogitating for some answers, I raised my eyebrow and staggeringly gazed at Dazai as he held Ruby by both of her hands.

He was smiling innocently at her and Ruby just looked at him flustered. I walked towards them and grabbed Dazai by his shoulder which made him pulling red's hands.

"What do you think you're doing, dumbass!" I scolded.

"I will be happy to help you, Ms. Rose. After this I have a favor to ask you," Dazai said, a calmness in his voice.

Ruby's face turned pink. She just glanced at him without even knowing what to do, and the way I'm refraining Dazai from touching the stranger, it feels like I'm just being disregarded, and he is firmly focused on the girl in a red hood.

"Don't listen to him, red," I sternly warned her.

"I, uh..." Ruby whimpered, her cheeks flushed pink.

"Stop being so rude, hat rack," Dazai mumbled.

"You're harassing her, maniac!"

Dazai just chuckled and his eyes nailed to Ruby's silver ones. I just stood there irritatingly, my arms remained crossed. I am really going to hang this bastard after this!

"Will you have the honor to accompany me to death?"

"What?!" Ruby exclaimed astonishingly.

I was about to beat him up, but red stopped me and she even laughed at us nervously. She only took it as a joke, and to me, it was rather insane. I stared darkly at Dazai and to think of his foolishness. He would still act like a kid, and a happy-go-lucky suicidal maniac like he always was.

We went with Ruby to help her get to her friends. She told us they are four in the team, and that she is their team leader. She has a sister and she told us she was left alone to look for a place to stay for them. Every time she tells a story, it is either that will make Dazai laugh or let him ask questions. I just kept on listening to red, and to be honest she made weariness fade for the day. I still can't get over how did Dazai get attached to her so easily. I suddenly feel like, they have a lot in common. They are also pretty much alike. I have been surrounded by craziness.

"Yang almost forgot her arm when we were about to leave!" Ruby laughed while we keep on walking through the streets. "She was the last one who took a bath and then all of our things are all packed then. I really thought that we were late. When we got to the train station, she realized something odd, and she was like 'How come I never get to hold two bags?' and Weiss said to her 'Where's your other arm?' and she was shocked. You should see her face!"

Dazai laughed with her and I couldn't help but overhear all her anecdotes that she kept sharing with us. She even told us that she was so excited to come here, and now she got lost because she wasn't exploring the place yet. She just came here like several minutes have passed, which was unexpected. We got to the heart of the city, and people are almost occupying the whole area of the only one road. Ruby remained walking behind us and as we got further from some people, I started hearing some grumbling. It kept on going and Dazai heard it too. We both glanced at each other confused, Dazai shrugged at me and my lips glowered at him.

We looked at Ruby who is behind us. She timidly looked down as she rubbed her stomach. She noticed that she got our attention and so she smiled tightly at us and chuckled nervously. Little red sighed, and I also noticed dark circles from her eyes, just like what I saw of her earlier.

We brought her to a small restaurant then served her a table. She was the one who ordered the food, and we just sat with her and waited for her to have her meal done. Ruby looked very hungry and tired, alright. Though staring would be absolutely rude, and I never have done it especially to a woman.

"You two don't want to eat?" Ruby spoke, though her mouth is still full.

She ordered two bowls of ramen, a plate of two dried fish and a hot tea. She had gobbled them all up like some poor kid who hasn't had a meal since yesterday.

"It's alright, red. We really don't have to eat that much," Dazai kindly replied to her.

"He doesn't eat," I added.

"Of course, I do. You don't have to be so hateful of me and ruin my image."

I glared irritatingly at Dazai and he leaned against the chair, keeping himself cool and relaxed like I wasn't even here to strangle him to death.

"Well what about you, Chuuya? Haven't you been eating?" Ruby asked.

I looked at her while she grazed over her food then slurped the ramen soup from the bowl. I looked away glowering, not that I also want to eat and I can't just stare at her every minute. What is happening? I don't even know her that much. I want to get this over with. I have a lot of things to do. Boss must have been looking for me.

"He's a drunken bastard," Dazai stated.

I balled my hand into a fist and slammed it on the table. Ruby got startled while Dazai just kept his eyes closed, his back leaning against the wooden chair.

"You guys don't have to fight always. You're like kids," Ruby mentioned.

"Says the kid who lost her way," I taunted.

"I lost my way because I don't know much about this place. And I am not a kid, sir. I'm already 21 and a huntress."

She looked like a teenager to me though. I saw how she attacked those bandits earlier. She even had a scythe with her that alters into a rifle gun and I don't know where she got that kind of weapon. She is something that I can't yet tell.

"A huntress? Do you have a mission here, Ms. Rose?" Dazai interfered.

"Nope. We just want to move here to have a new start. If there is ever a mission well, then we're happy to help. Or I can even help you two if that's necessary," Ruby replied.

Ruby was finished having her meal and she is utterly satisfied, and a wide smile plastered on her face. We kept going street by street and to make sure Ruby knows where she will go from now on. I got the feeling that Dazai and I just became tourist guides just for her.

Red is looking everywhere. I observed her taking something inside of her backpack and a cellular phone was revealed. She kept looking for her friends, and still, there is no sign of them despite having people on the streets. Ruby is now walking in front of us like she is the one who is leading. I breathed exasperatedly, Dazai noticed me and just gave me a smile.

[Third Person]

"Ruby!"

Ruby heard a voice from above a five-storey compartment. She looked up and saw her sister waving happily at her. She sighed heavily and bent over a bit as she groped both of her knees. It has been a long way and she even felt embarrassed that the two men, who she doesn't even know, were the 'Double Black', and they just helped her with directions. How can Ruby ever thank them for helping her throughout the well-known city of Yokohama?

"Well, that up there is my older sister Yang," Ruby stated as the two looked up at the apartment.

"I guess you don't need us to escort you anymore," Chuuya replied.

"Yeah, but it doesn't mean I will forget you two. I can see you again, can't I?"

"Of course. We live here. You can see us everywhere," Dazai added.

Chuuya punched Dazai by his arm. The brunette just rubbed his arm and chuckled, his eyes are still focused on the red riding hood in front of him and Chuuya.

Ruby gave them an innocent and sweet smile. She never even got the chance to ask what happened why there were bandits that were after them. It is a memorable start for her, though not that very splendid on the other hand, as she reckons the weariness she suddenly perceives.

Footsteps were coming for Ruby. She turned to her back, saw Weiss and Blake stood before her. Weiss was quite catching her breath, and Blake looked at the apartment and Yang from the third floor.

"So this is it," Blake eyed the apartment beside her.

"Our new home," Ruby mumbled to herself. "Where are we exactly?"

"We're in Kanagawa," Yang replied as she went out of the apartment. "Yokohama is a large city and Kanagawa is the most famous, though we're specifically in Naka Ward where also there are residences here and yay, apartments."

"Weiss and I came across two teens and we had the chance to ask them directions. The one is a girl who wears a red kimono, and the other a blonde boy who looks like a village boy," Blake explained.

"They're nice, they even welcomed us here," Weiss added and smiled by the thought of it.

The five-storey apartment was found by Yang at Naka Ward just in the city. It is not that an enormous apartment, when Yang had contact with the landlord, she told him that it is the only place that she and her friends can afford. They are much closer to Kanagawa, and there are many people to get to know. This is the home that Ruby never expects to happen in her life as a Huntress. She could live as normal people in the city, or like those two men who she just met. And she almost forgot them when Weiss and Blake arrived. When she turned to where they were, she saw them walking away and all that she can give them is a grateful, warm smile and a sign of kindly appreciating even though they never saw it any longer.

Ruby infers great admiration just by a glimpse of the encounter, and that she is truly happy to meet them.
