Shizuka wandered down the halls, "Man Jody really was right, these hallways are really like a maze when you don't know where you're going." After seemingly passing the same room multiple times she finally made it to the science lab. Shizuka leaned against the wall waiting for Jody to arrive. 1 minute, 5 minutes, then 10 minutes.
"Where is he, I thought he told me 4:30 and to be outside of the northern science lab."
She popped out a piece of gum and her phone, texting the Speedwagon Foundation. Informing them of what had happened so far and that she would be meeting up and judging the character of the black male who had a Hermit Purple picture dedicated to him. She couldn't help but make the connection to how Koichi supposedly met Giorno Giovanna to herself. She continued typing until she was interrupted.
"Hi! I heard you were new here and I just wanted to give you a tour of our wonderful school!"
An enthusiastic voice echoed down the halls, then appearing directly behind Shizuka. This girl had blonde hair and sparkling ocean blue eyes. Beautiful makeup decorating her face and sparkling nails. A purse at her side and short high heels. Her face seemed perfect like she had been shaping it for hours, noticing every meticulous detail. Her hair in two pigtails, symmetrical to each other. Shizuka was caught off guard at the sudden interaction by this girl. Who was smiling wide with a hint of what seemed like golden lipstick.
"Oh um, someone already offered to give me a tour, I'm just waiting for him here."
The girl's smile wavered slightly, "I think I can give a little bit better of tour honey! I can introduce you to some of my friends, we can see if there are any sports you like. Personally, I play tennis. OH! We can also visit the Starbucks nearby, they make the best iced coffee!" Shizuka just shook her head. The girl seemed frustrated that her tactics weren't working. "But it seems as though the boy you're waiting for isn't here yet. I'll just show you the important parts!" This girl yanked Shizuka's arm and dragged her down the long hallway and around a corner. While being dragged, Shizuka noticed the same stand she saw earlier, lurking down a different hallway. She couldn't make it out, but she swore it looked like a parent queen gone wild. Some splotches of color splashed on its huge dress and bees hovering around its huge crown. Shizuka planted her feet and whipped around, seeing an empty hallway.
"Is everything ok honey? You stopped so suddenly I almost ripped your arm off!"
"Yeah, yeah I just think I should get back to the science lab, Jody should be pretty close now. I think he'll only be a few more minutes."
The girl's perfect face wavered again, her fine eyebrows slightly twitching. She let go of Shizuka's arm. "Oh Jody is giving you a tour", she seemingly debated on her next line, "He's not the brightest of bulbs and lies through his teeth. He seems friendly, but everyone knows he can't be trusted. Sometimes he gets into fights and I've heard that his father is a murderer. Wouldn't go near him If I were you honey. But I can't stop you if you really wanna be with him", she smirked slightly, "sounds like you really like him."
Before Shizuka could say anything the girl promptly skipped down the hall and she felt her cheeks turn red. Covering her face she walked down the hall and tried to recall her way back to the science lab. "Which way was it? How many rights did we make?" After a few minutes of working her way through the halls, she felt a small sting. A bug had suddenly stung her on the neck. She swatted it away and slightly scratched at her neck. Shizuka continued looking for the science lab. As she walked, she again felt another sting, this time on her left arm.
"What is up with these bugs? I hope I don't have some sort of allergic reaction to these!"
As she continued walking she started stumbling, feeling drunk on dopamine. Her senses were overloaded, her hands feeling softer than the blankets at her hotel and a rosy pink layer coating her eyesight, with the fresh smell of dandelions and summer was constant in her nose. "What's happening to me?", she exclaimed, "Hailey must've been right, did Jody do something to my orange juice during lunch?" She was limping down the halls, which seemed like they stretched forever. It reminded her of the nightmare she had of the endless cloudy landscape. The few minutes that passed felt like hours, as Shizuka was violently sweating bullets.
"Man Eater doesn't usually take this long, then again men are much easier to make my dolls, less fun watching them suffer."
Shizuka slowly looked behind her, seeing the same girl. This time she was much more posh and arrogant. She had a sadistic smile on her face like she was enjoying Shizuka in this state. Her eyes shined with the memories of others before Shizuka.
"You are so cute when you're suffering, I'm gonna have to keep you around! You must be trying really hard to resist my Man Eater, I saw you in math earlier today. I wasn't going to sting you until I saw you looking at my stand behind the teacher. You have one too?"
Shizuka's mind was racing, any enemy had already figured her out? So far this girl didn't seem to know she was undercover, or that Jody had seen the stand too. "Based on its name I'm going to assume it mainly works on men right?" Shizuka said confidently, but she was breaking up inside.
"Whatever you stuuung me with isn't working", Shizuka stated with a drag in her voice. "Achtung Baby, make me invisible", she whispered as she fell backward and disappeared from the girl's line of sight. She stumbled down the hall looking for Jody.
"If he had a picture solely to himself his stand has got to be powerful. Maybe her can produce fire or punch harder than Crazy Diamond!" Shizuka was getting desperate as she continued thinking.
The poison from the sting in her system was slowly taking its course, her invisibility wavering. She was blinking in and out of sight as she dragged herself along the school's wall. She stopped herself, this was exactly what the mysterious girl had wanted. She didn't even know if she could trust Jody, let alone blow her cover. Slowly standing up and looked backward, seeing the girl slowly and confidently strut. Shizuka breathed, slowly revealing the full presence of her stand. Achtung Baby was a light cyan with pink polka dots around its body, emerging from the outward tights it was wearing. It had brighter blue eyes than Shizuka herself and yellow-coated fists. To top it all off it had a bright red star on its back.
"Oh, so I was right, well if I'm going to be your ruler you should at least know my name. It's Hailey Oats and this is my Man Eater."
Hailey revealed her humanoid stand. It had hexagonal patterns across its entire body, with the lines being black, on a smooth yellow metallic surface. It's two stingers where its hands should've been. Its eyes were obstructed by a large crown that had 3 gems, covering its beehive hairdo. Its lips were fine and lush, with skinny legs under a honeycomb wedding dress. It had mid-sized wings that fluttered incredibly fast, creating a slight draft that caused Hailey's hair to flow slightly.
Though Shizuka was still standing, she felt even worse. She was going numb and couldn't see out of her right eye. "The poison should be almost done, let's see what you can do." Hailey had completely dropped her posh facade, her eyes read that she was enjoying this sadistic stand. Then Shizuka felt it, her arm was moving on its own, like a string being held by a puppet master.
"So this is your ability, you can control people as long as you sting them. I'm going to assume that it works a lot better on men?"
"Congratulations, you figured out the obvious Man Eater stings people and allows me to control them, it works nearly instantly on men. I've never used it on a girl before, mainly because the ones I want to control are too submissive." She said, underestimating Shizuka, feeling that she had already won.
Some boys came walking out of a nearby classroom and saw the girls standing off. "Perfect," Hailey whispered and had Man Eater sting each of them. They immediately went limp and stared blankly at Hailey, a shine of love in their eyes. The boys then flung themselves at Shizuka. Achtung baby clocked the first boy in the stomach and then in the nose. The second and third jumped onto Shizuka. Slamming their fists into her new uniform and pale face.
Achtung Baby chopped one in the back of the neck and then slammed its knee into his forehead. Shizuka then pushed off the other one and kicked him the lips herself. The final drone had broken a glass soda bottle in his bag and threw it at her. She narrowly dodged the shards, one slicing her on her right cheek. Achtung Baby threw a single cross and knocked the last boy out.
"Wow, you defeated four teenage boys, I'm shaking in my boots."
Shizuka smiled and Achtung Baby swiftly punched the ground, shattering the ground and sending rubble everywhere. Achtung Baby then punched each of the rocks, before they touched the ground. Each rock that was hit flew forward and turned invisible. Hailey suddenly realized what Shizuka had done as these stealthy missiles rocketed towards her. Man Eater darted in front of its master, taking the blows all over its body. Hailey and Man Eater were both riddled with huge bullet wounds.
"You, how dare you!"
Shizuka felt the overwhelming sense of love and calm overwhelm her, becoming harder to resist the urge to give up. Man Eater aimed and shot multiple shots out of its stinger arms. Some bee-like darts flew out of them, homing on Shizuka. "Achtung Baby Invisibility!" Shizuka disappeared from Hailey's view, "Don't hide from me! Man Eater's poison it's working its way through your system, you won't be able to keep this up much longer!" Again, Shizuka was wavering in and out of her line of sight.
"There you are!"
Two darts flew through the air and struck Shizuka in the leg. She yelped out in pain and tumbled down the hall. She felt even hazier as she blanked. Shizuka couldn't feel her body, though it did sting. The sting wasn't just pain, as it continued she felt herself slowly enjoying it like Hailey was relieving her of everything. Her body moved, standing her up and walking towards Hailey.
"Finally! You are gonna be worth the wait, I can't wait to play with you, total control over someone, it just makes me so excited! We are going to have so much fun, you can see the rest of my beautiful collection!"
Man Eater raised its arm as it began whirring, similar to that of a machine gun. The mask it was wearing opened up and Shizuka stared into its cold cruel eyes. Shizuka felt at peace, her control slipping from her grasp and melting away, this would be the happiest she'd ever been.
"Oh hey there Shizuka! I thought I told you to wait outside the science lab." Jody jogged over to Shizuka and passed Hailey and Man Eater. Hailey eyed Jody and Man Eater raised its other cannon, getting ready to shoot a dart. "Oh hey Hailey, are you and Shizuka busy. Because I was wondering if I could steal her for an hour or two?"
Jody didn't seem to notice Man Eater, but he could have very much been ignoring could swear she saw a bead of sweat on his forehead. "Stop playing dumb Jody, I know you saw Man Eater earlier in math, leave now and I won't make you a doll for me to play with, like your friend."
Jody's entire demeanor shifted, his kind-hearted smile disappeared. He seemed much more menacing. "You won't mind if I did this then." He reared back his arm and punched her square in the nose. Shizuka swore she heard a crack. Hailey shrieked and recoiled backward. Man Eater stopped focusing on Shizuka and shot multiple darts towards Jody. He started running and threw something out of his hand. In the blur of it, Shizuka didn't see clearly what it was, but she could make out thick bug-like shapes. When the bugs collided with the darts they poofed into pink smoke that flew towards Hailey.
"Eww, what is this!?"
The magenta smoke flew towards her and made its way into her ears. Hailey recalled Man Eater and jammed her ears shut, attempting to stop more from entering through her pierced ears. After a second Hailey's eyes dilated and she stood limp. Shizuka felt Man Eater's control loosening and she could move her legs a little. She backed up a little and then she felt the loving embrace recoil and wither.
"What are you doing Jody?" Shizuka said as she realized that at least 10 bugs worth of smoke were inside of her lungs.
"She's experiencing an illusion in a fake landscape." He said calmly, as though he had done it many times before, like riding a bike.
Inside Hailey's mind, she was in a pitch-black world, only seeing Jody in front of her. She couldn't smell or hear anything and the darkness felt cold and slimy around her. "What are you doing, this stand of yours is pretty weak. I'll just summon Man Eater and control you." Hailey manifested her stand and saw nothing. In the real world, Shizuka saw Man Eater manifest and she readied for combat, Achtung Baby at her side.
"Don't worry, I should have complete control over what she sees, as far as she knows her stand isn't there. Get out of the range of its darts and you should be good." Shizuka wasn't sure how to feel, she realized how much mental power it must've been to filter everything Hailey was experiencing.
In Hailey's mind, she was freaking out, realizing that she couldn't move anything. This control wasn't like her own, she didn't feel warm or loved. This control felt mysterious and cold like it wasn't designed to control but to lie.
"Hailey Oats, I sentence you to a punch barrage and a trip to the nurse's office!" Jody said confidently and proud.
"What are you talking about? Your sucky stand can't do any physical damage!" She said with a squeaky and cracked voice, attempting to sound confident.
"You're right, but if I can make you think you felt one thousand punches, that should be enough. Don't you remember what happened to your friend Camila."
Hailey gasped as a muscular figure made of bright white light appeared directly in front of Jody. It burst into thousands of butterflies that swarmed around her. Each one ramming into Hailey and dissipating, feeling as though someone was punching as hard as they could. It was a beautiful collage of light and darkness, perfectly blending together to create something that rivaled the pearly night sky. The illusion faded away when all the butterflies were gone. "Sweet Dreams" he muttered. Shizuka saw Hailey fall backward with a slight nosebleed. "So how about that tour?"
Shizuka watched Man Eater disappear and she looked at Jody in horror, he hadn't even taken his hands out of his pockets to deal this much seemingly mental damage to Hailey. The scene looked like what Shizuka imagined Jotaro looked like to non-stand users. Achtung Baby readied a single punch. "Who are you?" She pivoted and faced him, her stand still ready to attack.
"Oh I never fully introduced myself, I'm Jody Pucci. At your service."

Achtung Baby can turn whatever it touches invisible, the item cannot be seen by any visual sensors, with more concentration she can make the target immune to heat sensors too. The invisible objects can still be heard, smelt, tasted, or felt. When in high-stress situations Shizuka will become invisible and partly make her surroundings invisible too, within a certain radius that expands the more adrenaline in her system.

Man Eater can shoot darts that inject the shot with poison, it works instantaneously on men, but not so well on women. The poison comforts the target and wraps them in a warm blanket of love. When the poison takes its course it allows the user to fully control the afflicted, until released. This includes making them think different things and be infatuated with Hailey.

I've had a lot of fun writing this and would love to see it prosper and grow! The next chapter is going to be more character interactions than battles and resolving this chapter's cliffhanger!
