Author's Note: This is my first story and I just want to post some Wile x Fem Roadrunner XD. They are the property of Warner Brothers. Give respect to the creators Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese. Again, the Roadrunner is female.
After that embarrassing failure, Wiley decided to think of a new plan to catch Roadrunner and take the video about this recent failure from the hidden cameras for learning his mistakes. Yep! Definitely watching it later for learning. After escaping from the super glue trap, Wiley noticed that the day is getting dark and the temperature is dropping.
He needs to find a shelter, but he still did not memorize the environment. Wiley continues to find a place for the night while trying to stop thinking about Roadrunner. Her blue eyes and her cute smile-Wiley slapped himself for that. He is still not sure about his feelings for Roadrunner.
Despite how much he believes that he hates her, Wiley finds out about his feelings for her. He did not know when and where these feelings came from, but it is disturbing. Though why does he felt doubt when saying that. Wiley immediately started shaking as the cold winds are getting stronger and nighttime continues to approach. Despite surviving from falls, explosions, and other kinds of physical trauma, he is still not immortal.
Wiley frantically searches for any shelter that will save him from the cold. After a few minutes of searching, he finally found a cave. Finally! 'I should try to find some dry woods and make a fire.' Wiley thought as he immediately rushes to the cave. He went inside, and the joy on his face was replaced by surprise. Wiley saw Roadrunner, who is always staring at him with a surprised look on her face. The two ended up having an awkward staring contest.
After expressing her feelings to Wiley, Roadrunner decided to call it a day and find some shelter. Thanks to her speed, she found this nice cave that will shelter her from the cold. Unfortunately, she cannot help but shake when she feels the cold winds outside of the cave. 'I hope Wiley has successfully escaped from his trap.' the Roadrunner thought worriedly.
If you ask her what Wiley has that amazes her, she will answer his endurance. Again and again, Roadrunner was amazed at his ability to take so much damage. Unlike her, his body has an unnatural regeneration and pain tolerance. Whether he suffers from explosions, vehicles, or long falls, expect Wiley to try to catch her the next day with no signs of pain. However, Wiley is still a mortal like her. Roadrunner knew that there are times that he is suffering from hunger or has pushed his pain tolerance to the limits.
It hurts. It hurts Roadrunner to see Wiley so vulnerable in those moments. That is why sometimes she secretly helps Wiley by giving him rodents or crickets when he truly needed food.
Roadrunner started noticing something moving towards her location. Before she could check who's running towards her, she saw Wiley entering the cave with a relief expression on his face.
Wiley and Roadrunner have now entered an awkward staring contest until both of them look away with blushes on their cheeks. Remembering what happened earlier, Wiley stares at her again, and Roadrunner cannot help but feel a little nervous. He is still her predator, but he is not like the other predators. Wiley was kind enough to let Roadrunner rest at night. He never attempts to catch her while she sleeps. Moreover, there are days when Wiley is not interested in chasing her and watch her run by while relaxing.
Although Wiley should take advantage of this situation and catch her, he currently has no motivation for today. Either he is tired, or maybe it is his feelings for her. So he pulls out a sign that says, "Truce?" and Roadrunner replied with her own sign, "Truce."
Wiley looks at her and stares at the trees behind him. Roadrunner, after being years with him, understands his message 'Looking for firewood.' She simply nodded her head with a smile, and Wiley runs out of the cave to grab firewood. After a few minutes, he returns with the firewood and starts making a campfire.
Roadrunner stares at him confusingly, and Wiley smirks at her with a sign, "I'm gonna make a fire with Science!" She is starting to get worried she loves Wiley, but he has F-level luck when using machines. Wiley pulls out a simple ACME lighter and simply uses it to create a fire. He can't help but snickers at her dumbfounded face. Although the fire gives them warmth, it is not enough to defend them from the cold.
The two, desperate for warmth, look at each other. Roadrunner stares into Wiley's eyes, and his eyes widen as soon as he understood her message. "Let's share body heat," Roadrunner doesn't want to do this either, but they don't have any way to fight against the cold.
Wiley decided to give in and wrap his arms around Roadrunner's body, while she snuggles up to him. Both are very flustered at this moment, and Roadrunner can't help but silently admit that she is enjoying this.
Wiley can feel his heart beating like he ran a marathon and the smoke slightly coming out of his ears. He never had this kind of contact with somebody in his entire life. Feeling the smoothness of her feathers, never did Wiley believe that he would touch Roadrunner like this. However, snuggling to the one who he has a crush on. Wiley silently thought, 'I guess, this is nice.'
The two decided to fall asleep. Hoping that this will end on the outside but thinking the opposite in their hearts. Roadrunner wakes up and notices two things. It is morning, and Wiley has his arms around her in a spooning sleep position. A red hue has spread across her cheek, and after a few minutes of silent enjoyment, she carefully got out of his arms.
Roadrunner stares at the coyote then gives a small kiss on his cheek. Seeing Wiley smile at the kiss, she runs out of the cave with her heart beating and a big smile on her face. As she continues to run, she lets out a happy "MEEP-MEEP!"
