When Ava got to her hotel she sighed as she threw her bag down on the bed. Things didn't go like she expected. She had no idea what to think about that Happy dude that was hitting on her. She was in Charming for a job, and to reunite with her mom's brother, and her half brother since the rest of her family was in ruins. She wasn't there to hook up with some biker.

She was broken out of her thoughts by a knock at the door. Looking through the peephole she saw that it was her mom's brother. Opening the door she smiled. "And how did you find me?" she asked seeing the old Caddy in the lot that her uncle was driving.

"Small town and not many hotels honey. How are you doing?" Piney asked his niece.

"I'm just sad and trying so hard to get over shit, but it's hard. Some mother fucker broke into my stepdad's and mom's shop and killed her. My younger brother went after our mother's killer and shot a cop and now he's in jail. I had planned on coming here for a job before the shit hit the fan." said Ava crying a bit.

"I'm sorry shit went down on my sister's side and my asshole brother in law shut you out, and my nephew decided to darkside on us, and well my other nephew is in prison. Listen I'm here and so is Mary, my son Opie, his wife Donna, and their kids. Plus Jax will be there for you. I know him because he is his father's son. Your father was my best friend." said Piney.

"How can I stop my rage Uncle Piney? I wanted to be the one who went after that mother fucker and shot him in the fucken head. He ruined my mother's family, and took my mother from my little brother, older brother, and stepfather. Also I found some papers. My father left the garage to me and Jax." said Ava giving her mom's brother the papers since she trusted him completly.

"Listen don't make your family's mistakes. Your little brother messed up and is in jail. Your mom got into a fight with her husband and came here. Marisol told me what all went down. Long story short he was an undercover cop trying to take down a drug cartel and he ended up having an affair with the cartel leader's wife. Then he broke it off, wanted out and then changed his name." said Piney.

"Shit. Yea that would cause a major blowout. So I guessed her husband begger her to come back and she did, and then she found out she was knocked up with me. I guess it was payback because he had an affair. Though they weren't together then." said Ava.

"Like I said don't make your parent's mistakes. I think coming here and starting over is for the best." said Piney. "On another note I don't want you staying in a hotel. Your cousin already talked it over with his wife and she said it's okay. Please I don't want you in a hotel when you have family to stay with. he added.

"Until I get my own place I'll stay with your son and his wife and kids. Shit I never knew mom's problems. I love you Uncle Piney." she said.

"Love you too. Come on I'll show you how to get there. Get your stuff." said Piney. Ava smiled at him and got her stuff together. Though for the love of her she couldn't get that guy, Happy, out of her mind. He was scary as fuck, but he turned her on at the same time.

Twenty minutes later Ava pulled her 2007 Nissan Armada into Opie and Donna's driveway on the other side of her Uncle Piney's old caddy. It was a quaint little house, but it looked like it was a family home. She also noticed that in the back yard it looked like they were in the process of putting in a backyard pool.

The door opened and Opie came out with Donna on his arm. She looked more like a housewife than a biker's Ol Lady, but she was pretty and she had such an ora that she was a kind preson. Smiling at the couple Ava began.

"Hey guys. Thanks for letting me stay here until I get my own place. Anything I can do to help out with the bills while I'm staying I will. I'm Ava. Piney's niece. His half sister is my mother." she added.

"No sweetheart you are family. Come on in. We have been doing some work around the house. Kenny and Ellie have been begging for us to put in a pool so that's what we are doing now that we caught up on our debts. Come on I'll show you to the second master bedroom." said Donna. One of the remodling projects was making a second master for guests. Yes it was a small to medium four bedroom 3 bath home, Donna had watched alot of shows about remodling.

"Okay these are the kids rooms. They have their own bathroom. A jack and jill. That helps with the space. And here is our bedroom." said Donna pointing out their room which had a king sized bed and and ensuit bathroom.

"Nice Donna." said Ava as she followed Donna to the master guest room.

It was like her and Opie's and it had a king sized bed and an ensuit bathroom. "And this is yours for as long as you need it. You are family and we take care of family." said Donna.

"This is so nice and thank you." said Ava.

"You go get yoru stuff and get settled in and I'll fix dinner. It will be special for the kids since their daddy's cousin and grandfather will be there for it. Mary and Piney are a little weird so just bar with the weirdness." said Donna.

"Hey i get it. How about I unload my car and then give you a hand. Opie you have a sweetheart of a wife. Don't fuck it up." Ava paused seeing the kids. "Sorry I mean mess it up." Everyone laughed and Piney was glad that he was with his entire family. Mary was so hot and cold, but he had his son, daughter in law, grandkids, and niece.

Happy Lowman sat at the bar decompressing. He thought his last job as a Nomad would koll him. Packer, Samdino's President, called him to take care of the issue. Since he was a hitman for the club and loyal he did what another Sons of Anarchy club needed no questions asked. This time he was asked to kill some random couple. He didn't get it at all. Sons didn't kill women or innocents unless they were rats.

Packer insisted and said the money was good so Happy did it. Though he fucked up. he was supposed to kill both of them, and only killed the wife. Then someone comes after him and nearly kills him. The guy got sloppy though. He killed and cop and froze. What if the cartel hired a cleanup man who was as green as he could be.

Happy decided that he wanted to patch into Redwood. Yet another reason other than Jax's sister.
