Marinnete's POV
It was Chat Noir's turn to go on patrol, but there has been a rise in akumas, but not only that, there have been happening a lot of attacks and catastrophes with unknown sources, so I had to go with him.
We were sitting on the edge of a rooftop, I was rolling my eyes and occasionally laughing at Chat's flirty jokes, when I saw something odd.
"Did you see that? It was the shadow of a person." I say, pointing to the rooftop in front of us.
He turned just in time to see the silhouette of a women. jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
"Yes" he said, determination in his eyes as he got an idea. "should we follow?"
I considered it before nodding, and off we go.
Veronica's POV
Today was patrol day. Yay!
As I finish changing into my suit, I hear the door unlock and I turn to see my mom smiling at me.
"I love your suit, it's so... you."
She then walks up to me, and hugs me.
"Be careful, do not engage in any real danger unless it's absolutely necessary, okay?"
"Okay" I say with a slightly irritated, although mostly amused tone.
I know she just wants me to be safe.
We walk downstairs, and I say goodbye to my dad (technically my step-dad, but he is more of a dad than Poseidon will ever be) with a hug and his usual warnings about my safety.
"I love you both." I tell them as I head towards the back door.
I start to patrol the city from rooftop to rooftop.
Paris is as beautiful as I thought, maybe even a little more.
Everything is great until I realise that 2 teenagers in a ladybug and a black cat leather suits are following me.
Time to escape from the heroes of Paris.
This is not how I thought my first patrol would go.
