Hanta Sero:
Mina, Sero, and Bakugou had just finished helping retrieve civilians from a collapsing building. Bakugou and Mina mainly handled cleaning debris while Sero got the trapped civilians to safety. The tape hero had to climb and repel all over the wreckage in order to find people. This left the hero with scraps and cuts from the debris, and even though he was tired and sore the smile on his face never fell. This same smile let two small children know everything was going to be ok when they were found in a small room that looked like it had been turned upside down. Once everyone was cleared from the danger zone Mina and Sero talked not too far from where a group of bystanders had gathered.
"Look there are the heroes from UA!" A young woman in a yellow dress exclaimed to her friends.
"They look so cool!" This came from a short red head.
"Well… all but that tape guy. He looks so…plain." This came from a guy with mohawk made out of orange feather.
"True. He doesn't really stand out like the others." Agreed a guy with long blue hair.
"I mean his quirk is kinda… silly. I mean it's just tape." Added the red head.
"You're right. He really doesn't seem like a hero… and his smile is kind of creepy. Who'd feel safe with a guy like that?" The yellow dress woman added.
Unknown to the small group of young the heroes in could hear every word. Mina was not happy with what she heard them say about one of her best friends. She was just about to give them a piece of her mind, when Sero stopped her.
He shook his head at his obviously upset friend. "Leave it."
"But…" Even though his signature smile was on his face Mina could see the pain in his eyes. She knew her friend was hurt by what he heard.
"I'm fine." Sero smiled and shrugged. "It's not the first time I've heard people talk like that… won't be the last." It was true. Many people didn't believe Sero when he told them he was going to be a hero. Always said he didn't seem the type and that his quirk wasn't flashy enough. He was always the know people forgot about, everyone but the squad. They saw him, saw his value as a hero and that's all that mattered to him. Still, it hurt to hear people he risks his life to protect think so little of him.
"Sero…" Mina felt a tightness in her chest hearing that one of her closest friends had to deal with something like that. "You're not..." An explosion interrupted whatever she was going to say. The two of heroes turned to find their more explosive friend had also heard what the bystanders were saying.
"What the fuck does his face got to with being a hero?! Tape face just fucking saved all the people in this damn building! What the hell did you do!?" Everyone stared at Ground Zero with a mix of stock and fear. While the blonde was known for his temper, his friends hadn't seen him this mad in a long time.
"Um…" Came from one of the young men who called the tape hero plain.
"And have you looked at your ugly ass faces in the mirror recently?! Sero looks a hell of a lot better than your fugly asses." The girls in the group looked like they were on the brink of tears, but all Mina and Sero could focus on was that Bakugou called him by name.
"Am I dreaming? Or did he just say my name?" the young tape hero asked his pink friend, who in response pinched him. "Ow!"
"Nope. This is real." She muttered as she watched Bakugou continue to scream at the group. Seconds ago, the two young heroes were filled with pain and sadness but all that was washed away as the watched their hot-headed friend defend the dark hair boy of the bakusquad.
"So, learn to shut your fucking mouths before I blow them off your fugly faces!" Bakugou emphasized his point by holding up one of his hand right in front of them and setting off a small explosion. This caused them to run. "Tch. Pussies." Once the group were no longer in sight Mina tackle the blonde in a hug as Sero threw his arm over his should in a one-armed bro hug. "What the fuck do you think you are doing?!"
"You were so cool defending Sero like that!" Mina squealed.
"What the fuck are you talking about!?" Bakugou's started to turn a light shade of pink.
"Come one bro. We know you care." Sero grinning at the fuming blonde. "You even used my real name." His grin grew as he noticed Bakugou's ears went from pink to red.
"The hell I did! You're both fucking crazy! Get the hell off me!" Bakugou yelled as he freed himself from their hold. His two friends grinned at one another and chuckled.
"Whatever you say Blasty. But you did defend him." Mina teased. "Sooo you care at least a little bit!"
"Fuck you both! I only did that because we are a fucking team. If they talk bad about one of you it reflects on me! That's all it fucking was!" Bakugou looked away from his two beaming friends and muttered under his breath, "As if I'd work with less than the best."
The two young heroes heard the last part and it almost brought them to tears of joy. They never knew their blonde hair friend thought so highly of them. They knew better than to say anything about Bakugou's last comment, knowing full well he'd probably combust if they did.
"Aww! He called us a team!" Mina squealed with her hand over her heart.
"We knew you cared bro." Sero teased at the now red-faced blonde with the biggest grin on his face.
"Fuck this! Fuck you both! That's it I never working with ether of you again!" The blonde exclaimed at he stormed off.
"Aww! Don't be like that Blasty! We're a team!" Sero called to the still cursing hero, who gave him the finger without turning around. The Tape hero sighed with the brightest smile on him face, "I feel so loved right now."
Mina hugged her friend tightly. "That's because you are."
