So sorry this took me forever to do. End of the semester stuff and also this chapter just took forever ha! But enjoy!

Chapter 2

"Hold on a moment!" Tifa interjected. "Cloud is going to what?!"

"Turn into a merman," Aerith restated. "That's why people vanish when they are kissed. They turn into a merfolk and need to make it to the ocean. After three days the transformation will almost be complete and the final step is to enter the ocean."

"But how?! How is that even possible?"

Cloud herd Aerith giving some explanation, but it was all in one ear and out the other. The only thing that was sticking in his head, was the most poinate thing that Aerith had told him. He was turning into a merman. He was going to become a merman because he had allowed Zack to kiss him.

It sounded absurd and insane, yet there was no logical reasoning he could figure out. There was no amount of thinking for logical answers that would give him a good resolution. Part of him wished that this was all just a prank, some joke Aerith was trying to pull, but he knew she wouldn't do that. When it came to talking about serious subjects she tried to not joke around with it.

That still left him with the crazy thought that he was going to turn into a merman. A merman of all things!

"Cloud?"

"Huh? What?"

"You zoned out there. Are you okay?" Aerith asked gently. "I know this must be a lot to take in, but you need to remember to breathe."

"Oh… yeah. But is there anything that can be done?"

"Yeah," Tifa added. "Is there a way to stop it from changing him or reverse it?"

Aerith closed her eyes, shaking her head. "There isn't any way to fix this. Not that I am aware of at least. You have to let it run the course and transform you."

"But Cloud can't just become a merman! He just can't go off and live in the ocean for the rest of his life!" Tifa shouted.

"Tifa…" Cloud spoke up. "I know you care, but this is my life. Let me make my own choices."

"You are just going to go along with this?!"

"Yes, I mean no… I don't know really," Cloud admitted. "But let me choose how I feel. Thanks though for being vocal for me."

"I'll always be here for you Cloud," Tifa said as she offered a smile.

"Me too. I can find out more if I am able," Aerith said. "But I don't know what else can be done."

"Maybe we can find the merman and ask him?"

"He said he'd see me in three days… he knew what he was doing I guess," Cloud replied.

Tifa groaned. "So we just have to wait? Wait until the last minute? Until it's too late?"

"I'm sorry," Aerith replied. "I don't know of any other way."

Cloud walked closer to the desk and leaned forward. Running a hand over his face, he tried to think. While he knew Tifa wanted immediate answers, there was no way he could give them to her. He still was trying to get his head wrapped around the concept.

It was still strange to realize that Zack had to have known. He had kissed Cloud with the exact intention of transforming him. He didn't know too much about merfolk or their traditions, but surely there was some thought process that had to have gone into that.

No matter what he knew he was going to have to ask Zack many questions. Since he would most definitely be seeing him again, whether he really wanted to or not, he would have to be prepared. This merman would have to answer for his choices and hopefully not just pass it off with a laugh.

"For now," Aerith continued. "The only thing you can do is wait and take care of yourself. The transformation makes it harder to be on land. I've read about it before. The symptoms are needing to stay hydrated and scales appearing on your legs."

"Maybe you should stay at home Cloud. We can close the business for a few days as we try to get to the bottom of this."

"But Tifa-"

"No buts! We can't have you going on on deliveries if you are going to need to drink like every five minutes. Don't think I didn't notice how much you have been drinking through this morning! You can't ignore this."

"So I just sit at home and wait?" Cloud asked.

"Until we can find a solution to cure you, yes! Please Cloud…" Tifa pleaded. "Don't be stubborn about this. It isn't something you can just brush off so easily."

Again, Cloud knew Tifa was right. If it wasn't for her, he would always go on without thinking and do something reckless. She was one of his closest friends who cared deeply enough about him to keep him on the right track.

With a small smile he nodded. "Alright. I'll go home for now."

"Good," Tifa replied, sounding pleased. "Aerith is there anything else we should be prepared for?"

"Nothing other than staying hydrated, but I can try to look into it more. I'll call later if I find out anything else new."

With that, Tifa and Cloud prepared to head out. They gave their thanks to Aerith again and then headed back to Cloud's house. Once home, Cloud walked over to the couch and flopped down. He had a minor headache now and he could already tell that he was going to need more water again.

Tifa was already hurrying herself into his kitchen, looking for the biggest cup that he had. Thankfully he still had a few large sized plastic cups from the last party he had helped and she used that to fill it up and bring it over to Cloud.

"I'll refill your water bottle, but good to have extra cups of water around, right?"

Cloud nodded. "You're going to help me all day?"

"As much as I can. Cloud… I'm really worried for you. I know I get on your back for not caring enough about yourself, but how could you let this happen?"

"I didn't mean to. I told you… I helped him get free and he wanted to kiss me as a reward."

Tifa sighed as she flopped next to Cloud. "I wish you would stop taking everything so casually. You always act like everything that happened to you is nothing."

"I'm not happy he kissed me without telling me the truth… if that helps," Cloud said softly.

Tifa narrowed her eyes. "But you're happy he kissed you?"

Cloud shrugged. "Don't know…"

"Has it really been so long since your last date?"

Cloud hummed, not wanting to dwell too much on the memories from then. "Maybe…"

Resting a hand on his shoulder, Tifa looked at him with a sympathetic gaze. "Cloud, why didn't you tell me how you were feeling?"

"Didn't think it mattered. I was over it. Or I thought I was."

"But that doesn't mean you can just trust this merman, even if you are feeling anything. Doesn't matter how handsome you think he is."

Cloud let out a soft hum. "If anything, I can get to know him if we can't fix this. He really didn't seem too bad."

Tifa sighed. "I hope you're right, Cloud. I don't want to agree that any of this can be good, but I do want to see you happy again."

"Thanks, Tifa."

"Always, Cloud."

The following day, Cloud started to see what Aerith meant by scales. When he went to go to the bathroom he saw the little patches on his legs. They were a light blue as far as he could tell. He had to assume they would look far more vibrant in the water, considering how Zack's tail was.

Cloud went to test this with a shower, watching as the color seemed to come to life on the scales. The water also felt so nice on his skin, making the ever persistent headache go away for the time being.

Within the steaminess of the shower, it also gave him plenty of time to let his thoughts out into the open. He had been mulling the situation since yesterday and he still had no concrete answer on how to feel. He wasn't even sure he would get a proper answer for himself by the time 3 days had passed.

How was he even supposed to feel? He had learned that the merman he saved kissed him and the kiss was magical. It would transform him into a merman and he would be able to breath under the water.

Part of his mind thought that was honestly pretty cool. He had gone swimming so many times as a child, and of course everyone always tried to hold their breath the longest. Cloud wasn't the strongest in those games, but it was fun to try anyway. But being able to not have to worry about that, breathing water as if it were air, it sounded crazy.

Everything he thought was legend was actually real and he would get to see it for himself. There was that inner part of him that was excited by this. He did want to see what the ocean had to offer. He did want to see Zack again, and not just to question him as to why he did what he did.

"He couldn't be all that bad… maybe," Cloud thought to himself.

He stepped out of the shower to dry himself off, feeling the headache slowly returning once the water was gone. If this was how his day was going to start, Cloud had the feeling that things were only going to get worse.

"Cloud? Are you done yet?" Tifa called from beyond the door.

"Yeah," he called back. "I'll be changed in a moment."

After getting dressed he headed out of the bathroom and downstairs to where Tifa was cooking something on the stove. When she saw him come near, she offered a smile. "How're you feeling?"

"Headache still, but the shower helped."

"Well hopefully this soup will help," Tifa commented. "Classic Nibelheim special."

"Sounds great," Cloud said, making his way over to the couch.

He waited as Tifa finished at the stove and soon brought the bowl over to the table in front of the couch. He leaned forward and sighed. "There's scales on my legs."

Tifa gasped. "What?"

"Scales… like fish scales? Or I guess merfolk scales in this case."

"How the heck can you be so calm about this? Just telling me you have scales on your legs like it's practically nothing."

Cloud had thought about that often. He knew if anyone else was in his position they would likely be freaking out over the matter. It was still a freaky and worrying situation, and Cloud knew he had to take it seriously, but he just didn't feel afraid by it.

Maybe it was due to the slump he had been in for a while. He had felt so down and low about everything that nothing would come to him as a shock. The only thing recently that was able to pull him out of that fog was actually Zack.

Meeting Zack and briefly talking to him stirred something in Cloud, bringing out more of a reason to talk to him. He knew Zack seemed to be the bubbly energetic type, a far contrast to how he was, but he didn't dislike it. He actually enjoyed seeing the energy that others had, as it could end up rubbing off on him.

That was probably why Tifa and Aerith were such good friends for him. They both had different levels of energy, but Cloud enjoyed being around them. There was Tifa, for her deeply caring and somewhat brash energy, and then Aerith's sometimes snarky but wise energy. Both of them had been there for Cloud for years, helping him through the ups and downs in his life.

But going back to Zack, there was just something different about him… aside from the whole merman part. He practically was bubbling with energy and it really felt infectious at the time. But then the kiss had happened and all of those other thoughts left his mind.

"I'm just not sure Tifa… I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. It's just hard to process."

With a long sigh, all of the frustration melted away from Tifa's face. "Well, if you want to believe in him, then I will too. But I am still going to scold him for kissing you without telling you what he did!"

Cloud laughed. "Alright, sounds good. Thanks again Tifa."

"You're welcome. Now drink your soup. You need to keep hydrated."

Later throughout the day, Cloud had made sure to drink plenty of water, but that also meant having to go to the bathroom more. Cloud was also starting to notice more and more scales were showing up on his legs, making them feel a lot more dry and stiff.

It was around dinner time when there was a knock at the door and Tifa went to answer it. "Oh, Aerith! Have you found anything else out?"

Stepping inside, Aerith saw that Cloud was on the couch, laying down with a lot of cups of water on the table. She nodded slowly as she made her way further into the room.

"Yes, I did some more research and asked a few friends of mine. By tomorrow Cloud is going to need to rest in water until the last stage starts. From there we need to get him down to the ocean."

"There's no way to cure it then?" Tifa asked softly.

"None that I can see," Aerith answered. "I'm sorry…"

"Aerith, it's okay," Cloud said as he sat up. "You did what you could. I appreciate it."

"So it's just the waiting game at this point?"

Aerith nodded, still looking distraught over not finding a way to cure Cloud. "I'm afraid so, but when you go to the ocean, I'll come too."

"Good!" Tifa clapped her hands together. "We need all we can get to ask this merman some questions, and I know you are one of the best for that job."

Aerith laughed. "I'll try my best."

"Just don't scare him off guys," Cloud replied. "We need answers from him, not for him to hide because you two scared him."

"Oh, we're not going to scare him that badly. Just a little intimidating for pulling a fast one on our friend. We're allowed to do that, right?" Aerith said, smirking slightly.

"Yeah Cloud. You already agreed that I could scold him, so what if it comes with a little intimidation!" Tifa replied quickly after.

Shaking his head, Cloud went back to laying down. He smirked slightly before going to take another sip of water. "Nothing I can do to stop you guys, so why try?"

"Because we are a force you don't want to mess with!" Aerith said before high fiving Tifa.

As always Cloud was thankful for his friends as they always managed to bring a smile to his face. Then furthermore as the scales grew and Cloud found his legs to be stiffer, they were as careful and helpful as they could be.

Before Cloud knew it, he was in a tub in the bathroom. The pain from his legs had lessened, but the scales had grown even more. Now all he could do was sit there, letting his thoughts grow more and more as he examined the scales on his legs.

When it came to be later into the night, Cloud couldn't find himself able to sleep. Every thought that could keep him awake, did keep him awake. Tifa and Aerith also preferred that he stayed awake in case anything else were to happen. It was all a waiting game at this point, all while the scales kept seemingly to grow out of nowhere. The water only seemed to help further their growth, and Cloud was sure the entirety of his legs would be covered before morning.

It was almost morning, or at least close to when the sun was rising when Cloud felt like he was going to doze off. He still hadn't slept since getting to rest in the tub and he was starting to feel a little more drowsy.

As much as he wanted to doze off, he tried to keep himself away. It was starting to prove to be a bit of a challenge, but before he even had the chance to accidental doze off, the pain in his legs seemed to amp up ten times higher than before.

Grimacing, he tried to bear through the pain, thinking it was just a leg cramp. He had been in the water for a while now, so it wasn't unexpected. But boy did it start hurting like hell.

Reaching over he grabbed his phone and swiped to unlock it, sending a quick message to Aerith and Tifa. He gritted his teeth as he tried to adjust himself, but he felt like he was as still as a stone. He could barely move on his own without the pain burning throughout his entire lower half.

The girls burst into the bathroom within the next second, both of them looking frantically at Cloud. Tifa came by the edge of the tub and knelt down to it. "Cloud, are you okay? What's wrong?"

"It hurts," Cloud managed to say between gritted teeth.

"It's nearing the final stages I think," Aerith muttered. "We need to get him down to the beach."

"How? Tifa asked. "If he can't walk down how can we get him down there? I don't think it would be so good if we tried carrying him in broad daylight. Someone's probably going to look at us."

"There's no other choice. We'll just have to be careful and take a less crowded route. I'll get some robes or sweatpants for Cloud. He'll need something to wear if we are going to head through town," Aerith stated.

"Alright," Tifa said as she leaned closer into the tub. "Let's help you out of here, okay?"

Cloud hummed in agreement as Tifa carefully tried to pull him out of the tub. She chuckled softly. "It's good you were thoughtful enough to keep your boxers on through all of this. Always such a polite guy, eh Cloud?"

Cloud tried to give a small smile, finding a small moment of relief once he was out of the water. "What? You thought I would go commando or something?"

Tifa laughed. "Nah, that's not your style."

"Then what is my style?"

Tifa hummed, looking for the right thing to say. She then smiled and ruffled Cloud's hair up. "Being probably the kindest sweetest I know who hides under the 'cool and emotionless guy' exterior."

"I don't really think that's a style," Cloud mumbled.

"I think it is!" Aerith added as she came back through the door. She was carrying sweatpants and a loose shirt in her hands. "Alright so the plan is this; get Cloud carefully dressed. Get him in my car and we drive down as close as we can to the beach where there aren't a lot of people. Since Cloud told us the location where his merman friend was last night, that's where we check first, okay?"

Both Tifa and Cloud nodded and then their plan was set into action. The girls had to help Cloud as carefully as they could to get the loose fitting clothes on him, but then the harder part was carrying him down the stairs and to Aerith's car. Tifa was strong enough that she could carry him, but he still struggled against the pain in his legs. Everything seemed to tune out around him as Aerith and Tifa kept doing the rest of the work to get him safely down to the beach

While Cloud could barely focus, he could hear the sound of the waves. They had always sounded peaceful and relaxing before, but now they sounded better than ever. He started to wonder what it sounded like under the water when the waves were stronger. It was as if the water was calling to him, wanting to pull him in and let him embrace it all.

"Where is he?" Tifa asked

"I don't know. He never really gave Cloud a time…" Aerith sighed.

"So we just have to wait?"

"We could… but also if we get Cloud into the water, it would finish the transformation I believe and relieve him of the pain."

Tifa frowned. "I don't want to just do that… not until we talk to this merman first."

Aerith reached over, placing a hand on Tifa's shoulder. "We can't wait forever. Cloud will only be in more pain the longer we wait."

Tifa furrowed her brows. It wasn't an easy choice that she wanted to make. While she did want to help Cloud, she still wanted to stick to her morals and question this merman first. She could only hope that this rate that the merman in question would show up sooner than later.

"Should we really…?" she asked softly.

"It may be best for now. We won't let Cloud out of our sight either way."

Just as they were going to carry Cloud into the water, Tifa noticed something break the surface just a little ways out. She gasps when she sees the face of a young man looking at them, smiling happily. This had to have been the merman Zack that Cloud had described, he fit every bit Cloud mentioned.

Right away she stormed out into the water and grabbed the merman by his hair, pulling him all the way up to short.

"Ow ow! Hey come on!" Zack shouted as he tried to get Tifa to let go. "What gives?"

"You know what gives!" Tifa shouted. "You kissed Cloud knowing what it would do to him and you didn't even tell him!"

"Okay! Yeah I did that I know! But can you let go first, ow!" Zack said, still struggling in Tifa's grip.

With a huff she let him go and saw that Cloud lifted his head to look at the merman. "Zack?"

Zack grinned widely. "Hey there Spike! These some friends of yours? Think they could let you into the water first? You look like you need it."

"Yeah…" Cloud breathed softly. "Sounds good."

"Tifa," Aerith said, using a much more stern tone. "You can yell at Zack all you want, but after we get him in the water. Zack won't go swimming off with Cloud now, will he?"

She sent a glare to Zack that made him shiver slightly. "Hey I promise I won't go swimming off! But we need to help Cloud okay? Please?" He pleaded at the two girls with big, wide puppy dog eyes.

Tifa had to admit, that was a look that made it extremely hard to be mad at him. "Alright, fine."

First Tifa helped Zack back into the water, and then with Aerith's help they lowered Cloud into the water. It happened all so fast, but the sweats they had put him in tore away and almost in a blinding flash of light his legs were no longer legs. Instead there was a shimmering blue tail instead, a similar color to Zack's own.

Zack held Cloud carefully in his arms as he finally felt like he could focus on the world around him. He blinked a few times before he stared up at Zack's warm expression. "Zack?"

"Yup, it's me buddy. How are you feeling?"

"Better," Cloud answered. He looked down to see his tail, flipping in slightly to splash the shallow water. "Just a little confused still."

"Well you got plenty of time to learn everything you need to know about being a merman! And yours truly will be here to help."

"Ahem," Tifa cleared her throat. "How about you tell us why you did this to Cloud? What gives you the right to just kiss and curse humans to become a merfolk?"

"Whoa wait a minute! I didn't curse him. It's not a curse… just some magic that every merfolk knows," Zack replied. "And I did it because… well I wanted to. I didn't think I had to ask."

"Do you merfolk not have any manners or common courtesy?"

"Tifa!" Aerith gasped. "You could have a little bit of manners yourself!"

Zack sighed, lowering his head. "No, she's right. I should have been straightforward about it. I got the wrong idea when I heard what my cousin did recently and I thought that it would be okay."

"Your cousin?" Tifa asked.

Zack nodded. "Yeah, his boyfriend was a human and what he did was what made me think maybe I could find someone. Plus I made sure and asked if I could kiss Cloud! Isn't that right?"

"Yeah, you did ask," Cloud replied softly.

"See? Then it's not all too bad, right?"

"Is there any way to reverse it?" Tifa asked next.

Zack frowned, looking a little disheartened. "No, none that I know. But I guess you guys would want something like that right? I'm sorry… but we don't have any way to reverse what's been done."

"So Cloud's just going to be stuck like that forever!"

"Tifa…"

"You can't just steal people away like that!"

"Tifa."

"It isn't your choice to make!"

"Tifa!"

"Huh?" Tifa snapped out of her anger to see Cloud frowning at her.

With a deep breath Cloud offered a small smile. "Tifa, I said it before… I don't mind you sticking up for me, but I can make my own opinions."

He looked over at Zack, who was beginning to look sadder by the minute. Maybe he was even a little heartbroken. Those sad puppy eyes really did make it hard to be mad at him. Cloud had thought it over though. He had been given the past couple of days to think over every aspect of it and coming to see Zack finally gave him the answer he needed.

"So, you really don't have any malicious intent?"

Zack shook his head quickly. "No, you just saved my life. I thought you were cute… and I wanted to spend more time with you."

"And you didn't think to ask?"

"Blame my cousin and his poor social skills that influenced me!" Zack shouted exasperatedly.

"Suuuure," Cloud said as he rolled his eyes.

"It's true! You can come and meet him and you'll see what I mean!"

Cloud looked out to the ocean, feeling how the water was washing up against his body. It felt far more enticing now that the transformation had been completed. So many thoughts ran into his mind about the world of the merfolk. There would be so much he would have to learn about, but it actually felt exciting. It was something new, and maybe he finally realized that was what he was looking for.

He had fallen into a deep slump in his life. Nothing was exciting him and he barely felt anything that made him happy, but now he had a new chance to start a new life. He had a brand new experience to explore, and it would be right besides a merman who was pretty easy on the eyes.

"Alright, but I can come back and visit?"

"Well sure you can come up to the shore, just don't get tangled in any nets like I did," Zack laughed. "If you want to visit your friends I got nothing wrong with that."

Cloud looked over to Tifa and Aerith. He could see that both of them still had their own levels of worry, but they seemed much more content "That sounds fair? We can still meet up… probably to talk about the business and stuff."

"Ah man I totally forgot! Cloud your total skimming out on your work duty!" Tifa sighed with exasperation, though Cloud could see the smile behind it.

"Hey maybe we can open up trade with the merfolk," Cloud joked. "Who knows."

"Yeah!" Zack added. "I don't know what we're referring to but it sounds fun!"

"See?" Aerith clasped her hands together. "I think this can all work out in the end."

Tifa started to nod again. "I guess so. But Cloud?"

"Yeah, Tifa?"

"Just be safe okay?"

Cloud smiled. "I will."

Tifa then looked over at Zack. "And you!"

"Y-Yes?" Zack asked as he straightened up.

"You better be good to Cloud or you will not like what will happen if you aren't," Tifa replied as she cracked her knuckles.

"Hey no problem! I will be the best I can be for Cloud!" Zack said as he threw his arms around Cloud. "We're going to have the best time!"

"Then I guess it's all settled. Better let Zack and Cloud head off before any random people come walking this way," Aerith said.

With a few goodbyes to one another Zack then helps Cloud swim further out into the water. Once they were far enough, Zack steadied Cloud and looked at him, his smiling stretching over his entire face.

"So you ready?"

"For what?"

"To go underwater and see my world! Duh!"

Cloud had nearly forgotten about that aspect. He was going to breathe underwater, a concept that seemed so foreign and unreasonable a few days ago. But now all of that was real, and he would be able to do it, just like Zack could.

"I guess I'm ready."

Zack leaned a little closer. "Do you need some help?"

Cloud tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

Zack started to blush. He chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "My cousin said that his boyfriend was a bit nervous going to breathe underwater the first time. Something about the old human thoughts stopping him from wanting to breathe underwater cause you humans can't or something like that. So my cousin kissed him to surprise him before pulling him under."

Cloud just laughed. "Well you kind of ruined the surprise by telling me."

"I could still kiss you suddenly! You'd never see it coming!"

"Or you could just ask again."

Zack started to laugh. "Or that. So how about it, Cloud? Is it okay if I kiss you again?"

Cloud nodded. "It's cool."

"Alright!" Zack replied excitedly.

Wrapping his arms around Cloud he pulled him in quickly, not giving Cloud a whole lot of time to prepare. The moment Zack's lips were on his though, he closed his eyes and embraced the strong passion he felt from it. Powerful emotions flew through his mind and body as he savored the moment, he didn't even care when he felt their bodies pull underwater. He knew he could trust Zack, even if his heart was racing rapidly.

When Cloud went to take a breath, he could tell he was underwater. It wasn't the exact same as breathing air, but he was breathing, and that was what mattered most in this situation. It felt just like normal, much more than breathing air did seconds ago.

All of those thoughts quickly left his mind though as he embraced Zack for another kiss.

It was hard for Cloud to put it together, but he hadn't felt like this in years. This feeling… this burning passion that bubbled up in his chest. It swirled all over him and without realizing it, his fingers threaded through Zack's hair, hoping he was able to transfer the feelings he had to him by touch.

When they pulled apart, he saw how wide Zack's grin had gotten. "See? That worked pretty well, didn't it?"

Cloud looked around, breathing in as he saw perfectly under the water's surface. "Yeah it worked."

"Follow me then and I'll give you the grand tour!"

Zack held on to Cloud's hand as he pulled him along, swimming down deeper. Zack started rambling a whole bunch of things to Cloud as they swam along. From common knowledge about merfolk and various other things he thought were important.

Cloud listened, not minding that Zack had a lot to say. He found he actually liked listening to Zack talk. His voice was rather pleasant to listen to, and maybe even a touch adorable. When he laughed, or showed great excitement in what he was talking about, it really showed in his tone.

Cloud had the feeling that this new step in his life was going to really be something else, and with Zack by his side it was going to be rather enjoyable. There was so much he had to discover about Zack, but he was ready to find out.

"So am I going to meet this cousin of yours?" Cloud finally asked as they approached the underwater city.

"Oh? You wanna meet him?"

"You said he was the one who inspired you to kiss a human, right? I'm just curious I guess."

"Oh right! Well I guess we could try and stop by. Don't know how busy he'll be, being the prince and everything, but we can try!"

Cloud blinked a few times. "Wait… your cousin is the prince? What does that make you?"

"Well we are cousins by our mother's. My mom and his mom are sisters and his mom married the king, blah blah blah. So… that makes me a prince-in-law?"

Cloud snorted. "I don't think that's how that works."

"We can ask when we get there! Let's get going then!" Zack shouted as he started to swim a little faster.

Chuckling softly, Cloud swam to catch up with Zack, knowing that this was definitely going to be the start of something new and fun.

The next Kiss of a Mer series is going to be a KH one, so keep an eye open for that when I am able to post it! Until next time!
