As Genos and Saitama are walking home the eye in Saitama's hand starts twitching.
"An energy source is following us."
Saitama looks at Genos with his eyebrow raised.
"Did you say something Genos?" Saitama asked
"No sensei, but I heard something talk about an energy source." Genos said looking around for what could've said that
"Want me to explore the area and search for whatever said that sensei?"
"In your hand Saitama." Said the same voice from earlier
Saitama opens his palm to and realises that it was Boros.
"Oh yeah you're here." Saitama said looking at the eye in the hand
The sound of a beam charging can be heard from Genos.
"Master Saitama, do you want me to erase that eye in your hand? It must be from what is left from an alien you killed on the ship. Somehow it survived, allowing me to erase it." He says with his beam fully charged.
"Oh no it's alright. It's part of the alien boss I killed earlier. He asked me to take him to somewhere safe so he can recover." Saitama told Genos
"Master, you said he was your greatest foe. If he regenerates he could go on a rampage that most of S class can't even stop. It's better if we take him out now before he does anything." Genos said still prepared to fire the beam at what remains to Boros
"So… your Saitama's Disciple? Does that mean you're near his level of strength too? I assure you, I won't cause any trouble." Boros said moving his pupil in the direction of Genos
"I wouldn't even say I'm close to his level. Still how can I assure you aren't trying to be cowardly and trying to regain your strength to then attempt to backstab Master? How can I know your true motive when you destroyed all of City A when you arrived? You could've been attempting to dominate this planet and that's your reason for coming here."
'Wow, Genos is really interrogating Boros hard huh.' Saitama thought to himself
" I arrived on earth to fulfill my boredom that grew from conquering most planets in the universe with little to no ease. A seer told me a prophecy that said I'd find a worthy opponent here on earth. However, Saitama was too strong, instead of being a fair fight I was too weak compared to Saitama-"
"20 WORDS OR LESS PLEASE!" Saitama said in annoyance.
"Yes, Master Saitama prefers conversations to be short. Although I am interested."
"Oh… My bad. Well, because Saitama is on a whole nother level it's given me a purpose to life and that is-" Boros said as Saitama and Genos continued walking
"So you want to become Saitama's disciple to gain enough strength to surpass him? If so not only can you forget about becoming Saitama's Disciple as he only needs one." Genos said glaring at Boros
'They don't get what 20 words or less means do they' Saitama thought getting slightly annoyed
"My goal is to get strength on Saitama's level. I'll do it walking the path of a hero just like Saitama." Boros stated finally saying what his gol actually was after a few interruptions.
That seemed to ease up Genos. He believed what Boros said and he did want to keep Boros around to see how strong he was since he is Saitama's strongest foe yet.
"Seeing that Sensei took mercy on you, I'll stop prying and put the same trust in you he puts. On the off chance you betray Sensei's trust then I'll make it my personal goal to finish you. Also you can't be his disciple, he only has one and that's me. Remember that
"I plan on getting the strength on my own, but still walking the path of a hero." Boros stated refocusing his gaze to the sky.
"I do look forward to sparring with you if you don't mind Genos. Also, I still can't shake off the feeling we're being followed by an energy source"
"I think sparring with Genos might be a bit too much for him as of now, but if something was following us why wouldn't they out themselves already, and why follow us. Only another person I can think would do that would be, uhhh Speek O whatever his name is." Saitama said, a little less annoyed.
"Master, if you don't mind, can I actually train with Boros, or atleast witness his full power? Then I'll aim my goal to be as strong as he is. Also on the subject of someone following us, I don't sense any energy levels in the area. Your senses must be out of whack from losing to master."
"Well that could be it…. Anyways, Your name is Genos correct? I notice you're made out of robotic parts, yet you act like you are not programmed. You are almost like a person. It looks like the technology on this earth is set back but the programming is far superior than anything I've seen so far." Boros says looking at Genos
"I'm not a robot. Still a person but I am mostly robotic. I was saved from a robot that left me near death 5 years ago. I was fixed by a scientist named Doctor Kuseno and he made me this half human half robot thing we call Cyborgs. You did say that the technology looks ' set back' what type of technology have you seen in space." Genos asked
"Well I tried making worthy opponents out of robotic pieces a long time ago, and my ship made it to where I had toI learned about a lot of robotics and technology. I wouldn't say I'm the best in the galaxy but I'm still pretty good." Boros responded
"Hm, well when you're fully recovered would you mind showing me what you can do not only physically but with technology at Kuseno's lab? How long do you think it'd take you to recover by the way?" Genos asked Boros
"Well I'm not sure about that at all, I've never been defeated to this extent. Also of course, I love talking about robotics and technology from all around the galaxy. I used to talk about it with my elites but they couldn't handle how much I talked about it." Boros said more interested in the conversation
The 2 started having a conversation about technology and robotics which made Saitama annoyed and more bored, he just decided to space out till they got home, wondering what he should make for dinner tonight.
Meanwhile, Tatsumaki followed Genos and Saitama till they got into City Z, wondering where the Class B hero lives so she can confront him later about his strength. 'This man lives in City Z? Not only does he have overwhelming strength but he lives in this monster runned city too? He must've beaten multiple monsters by now but never told the association. Why hasn't he?'
After Tatsumaki found out where Saitama lived she left to go home and get some sleep, before she confronted him. 'I should ask him for a fight. To know for sure if he was stronger than me.' There is something else in that was their following the Tatsumaki. A small non humanoid ball monster.
"Kekekekekeke! Is Tatsumaki on to where the monster Association is? I better report this to Gyoro Gyoro." the Monster said for some reason not scared of Tatsumaki for some reason
-THE NEXT DAY-
Saitama woke up he saw Genos standing looking at something
"*Yawn*, Good morning Geno-" Saitama was saying before turning his attention to the almost complete body of Boros who still seems to be in his Meteoric Burst form.
"Morning master Saitama. It seems his body is almost fully repaired almost overnight".
" Oh, he's still asleep right?" Saitama questioned
"Yes, Sensei. What shall we do in the meantime?"
"Ehh I don't know. I got video games we can play if you want. Just let me brush my teeth and change." Saitama said
"Alright Sensei. I haven't played a video game before so I'll try learning what I can as you get ready." Genos said turning on the console and practicing against a bot while Saitama gets ready.
"Alright I'm ready." Saitama said grabbing his controller
After an hour of playing and all of Genos's failed attempts against Saitama and a plethora of combos Saitama landed on Genos's character Boros finally woke up.
"Saitama, Genos." Boros said looking at them then back at his body
"I've regenerated most of my body almost overnight, thing is I'm in my Meteoric Burst form. If I don't do something about this then my life span will shorten greatly. Genos since this you talked about was able to make you from an organism to a cyborg I was wondering if you could bring me to him and see if he can do anything about this." Boros asked of Genos
"Oh, May I Master Saitama? I wanted to bring him to Kuseno anyway to see if we could study Boros's physical Prowess for the next updates to my body. I can make it in time for before we go grocery shopping." Genos said turning to Saitama
"Oh yeah sure. Plus I'm kinda tired of schooling you in video games. I'll just read manga till you return." Saitama said reaching for a Manga
"Thank you Sensei. I'll head to Kuseno with Boros's body right now." Genos said getting up
"Yeah yeah go ahead." Saitama said starting to read it
"Thank you Saitama, I'll find a way to repay my debt to you."Boros said as Genos started carrying him on his back.
"No it's alright." Saitama said trying to end the conversation as fast as he can so he can go back into reading manga
Genos blasted away towards Kuseno's lab while Saitama closed the door.
"Finally I can read my manga in peace." Saitama said
As he said that he heard a knock on the door making him let out a sign. He went and opened the door thinking it was Genos but a short girl with green hair looking up at him.
"Huh, I feel like I've seen you before. Anyways if your a salesman then-" Before saitama could finish Tatsumaki cut him off
"I'm Class S Rank 2 Tatsumaki. I challenge you to a fight, I want to test your strength." Tatsumaki said in her normal bratty tone
"Huh, why?" Saitama looked at her puzzled
"Didn't you hear eggshell? I said I wanted to test your strength."
"Uhh sorry I have more important things to do." Saitama said walking back into his apartment
"LIKE WHAT?!" Tatsumaki said getting progressively angrier what topped this off is when she saw Saitama sit down and reading manga
"You. Dare. Mock. Me?" Tatsumaki said with her hair starting to flow upwards with all of the items in Saitama's apartment floating.
"Huh, psychic powers? Seems cool but my stuff'll probably break so stop that if you don't mind." Saitama said looking at all the items
"..." Tatsumaki didn't respond but kept lifting things up
Saitama started to get worried about his stuff and was looking around for the most expensive thing that'd probably break if she didn't stop, but then his eyes hit the video games.
"Hey, how about this. If you beat me in a round of that video game then I'll fight you, if not then you leave me alone in peace." Saitama said grinning feeling confident from schooling Genos
Everything in the apartment stopped floating and Tatsumaki stopped floating too and walked into the apartment.
"Thats unfair since I've never played video games. How about another challenge, Eggshell?" Tatsumaki said calmer then she was a second ago
"Here I'll let you have the first round as a practice match," Saitama said still with the smug look on his face
"Uhg fine. I don't know why I even came out here" Tatsumaki said grabbing a controller already accepting defeat before the game started
Saitama gave a little laugh getting ready to school Tatsumaki but after the first three hits he landed on her in the practice round he started getting comboed by Tatsumaki
"Huh, so this is how you play this game." Tatsumaki said focused on it
Not before long Saitama got comboed harder than he thought was possible.
"H-HOW?!" Saitama said shocked at how he got defeated that easily
Tatsumaki stopped focusing on the game after he said that and looked at him with a more smug grin then Saitama had earlier.
"If it's gonna be this easy then I might be the one needing to give you practice round. I'll make it easier for you and use my pointer fingers." Tatsumaki said refocusing on the game
"YOU'RE ON!" Saitama said not letting himself lose slide
Tatsumaki and Saitama started playing multiple rounds for the next few hours with Tatsumaki defeating Saitama every single round.
Meanwhile at Kuseno's lab
"Boros, nice to meet you. I've made this for you to make sure that your form won't lower your lifespan. Also thanks for repairing Genos for me, since he requested to see what you can do with my technology." Kuseno said, walking into the room with Boros's operating on Genos's cybernetic body.
"It's no problem. I'm a bit rusty but I love working on robotics for my passtime." Boros replied while adding 2 new pipes into Genos's arm.
"What are those for?" Kuseno asks
"I'm planning on making energy sources instead of using a core for Genos's body. With this he puts the energy sticks I'm putting in his arm and legs into his back for extra energy he can use for a second energy source. If these were Genos's main energy source one of these would last a year." Boros said still very focused on working on it.
Kuseno looks intrigued and starts watching.
"If inserted in 6 holes in the back Genos will have enough strength that'd surpass even my elites. That's just if he chooses to fight with only his beams. 3 of them would work for his Incineration Cannons and 3 for physical combat. If he decides to put it all in his Incineration cannons he'd transform into a form for fighting that makes him more speed and firepower heavy. If he puts it in physical combat then the transformation he has is more defense heavy and powerful physically. And- ah sorry I went on a tirade." Boros stopped himself
"No it's fine I'm intrigued. I'd like to hear you continue actually!" Kuseno says
"Oh really? Alright" Boros said as he continued and had a conversation with Kuseno about technology they both enjoyed.
Back at Saitama's apartment
"HA! I used one finger that time. This game is fun. Here, how about I close my eyes this match." Tatsumaki said relaxing as she beat Saitama for the 545th time.
"No…. I give up….." Saitama said utterly defeated.
"Finally had enough huh? Oh yeah why did I come here again? Oh yeah wanted to fight against you. I'm not in the mood right now for a fight so what do you want to do now?" Tatsumaki said and then thought 'Wait, why do I even want to stay around for a bit? Probably cause other than this and killing monsters I'm bored.'
"Hm? Oh yeah I was gonna go grocery shopping but Genos isn't here yet." Saitama said standing up
"I'll make a deal with you, instead of fighting today. You bring me with you, buy me this game." Tatsumaki said standing up also.
"Why do you want to come with me?" Saitama asked, putting on his sandals.
"It's either go with you or fight monsters. Which is all the same and boring."
"Yeah, I know how that feels. Lets go." Saitama said relating to her
"Wait!" Tatsumaki said before Saitama left the apartment
"Hm?"
"I need to borrow a hoodie or a t- shirt and a hat as a disguise." She looking embarrassed
A few side notes. Genos currently with the cyborg version he's at right now is at a high dragon level, specifically around Bangs strength and when he's in a mode he's a bit under Tatsumaki. Although I do plan on Tatsumaki getting stronger. I did add in an extra monster that doesn't exist in the webcomic or Manga just so I can move the story in a different way. I'm tryna use feedback from my last chapter to see if this is long enough. I'd like to hear more as I go along.
