ARIZONA POV

It's that time of year again. At least it is the final year. Yay. As I get ready for the day I put on my glasses and sneakers and I head downstairs to find my parents and brother in the living room.

"Good morning Zona are you ready for your last first day of high school". Says my dad. Ya sure another year that can be great but will still have the deal with the popular kids picking on me and my friends. Although there's one girl that I like but she has never noticed me or find me attractive . I Thought but didn't actually say it out loud. "Yes sir and I'm actually all already to go ," I responded when my dad is waiting for an answer. "Good sport, I hope you have a good day and I love you". "Love you too dad let's go Timothy, bye mon" "bye sweetheart, bye Tim love you guys and I hope you both have good days" " thanks mom. Love you." Me and Tim says. After that we are on our way to school. "Excited for our last year zones" "I don't know to be honest but I hope it is good." I say to my twin brother, thankfully that is a good enough answer for Tim and we rode to school in silence.

Some backstory of me is that before I started high school me and my family moved every 10 months. But ever since my Dad has retired when I just started high school we have been permanently placed here in Seattle. I am not popular but I do have a good group of friends. I am a lesbian and all my friends know and accepts mefor who I am.

My friend Alex Karev is my best friend who is athletic with being on the football team but won't be considered to be popular. Although he is friends with some of the popular kids. Than there is April Kenner she is a brainiac but I love her. After there ya Henry Burton who is good at baseball and is on the baseball team. She is seriously the smartest person I know when it comes to science. And Teddy Altman my other best friend who plays softball. I can say that I have a good pretty group of friends and I am grateful for all of them.

At School

It's that time of year again with the same people for the last 5 years and more. I love and hate coming here sometimes. Well at least I can try out for soft ball. My friend Teddy says I am good enough, but with being an outcast I don't know if I should tryout. Although there is one thing that would be a plus if I join the team. Callie Torres. The hottest girl in school and my crush for the last 5 years. Although she never notices me. She's at the top of the food chain and is very hot. She can have anyone she wants. Why would she want someone like me.

As I keep daydreaming about her I was walking and wasn't paying attention and ran right into someone. As I come to my surroundings I looked up and see Alex smirking at me. "Hey there, were you day dreaming about a certain softball captain again." He says. "Oh shut up. So what if I was, I know that I'm out of my league. But a girl can dream." He roles his eyes "Whatever, let's go". After that we head over towards the gym to collect our schedules.

As we collected our schedules we both realized that we both have Ap English with Mrs. Freeman-king. "Oh thank god we are in the same class" I said with excitement in my voice. "You may think that is a good thing but she makes us sit in assign seats" says Alex. "Oh god this is going to suck." I say in a irritated manner. Alex nods in agreement and then we head off to our first class.

"Good morning Mrs. Freeman" we both say at the said. She says good morning to us and then point towards where we are sitting.

After a while of just writing down notes in my book for class I hear a voice that fills my heart with joy. Callie Torres has walked in the class and I can see that she is talk to Mrs. Freeman-King.

As Callie enters the first class I watch as she is greeted by our English teacher Mrs. Freeman- King. "Good morning how was your summer" says Mrs.F. " It was good Mrs. F I had lots of fun with my friends and family. How was yours?" " It was fun and great and now can you please sit in the seat next to Ms.Robbins since the seats are in alphabetical order". I see Callie nod and walk up to the seat that is beside me.

I am shocked and nervous as she comes over here and takes the seat next to me. Honestly even if I do have a big massive crush on her I am very scared to sit next to her for the next few months and wonder how this will go. Although she will never notice me. "Hey" she says politely to me. "Hey" I say back quietly not trying to give myself away. After that we just sit in silence. For the rest of the class I just focus on our teacher or my notebook because I am so feverous and if I look up and she catches me she will tell that I am. So for the rest of the time I just focus on my notes as I listen to the teacher.

After class I walk out with Alex who is smiling at me while we meet up with Teddy in the halls. "Hey Teddy guess who is Arizona's desk buddy for the semester" says Alex enjoying this. "Ooo who is it?". Says Teddy being confused on why Alex is asking her that. " Callie Freaking Torres and it makes me so nervous "I say in a rush. "Calm down Robbins. Frist, Don't be your dorky self and second, make sure you don't say anything that will embarrass you." Alex says. "You right I got this, it will be fine" I said as we headed to our next class. "Plus she will never noticed me anyways." I said with a frown.

In the next class we are greeted by our History teacher Mr. Warren. "Good morning Arizona, Alex and Teddy you're almost late." He says in a strong voice that almost got me scared."Sorry sir we got sidetracked in the hallway, it won't happen again". Teddy said and after we looked around the classroom for seats. I saw Callie and Mark in deep conversations and then realized there's only three seats left and it was around them. Great. There were two in front of Callie and Mark and one beside Callie. I looked at Alex and Teddy. We make a dash for the seats and me and Alex got to sit together but Teddy ends up sitting beside Callie.

"Hey Karev you wanna sit with us at lunch today and catch up and talk about the upcoming season for football" Mark tells Alex as soon as he sees him. "Ya you should definitely sit with us and catch with us. We know we don't really talk to you but it is a new year and you are pretty cool" Callie says in agreement to Mark's suggestion. And then Callie turns to Teddy. " And you should as well Teddy since you are on the softball team and we need to talk about tryouts and training for our last and upcoming season. Also we need to be at our A game for our last year in High school, so that means we need to start training early". Teddy looks at me and searches for an answer from me, I just nodded. "Sure but can my friend Arizona come along". Just noticing me for the first time Callie says "Hey aren't you in my English class" "yes I am" I tell her . "Oh ya that's right your Arizona Robbins Tim Robbins is your brother ". I am shocked that she knew my name. "Ya I-". I was about to finish my statement but Alex finished for me. "Yes this is her " oh yeah you're that nerd" Mark says. " Hey!! Don't call her that!" Alex yells at Mark. "I am sorry I am really bad with names." Callie says to me. I just shrugged at her. I was about to say something but Mr. Warren started talking.

"Hello class welcome to your first day of History, since it is only the first day of school I will be giving you an assignment once you are seniors but it will be about about the history of one of your classmates. I have a bowl with all your names in it and whoever your pick out from that bowl is going to be your partner." Mr. Warren explains. As he was calling people up I hear him call Teddys name. Teddy walks up and picks a name. She grins and says out loud she is working with Henry. A boy she had a crush since freshmen year. Than Mark got paired with Alex. " looks like we are working together dude." "Ya cool " says Alex and I just laughed. As more people are paired I wait patiently for my turn. Finally he calls on me and I walk up and select a name. As I read the name out loud I get butterflies in my stomach. "Callie Torres" I read and Callie shots up her head looking at me and nods. As I walked back to my spot I see Alex and Teddy smirking at me. " Well l guess we are partners" Callie just nods and go back to talking to Mark and Alex. Meanwhile Teddy is just looking at me with a knowing look. I shoot her a deadly look.

After the bell rings me, Teddy and Alex waits outside for Mark and Callie. After that we walk towards the Cafeteria.
