Justice

Kikyo was reborn in Kagome's body with all her memories intact. In the middle of the war between L and Kira. Recognizing justice, she throws in her lot with Kira.

2. Goddess

"You were right." Light said, after writing her name in the Death Note. "You cannot be killed by the Death Note."

"That is correct." Kikyo said. "But I am not your enemy. I can see Shinigami, and I can discover the name of your enemy, L."

"Interesting." Light said. "What do you get out of this?"

"I have come to believe as you do." Kikyo said. "This world is rotten. It needs purifying. Your Death Note is an excellent tool. I simply believe that Kira is justice."

"You're sure you don't want anything?" Light said skeptically. "Not a date or anything."

Kikyo laughed. "I am beyond such mundane frivolities."

That only made him want her more.

"Very well." Light said. "You will find L's name for me. End him if you can."

Kikyo bowed.

Light would have this priestess. She would be his goddess.
