As promised, Daisy texted her dad when she arrived at school. Her text was short and to the point.
Hey I'm at school x
Her daily task only took her a few seconds but if it wasn't done, she'd get messages all day from her dad, constant phone calls until he knew she was there safely. As expected, her phone buzzed and she looked down at the reply.
Ok, what time you finishing, I can give you a lift home?
Daisy sighed, quickly typing back.
Don't worry it's fine, I'm finishing at 2 but I can walk home, just focus on your work x
When she had first moved to Broadchurch she was saying the complete opposite to her dad. He was focusing more on his work than his daughter and only when the naked photo of her had gone around had he started to be more involved. She knew he loved her very much and she did as well but it felt like he cared more about the case than her.
And now it was the other way around. They had grown closer since she moved here and she was grateful but she needed space as well. His constant worrying sent her on edge as well and annoyed her. But there was nothing stopping Alec. He was a force not to be reckoned with.

Daisy shoved her phone in her pocket and made her way to her group of friends.
"Hey Dais, we were just thinking about going to town after school" her friend Ella said.
"I can't, got loads of homework and my dad as well" she lied. That wasn't the reason why she couldn't go out to town but the part about her dad was true.
"Jesus, is he still worried, it's been four months now surely he sees there's no threat" Chloe said and Daisy scoffed, shaking her head.
"I've literally tried everything, said everything I can and he won't listen, it's just easier if I go home, I can do the weekend though, maybe do something then?" She suggested.
"Sure, there's supposed to be this house party this Saturday, we can swing by that, Joe Thomas is doing it, there's going to be loads of alcohol there" Lily said excitedly.
"Oh yeah I heard about that, he's invited everyone round, his lives in that big mansion that backs not the beach, it's going to be sick" Ella replied.
"My parents have gone away, took my bother to look at universities so we can stay at mine and no one will know we've been drinking" Lily said.
"Sounds good, what do you say Daisy" Chloe asked. Daisy took a moment to think of her answer. She hadn't been to a party before but she was good friends with most of the students in her year and she knew Joe Thomas a little bit. He was one of those popular boys that was always smoking round the corner of the school building. She thought it would be nice to let her hair down a bit. She'd only ever drunk once before but she didn't get drunk or anything. It was at Chloe's house when she stole some of her mums wine and they were drinking in her bedroom. Luckily her dad didn't know.
Daisy was going to have to be careful keeping this secret away from her dad. If he knew she was going to a boys house to drink underage, he would personally come down there and stop the whole thing and she couldn't bare to be embarrassed or have to go to school everyday as the girl whose father ruined their night.
"Yeah alright, I'll tell my dad we're sleeping over at yours then" she smiled and the girls smiled back.
"I can't wait, I'm going to have to think of something to wear" Chloe said as the group made their way into the school building.
Daisy's phone buzzed and she was sure that it was going to be her dad but when she looked at who it was from, a smile appeared on her face.
Can't wait to see you later, are we going straight back to yours? Xxx
Daisy looked up to make sure her teacher didn't notice her texting, even though it wasn't a big deal if he didn't catch up.
Me too, yeah we can go to mine, like I said dad won't be home till 9, pick me up round the back yeah, are you at work today? xxxx
Daisy couldn't help but grin, thinking about her evening to come and she hoped that the day would go fast so she could enjoy it while her dad was out. There was a small part inside her that felt guilty for what she was doing but she had to admit, she was all wrapped up in happiness and comfort.
I am but I told them I'm leaving early for an appointment, I don't have to be in until tomorrow xxx

Daisy put her phone to the side, trying to concentrate on her work but found it too boring to even want to listen. She just wanted this day to end.
As the bell rung, Daisy gathered her stuff and vacated out the school grounds. Her group of friends were by the car park and she hopped over. It had finally reach two o'clock and the day had dragged on. Having a two hour class for biology was so draining and she could barely keep her eyes open.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow, I'm going to head this way home" she said to them.
"Alright Dais, see you tomorrow, good luck with ya dad" Daisy giggled, shaking her head.
"Thanks" she turned on her heel and disappeared in the opposite direction, glancing over her shoulder to see the group head off into town. She made her way to the back of the school near the road and saw the familiar blue car waiting for her. It was quiet round the back of the school and no one was around luckily.
She jogged up, not hiding her excitement and she ripped open the car door, squeezing inside.
"Hey" she smiled as she turned to face the handsome man next to her.
"Hey, how was school?" He asked and she shrugged.
"Was okay, was dragging for so long but I'm glad it's over" she smiled.
Jay turned in his seat, leaning over, his hand brushing against her neck and pulling her forward for a soft kiss.
"Come on, let's get over to that bedroom of yours" he whispered and she nodded, biting her bottom lip.
Daisy fumbled with her door keys, turning the lock quickly and pushing open the door to her house, pulling Jay behind her inside.
She dumped her bag on the floor and arms wrapped around her, pulling her close to his body as their lips met again.
Jay pushed her backwards, their lips not leaving each other's as they stumbled to her bedroom where he pushed her down on the bed and followed.
Sweet kisses were exchanged and Daisy moved softly, wet lips pressing against her neck.
"Wait… wait" she breathed as she pulled her phone out. Jay pulled back, eyebrows furrowed.
"I need to text my dad otherwise he'll be on my case" she hurried to send a quick text to her dad so he wouldn't get suspicious. The last thing she needed was him walking in early to find the two of them in her bedroom.
"Well, hurry up, I can't hold on much longer" he whispered in her ear and bit the top of it, sending a shiver down Daisy's spine.
"Just give me a second" her fingers pressed on the keys quickly, typing a quick message but she was becoming distracted by the touch of his lips on her shoulder, her hair being brushed so he had access to her neck.
Daisy closed her eyes in pleasure, a moan letting go and her eye sight became blurry as she tried to concentrate hard on sending the text to her dad.
She pressed the send button and dropped her phone as Jay pulled her close, kissing her hard. Her hands wrapped around his neck, fingers running into his dark hair as he fell on top of her, bodies sinking into the mattress.
"Oh Jay" she moaned and she closed her eyes in ecstasy. Tingles shot up her body and she felt a hot flush over her body. Hands roamed her body and she felt her zipper of her jeans being pulled down.
Zzz zzz zzz
Daisy's eyes shot open at her phone buzzing and she sat up, pushing Jay off her to grab it.

"Just ignore it" he groaned and kissed the back of her neck.
"Shit! It's my dad" she quickly answered it, holding it tightly to her ear and gave Jay a warning look.
"Hey dad" she answered.
"You alright, where are ya?" He said with worry, his thick Scottish accent sounding the words out. When he was angry or worried, his accent was strong.
"At home, like I said" Daisy blinked in confusion. She felt wet lips press the back of her neck again and she pulled away.
"You said you weren't at home, have you gone somewhere else" Daisy's heart started to beat fast and she quickly looked at her text she had sent her dad, sighing at the realisation.
I'm not at home now xx
"Shit, it must have accidentally autocorrected, I didn't see that before I sent it, I meant to say I'm at home" Jay continued to press kisses to her, distracting her from the conversation. Daisy bit her lip tightly to stifle the moan.
Daisy heard her dad let out a sigh of relief on the other end.
"Alright darling, I'm glad your home, I'll see you tonight okay" he said and she nodded.
"Yeah sure" she groaned, trying to push Jay off her but he was stronger.
"Love you".
"Yeah love you to dad" daisy hung the phone up quickly and turned to Jay.
"Jay my dad could have heard that, do you want him to find out" Daisy said with frustration.
"Oh come on, I'm sure he didn't, otherwise he would have said something" he shrugged.
"Well, you're the reason he called, if you hadn't distracted me" she groaned and Jay sighed.
"Ok I'm sorry, come here" he pulled her into a hug and she rested her head on his chest. Jay pressed a kiss to her forehead and she relaxed in his arms.
"You can't stay mad at me, admit it" he smirked and she giggled, pulling herself away and she stood up, standing in front of him. His eyes wandered up and watched as she flung her sweatshirt off and her top as well. He smirked as he watched the beautiful girl in front of him undress and Daisy straddled him on the bed and pressed a long sweet kiss to his lips.
