Chapter two- Initiation
Jaune is flying through the air completely surprises that the headmaster just did that to the students, he then spreads his wings out and begins to glide through the air for a bit before flapping his wings and just flying around looking for the relics.
In the forest
The boy that Nora met had pulled out large metal claws and used them to hook onto a branch before spinning off it and jumping to the next branch and continued to do so avoiding any obstacles in his way.
Another part of the forest
The half giant landed creating a crater in her landing spot before getting up and looking around. "Ok were to do" she said to herself deciding to go north. As she walks some Beowulfs jump at her but she easily kill them by swinging her hammer around her body destroying the limbs off any Beowulf that was unlucky enough to get hit. "That was easy" she thinks to herself before she can continue walking she heard a oh so familiar voice, before she can sprint the fuck out of there someone hit her on the back of her head causing her to fall face first to the floor. "OH great im with you" Pyrrha sneers at Nora with said female turning around and glaring at the snake bitch "Oh so sorry 'princess' want me to call your little butler to get you something to drink" insulted back the half Darkstalker.
"Haha very funny you lowlife hybrid" says Phyrra with disgust in every word. "Lowlife huh you know you can at least *try* to be originally with the lame insults you red headed snake bitch!" Yells Nora as Phyrra's vipers begin to hiss at her.
On the cliff
"And the next pair that we have are Phyrra Nikos and Nora Valkyrie" says Ms. Goodwitch as she shakes her after seeing that. "I feel we will be hearing miss Nikos asking to switch partners after the initiation is over" says Goodwitch as she massages her temples preparing for all the yelling that's about to be directed at them. "Now now Glynda you have nothing to worry about I have a plan to deal with this, besides this may give miss Nikos an experience with hybrids that shows they are not the lowlifes she thinks they are" says Oz as he takes a sip of his coffee.

Above the forest
" I should have stayed home" Jaune whispers to himself while flying as he sees Ruby in some kind of trouble he flys down to help her but quickly stops when he sees Weiss schnee if he is correct, help fight off some of the Grimm. He nodded and continued flying to a large ruin structure. While he is flying he didn't notice red eyes following him. When he past a clearing in the forest black vines shoot out of him grabbing him by the ankle "Ah!" Yells Jaune in surprised as he suddenly drag down "Let me go!" Screams the hybrid using his lance as a way to cut the vines and trying to stay afloat. But more vines shootout wrapping his arms, legs and wings.
Jaune struggles against the vines trying to pull himself out by flying higher and higher but the creature just brings out more vines that grab onto him. He tries lighting his lance on fire but with his arms restraint he can't reach and the beast brings a Jaune down slamming him into the ground creating a crater. The impact made him drop his lance and dazed him long enough for the Grimm to use its vines to throw him around making him crash into multiple trees. The Grimm stops after seeing Jaune unconscious and comes out of hiding from the ground with it appearing like a Venus flytrap with ten eyes and giant thrown like teeth holding Jaune over its mouth. But a metal claw on a chain flies into one of its eyes before a green blur gets pulled on the chain and hits another eye, the pain causes the Grimm to drop Jaune on the ground with the impact awakening Jaune who sees a boy in green and black jumping around avoiding vines. He looks around before spotting and making a dive at his lance. He then turns back to the Grimm flies into the air before dive bombing another eye with his lance on fire!
With his weapon ignited he slashes and stabs the plant Grimm burning it as well "Hey" he calls out to the boy in green as he dodges a bite from the grimm as more vines shoot out from the ground to grab them "Can you buy me some time" Jaune ask to tbe boy. The black hair boy noods and speak for the first time in there meeting "Ok" with the boy launching his claws to there monster to dig in into the Grimm.
As the darkstalkers and Grimm fought. Jaune breaths in and out as he twist his weapon separating it by segmented pieces connected by a fire like energy. He grabs the ends and use it like a whip "Get out!" Barks Jaune a he launches the lance whipe. The black hair boy jumps aways as the Grimm get trapped in the grip of the weapon by it wrapped around its body as well burning it.
The boy then bounces between some trees then jumps high into the air as his claws get charged with electricity before for he come crashing down on the Grimm electrocuting it as it also gets burned by Jaune fire. The two stop as the Grimm beings to turn to dust with the boy flipping off of it and landing on the ground with Jaune landing right next to him. The two then look at each other as Jaune holds up his hand for a handshake. "Thanks for the help back there, the name's Jaune. " The boy then moves the claws into his sleeve before accep the handshake. "My name is Ren and it's nice to meet you partner" says Ren with a smile on his face.
Back with Pyrrha and Nora
"This is your fault!" Yells Nora throwing a Grimm to Pyrrha who cuts it in half using her whipe sword "My fault, may fault!" Angrily yells the snale woman stabbing a Grimm by her snake hair "You were the one who started it!" Blames pyrrha dodging a ursa attack. The hybrid is deailing with her own problems. "Oh dont put all the blame to me bitch!!" She curse back wild holding back a huge spider Grimm with her hands.
Nora uses her strength to throw the spider Grimm onto its side before using her hammer to smash one of it leg into dust as Phyrra uses her as a platform to jump up and makes her whip blade tie around the neck of the spider before pulling on it and decapitating it. She then lands on the ground with a smug smirk "Hmm it seems your good for something at least" says Phyrra as she begins to walk towards the ruins with Nora fuming with rage behind her.
With Jaune and Ren
The two boys are above the forest with Jaune holding onto Ren's arms as he flies above the trees looking for the temple. "Hey Ren do you see anything that might lead us to the temple" ask Jaune as Ren looks over the red tops of the trees before spots a grey tower in the distance. "Ya this way" said the black hair teen as let's go is Jaune's arms and starts jumping from tree to tree to the direction of the tower "Hey wait up!" Screams jaune trying catch up.
Time skip:
"Wow this looks big" says a star struck Jaune seeing the huge ancient tower, covered by wild life. He walks up to it finding "Ah why are chest? Pieces here?" He question to himself.
"I'm pretty sure that's the relics we're looking for" says Ren as he hops over to the black rook piece. "Welp now that we have the relic we should probably head bac-ACK!" Yells Jaune as something crashes into his back making him get a mouthful of dirt. "Hmm at least you're good for something" says Pyrrha as she stands up and walks off him. Jaune then picks his head up and just groans at seeing her, he gets up and stretches a bit causing a few cracks to loosen himself.
"Great to see you again, Uhh have you gotten a partner yet?" Asked Jaune as something crashed next to him, startling the boy whose wings popped out until he looked closer and saw that it was just Nora who had created a small crater where she was standing. "Oh hey Nora'' says Jaune with a smile seeing his first friend.
"Hey Jaune-Jaune'' says Nora as she looks at him then looks at the area. "Hmm looks like I threw her in the right direction" says Nora as she sees Pyrrha grabbing a random piece. She also spots the boy from the locker room. "Oh hey you're that boy from earlier, how are you. Ren gives a thumbs up to her and smiles. "You've meet my partner Ren already?" Ask Jaune as he walks up to Nora. "Yeah we met before the initiation, hmm looks like you got a better partner then me" says Nora with a frown on her face while looking at Pyrrha who is standing in front of them giving them a look that says to hurry up. She then ends up in the same position as Jaune when a girl in a red and black outfit lands on her.
Nora bursts out laughing "That's what you get!" With the other two sweat dropping. The snake woman pushes the scythe user off her"Get off me!" She stands up when suddenly "Out of the way!" Yells Yang as she runs past them grabbing a chess piece with a black cat darkstalkers runs as well.
After the two the black haired ones cat ears perk up and she suddenly looks up before jumping in between trees and catches Weiss before landing just as an alpha death stalker appears through the forest. "I got this,'' yells Ruby as she pulls out her scythe and rushes to the death stalker. "Yang seeing this suddenly tries to go after her sister but can't keep up. "Ruby no!" But her yells go unnoticed as she continues to rush before suddenly stopping and losing her scythe though the force. She looks back to see a giant black feather pinning her cape to the ground followed by an ear aching screech.
Everyone look up "Oh come on!" Yang yells as dodges a barrage of feathers. She starts running to her sister direction "Ruby get down!" She yells with her sister doing so as Yang punches the stingers that were about to skewer her sister. With the half giant using her hammer to break a part of the wall and throw it to the nevermore, as Jaune runs to Ruby as he orders immediately "Make sure the bird doesn't kill us!!" As everyone agrees with pyrrha making a Frustrated face but those it anyway. He arrives at Ruby side with Yang yelling "I ain't coming off you overgrown bug!" As she punches and shoots the giant scorpion back keeping it distracted, he arrives and just decides to ripped the hood out "Hey!" Ruby complains but is immediately stopped as Jaune throws her weapon at her and barks "Run! Yang get off!" With that order Yang with a final punch was able to crack some of its armor and launches herself off. With everyone starts running as fast they can.
As they are running away the Nevermore comes back around and launches more feathers at them with one nearly hitting the cat girl but Ren tackles her out of the way and onto the ground. He then gets up and gets a better look at her seeing that she is wearing a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg, emblazoned with the YKK logo. She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. An emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck. She looks a bit confused before seeing how she nearly died before looking back at the smiling boy who gets up and helps her. "Uhh thanks for the help name's Blake" says the girl as she's about to put out her hand before taking it back once she sees the death stalkers approaching. "Méi wèntí, míngzì jiào rén" says Ren as they both being to run before arriving at a bridge with Weiss, Jaune and Yang get across as the Nevermore decides to crash through the bridge causing Ren and Blake to fall. Blake pulls out a sickle like object and throws it up across the gap while Ren launches his claws to the beginning. As Nora, Pyrrha and Ruby are looking over the side the Death stalker appears with Ruby pulling out her scythe and blast herself across as Nora grabs a stinger heading at her face. Pyrrha then dodges the other and slips behind it forcing it to split its attention leaving it open for Ren to jump on his back and stab some of the eyes on his right side with his claws on fire. It screams in pain and tries to brings the tail that was chasing Pyrrha back to try and stab him only for flaming feather to stab the eyes on it's left leaving it completely blind and thrashing forcing Ren off of itself. Jaune then floats down with his lance ready. "Alright that things blind now so let's get rid of it!" Yells Jaune as they all look at him. "Pyrrha get it's legs tangled or cut off! Ren you keep those claws at bay! Nora get on the other side and rip the stingers off of it!" Orders Jaune as he fires more feathers at its back with most bouncing off its armor but some getting in the cracks left by Yang. The three then being the assault with Pyrrha being more hesitant to help but still doing as she was told. Using her stone gaze she is able to force the death stalker to freeze in place as Ren jumps back on wrapping his claws around the pincers of the scorpion and using ice dust to force them together. "Hybrid do it now!" Yells Pyrrha as he eyes being to sting from using her powers this long. Nora then grows large before grabbing the stingers of the scorpion and ripping them off causing it to scream in pain before Nora kills it by stabbing it through the head.
