Kakarot looked around, trying to think if he could find out where Whis was hiding. "I can't pass this test with knowledge alone. I have to start learning to detect the energy of the Gods... but how? Lord Whis never taught me this before..." before sitting down and starting to meditate, and saying to himself, "Focus Kakarot, focus. Lord Whis didn't train you for nothing."

Whis watched him from his staff and smiled, "Good, he's learning quickly."

Kakarot stood up and powered himself up, attempting to fill his body with Divine Ki. However, the Divine Ki was too much for his body to handle, and he collapsed from exhaustion.

Whis was surprised by what he saw using his staff and flew over to him, waking him up, "I'm sorry about this Kakarot. I've obviously been going too fast with your training."

Kakarot sighed, "I'm sorry I failed Lord Whis... I tried, I really did."

Whis smiled lightly, "Failure is part of training Kakarot, even Lord Beerus has made mistakes before, everyone, even gods make mistakes, and nobody is perfect."

Kakarot smiled lightly, "Thank you Lord Whis, I feel a bit more confident now. Can we get back to training?"

Whis nodded and helped Kakarot get up, "First, let's get you healed up, trying to tap into Divine Ki did a number on your body." before using his staff to heal Kakarot's wounds and restore his stamina.

Kakarot patted his body and said, "Thanks Lord Whis, I feel much better, and even a bit stronger too."

Whis chuckled, "That's just Saiyan biology, remember?"

Kakarot nodded, "Yeah, I remember, but it's just a bit weird feeling it for the first time. I guess we should continue training though."

Whis smiled, "Right. You're still young, but you've grown up so much since that fateful day eight years ago."

Kakarot also smiled, "That's thanks to you being there for me Lord Whis. If I were all alone on this planet, I wouldn't have gotten this strong. But I still know I can get stronger. You've gotten me excited for my fight with Lord Beerus, and I don't want to disappoint the God of Destruction, so I have to give it everything I have!"

Whis nodded, "Well then, shall we continue?" before blocking Kakarot's surprise punch. As the two of them trained longer into the afternoon, Whis was impressed with how fast Kakarot was picking up on his new skills.

3 years later later, Age 750...

Whis watched Kakarot as he attempted to fill his body with God Ki. As his hair flickered slightly between its normal black color and a deep shade of red, he smiled, "It seems he's gotten much more used to God Ki, which is good. He may be only 13, but he certainly is a fast learner."

Kakarot yelled as he powered up, attempting to reach Super Saiyan God, Whis's whole reason for training him to fight Lord Beerus. As he felt his body filling with God Ki, he slowly started to get used to the powerful energy, before screaming out as he went into the Super Saiyan God form. To test it out, he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. He could tell Whis was moving, even without the use of his eyes. He dashed at him and although his attack was blocked, he smiled as he opened his eyes and saw Whis in front of him, "Lord Whis! I did it! I unlocked my God Ki!"

Whis smiled and told Kakarot, "That's great Kakarot, but you still have a long way to go before you're ready to face Lord Beerus. Now, let us continue." before the two of them continued training, with Kakarot getting stronger as time went by.

11 years later, Age 761...

Day after day, Whis and Kakarot continued to train, and after years of training, Kakarot, now a young adult, has mastered God Ki and has begun training to master Ultra Instinct. While they were taking a break to eat, Kakarot asked Whis, "Lord Whis... You told me how I survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta, but are there other survivors?"

Whis checked his staff and nodded, "Yes, there are three other survivors, and it seems one of them is your older brother."

Kakarot's eyes widened when Whis told him he had an older brother, "I have an older brother!? Why didn't you tell me sooner!?" a bit upset that Whis had hidden this from him.

Whis chuckled, "I didn't tell you because you never asked about any other surviving Saiyans."

Kakarot sighed, "Ok, fair enough. But if there's other survivors, why am I the only one here? if I can become a Super Saiyan God, can't they?"

Whis told Kakarot, "Well, technically yes, but you've been training with me since you were a child. Teaching other survivors at this point, they'd have much more trouble learning than you have.

Meanwhile on Frieza Planet 79...

Three Saiyans who had also survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta were talking. Prince Vegeta told his subordinates, Nappa and Raditz, "I'm getting sick of Frieza's rule. But still, even with all three of us, we don't stand a chance against him."

Nappa sighed, "Yeah, he has no respect for what we've done for him, he treats us more like pets than actual people."

Raditz thought for a moment, "Wait! I remember, my brother Kakarot was sent to a planet not far from here. I'll go find him and bring him back. Frieza may be strong, but with four Saiyan warriors, there's no way he can win!"

Vegeta smirked and nodded, "Go get him then, we won't have a lot of time if Frieza's goons start feeding him rumors."

Raditz nodded, "Right." before heading to his battle pod and punching in the coordinates his brother was sent to as a baby.

And so, Kakarot's older brother Raditz is heading to Beerus's planet to find his younger brother to bring him back to the Frieza Force in order to have extra strength in the Saiyans' plan to overthrow the tyrant. But what Raditz doesn't know is that his brother is no longer a low class warrior, due to the years of training under Whis. What will happen when Raditz arrives to find Kakarot this strong? Only fate knows...
