-yawns- "Man that was a great sleep, now time to eat!" Luffy said as he bounced around his room. Luffy was especially energetic today and he didn't want to waste any time. Today was going to be a great day, all of his friends had made an arrangement where they could all go to Saboady Amusement park for two days! Luffy raced through the shower, got dressed, and breakfast in a flash, and ran out to be greeted by Zoro's car. Zoro lowered his window and smirked at Luffy.
"Yo, hop in. We're off to pick up Usopp next," Zoro said. Nami was in the driver's seat and waved excitedly at Luffy.
"Hurry Luffy! Money is time!" Nami shouted.
'Isn't it time is money?' Zoro thought.
"Yosh you're right! Meat is money time!" Luffy said confidently. They both sweatdropped but ignored his statement and waited for him to hop in. Luffy put on his seatbelt and gave Zoro his trademark thumbs up and grin. Zoro nodded and drove off to pick up Usopp. Luffy couldn't wait to go as he was now headed off to Usopp's house.
Ace watched from the doorway with a faint smile on his face. He was glad Luffy had such great friends. He felt his phone vibrate and answered it, guess it was time to go.
12:24 P.M At Usopp's house...
"Hahaha! So you finally get to leave my house eh?" Yasopp said before taking a swig from his beer. Usopp sighed as he packed his bug spray in his backpack. He ignored his father's jabs and merely focused on making sure to be alive at the end of the day. Let's see, bug spray? Check, bandages? Check, pills? Check, condoms? ...Maybe he could leave those behind.
"Wah? What are you leaving those behind for son? You should make a move on that orange-haired lady friend of yours," Yasopp said as he eyed Usopp leaving behind the condoms. Usopp paled at the sheer thought of going out with Nami.
Usopp stammered and nearly dropped the whole box out of his hands. "Uhh, dad you do realize she has a boyfriend right?" Usopp managed.
"What? Well, that's what you get for holding out so long," Yasopp said disapprovingly. Usopp realized this conversation was headed nowhere and decided to drop it. He prayed to God that his dad forgets about this conversation. He heard a familiar honk outside and realized Zoro must've arrived already. He zipped up his jacket and headed out the door with a quick wave to his dad before closing it quickly. The last thing he needed was for his dad to call out to his friends and embarrass him.
Sure enough, Zoro was there with Luffy and Nami in tow. Zoro honked and Usopp walked down the steps and hopped inside Zoro's car. The moment he put on his seatbelt, Zoro began driving off and Usopp spared a glance back at his father's trailer. Luffy was on his right side and Usopp was sat in the middle. Speaking of Luffy, he was looking at Usopp with an arched eyebrow
"So you're not bringing your backpack this time Usopp?" Luffy asked. Wait what?
Usopp looked beside and behind him. As if to be sure, he used both of his hands to grab at the air behind him that was not supposed to be there. He paled when he realized he left his backpack in a rush.
"Ack! Damnit, I forgot my backpack...hey Zoro? Think you could-" "No," Zoro muttered darkly.
"Oh come on! Please I won't take long!" Usopp offered. It was a vain attempt at best since judging by the clock, they were already running a bit late.
"Listen Usopp, I'm saying no because you need to man up and stop worrying about the small things," Zoro said as turned left Nami pointed and told him to go right. Nami was aware of Zoro's terrible sense of direction and accustomed to it by telling him to go the opposite of the correct directions since he would go the other way.
Usopp slunk back in his seat and sighed in defeat. His defeat was short-lived as he brought out his phone and Luffy bounced next to him. Usopp winced at Luffy's lack of personal space but he was already used to this. Usopp was just waiting for Luffy to utter those 3 words that would make him groan.
"Can I play?" There it was.
Usopp groaned and tried again to explain to Luffy that Usopp doesn't have games (even though he does). Nami noticed this and sighed. She opened her purse and brought out Zoro's phone. Zoro eyed her warily and his eye widened when she promptly gave Luffy his phone.
"Oi Nami what are you-" "If this will make Luffy stay quiet for the rest of the trip, then I'm all for it," Nami explained. Zoro grit his teeth and didn't back off just yet.
"Well then why didn't you just give him your phone instead?"
"Are you seriously suggesting that I give him my phone? You of all people should know he's the least trustworthy of using one," Nami countered. Zoro's eyebrow twitched, does she even hear herself right now?!
"That's exactly why I don't want you giving him MY phone! Because I know he can't be trusted with one!" Zoro argued as Nami pointed out another direction.
Luffy and Usopp were ignoring the argument, they were expecting this and Luffy got bored of Zoro's games and moaned unhappily.
"Man, I'm bored," Luffy said to no one in particular. Usopp ignored him and glanced at the phone in his hand.
"Well that sounds like your problem, I'll just be making sure I have enough storage for some more photos..." Usopp as he deleted some...photos he wouldn't like to talk about. Luffy leaned in and saw Usopp scrolling through his photos.
"What are you doing?" Luffy asked, startling Usopp.
"Uh-uh, nothing that concerns you! Just going my pictures and deleting some of them," Usopp said as he hid his screen from Luffy.
"Photos?" Luffy asked before grinning mischievously.
"Zoro! I'm going to look at some of your photos okay!" Luffy declared. Zoro paused in his argument with Nami and his face went pale.
"Wah, Luffy don't go through my photos!" Zoro said as he blushed a bit.
"Hah? What's wrong Zoro? Is it super embarrassing?" Luffy taunted. Zoro grit his teeth and Nami grew suspicious.
"Just...just don't look at them okay!" Zoro stammered. Zoro hoped Luffy would remember all his favors and abide by him.
"Mmmm, alright then," Luffy said. Zoro sighed out a huge breathe of relief. Nami continued to eye him suspiciously.
"But can you tell me why Nami is sucking your penis? Doesn't that feel weird," Luffy said as he looked at a very intimate picture of Nami very much sucking Zoro's penis.
Usopp's eyes widened and he looked at the phone in Luffy's hands. Lord have mercy, for a split second Usopp actually heard his father's voice about their conversation but quickly got rid of it because of Zoro. Usopp got a bloody nose at the picture, that scene would never leave his eyes again.
"LUFFY!!!" Zoro and Nami screamed, both blushing furiously. Luffy looked up confused, genuinely expecting an answer. What he saw instead was a fist colliding with his face.
"AAHHHHHHHH!!!"

Luffy was rubbing the huge lump on his head, he didn't even remember why Nami had hit him. As for Nami herself, she was a blushing mess and had taken the phone from his hands. She forgot about the picture Zoro took last night and she eyed him darkly. Zoro glared back at her with a look of 'I told you so' but was also flustered. Usopp had put on his earphones after that ordeal, he never heard anything...but he did see everything.
...
No one said a word after that.
1:47 P.M
"Man what's taking him so long, seriously he's always late," Sanji said as he tapped his foot impatiently. Robin was giggling lightly beside him.
"You should get used to this by now, it's pretty much a habit of his at this point," she said.
"Hnnn, you're right Robin," Sanji said before taking a drag from his cigarette. Luffy's brother was honestly one of the nicest people he's met but god does he have an awful habit of being late.
Sanji and Robin turned their heads to the right when they heard a loud honk and verbal abuse.
"Watch where the fuck you're going dipshit!!" A man yelled angrily as he waved a fist at an approaching White 2018 Lexus LS 500 S Sport. Sanji swore when he finally showed up, Ace the only one with a luxurious car like that that was spray-painted by a bunch of teenagers.
He pulled up in front of them and lowed the window on the passenger seat. He wore sunglasses and he had loud music blasting that caused Sanji to wince slightly while Robin was unaffected.
"Yo! Sorry I'm late, this girl gave me her number and I just couldn't decline," Ace said which made Sanji grumble.
"No worries Ace, Sanji, and I didn't wait long," Robin replied politely as she opened the door to the passenger seat. Ace flashed her a smile and then looked at Sanji.
"So you gonna hop in or what?" Ace asked smugly. Sanji huffed and threw away his cigarette, Ace didn't smoke and Sanji being the true gentleman he was wouldn't go in his car with a cigarette.
"Yeah yeah, just make sure we make it on time," Sanji said as he got in Ace's car. Ace smirked and removed his sunglasses in the cupholder.
"You got it," Ace said before he began driving off.
2:11 P.M.
"Pleaaaaseee~?" Luffy moaned as he rested his head on the car's carpet. Zoro groaned again and looked at Nami with a look of longing, to do something about Luffy. All she did wink at him as she listened to music from her phone. Usopp was knocked out even with Luffy's obnoxious snoring, meaning he had to deal with Luffy and his antics.
"Ugh! Fine! We'll order some damn food," Zoro grumbled. 'Coincidently' Nami had taken off her headphones and told Zoro she was hungry. Zoro eyed her darkly but she was oblivious to it.
"Should I wale up Usopp? I think he'd want some food too," Luffy said as he began poking Usopp's nose.
"Nah, we'll just order something for him. We know what he wants from here anyway," Zoro said as he pulled up to King of the Burgers. Zoro waited behind the car and scrolled through his phone. Nothing seemed to be interesting on MushiGram so he turned his phone off again. Luffy's mouth was watering at all the possibilities he could get.
"You're only getting two burgers Luffy," Zoro said abruptly. This snapped Luffy from his daydream of being surrounded by burgers and looked at Zoro like he had just told him a family member died.
"Ehh?! Why?" Luffy asked crestfallen. Luffy was aware of his monstrous appetite but that wasn't his fault!
"Because I want to save money for when he makes it to Saboady unless you brought some of your own money, you're not getting any more than that," Zoro explained. Ever since Zoro had begun to date Nami, he was wary of money and was very careful when it came to offers. Luffy slunk back in his seat defeated, he didn't bring any cash so there was no point trying...unless.
"What if I want something other than burgers?" He countered. Zoro's eyebrow twitched, damn Luffy...
"Ok then, what DO you want then?"
"Two burgers." "WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU EVEN ASK THEN!?!?" "Just cause."
Damn bastard, waste of his time. Thanks to Luffy, Zoro wasn't aware that he was holding up the line until a honk was heard. He eyed the person behind him darkly, the bastard even had the nerve to crack a smile while his buddy flipped Zoro off. Zoro pulled forward and placed his order, he would just have to show those bastards later he thought with a grin. He ordered 4 burgers for him and Luffy along with fries and a ribs sandwich for Usopp. He got 3 Colas and a chicken salad for Nami along with a tangerine smoothie for Nami.
Zoro moved to a parking spot after they got their food. Luffy was bouncing wildly and at one point he accidentally elbowed Usopp in his neck which woke him up gasping for air. Nami was meanwhile going through the bag to make sure they didn't forget anything.
"Ok, seems like everything's here," Nami said before shoving the bag in Zoro's hands. She was still a bit heated from when Zoro seduced the girl into giving them a discount.
"I don't see what the big deal is Nami, you told me to get a discount didn't you?" Zoro said before he handed her her smoothie. She took it and slurped on it, not wanting to take part in the conversation.
"Yosh, here's your burger Usopp...get your hands off of me Luffy!" Zoro yelled as Luffy tried to snatch the burger away from him.
"But I'm hungry and that burger looks soooo good!" Luffy whined. Zoro removed his arm from Luffy's grasp and handed the burger to Usopp. He dug back in the bag and brought out both of Luffy's burgers. This immediately calmed him down and before Zoro could even grab his burgers, someone knocked on his window.
Zoro looked at the person in question and smirked, it was the dude who honked behind him. Zoro lowered the window and glared smugly at him.
"Yo," Ace said calmly. Behind him was Sanji who greeted Zoro by flipping him off. Zoro returned the gesture but didn't spare him a glance. He looked at Ace and opened his door to properly greet him.
"Hey wassup Ace, so you finally caught up huh?" Zoro said lightly punching his shoulder. Ace dramatically backed away before ruffling Zoro's hair.
"Yeah yeah, I'm guessing Luffy's gobbling down the burgers you ordered him?" Ace asked when Luffy immediately answered by looking up at him with a mouthful. Ace only smirked.
"Yeah as you can see, but enough about that, how far are we from the hotel?" Zoro asked. The plan was to rent 2 rooms at a hotel and settle their things in it. After that, they would go to sleep and wake up early in the morning to spend their time at Saboady. It wasn't grand, they were just trying to have some harmless fun after all.
Zoro and Ace went over the plan whilst eating their orders. Luffy licked his fingers clean of the sauce that was used in his burgers, he was still hungry and that's when he settled his gaze on Sanji.
"Oi, Sanji!" Luffy yelled as he was in a conversation with Nami. He looked up annoyed, how dare he interrupt them?
"What do you want?" He said as he fiddled with the cigarette in his fingers.
"You got any food?"
"Yup sure do, but that's only for when we arrive at our hotel rooms," Sanji explained. Luffy pouted and stuck his tongue out, how childish Sanji thought. He tried to resume his conversation with Nami only to see her close the door in his face and see Zoro's car startup.
"Oi Sanji, hurry up and hop in or we'll leave you behind!" Ace called. Sanji sighed, guess they were back on the move again. He walked over to Ace's car and threw away his cigarette on his way. He hopped in and sat in the middle seat next to Robin. Ace aligned his mirror and put his shades back on before driving in front of Zoro so they could follow him. Sanji sighed, he overheard that they still had a few hours left before they arrived so he brought his earphones and let his music take over. He shut his eyes and was void of everything around him as he listened to his songs.
2:12 P.M
"...I have gathered you all here today for one thing. It is to discuss your work schedules. I understand that I have been overworking you all for the past couple of days but I want you to know that your efforts have paid off significantly." He said putting out his cigarette. His members looked at him seriously aside from one.
"Rest easy, I'll make sure you guys enjoy yourselves one way or another. So what do you say to take a trip to Saboady Park?" He offered. There were a few murmurs, mainly being about being against the idea.
"With all due respect sir, you are a well-known underground boss. Saboady is one of the most well-guarded amusement parks out there and you'd be caught almost instantly."
"Ah but that's where you're wrong, Galdino. You see even in a well-protected park like Saboady, there lies an area where underground dealers such as us roam freely. It's a paid-off area from cops and the manager of Saboady doesn't care, as long as we don't abuse our privileges," he explained. There were more murmurs this time, this time they were more or less considering the option.
"Well I for one have no complaints about this, I have been working so hard and I need to have sex," a man whimpered.
"I understand Bon, you are arguably the hardest worker here considering your magnificent talent to change your appearance through makeup."
"I'm glad you noticed! But what I seriously need is some dick, I have gone months without it and I crave it," he said as he looked around the room, looking for possible candidates. A few of them got chills down their spines
"Well the choice is yours fellas, it'll be a simple majority rule that'll quite literally be in your hands," he said as he snapped his fingers to order his members to hand his officers' paper slips.
"What do we-" "You write down either yes or no, it's that simple, " he explains. It didn't take long for them to write down their answers. Upon finishing, they handed the paper slips back to the members who gave them to them in the first place. The man with a snap of his fingers attracted the members and received the papers from them. He looked at each one carefully before looking up at his officers.
"It appears the majority of the vote was cast in a Yes with a 10-3 ratio. Can't say I'm surprised, you guys deserve it after all, " the man said whilst getting up. He walked past his top officers, stopping just at the front of the table.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Go out there and enjoy yourselves."
"Ah! Will do Mr.0!" Bon said as he ballerina-danced/hopped out his way toward the exit. The other officers soon followed shortly after except for one.
"And what about you sir? Do you plan on enjoying yourself as well?" a tall burly dark-skinned man said. The boss removed his cigarette before answering.
"It would be irresponsible of me as the boss to leave the company completely vacant, don't you think?" he said calmly.
"Yeah...I suppose you're right, " he said before walking away.
"I trust you know to not be completely distracted, correct?"
"Yeah, you got that right...Crocodile."
7:49 P.M.
-sighs- "Yosh, we're here," Zoro said as he parked. Since he started following Ace, Nami took a much-needed nap. Luffy had fallen asleep shortly after and only Usopp was left awake for the rest of the ride.
"Hey Usopp, mind helping me carry the things out?" Zoro asked as he unbuckled his seatbelt.
"Yeah sure, but do you got any spare clothes for me?" Usopp asked shyly. Since Zoro had refused to let Usopp get his backpack, he didn't have any personal belongings.
"Ummm...you should probably ask Luffy instead, my clothes would be too big for you," Zoro replied before getting out.
"Right," Usopp said doing the same. They closed the doors and it made Nami wake up. She blinked multiple times before coming to her senses. She stretched one arm into the air and arched her back, man that felt good. She looked around and noticed they had arrived and judging from the fact that she saw Zoro and Usopp carrying out their luggage, (hers), she assumed they had just gotten here.
"Luffy, wake up we're here," she said when she turned to him. Luffy kept snoring away and didn't wake up.
"Luffy," she said a bit more sternly and louder, no dice. She cracked her knuckles and then moved her hand to pinch Luffy's ear. He woke up at this and before he realized what was going on, it was too late.
"Luffy wake up you lazy idiot!" Nami yelled in his ear. She yelled so loud in fact that Zoro and Usopp were able to hear her even when they were in a conversation.
"Well guess they're awake now."
"Yeah..." (Man she's scary)
"So Zoro, you ready to pick out our rooms?" Ace said walking up behind him.
"Yeah, how should we do it? All girls and all guys in two separate rooms or...?"
"I don't know, I feel like you should be asking Nami that," Ace said nodding toward her.
"Hmmm, she'll probably want me and her to get our rooms," Zoro said, trying to sound unenthusiastic about it.
"Well whatever the case, don't worry too much about it, wanna grab something to eat later after we've finished unpacking?" Ace offered.
"Sure, just us two or?"
"Nah let's bring everyone, especially Luffy."
"Right, who knows what he'll do if he finds out we had food without him."
Ace and Zoro seemed settled on the plan and called everyone over to talk it over with them. In the end, they settled on getting one room with all the girls in one room and all the guys in another. Nami didn't want to spend too much money and wanted to spend some time catching up with Robin and her sister Nojiko.
8:54 P.M.
"Ahhhh man I. Am. BEAT. I'm going to hit the hay early guys, night," Ace said as he plopped smack middle on a bed. Zoro had tucked in early as well and crashed on a floor near a wall. Usopp, Sanji, and Luffy were all wondering what to do since they were bored.
"Sanji you brought your phone with you?"
"Yeah but I'm not letting you play with it Luffy."
"Hahh?! Why not?!"
"Because I don't want you touching my phone."
"Zoro let me play his..."
"Well, I'm not that shitty Marimo."
"Honestly, you guys are acting like a bunch of morons."
"Ehh!? What the hell did you say to us Usopp?!"
"I said you guys are acting like a bunch of morons," Usopp said as he sat in the middle of a pillow fort he made. Luffy immediately walked over to him.
"Oi Usopp, let me come in."
"No."
"Please?"
"No, you won't be able to fit in here."
"Ah okay," Luffy said turning around.
"THEN I'LL JUST BREAK IT DOWN!" Luffy said as he did a 180 punch.
"NO LUFFY DON'T--!!!" Usopp was too late and suffered the collapse of his pillow fort from the wrath of Luffy.
"You bastard!! Do you realize how long it took me to build that?!" Usopp said as he chucked a pillow at Luffy.
"Puah!"
"Served you right you shitty coward, don't be calling us morons you-" -POOF- Sanji's head was thrown back as Usopp hit him square in the middle with a pillow.
"Don't start acting all high and mighty now, not after you just got rejected by the receptionist!" Usopp said and paled as the words left his mouth.
"Ouch, good one Usopp," Luffy said throwing the pillow back at an unresponsive Usopp. The pillow from Sanji's face fell slowly and his face spoke 2 words.
Brewing storm.
"...Mind running that by me again? Usopp," Sanji started calmly as he took out his pack of cigarettes. Usopp shakily turned back to Sanji to meet his scowling face.
"I-I I-I wa-was just-kid-kidd-" Usopp never got to finish his sentence since an unsuspecting pillow smacked Sanji dead in the middle of his face from out of nowhere. Only one man would daringly do something like that.
"He called you guys morons, have you gone deaf too Swirly-Brow?" Zoro said with his arm outstretched like he just threw something. There was a dreadfully long pause of silence.
...
"You are DEAD MARIMOOOO!!!" Sanji bellowed loudly. Sanji quickly got up on both legs and chased Zoro with his two newly acquired pillows in each hand. While Sanji was chasing and throwing the pillows at Zoro, he missed at one point and hit Ace who was sleeping peacefully. Ace woke up instantly and didn't even question what was happening seeing as he had joined in immediately. Pillows were thrown, swears were flying, and everyone in that room got hit at the very least, 30 times.
10:52 P.M
"Yosh, you can stop me here."
"Yes sir, would you like for me to carry your luggage?"
"No it's fine, I can carry it myself." A man dressed in black with a hat had just arrived in front of the hotel Ace and company were staying at. He entered and asked the receptionist for his reserved room.
"Yes, here are your keys for room 1006, on the very top floor," the blue-haired girl said.
"Thanks, I appreciate it. -sighs- I didn't even want to take a break but he insisted, " the man said to himself. It was whatever, he would just have to hope that he didn't screw things up.
August 4th, 1:01 A.M.
"How are things looking?"
"Good sir, we paid for our stay and got us the tickets like you asked, maybe we can catch and kill her in honor of our late Arlong."
"Excellent, just make sure you kill that damn boyfriend of hers too, he was the one who killed our leader in the first place."
"Yeah don't worry, we got someone to take care of him all right."
6:40 A.M.
"Yosh! Everyone, it's time to get up! Hurry up chop-chop, " Ace said as he went around shaking the guys to wake them up. Usopp and Sanji groaned and they both wake up on the floor since the pillow war last night tired them out to the point they paid no attention to where they slept. Luffy woke up half hanging off the edge with his feet being pressed against Zoro's side.
"...Damn it Luffy, " Ace said as he ever so slightly pushed Luffy's head down with the minimalist amount of force to get him to faceplant on the floor.
"Zoro..." Ace said as he ruffled his hair to the point it got annoying.
"Yeah yeah, now stop doing that, " Zoro said swatting away Ace's hand. Usopp was the first to enter the bathroom and by the time he got out, Luffy had just woken up from the sudden urge to breathe.
"Ah? Why is my face on the floor, " Luffy asked as he pushed himself up. No one answered him and Sanji was the second to enter the bathroom. Ace was already prepared and trusted his friends to get ready soon.
"I'll go see what they got for breakfast, you wanna come with Usopp?" Ace asked.
"N-no thanks, I'm not really hungry, and won't Sanji make breakfast for us?"
"Hey, it just means one less dish for him to prepare. Well, I'll be going then, get ready quickly guys, " Ace said as he smacked the door frame.
About 10 minutes after that, Sanji got out of the bathroom and Zoro entered. Whilst the boys were getting ready, the girls were just about finished getting ready themselves.
"Hey, Robin, why don't you have a boyfriend?" Nojiko asked as she capped her lipstick. Robin looked up from her book and gave her a polite smile.
"I'm not interested in looking for a partner at the moment," she replied.
"Yeah, I figured a woman as beautiful as you could get any man if they tried, " Nojiko said. They were just about finished applying their lipstick and combing their hair. They were wearing casual long-sleeved simple-colored shirts along with blue jeans. Nojiko was the only one with her jeans ripped and had her hair combed to one side, as Ace preferred. Nami had tied her hair up into on single long ponytail and Robin's hair stayed the same, only she kept it neatly combed.
They both left shortly afterward and Nami groaned at the fact that the guys were still not ready. So much so that she went ahead and knocked on their door.
"Hey, you guys, hurry up and get ready we don't have all day you know?" Her question was quickly answered in the form of Zoro opening the door who was still clad in nothing but his towel.
"Yeah, we'll be finished soon, right guys?" Zoro asked behind him. They all nodded and Nami took the chance of Zoro looking back to ogle at Zoro's body.
"Taking a chance to peek huh Nami?" Robin teased which made Nami tense up.
"N-not at all, you guys just better make sure to get ready soon or I'll make sure to triple your debts you hear?!"
"Yes ma'am, " they all deadpanned.
"Good, now umm, where's Ace?"
"He went to go see if they had any breakfast."
"Honestly, I thought we planned that we were gonna eat what Sanji was going to prepare?"
"He said something about 1 less belly to fill."
"Well with or without him, we have to eat before we head out, so Sanji make us something to eat please."
"Yes of course Nami my sweet! I'll make sure to swoon you over with my cooking skills!"
'Yeah right' Zoro and Nami thought.
7:17 A.M
"Nnrrggh, what time is it?"
"It is about to be 7:20, master."
"Ugh, drop the honorifics. I already told you how I felt about them."
"Very well then, I apologize on behalf of my incompetence."
"And don't...why do I even bother, it's not even your fault anyway..."
"Come again?"
"Nevermind, let's just grab breakfast and head to Saboady, it'd be rude of me to not use the ticket he went through so much to get."

"Yeah, start the car B. Who knows, maybe I'll actually enjoy my time there, " he said with a smirk, chuckling at the absurdity of his thought.
7:40 A.M
The group of high schoolers was all stuffed to their heart's contents thanks to a certain cook. Yet even before, during, and after their meal, Ace did not return. The city they lived in wasn't a relatively safe one, especially now ever since the controversial execution of Gol D. Roger. Crime has gone up more than 50% and the general public has a majority amount of dislike for the government.
Nojiko, Ace's girlfriend, is who you'd normally expect to be the most worried out of them, but she was perfectly calm, more so than Robin and that is saying something.
"I just don't get it! Why didn't you just accompany him to breakfast?" nami said exasperated, worried on her sister's behalf.
"Well, how was I supposed to know this would happen?!" Usopp countered. Everyone aside from Nojiko was worried in the slightest at least and they went looking for him almost immediately after they finished their meals. Sanji took the liberty of keeping an eye on both Zoro and Luffy to make sure they didn't wander off somewhere.
"Let's take the elevator, which floor is where breakfast located?"
"Is should be on the bottom past the casino, " Robin said as she looked at the layout of the hotel. Trust Robin to be one step ahead of everyone else. Nami input the order and waited to reach the bottom.
"Ah wait! Keep the elevator open please?" came an unknown voice. The only one who reacted on time was Robin and she kept the door open for the strangers.
"T-thank you, something came up and I need to hurry and eat breakfast before I attend to it, " said a black-haired man. He shoved jus way in and stood next to Nami. Nami didn't miss the way his gaze lingered on her more than necessary.
"Well aren't you a sexy kitten? Mind giving me your number so I can take you out sometime?" he asked smoothly.
"No thanks, I already have a boyfriend."
"Oh come on, what kind of boyfriend doesn't spend the most time they can with someone like you?"
"T-That's...you."
"No no, it's quite all right. If you don't feel comfortable then that's on me, " he said, finally putting a halt to their awkward conversation. Nami pouted, it wasn't like her to lose her cool like that, and she didn't miss the way Nojiko had arched an eyebrow at her.
They heard the Ding and everyone moved out. Nami was still thinking about what happened in the elevator and bumped into a blue-haired girl.
"Ah, sorry, " she said apologetically. Said blue-haired girl gave Nami the stink eye but before she could process it, she heard a shrill scream.
"AAHHHHH!! HE'S DEAD!! SOMEONE SAVE HIM!!"
Said cry caused all heads to whirl around to where the lady was pointing and what they saw made them freeze in their tracks.
Portgas D. Ace's face was crushed atop his plate with blood streaming down.
7:48 A.M
He couldn't believe it, sure crimes were popular nowadays, but to have one happen here without anyone's notice?
"Step aside I'm a doctor, " he authoritatively. He walked up and checked his pulse, waited and waited...
He stood up without a word.
Everyone, he's...
"Law?"
Law stiffened, he was imagining it, right?
He slowly turned around and noticed the top of a familiar-looking straw hat looking back at him. There was no doubt about it, it was Luffy.
"Hm? Oi Ace wake up! We have to go to Saboady remember?" Luffy said as he snatched a fry from his plate.
- yawns - "huh? What time is it?" Ace said unperturbed.
"YOU MEAN YOU WERE JUST SLEEPING?!?!" everyone yelled out.
"Hm?"
Law sighed, that sure startled him a bit.
"Anyways, how have you been Traffy! Haven't seen you since...our old soccer team?"
"Yeah it has been...quite a while Luffy, " Law said. Shortly followed behind Luffy, we're none other than Zoro and Sanji in yet another of their once-in-a-lifetime verbal brawls.
"IT'S YOUR FAULT I WAS WITH YOU THE WHOLE DAMN TIME MOSSHEAD!! IT'S YOUR FAULT I COULDN'T SPEND ANY TIME WITH THE LADIES!!" s
Sanji yelled in his ear.
"Tch, nice to know where your priorities are pervert-cook, " Zoro answered. It was put to an abrupt halt by Nami herself who smashed their heads in.
"WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF?!? Also Luffy, you know him?"
"Yeah, Garp put me in a soccer training camp and that's where I met Law! Though there was some other guy too..."
"I think you mean Kidd Straw Hat."
"Yeah, that guy! So what're you up to Law?"
"Well that's...complicated and I can't really tell you."
"Awww what? Why not?"
"Forget it Luffy, if he can't tell us then he can't tell us. Besides, " he picked up Ace's plate.
"It's classified information am I right?" Zoro said starting right at Law. There was a tension only known by him and Law at that moment.
"...Yeah."
"Well, you heard him. Ace, get your ass up we're heading out."
"Yosh, " Ace said wide awake. "Thank you for the meal and sorry for the commotion, " Ace said apologetically. He left a tip and soon they all grouped up and prepared to head out. They hot organized and hopped in both Ace and Zoro's car before heading off to Saboady which was approximately an hour away.
8:53 A.M
"Sir, the scouts are all prepared and are awaiting your command. They have the merchandise and just as ordered, have all gotten in position."
"Excellent, that's exactly what I want to hear. All 15 scouts are ready right?"
"Affirmative sir."
"Good...then it's time for them to plant them, hand me the Mushi."
"Here you go, " -click-
"Attention all scouts, I have been informed that you are all ready and are on standby for my orders, is this correct?"
"Affirmative sir, " 14 voices answered at once.
"Excellent, then, plant the bombs."
Through the transceiver, a lot of digging was heard.
"Heh, here take this back, -toss-. Everything's going according to plan, that old geezer should've just taken my offer, even his threat of calling the cops won't be enough to handle fifteen stealthy scouts!"
"That's where you are wrong, " came the booming voice of an unrecognizable man.
'Shit' "Ah? And who the hell are you supposed to be? Some punk-ass cop who got a hold of one of my men?"
"I suggest you watch your tone with me, I am a police chief after all. As for the other half of your question, you are correct. I have pinned and disarmed the bomb your lackey had, I have also recorded the entire conversation you had over the transceiver, the cops will arrive shortly."
'Damn Bastard!' "And to who I owe the pleasure of a shitty captain such as yourself?"
"Hm? If you want my name then all you have to do is ask nicely."
"Screw that, attention all scouts, once you have planted the bombs you have 5 minutes starting now to get away as fast as possible you hear?!"
His question was answered in the form of furious mumbling and digging.
"Shit, you do realize the consequences for when we find you are going to be severe don't you?!"
"If officer if. Now then, considering I am even a tad bit interested in who you are, I will for your name nicely."
"Chief Smoker and trust me, once I get ahold of the scumbag you are, I will torture you to the point where you'll have nothing left to spill,"
"Intimidating I'll give you that, but I have plans before that happens. See you never again, " -Click-
"Damn it! All these people...I have to protect them!"
Smoker shoved around the scout before eventually picking him up. He threw him in his car and locked it.
"What to do...well there's only one thing to do really, " Smoker said as he eyed his megaphone. He picked it up promptly and adjusted it to max volume.
"Attention everyone! Please step out of Saboady Park, there are rumors of multiple bomb plantings around the amusement park!" as expected, the people immediately reacted and that's when he noticed a straw hat in the crowd.
'Shit is that...!'
"Hey are you-!?! -KABOOOOOM!!!!!-
A huge cloud of darkness clouded his vision and the tremendous force caused him to be sent flying backward. He crashed into a nearby game stall and felt immediate pain course through his back. The ringing came later after a thunderous boom echoed throughout the area. Smoker's eyes stung immensely and whenever he periodically opened his eyes, all he saw were bodies flying or lying on the ground.
He heard one fellow shout a name, most likely one that belonged to someone he cared about before it drowned out from another explosion. Smoker cursed inwardly if only he saw this coming sooner. Soon multiple explosions were heard all throughout Saboady park, it was terrifying, to say the least. The magnificent yet traumatizing sparks of explosive light covering the area, a sign of violence that brought nothing but destruction. The suffocating clouds of smoke invaded everyone's nostrils to the point they began to spit out blood. Smoker couldn't feel any kind of movement in his left arm, but he was still able to stand.
He stared in shock at the sight around him, large pillars of smoke towering above him, flames circling and swirling around them, practically forming a staircase. Yet the thing that made his blood boil were the screams he heard.
Absolute silence and not a single sound to be heard.
This put him on edge, he refused to believe that he was the only survivor there.
"Na...mi, " a voice called out. Smoker stumbled to it immediately and noticed a green-haired man bleeding from his head. He also noticed a gunshot in his back, it was fresh taking the faint smoke trail left. Seems the explosions canceled out the sounds of the gunshot. It was them the man
began to look familiar to him, green hair...
"You're..."
The man grabbed the bottom of his leggings.
"Where...is Nami?"
"I'm afraid she was...lost in the explosions that occurred.
"No no no...I saw her...being kidnapped."
This surprised him, kidnappings were going on amidst this crisis?!
"She's...nearby I know she is, " Smoker admired this man greatly. Even in his state, he cared about the protection of this 'Nami' more so than himself.
"Who kidnapped her, do you know?"
"Yeah I know alright, it was...that bastard Hody!!!" He said fiercely, gripping the grass with his all of his current strength.
"I swear, I'll get her back! I have to!"
It was then, a 4th bomb exploded near them.
A/N: Man this took way too long to finish, though I am happy with how it turned out. Although I am still debating whether I make this a two-parter or a three-parter, either way, I'm excited to see how this story will unfold. The next part will start off with the group going around and doing fun challenges until the chaos begins.
