And this chapter is about Kintoki. Because I like Kintoki. Please stop making stories about Shirou. Make them about Kintoki. Because frankly, I'm sick of Shirou. That's all anyone ever really writes about. I had to make a FSN/FGO crossover myself because no one else would do it. I'll stop ranting now.

Ritsuka coughed as he fell to the ground, his ankle twisted from tripping over the tree root. Behind him, the hulking form of Berserker charged at him, leaping into the air and ready to bring his stone slab down on top of him. Ritsuka sighed and closed his eyes. Surviving everything thrown at him, taking on the Singularities and Lostbelts, and this was where his story ended?

And then... a flash of lightning, accompanied by a roar of thunder.

"Kept you waitin', didn't I, Boss? Sorry about that." A familiar voice called out to him, causing Ritsuka to open his eyes. Standing there was Kintoki, looking like a superhero with his wide, reassuring grin as he blocked Heracles's stone weapon with his Golden Eater. The two broke apart from their stalemate, leaping away from each other as the two Berserkers stared down the other. "I've always wanted to take on Heracles, but the circumstances are a little bit less than golden, eh Boss?"

"Y-yeah," Ritsuka let out a hiss as he slowly stood on his foot, keeping pressure off his hurt ankle. "Not in a position to run though... so our only option is to win," Kintoki's grin somehow got even wider as he held his axe out to Heracles.

"Ya hear that, Heracles? Tonight's the night you drop out of this war," He boasted. Heracles's only response was to roar and charge at the two, Kintoki's axe crackling with lightning as the Heian Hero charged to meet the Greek Goliath. Heracles swung first, Kintoki barely dodging as he countered, using an underhand swing to bring his axe upwards into Heracles's chin. Even with his Mind's Eye, Heracles couldn't dodge the attack, the sound of thunder rumbling as the Greek giant was thrown back from the force of the attack, surprising both Ritsuka and Kintoki.

"... Oh right, we're in Japan," Ritsuka suddenly remembered. Kintoki's stats normally were enough to let him brawl with Heracles, although he would lose in the end, but now with a homeland boost behind him, especially with a hero as famous as Sakata Kintoki? They suddenly had a fighting chance. Kintoki kicked off the ground, soaring through the air as he raised his axe over his head. Heracles flipped up, jumping back away from his spot as Kintoki crashed into the dirt like a bolt of lightning. The great Greek Hero took his rock slab, and with a roar, threw it at Kintoki, who swung his axe to deflect the attack, the sheer force of the thrown object still causing the bones in his arm to rattle.

And then they were reminded Kintoki was not the only son of a lightning deity.

Faster than lightning, Heracles shot forward, burying his gigantic fist into Kintoki's stomach as the Japanese hero was still reeling from deflecting the attack, sending the golden hero crashing through several trees and landing on his back in the dirt. Ritsuka turned to call out to Kintoki, but a voice caught his attention.

"So, this is where you two went off to," Illya walked onto the scene, looking at the general destruction of the forest. "It seems we won't be able to get to Onii-san so long as this boy stands against us. Berserker...," Her face twisted from indifference to a twisted, sadistic smile. "Kill them," With a roar, Heracles went to attack Ritsuka, but suddenly a golden axe flew through the air, embedding itself into the Greek Hero's shoulder.

"Who...?" Kintoki was standing, lightning crackling around him as his skin was beginning to take a reddish hue, the rage of a berserker flowing into him. "Who did that to that child?" He took a step forward. "HERACLES!" His roar was like a thousand lightning bolts crashing at once, the resulting thunder being deafening. "YOU'RE A GOLDEN HERO, AREN'T YOU?!" He took another step forward, and to everyone's surprise, Heracles took a step back to adjust his stance. "CHILDREN SHOULDN'T HAVE THOSE KIND OF LOOKS ON THEIR FACES. THEY SHOULD BE HAPPY, LIVING THEIR LIFE TO THE FULLEST!" He broke off into a full run, charging at the Greek Giant with no regards to his own safety. "WHY HAVEN'T YOU SAVED THAT CHILD?!"

He leapt into the air, his fist crashing into Heracles's face, forcing the hero to take another step back. As if to answer his question, Heracles let out a roar, swinging his giant fist into Kintoki's face, the Japanese Demon Slayer being forced to take a step back from the attack as well.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT! YOU'RE ONE OF THE GREATEST HEROES!" Kintoki's roars matched the enraged Greek man's as he drove his fist into Heracles's stomach. He then rushed forward, grabbing Heracles and running, taking off like a runaway train to plow Heracles through several trees. With a roar, Heracles raised both fists over his head and slammed them down into Kintoki's back, forcing the Heian Hero to release his grip and fall towards the earth. With another great roar, before Kintoki could even touch the ground, Heracles sent an kick into Kintoki's gut, sending the golden hero flying upwards. The Japanese hero grabbed the handle of Golden Eater in an attempt to keep himself close to the ground, but the force of the attack only dislodged the weapon and sent the two flying upwards anyways.

At this moment, Ritsuka made his move.

Holding up his hand, the command seals glowed as he gave out an order. "Kintoki! By my command seal, show Heracles the true righteous fury of a hero!" One stroke of his three command seals vanished, and at the moment, Kintoki crackled with red lightning as he was empowered by the Command Seal.

Gritting his teeth, Kinoki forced mana to shoot out from the bottom of his feet, sending him hurtling down towards Heracles. All 15 of the cartridges along Golden Spark began to glow, pumping the axe full of lightning as the axe glowed like an electric sun, illuminating the entire night with its golden light.

"Take this! My love, my anger, and all my sorrow! Hissatsu!-Gooolden Spaaark!" Kintoki roared as he streaked down towards Heracles like a comet. Heracles in responded leapt up to met his opponent's challenge. The two forces collided, a moment of absolute silence filled the area before a gigantic shockwave surged from their point of impact, leveling all the trees in the forest, and sending the two Masters off their feet, the two flying off in opposite directions.

Ritsuka crashed into the ground, bouncing like a stone being skipped across a lake's surface. When he finally came to a stop, the boy let out a cough, his entire body screaming in pain. Laying on the ground, he could see Kintoki rushing to him as Heracles went to save Illya. With a cough, Ritsuka smiled.

"We did it, Big Bro," He muttered as Kintoki scooped his up in his arms. The Golden Hero didn't answer, instead running off. Even in his anger induced state, Kintoki could tell that after this, Ritsuka needed a physical examination. But so long as Kintoki was there, he'd be Ritsuka's golden hero, and save him once more.
